    Sacred symbols and hate speech: A forensic-pragmatic study of Panji Gumilang’s discourse

    Background: Hate speech targeting religious symbols in digital media has sparked complex legal and social debates. Public figures often disseminate ideological views that may violate religious norms and legal provisions. Aims: This study aims to identify the linguistic forms and pragmatic functions of directive and representative speech acts in Pandji Gumilang’s statements on the Zaytun Official YouTube channel, which were used as evidence in a finalised criminal case. Methods: A descriptive qualitative method was employed using a forensic pragmatic framework based on Searle\u27s speech act theory. Data were drawn from the Indramayu District Court Verdict No. 365/Pid.Sus/2023/PN.Idm using purposive sampling. The analysis focused on speech forms, communicative functions, and violations of Leech\u27s politeness maxims, specifically tact, agreement, modesty, and approbation. Results: The study found 12 speeches containing hate speech against religious symbols, consisting of four directive speeches and eight representative speeches. All data violates the principles of politeness, especially the maxims of wisdom, agreement, humility, and decency. Statements such as "Indonesia is a sacred land", "not the kalam of Allah", and "strange nasab descendants of the Prophet Saw. show the manipulation of language that functions as an ideological means and has a legal impact. Implications: Findings reveal that directive and representative speech acts serve as ideological tools undermining Islamic symbols and provoking legal action. This research highlights the utility of forensic pragmatics in examining how language functions as symbolic power and a medium for religion-based offences

    Analysis of Contemporary Mufassir\u27s Interpretation of Polygamy

    The focus of this research is to analyze contemporary interpreters\u27 interpretations of polygamy. The author utilizes a purely qualitative descriptive research approach through an interpretive literature study. Some contemporary commentators in Indonesia, such as Hasbi, believe that permission for polygamy is not forced except for people who really believe they can act fairly and avoid cheating, and if a wife is no longer able to fulfill her obligations as a wife, such as she is old or suffering from illness. According to Hamka, Surah al-Nisa verses 2, 3, and 4 have a close relationship. Hamka emphasized that this verse aims at monogamy, not polygamy, because, according to him, this verse is only a valuable lesson for its readers and is not to be done. Meanwhile, according to Wahbah, this verse discusses fair behavior and the prohibition of doing injustice to orphans and women if they are not able to give a dowry to an orphan, it is forbidden for him to practice polygamy

    This research aims to develop technology-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning media to enhance students\u27 skills at State Elementary School 3 Kampung Baru, Bandar Lampung City. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and student skill tests. The research results show that the technology-based learning media developed is effective in improving students\u27 understanding and skills in the subject of PAI. The main findings include: (1) a significant increase in the average student scores by 25% after using the media, (2) positive responses from teachers and students regarding the ease of use of the media, and (3) an increase in student learning motivation. The implications of this research highlight the importance of integrating technology into Islamic Religious Education (PAI) to create a more interactive and engaging learning experience. In addition, the findings provide practical contributions for teachers in designing innovative learning strategies that meet the needs of 21st-century students. This research also offers recommendations for schools and educational policymakers to support the availability of adequate technological facilities as well as continuous training for teachers to enhance their digital competence. Thus, the integration of technology in PAI not only functions as a learning aid but also as a means to foster 21st-century skills such as digital literacy, critical thinking, collaboration, and effective communication among students.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berbasis teknologi guna meningkatkan keterampilan siswa di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 3 Kampung Baru, Kota Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes keterampilan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang dikembangkan efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam mata pelajaran PAI. Temuan utama mencakup: (1) peningkatan signifikan nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 25% setelah menggunakan media, (2) respon positif dari guru dan siswa terhadap kemudahan penggunaan media, serta (3) peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran PAI untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan menarik.   Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Teknologi, Pendidikan Agama Islam, Keterampilan Siswa

    Character education is an integral part of the pesantren education system, emphasizing the development of students’ morals, ethics, and personal integrity. Ta\u27līm al-Muta\u27allim, as one of the classical texts studied in pesantren, teaches essential values such as sincerity in seeking knowledge, respect for teachers, diligence in learning, and proper manners in daily life. This study aims to examine the role of Ta\u27līm al-Muta\u27allim instruction in shaping the character of students at Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Sugio. A qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach was employed. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with the caregivers, teachers, and students, and documentation of the learning process. The data were analyzed inductively by referring to theories of character education and traditional Islamic learning. The findings reveal that the teaching of Ta\u27līm al-Muta\u27allim significantly contributes to character formation. The values presented in the book are not only delivered theoretically but also implemented in daily s tudent life through habitual practice and the exemplary conduct of the teachers. The emergence of character traits such as discipline, humility, respect for teachers, and strong learning motivation indicates the success of internalizing these values. Thus, Ta\u27līm al-Muta\u27allim serves as an essential medium for the sustainable and contextual internalization of character values in pesantren education.Pendidikan karakter merupakan bagian integral dari sistem pendidikan pesantren yang menekankan pada pembentukan akhlak, etika, dan kepribadian santri. Kitab Ta’līm al-Muta’allim sebagai salah satu kitab klasik yang diajarkan di lingkungan pesantren memuat nilai-nilai fundamental, seperti keikhlasan dalam menuntut ilmu, penghormatan kepada guru, kesungguhan dalam belajar, serta adab dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran pembelajaran kitab Ta’līm al-Muta’allim dalam membentuk karakter santri di Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Sugio. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan pengasuh, ustadz, dan santri, serta dokumentasi kegiatan pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan secara induktif dengan merujuk pada teori pendidikan karakter dan sistem pembelajaran di pesantren. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kitab Ta’līm al-Muta’allim memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter santri. Nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam kitab tidak hanya diajarkan secara teoritis, tetapi juga diterapkan melalui pembiasaan dan keteladanan para ustadz dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Terbentuknya karakter disiplin, rendah hati, hormat kepada guru, dan semangat belajar menjadi indikator keberhasilan internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter melalui pembelajaran kitab ini. Dengan demikian, kitab Ta’līm al-Muta’allim berperan penting sebagai media internalisasi pendidikan karakter secara kontekstual dan berkelanjutan dalam tradisi pendidikan pesantren

    PEDAGOGIC AND PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES IN S1 MATHEMATICS EDUCATION STUDENTS AS PROSPECTIVE HIGH SCHOOL MATHEMATICS EDUCATORS

    This study aims to identify the extent to which S1 Mathematics Education students have pedagogic and professional competencies that are in accordance with educator standards. Pedagogic and professional competencies are the two main components that must be possessed by prospective educators in order to carry out their duties optimally. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method with the research subject consisting of 110 students of the Mathematics Education Study Program consisting of 3 classes with different lecturers.  The data collection technique used in this study is in the form of a test, the test used is in the form of an objective test in the form of multiple choice to gain a deep understanding of pedagogic and professional competence. The results of this study were obtained, the pedagogic competence of S1 students of the mathematics education study program as prospective educators was 80.12 with a good category. The highest score for students\u27 pedagogic competence is found in the aspects of classroom management and effective assessment. Meanwhile, the professional competency score of S1 students of the mathematics education study program as prospective educators is 80.42 with a good category. The highest score for student professional competence is found in indicators using algebraic concepts and using patterns and functions with very good scores. The conclusion of this study is that the pedagogic and professional competence in S1 mathematics education students as prospective educators is classified as a good category. &nbsp

    CANVA SEBAGAI MEDIA INOVATIF DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SHOROF

    The digital transformation in education has fostered the development of interactive learning media tailored to 21st-century student needs. One subject that requires innovative approaches is Shorof in Arabic, often seen as abstract and difficult by students in elementary Islamic schools. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Canva-based educational games in improving Shorof learning outcomes at MIN 3 Rokan Hulu. Using a quantitative quasi-experimental design, the study involved two groups of fifth-grade students: one experimental (Canva) and one control (traditional methods). Data were collected through pre-tests, post-tests, observations, and questionnaires. Results showed a significant improvement in the experimental group’s post-test scores, with a 20.25-point increase compared to 8.75 in the control group (t-test p = 0.003 < 0.05). Observations and surveys also indicated greater engagement and motivation. In conclusion, Canva-based game media significantly enhance Shorof learning, aligning well with the Merdeka Curriculum\u27s digital learning goals.Transformasi digital dalam pendidikan mendorong pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa abad ke-21. Salah satu mata pelajaran yang membutuhkan pendekatan inovatif adalah Shorof dalam bahasa Arab, yang sering dianggap abstrak dan sulit oleh siswa sekolah dasar Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas permainan edukatif berbasis Canva dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Shorof di MIN 3 Rokan Hulu. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi-eksperimen, melibatkan dua kelompok siswa kelas V: kelompok eksperimen (menggunakan Canva) dan kelompok kontrol (metode konvensional). Pengumpulan data d  ilakukan melalui pre-test, post-test, observasi kelas, dan angket siswa. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan skor post-test kelompok eksperimen (rata-rata naik 20,25 poin) dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (8,75 poin), dengan nilai p = 0,003 < 0,05. Observasi dan angket juga menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa. Kesimpulannya, media permainan berbasis Canva efektif mendukung pembelajaran Shorof secara lebih interaktif dan relevan dalam konteks Kurikulum Merdeka

    This study aims to analyse the effect of using interactive learning applications and Belajar.id accounts on improving student motivation, as well as to examine how the integration of both can shape adaptive and sustainable learning motivation in the context of 21st-century digital learning. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The research subjects are students from Class IX A of SMP Plus Miftahul Falah who actively use the Belajar.id account and interactive learning applications in their learning activities. The instrument used is a closed-ended questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistical tests, normality tests, and multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that both the use of interactive learning applications (X₁) and the utilisation of the Belajar.id account (X₂) have a significant influence on students\u27 learning motivation (Y). Variable X₁ contributed 34.2% to Y, with a regression coefficient of 0.804 (p < 0.05), while variable X₂ contributed a larger 37.8%, with a regression coefficient of 0.582 (p < 0.05) and a beta value of 0.615. These findings indicate that the integration of digital technology in the learning process can significantly enhance students\u27 learning motivation. Therefore, the use of digital-based learning technologies such as interactive applications and Belajar.id accounts needs to be continuously developed to support a more effective, engaging, and relevant learning transformation in line with the demands of education in the digital age

    PENGARUH KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL GURU DAN SARANA PRASARANA TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK DI PONDOK PESANTREN MODERN NURUL IKHLAS

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi profesional guru dan sarana prasarana terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik di Pondok Pesantren Modern Nurul Ikhlas. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya motivasi belajar sebagai faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan proses pendidikan. Kompetensi profesional guru menjadi tolok ukur kualitas pengajaran, sementara sarana prasarana memberikan dukungan fisik dan kenyamanan yang turut memengaruhi semangat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan populasi sebanyak 308 peserta didik, dan sampel sebanyak 100 orang yang dipilih melalui teknik Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dengan skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kompetensi profesional guru terhadap motivasi belajar dengan nilai signifikansi 0.001 dan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.587. Sarana prasarana juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar dengan nilai signifikansi 0.003 dan koefisien korelasi 0.563. Uji F menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0.003, yang mengindikasikan bahwa kedua variabel independen secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa baik kompetensi guru maupun sarana prasarana secara parsial dan simultan memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik

    MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN MELALUI PEMANFAATAN LIMBAH

    Penelitian ini mengkaji pemanfaatan limbah kertas daun dan plastik (KDP) dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun di Taman Kanak-Kanak Buah Hati Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dirancang untuk memperbaiki proses dan hasil belajar siswa melalui tindakan pembelajaran yang inovatif. Sebelum intervensi KDP, kreativitas anak-anak sebagian besar berada pada kategori Belum Berkembang (BB) dan Mulai Berkembang (MB). Pada tahap prasiklus, anak-anak menunjukkan keterbatasan dalam menghasilkan bentuk, rasa ingin tahu, dan kemampuan mencipta secara mandiri. Implementasi KDP dalam pembelajaran menunjukkan dampak positif pada kreativitas anak-anak. Pada Siklus I, meskipun ada peningkatan, anak-anak masih membutuhkan bantuan dalam berkarya. Namun, pada Siklus II, sebagian besar anak berada dalam kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH) dan Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB). Teknik seperti semprotan warna dan jiplak daun lebih efektif dalam merangsang kreativitas dibandingkan teknik sebelumnya. Hasil akhir menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan KDP secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam menghasilkan bentuk, rasa ingin tahu, dan kemandirian dalam proses kreatif.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan nilai-nilai agama dan moral anak usia dini di TK Negeri Pembina Muaro Jambi. Berdasarkan data observasi di TK Negeri Pembina Muaro Jambi ditemukan bahwa masih rendahnya penerapan nilai-nilai agama dan moral pada diri anak. Permasalahan belum berkembangnya nilai-nilai agama dan moral secara optimal pada diri anak yang disebabkan model pembelajaran konvensional yang masih digunakan, berpusat pada guru dengan metode ceramah yang monoton dan membosankan, anak-anak hanya sekedar dengar tetapi tidak berkesan atau bermakna yang kemudian berpengaruh pada hasil belajar rendah.Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Model dari Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa perkembangan Nilai-Nilai Moral dan Agama anak didik melalui metode demontrasi dengan video pembelajaran, karena jumlah anak didik yang berkembang sangat baik meningkat menjadi 10 anak yang tadinya hanya 2 anak pada siklus I. Dari siklus I dan Siklus II ini ternyata standar pencapaian yang di targetkan yaitu 80 % sudah tercapai untuk anak didik dengan perkembangan sesuai harapan hingga berkembang sangat baik.
