    Pain management in Rheumatoid Arthritis aims to reduce or eliminate pain and discomfort. Warm compresses with ginger become one of complementary treatment which can reduce pain in rheumatoid arthritis sufferers because ginger contains the enzyme cyclo-oxygenase. The aims determine the effect of warm compresses with ginger on pain intensity in the elderly with rheumatoid arthritis. The methode This research is a quantitative design with a Pre Experiment approach (One group pretest and posttest design). Conducted at 23 Ilir Health Center Palembang. The sample in this study were elderly people with rheumatoid arthritis at the 23 Ilir Health Center Palembang in 2022, totaling 30 people. The results indicate that the average pain score before warm compresses with ginger is 5.57, the lowest pain score before warm compresses with ginger is 3 and the highest score is 9. The average pain score after warm compresses with ginger is 3.80, the score is 3.80. pain after a warm compress with ginger the lowest was 2 and the highest score was 6. There was an effect of warm compress with ginger on pain intensity in the elderly with rheumatoid arthritis (ρ=0.000), with an average difference of 1.77 scores. Based on the results of the study for Public Health 23 Ilir Palembang, it is hoped that it can be used as a reference for determining policies in overcoming and improving health, especially the elderly who have the pain

    The covid-19 vaccine is given to provide immunity for community groups against the transmission of covid-19. Public knowledge about the COVID-19 vaccine is still lacking and there are still many people's attitudes that are reluctant to be vaccinated against COVID-19. These two things cause the low coverage of the COVID-19 vaccine in Indonesia. Objective: to find out the relationship between knowledge and public attitudes towards the covid 19 vaccine. Methods: The type of research used is quantitative with the use of descriptive survey methods. The sampling technique used was total sampling. The sample in this study were 85 respondents. Collecting data using a questionnaire. Bivariate analysis uses the Kendall's tau test . The results showed that the median value of the respondent's age was 42 years, most of the respondents were female with a total of 51 respondents (60%). Most of the respondents' occupations are housewives with 36 respondents (42.4%). The education of the most respondents is SMA with a total of 42 respondents (49.4%). Knowledge of respondents is known to be moderate with a total of 61 respondents (71.8%). The attitude of the respondents is known to be good with a total of 56 respondents (65.9%), getting the complete vaccine as many as 52 respondents (61.2%).  Bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge and acceptance of the covid 19 vaccine (π : 0.255 p : 0.017) and significant relationship between attitude and acceptance of the covid 19 vaccine (π: 0,944 p : 0, 007)

    Teenagers start smoking for various reasons, such as imitating adult behavior, peer pressure, and imitating the traits of famous people who usually smoke. Adolescents who are likely to have low smoking behavior are adolescents whose family and friends do not smoke, are interested in academic activities or sports, and those who have plans to enter higher education, according to WHO (2018) every 6, 5 seconds one person dies from smoking. WHO research (2018) estimates that people who start smoking in their teens (70% of smokers at an early age) and continue smoking for 2 decades or more, will die 20-25 years earlier than people who have never touched cigarettes. This is the relationship between knowledge of the dangers of smoking and smoking behavior in young men at SMPN 06 Jambi City in 2021. This research was conducted on young men at SMPN 06 Jambi City which was carried out on August 4, 2021, this study was a quantitative study, with a cross sectional approach. Measuring tools using a questionnaire and the method of data collection by filling out a questionnaire. The population in this study was class VIII SMPN 06 Jambi City with a total of 179 students. With a sample of 63 respondents. The sampling method is using proportional random sampling technique and using univariate and bivariate analysis with chi-square statistical test. The results of research on smoking behavior from 63 respondents 54 respondents (85.7%) do not smoke, knowledge of the dangers of smoking from 63 respondents 46 respondents (73.6%) is high. The results of the statistical test show that there is a relationship between knowledge of the dangers of smoking and smoking behavior with a P-Value of 0.004 in young men at SMPN 06 Jambi City in 2021.It is hoped that the results of this study can increase outreach activities in the form of media leaflets, posters and banners about the dangers of smoking through school UKS in collaboration with the local health center

    Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) explains obesity in adolescents aged 16-18 years with the (BMI/U) category of 4.0%, an increase from 2013 which was 1.6%. In West Kalimantan, the prevalence of obesity in adolescents aged 16-18 years increased from only 1.0% in 2013 to 3.4% in 2018. Meanwhile, the prevalence of obesity in adolescents aged 16-18 years in Pontianak city also increased from 2013, which was only 0. .5% to 1.75% in 2018. The teenagers are experiencing obesity because their lifestyles are much different, judging by their habit of consuming fast food on the grounds that they follow trends, are practical and taste better. The purpose of this study was to determine student behavior in obesity prevention. The type of research is a descriptive study that aims to determine obesity prevention behavior in STIKes Baiturrahim Jambi students. The research was conducted in February -March 2022. The sample used was 239 people using the proportional sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire, then analyzed univariat. The results showed that the behavior of respondents in the effort to prevent obesity was mostly good, 123 respondents (51.1%).     Baby care in health sciences, especially midwifery, there is many of kinds that use to maintain the health of babies from newborns to 12 months of age. One of baby care is baby massage. Baby massage is an art of health care that is touch therapy with specialy techniques that given to babies there for the benefits of treatment and health are achieved. This research is quantitative with cross sectional approach. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between mother's knowledge and attitudes towards the implementation of infant massage for infants 0-12 months at PMB Muzilatul Nisma Jambi City. The data collection of mother's knowledge and attitudes towards the implementation of infant massage was collected by a questionnaire. The population in this study were all mothers with babies 0-12 months who visited PMB Muzilatul Nisma totaling 80 people with a sample of 45 peoples. The sampling technique is accidental sampling. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate using chi square statistical test. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and massage in infants aged 0-12 months with p-value = 0.039. Beside that, there is a relationship between mother's attitude and baby massage in infants aged 0-12 months with a P-value = 0.012. From the results of this study, it is hoped that health workers and midwifery service providers will be more active in providing education to the public about baby massage

    Availability of physiotherapy services at puskesmas to facilitate access to physiotherapy services for people who are indicated to need general physiotherapy services by prioritizing maintenance through promotive and preventive approaches. This study describes the problems related to the Effectiveness of the Availability of Physiotherapy services at the Bukit Indah Health Center, Muara Papalik District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency in terms of Input, Process and Output. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, an attempt to present facts about the effectiveness of the availability of physiotherapy services at the puskesmas. The data source for this research is primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, analysis techniques used. The results of the study show effectiveness in terms of input, human resources are in accordance with standards, room facilities, tools and funds are not yet available, patients who require physiotherapy services are included in the top 10 diseases at the puskesmas. In terms of the physiotherapist process, they have been involved in running the service program but are still integrated with other programs. In terms of output, the availability of physiotherapy services at the Bukit Indah Health Center has been felt by the community in the work area of the Health Center, but the types of services still need to be improved. The results of this study can be transferred to health centers that have the same characteristics

    The Directly Observed Treatment Short-course (DOTS) strategy is the best strategy recommendation for pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) intervention at the international level and has been implemented in Indonesia. However, the bored may also occur among Medication Supervisor (PMO) resulted medication non-adherence to the TB patients. This study aims to determine differences in the level of patient medication adherence through the use of Short Message Service (SMS) with PMO at Puskesmas Dinoyo, Malang. The post-test only control group design was used on a population of pulmonary TB patients who were registered at the Puskemas Dinoyo Malang during July to December 2012 with a total of 33 patients. The sample were recruited using simple random sampling. The Self Reported Questionnaire and observation form used as study instrument. Fisher exact test was used in hypothesis testing. The results showed non- significant difference between the drug adherence among respondents who received SMS and respondents who received reminders from PMO only (p-value 0.50 > 0.05). Providing reminders at the same time every day, either by SMS or PMO only, is equally beneficial in the success of treatment. Together will increase compliance and reduce the negligence to take medication. Longitudinal design is recommended for further study

    Adolescents are individuals both women and men who are between students and adults. The limit for adolescents in this case is the age of 10-19 years according to the classification of the World Health Organization (WHO). The nutritional needs for adolescents are very large because they are still growing. Adolescents need energy/calories, protein, calcium, iron, zinc and vitamins to fulfill physical activities such as school activities and daily activities. Nutritional problems are generally caused by economic problems, lack of food, poor environmental quality. Based on the initial survey conducted on students of SMA Negeri 11 Jambi City, which was conducted by interview, there were 8 out of 11 students who did not understand the nutritional status of adolescents.the number of samples in this study were 79 respondents. To find out the size of the problem with the dependent variable and related factors, where the measurement of the variable is momentary and only once.After the data was obtained from the results of filling out the questionnaire by the respondents, it was processed using computer facilities and then analyzed into two forms of analysis, namely univariate analysis and bivariate analysis.The majority of respondents with normal nutritional status, namely 25 people (41.0%) came from families with high incomes and the majority of respondents with thin nutritional status had low family income, namely 22 people (36.1%). From the bivariate analysis of the relationship between family income and nutritional status (BMI/U), a p value = 0.000 (<0.05) is obtained, which means that there is a significant relationship between family income and nutritional status based on the BMI/U index at SMA Negeri 11 Kota Jambi

    Syphilis is a sexually transmitted infection caused by Treponema pallidum which can cause quite severe conditions such as brain infections and body defects which can be dangerous if it occurs in pregnant women.  This type of research is Observational Analytics  with a cross-sectional research design which aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, education of pregnant women and husband's occupation of the incidence of syphilis in the Working Area of the Muara Tembesi Health Center in 2022. This research was conducted in February-April 2022 The population in this study was  all pregnant women in the working area of the Muara Tembesi Health Center in 2021 totaled 338 people with a sample of 77 respondents.  The sampling technique used is Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling.  Data collection used a questionnaire with univariate and bivariate analysis with the statistical test used was chi-square.  The results showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge (ρ=0.003‹0.05), education (ρ=0.001‹0.05), and work (ρ=0.002‹0.05) on the incidence of syphilis in pregnant women.  ‹0.05).  It was concluded that the higher the knowledge, attitudes of pregnant women, and husband's support became the most dominant factors influencing the class of pregnant women

    Malnutrition is an imbalance between food intake and the body's needs to fulfill specific functions of the body. Intake of macronutrients is needed by toddlers in growth and development. The imbalance in the level of consumption of macronutrients against the body's needs can affect tissue and body mass which has an impact on malnutrition. Children born with LBW have a 3.34 times greater risk of experiencing poor nutritional status compared to children who are not LBW. Objective: To determine the relationship between food intake and LBW with the incidence of malnutrition in toddlers aged 1-5 years. This research is descriptive analytic with a case control design with a total sample consisting of 31 cases and 31 controls. The research variables were food intake and LBW. This research was conducted in October 2021 at the Darul Imarah Health Center. Data analysis used Chi square test with 95% confidence level. In the case group, toddlers had adequate energy intake, mostly 22 people (44.9%), adequate carbohydrate intake 23 people (51.1%), adequate protein intake 27 people (47.4%), and fat intake deficit 31 people. (56.4%). The incidence of malnutrition in the case group was mostly experienced by 17 LBW infants (53.1%). There was a relationship between fat intake and the incidence of malnutrition (p < 0.05), while the intake of energy, carbohydrates, protein and low birth weight had no relationship with the incidence of malnutrition (p > 0.05)
