    PEMBINAAN KEPEMIMPINAN MELALUI ORGANISASI KESISWAAN DI MADRASAH

    Abstract Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak program pembinaan kepemimpinan melalui organisasi kesiswaan di Madrasah Aliyah Al Amiriyah terhadap pengembangan keterampilan kepemimpinan dan nilai-nilai moral siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dan wawancara terstruktur kepada siswa yang aktif dalam OSIS dan klub kesiswaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi dalam organisasi kesiswaan signifikan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa melalui pengembangan keterampilan memimpin, berkomunikasi, dan mengelola proyek. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga mendorong penyelarasan dengan nilai-nilai sekolah, seperti integritas, kerja keras, dan penghargaan terhadap keberagaman, yang menjadi bagian integral dari kurikulum madrasah. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pendekatan holistik dalam pendidikan untuk membentuk siswa yang siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan dengan keyakinan, moral yang kuat, dan keterampilan yang relevan untuk sukses dalam kehidupan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pemahaman tentang peran organisasi kesiswaan dalam pembentukan karakter dan persiapan siswa untuk menghadapi kompleksitas dunia modern dengan kesiapan yang optimal.     EFEKTIVITAS EVALUASI PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS HOTS MENGGUNAKAN KAHOOT PADA MATA PELAJARAN PAI DAN BUDI PEKERTI DI SDN 343 KUBANGAN TOMPEK

    Learning evaluation is the most important part of learning, because it measures the level of understanding of students of the material that has been delivered. Learning evaluations are still manual using paper and have not used digital platforms, such as kahoot. And the questions presented during the learning evaluation are not HOTS-based so that students are not accustomed to high level thinking (Critical Thinking). This study aims to improve the high-level thinking ability of students in grade VI SD 343 Kubangan Tompek and innovation in learning evaluation. This type of research is a quasi experiment using control and experimental classes. Quasi experimental method (Quasi Eksperiment). to obtain an overview of the improvement of students\u27 learning outcomes. The results of this study are that HOTS-based learning evaluation using kahoot is effective enough to improve students\u27 higher order thinking skills based on the N-gain scores of the experimental and control classes. The control class with an average value of 0.26 with a low category, then interpreted with a value of 26.77% with a description of less effective. In the experimental class with an average value of 64 with moderate criteria and interpreted by obtaining an average value of 64% with a fairly effective category. Evaluation of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) based learning using kahoot is quite effective.Evaluasi pembelajaran merupakan bagian terpenting dalam pembelajaran, karena untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi yang telah disampaikan. Evaluasi pembelajaran masih manual dengan menggunakan kertas dan belum menggunakan platfrom digital, seperti kahoot. Dan soal-soal yang disajikan pada saat evaluasi pembelajaran belum berbasis HOTS sehingga membuat peserta didik belum terbiasa dalam berpikir tingkat tinggi (Critical Thinking). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik pada kelas VI SD 343 Kubangan Tompek dan adanya inovasi dalam evaluasi pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah adalah quasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Metode eksperimen kuasi (Quasi Eksperiment). untuk memperoleh gambaran peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik.Kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok  kontrol tidak dipilih secara acak. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa evaluasi pembelajaran berbasis HOTS menggunakan kahoot cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik berdasarkan pada nilai N-gain kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Kelas kontrol dengan nilai rata-rata 0,26 dengan kategori rendah, kemudian ditafsirkan dengan nilai 26,77% dengan keterangan kurang efektif. Pada kelas eksperimen dengan nilai rata-rata 64 dengan kriteria sedang dan ditafsirkan dengan memperoleh nilai rata-rata 64% dengan kategori cukup efektif.     EVALUASI PENGELOLAAN DANA KIP KULIAH: PERAN INSPEKTORAT JENDERAL DALAM MEWUJUDKAN AKUNTABILITAS DI PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

    Program Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah (KIP-K) bertujuan untuk meningkatkan akses dan pemerataan kesempatan pendidikan tinggi bagi masyarakat Indonesia, khususnya bagi mereka yang berasal dari keluarga kurang mampu. Upaya pencegahan korupsi dan peningkatan akuntabilitas serta transparansi menjadi fokus utama dalam pengelolaan dana KIP Kuliah. Kerjasama antara perguruan tinggi, Kementerian Pendidikan, dan Kementerian Keuangan juga diidentifikasi sebagai kunci keberhasilan program. Tantangan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan program ini meliputi perbedaan sistem informasi dan keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, yang memerlukan upaya harmonisasi dan peningkatan kapasitas. Dengan data yang akurat dan sistem pengawasan yang efektif, diharapkan KIP Kuliah dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen, penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara objektif dan professional judgement penulis dengan menggunakan data penggunaan KIP-K tahun anggaran 2023. Sampel penelitian dilakukan terhadap 20 Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Negeri (PTKN) yang diambil secara acak (random). Penelitian mengungkap Ketersediaan Anggaran, jumlah Penerima KIP Kuliah, alokasikan kuota khusus untuk mahasiswa yang berasal dari daerah 3T, hasil penelitian pada 5 (lima) unit eselon satu Kemenag, manfaat Dana KIP-K, Dampak KIP Kuliah terhadap peningkatan prestasi penerima bantuan, permasalahan pada pelaksanaan program KIP-K, keberhasilan dari program KIP-K, penelitian kenaikan IPK penerima dan survei Kepuasan Program

    This study was conducted to find concrete innovations in the leadership of the madrasah principal in improving the quality of education at MTs N 9 Bantul. The quality of education is the main part that is applied in Islamic educational institutions in order to achieve good quality education. The madrasah principal is the main driver in the madrasah in achieving the goal of quality education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research type. Data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation with the Madrasah Principal and the Deputy Madrasah Principal for student affairs. The results of this study indicate that the innovation of the madrasah principal\u27s leadership in improving the quality of education in the 5.0 era can be found in the implementation of nine (9) superior programs, namely (1) Madrasah Achievement Activities (GSM) (2) Masamba Literacy Movement (GLM) (3) Sadam (Sadar Adiwijaya Masamba), (4) ODOT (One Day One Thousand), (5) PUTIH (Publication Tiada Henti) (6) Saturday Masemba Dhikr (SMB) (7) JUMARIA (Cheerful Friday) (8) FORSIMBA ( Synergy Forum) Committee , Community, and Masemba ) (9) Parent, Teacher and Student Study Group (PGS) . Furthermore, the second finding is the existence of partnerships and collaborations that will facilitate cooperation both within the internal and external scope of the organization to support the ongoing running of the madrasah program. Then, the third finding is the empowerment of educators and education personnel so that students will find it easier to understand the material given by students.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk ditemukan secara konkrit inovasi kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di MTs N 9 Bantul. Mutu pendidikan menjadi bagian yang utama yang diterapkan dalam lembaga pendidikan islam agar bisa kualitas pendidikan yang baik. Kepala madrasah sebagai penggerak utama dalam madrasah mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi bersama Kepala Madrasah dan Wakil Kepala Madrasah bagian kesiswaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa inovasi kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di era 5.0 dapat ditemukan dengan terselenggaranya sembilan (9) program unggulan  yaitu (1) Giat Prestasi Madrasah (GSM) (2) Gerakan Literasi Masamba  (GLM) (3) Sadam (Sadar Adiwijaya Masamba), (4)  ODOT (One Day One Thousand), (5) PUTIH (Publikasi Tiada Henti)  (6) Sabtu Masemba Berdzikir (SMB) (7) JUMARIA (Jumat Ceria) (8) FORSIMBA (Forum Sinergi Komite, Masyarakat, dan Masemba) (9)  Pengajian Orang Tua, Guru dan Siswa (PGS). Selanjutnya temuan kedua yaitu adanya kemitraan dan kolaborasi yang akan mempermudah kerjasama baik dalam lingkup internal maupun eksternal organisasi untuk mendukung jalannya keberlangsungan program madrasah.     Brand awareness is the primary foundation for building public trust in educational institutions. Despite being a crucial asset, not all schools have successfully built strong brand awareness like LPP Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Purwokerto. This study aims to describe LPP Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Purwokerto strategy in building brand awareness to foster public trust. Using a qualitative case study method through interviews, observation, and documentation, this study shows that LPP Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Purwokerto applies a structured Hierarchy of Effects model. At the cognitive stage, awareness is built through centralized digital and traditional marketing and strategic networking to instill brand knowledge. The affective stage is achieved by creating differentiation through the international curriculum (IB), engaging alumni, and building a positive narrative to foster liking and preference. Finally, the conative stage is realized through a pre-order system to manage high demand and measurable evaluations to encourage enrollment. As a result, this integrated strategy has proven effective in building brand awareness, leading to the formation of public trust in the school.Kesadaran merek (brand awareness) merupakan fondasi utama dalam membangun kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap lembaga pendidikan. Meskipun menjadi aset krusial, tidak semua sekolah berhasil membangun kesadaran merek yang kuat seperti LPP Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Purwokerto. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi LPP Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Purwokerto  dalam membangun kesadaran merek guna menumbuhkan kepercayaan publik. Menggunakan metode studi kasus kualitatif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa LPP Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Purwokerto menerapkan model Hirarki Efek yang terstruktur. Pada tahap kognitif, kesadaran dibangun melalui pemasaran digital dan tradisional yang terpusat serta jejaring strategis untuk menanamkan pengetahuan merek. Tahap afektif dicapai dengan menciptakan diferensiasi melalui kurikulum internasional (IB), melibatkan alumni, serta membangun narasi positif untuk menumbuhkan kesukaan dan preferensi. Terakhir, tahap konatif diwujudkan melalui sistem inden untuk mengelola permintaan tinggi dan evaluasi terukur untuk mendorong tindakan pendaftaran. Hasilnya, strategi yang terintegrasi ini terbukti efektif dalam membangun kesadaran merek yang berujung pada terbentuknya kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap sekolah

    POSITIVISM AS A NEW ERA IN PHILOSOPHY AND ITS INFLUENCE ON ISLAMIC SOCIAL STUDIES

    The influence of positivism is reflected in efforts to integrate empirical methods with normative religious values, creating a dialectical relationship between scientific rationality and the spirituality of revelation. This study employs a qualitative method with a library research approach by analyzing classical and contemporary works on positivist philosophy, sociology of religion, and Islamic social thought. Primary sources include philosophical texts from Comte, Durkheim, and Weber, while secondary data are drawn from modern Islamic academic literature discussing the epistemology of social science, such as works by Al-Attas, Arkoun, and Fazlur Rahman. The analysis uses a descriptive-analytical approach to explore the relationship between positivism and Islamic social science paradigms, particularly in terms of epistemology, methodology, and research ethics. The findings indicate that positivism has significantly contributed to the rationalization of social studies in Islam, particularly in the fields of economics, politics, and education, by emphasizing the importance of observation and empirical data. However, adopting positivism in its entirety risks neglecting the transcendental dimension that lies at the core of Islamic teachings. Therefore, an integrative approach is needed, one that combines scientific objectivity with theological values so that Islamic social science maintains its spiritual identity. Thus, this article argues that positivism can serve as a methodological inspiration for the development of Islamic social studies, provided it operates within a tawhidic epistemological framework that balances rationality and moral spirituality

    This study aims to examine the Qur’anic perspective on work ethics, focusing on three core values: amanah (trust and responsibility), istiqāmah (consistency), and ikhlāṣ (sincerity). Using a thematic exegesis (tafsīr maudhu‘ī) approach combined with a comprehensive literature review, this research identifies Qur’anic verses related to work (‘amal) and contextualizes them within contemporary discussions on the Islamic Work Ethic (IWE). The findings reveal that, in Islam, work is regarded as an integral form of worship that must be carried out with honesty, consistency, and moral integrity. The value of amanah plays a central role in fostering trust and loyalty within organizations, while istiqāmah ensures the sustainability of ethical conduct, and ikhlāṣ instills a transcendental motivation that elevates professional dedication beyond material goals. Furthermore, the study demonstrates that the application of Qur’anic values in professional and educational settings can enhance productivity, job satisfaction, and the development of an ethical and healthy organizational culture. Overall, the study concludes that the Qur’anic work ethic remains profoundly relevant in addressing the professional and moral challenges of the contemporary global era

    Background: The movement of refugees from Sudan to Chad is one of the global issues in the complex dynamics of the Middle East. News media plays a strategic role in shaping public understanding through discourse. Aims: This research aims to reveal the discourse strategy in Aljazeera.net\u27s news coverage of the Sudanese refugee crisis, based on Theo Van Leeuwen\u27s Critical Discourse Analysis. Methods: This research used a qualitative descriptive method. The data sources used in this research were news texts about the displacement of Sudanese people to Chad on Aljazeera.net, along with various supporting literature for analysis. The data collection techniques used are reading and note-taking methods. In addition, the data analysis technique involves data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results: The results of this study revealed that the news coverage is presented factually and fairly, following the exclusion and inclusion strategies, where these strategies help readers assess the quality of the news. Implications: This study implies that it provides readers with a deeper understanding of how news texts convey certain issues and can help policymakers understand media bias and highlight the importance of neutrality in reporting

    Background: In Japanese higher education, the integration of English through English-Medium Instruction (EMI) poses both opportunities and challenges for international students, particularly those from non-English-speaking backgrounds. Aims: This study explores the experiences of Indonesian students in using English for academic purposes in Japanese universities, focusing on their views, challenges, and adaptation strategies. Methods: Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with five Indonesian postgraduate students studying across diverse academic backgrounds in various universities in Japan. Document analysis was also conducted to support the interview data. Results: This study revealed that English is essential for accessing academic resources and engaging in international interactions. However, students still face challenges in pronunciation, academic writing, vocabulary, presentation norms, and expressing ideas confidently and clearly. They use various strategies such as self-directed learning, digital tools, peer interaction, and institutional support to adapt. Implications: The study highlights the need for more inclusive EMI policies and better language support services in Japanese universities. It also emphasises that language learning in EMI contexts is socially, culturally, and emotionally complex, requiring internal motivation, social interaction, and institutional responsiveness

    Problems of Religious Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Overcoming Student Delinquency at SMA Negeri 1 Popayato, Pohuwato Regency

    Delinquency is deviant behavior that disturbs the peace of others and oneself. Student delinquency is an expression of anxiety, worry, or mental pressure felt by students as a response to the influence of the surrounding environment. This study uses qualitative methods with descriptive methods. Qualitative research is to make it easier to find out about juvenile delinquency in SMA Negeri 1 Popayato. Data collection techniques in this study are interviews and observation techniques. The sources of informants in the study were the Principal, Guidance and Counseling Teachers, and Students. The results of the study showed the problems of religious guidance and counseling teachers in overcoming student delinquency that occurred in SMA Negeri 1 Popayato, Pohuwato Regency, which can be seen from several stages that have been carried out by the school, in this case, the Principal, vice principal, and guidance and counseling teachers. First, the mental attitude of adolescents should be strengthened so that they can face and solve their problems. In addition, it is essential to provide education that is not only limited to increasing knowledge and skills, but also includes mental education, personality formation, religious values, and morals. Next, adequate facilities should be provided, and an atmosphere should be created for the healthy development of adolescent personalities. In addition, discussion groups should be organized to provide opportunities for adolescents to express their views and opinions while providing positive direction. Finally, establish a training place that can be used to channel adolescent creativity, both for those involved in delinquent behavior and those who are not
