    Social Loafing Level of Class X Students at Senior High School 8 Semarang

    This research aims to determine the level of social loafing of class X students at SMA N 8 Semarang. Looking at the level of activity of class X students during the process of providing Classical Tutoring services by the guidance and counseling teacher. When the group discussion process took place there were only a few students who were actively discussing. So the researcher feels that there is a need for research regarding the level of social loafing in class X students. This research is quantitative descriptive research. The sampling technique in this research is simple random sampling. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire which contains statements stating the object to be expressed. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this research are that the level of social laziness of class X students at SMA Negeri 8 Semarang on average has a moderate level of social loafing

    Keefektifan Konseling Kelompok Teknik Self-Instructional untuk Meningkatkan Efikasi Diri Akademik Menghadapi Penilaian Akhir Semester

    The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of group counseling with self-instructional techniques in increasing academic self-efficacy in facing the Final Semester Assessment. The research method used is a quantitative experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The sample consisted of six students from class X at SMKN 5 Madiun who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used is an academic self-efficacy scale with a Likert scale model. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and parametric statistical tests, namely the paired sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that there is a difference between the pretest and posttest scores. The level of academic self-efficacy from the pretest average score of 66.50 increased to 90.00 on the results of the posttest average score. Based on the paired sample t-test, a significance value (sig.2-tailed) of 0.000 is obtained, which results indicate less than a probability of 0.05. So it can be concluded that group counseling with self-instructional techniques is effective in increasing academic self-efficacy in dealing with the Final Semester Assessment in class X students of SMKN 5 Madiun

    Pengaruh Konsep Diri Terhadap Penyesuaian Diri Siswa Di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Jambi

    This study aims to discribe the level of self concept, the level of self adjustment and the influenceof self concept on student self adjustment at SMA Negeri 3 Jambi City. The study used a quantitative research with expost-facto method. The population this study were phase F class student of SMA Negeri 3 Jambi City with a sample of size 59 student taken from purposive technique. The data collection tool used is questionnaire with a likert scale and data analysis used through the percentage test and simple regression test. The result showed that the level of student self concept was at low level 36%, the level of student self adjustment was at low level of 32% and showed that self concept had significant effect on student self adjustment of 26,9% which was at a fairly strong level

    Ketika keterbatasan emosi, intelektual, sosial, atau fisik seorang anak menghalangi perkembangan normalnya, kita mengatakan bahwa anak tersebut mempunyai kebutuhan khusus. Mengingat kekurangan ini, penelitian yang mengkaji teknik pengasuhan untuk anak berkebutuhan khusus, elemen penerimaan orang tua, dan variabel yang berkontribusi terhadap penerimaan orang tua sangat diperlukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Sikap penerimaan orang tua terhadap anaknya yang berkebutuhan khusus menjadi fokus penelitian ini. Peneliti dalam penelitian ini mengandalkan bahan referensi yang diperoleh dari wawancara dengan orang tua anak berkebutuhan khusus untuk memastikan keaslian hasilnya. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode tematik, yang membantu mengidentifikasi tren dan kesimpulan penting terkait pengalaman dan taktik orang tua. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, orang tua sudah bisa menerima kondisi anaknya. Hal ini terlihat jika melihat variabel dan karakteristik penerimaan orang tua terhadap anak berkebutuhan khusus. Untuk menjamin orang tua dapat menunaikan kewajiban dan memenuhi hak-hak anaknya, ketiga subjek orang tua telah menerapkan berbagai strategi dalam menangani dan mengasuh anak berkebutuhan khusus, khususnya di bidang kesehatan, pendidikan, perlindungan, dan kebutuhan

    Melatih Academic Hardiness Melalui Petualangan: Dampak Adventure Based Counseling pada Siswa

    The learning problem of students who are active in various activities makes some students feel less responsive to facing new learning or activities to support the continuity of the learning process. The point that researchers see is the phenomenon of low academic hardiness in students. The aim of this research is to determine the impact of the Adventure Based Counseling (ABC) technical group counseling service to increase students' academic hardiness. The research method used was pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest design model. The research subjects were 6 students using purposive sampling with existing criteria for subjects ranging from a low score of 28-56. This research uses the academic hardiness scale instrument. Data analysis used the Wilxocon test with a normality test and homogeneity test carried out first. Result of thi research is there is a difference in the pretest score and posttest score so it can be concluded that advnture based counseling technique group counseling services are effective in increasing students' academic hardines

    Pengembangan dan Validitas Instrumen Perilaku Asertif Pada Siswa SMP

    Teenagers have a strong interest in being accepted by their peers, so some teenagers have difficulty behaving assertively. The aim of this research is to obtain an inventory that can be used to determine the level of assertive behavior in junior high school students. This research adapts the Gregory model instrument development steps which consist of defining tests, selecting scales, constructing items, testing items, revising, and developing norms. The instrument was developed from Alberti and Emmons' theory which reveals that aspects of assertive behavior are the ability to do something according to one's abilities, express oneself, defend oneself, express opinions and respect the rights of others. The assessment of the instrument developed was carried out based on input from two experts and trials carried out on 137 students in the city of Yogyakarta. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively based on expert input and quantitatively to test the validity and reliability of the instrument using the RASCH model. This research produces an inventory of assertive behavior that has been declared appropriate by experts, with reliability in the sufficient category, the quality of statement items in the special category and statement items declared to have model fit. It is hoped that the inventory developed can be used by guidance and counseling teachers in identifying students' assertive behavior so that it can be used as consideration in preparing service programs

    Improving Career Planning Through Ikigai Concept Information Services for XI Students Class at SMAIT Nurul Ilmi Jambi City. Students have their own challenges during the process of determining their choice of major for further education. The core problem felt by students is that students do not know themselves, their potential, as well as their interests and talents. This condition become worse by the lack of guidance received, students are less likely to search for information about new and existing majors, do not carry out career planning, and not aware of the latest developments related to job prospects. If this problem is not addressed, it can have a negative impact on a student in the future, this is because career planning before making a career choice is very important and crucial. Ikigai is a life concept that leads individuals to formulate their life goals by discovering the four concepts that form ikigai consisting of passion, mission, profession and vocation. This research is a quasi-experimental quantitative research using a pre-test and post-test with non-equivalent control group design. The subjects in this study were 56 student from XI class. Therefore, the career choices taken should be in accordance with one's own desires and based on careful career planning.     Pengaruh Layanan Bimbingan Klasikal Terhadap Kemandirian Belajar Peserta Didik Kelas X SMAN 6 Semarang

     This research seeks to explore the impact of classical guidance services on the learning independence of tenth-grade students at SMAN 6 Semarang. Using a quantitative experimental method, this research examines whether there is a significant impact of classical guidance services on students' learning independence. The study involved a sample of 43 students selected through simple random sampling. Data was collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire assessing learning independence. The experimental design included a one-group pretest-posttest approach. Results showed that prior to the classical guidance intervention, 79.1% of students exhibited low learning independence. Post-intervention, there was a notable improvement, with 20.9% of students reaching a moderate level. The paired sample t-test indicated a significant difference in learning independence before and after the intervention (sig = 0.000 < 0.05). Results of the paired sample t-test analysis revealed a significant positive impact of classical guidance services on learning independence. Additionally, the calculation of a normalized gain score of 0.72 indicates that classical guidance services are effective in enhancing students' learning independence. This study supports previous research indicating that classical guidance services effectively increase students' motivation, concentration, and self-confidence. In conclusion, classical guidance services contribute significantly to developing students' potential and achieving developmental tasks, particularly in fostering independent learning within the school environment

    Urgensi Konselor Sebaya dalam Menginternalisasikan Nilai-nilai Moderasi Beragama

    The diversity of ethnicity, religion, and race in Indonesia presents potential challenges in today's society. There is a possibility that the millennial and Gen Z generations may not fully grasp the importance of moderation in religious values. The urgency of peer counselors in internalizing religious moderation could be one approach to instilling values such as tolerance, thus averting triggers for conflict. The purpose of this writing is to highlight the importance of peer counselors in internalizing religious moderation values. This study adopts a literature review method, specifically a library research approach, where relevant literature indexed by Google Scholar within the last five years (2019-2024) is examined. The findings reveal that peer counselors play a crucial role in internalizing religious moderation values. By doing so, they contribute to conflict prevention, promote tolerance, and mitigate discrimination based on differing opinions or religious beliefs. Peer counselors internalizing religious moderation values represent a preventive measure against issues within religious moderation.

    Konseling Behavioral Teknik Self-Management untuk Meningkatkan Penyesuaian Diri pada Siswa

    The problem in this study is the lack of self-adjustment in first year students at public junior high schools. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of individual counseling with a behavioral approach to self-management techniques to improve self-adjustment in first-year students at state junior high schools. The experimental research design used in this study was Single Subject Research (SSR) with a single subject type (single subject design). The subjects of this study were two class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Kelapa Dua. Data collection techniques used the Adjustment Inventory for School Students (AISS) instrument and interviews. The results showed that there was an increase in self-adjustment to students who were given individual counseling services using a behavioral approach to self-management techniques to improve self-adjustment in first-year students at state junior high schools. This is evidenced by the changes in the two subjects after the implementation of counseling. It can be concluded that individual counseling with a behavioral approach to self-management techniques is effective in improving self-adjustment in first-year students at public junior high schools. &nbsp
