Peran Regulasi Emosi dan Perhatian Orang Tua pada Social Problem-Solving Remaja yang Bersekolah Asrama
THE ROLE OF EMOTION REGULATION AND PARENTAL ATTENTION ON SOCIAL PROBLEM-SOLVING OF BOARDING SCHOOL'S ADOLESCENT. This study aimed to know the correlation of emotion regulation and parental attention to social problem solving of boarding school adolescents. The research subjects were 65 students of SMAN CMBBS who were selected by simple random sampling method. The instruments used are social problem-solving scale, emotion regulation scale, and parental attention scale. Data were analyzed by multiple regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between emotion regulation and parental attention with social problem solving for SMAN CMBBS adolescents, with p = 0.00 (R = 0.699). Partial correlation test proves that there is a significant correlation between emotional regulation and social problem solving for SMAN CMBBS adolescents (p = 0.00; rx1y = 0.549). Partial correlation also proves that there is a significant relationship of parental attention to social problem solving for adolescent CMBBS (p = 0.032; rx2y = 0.268). This study concludes that there is a significant correlation between emotion regulation and parental attention to social problem solving of SMAN CMBBS adolescents
Konseling Daring bagi Mahasiswa Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta, Indonesia
ONLINE COUNSELING FOR STUDENTS OF UNIVERSITAS SEBELAS MARET, SURAKARTA, INDONESIA. The industrial revolution 4.0 resulted in disruptive changes that affected human life. Likewise, the students of Sebelas Maret University (UNS) in fulfilling their academic, personal, social, and career development assignments, also often demanded independence in this disruption era. As the third rank university in Indonesia, according to UniRank 4ICU rating agency, UNS needs to respond to this in order to be able to facilitate the task of developing students from the psychological side. Facilitation that can be done is by providing online counseling services for students. This study aims to describe the level of UNS student needs as initial data in compiling online counseling services. The subjects of this study were 544 students from ten faculties in the UNS that were randomly determined. The results of the analysis showed that the needs of student counseling services included six problem areas namely: personal-social (81%), academic (76%), career (82%), premarital (75%), traumatic (71%), and multicultural (81 %). The results of this study indicate that the level of need for online counseling services for UNS students is quite high. These results need to be followed up with the development of an android-based online counseling service platform in order to improve the quality of psychological services of UNS students

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF CAREER INFORMATION SERVICES TO IMPROVE CAREER PLANNING FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. High School Education aims to prepare students who will continue their education to a higher level, while preparing students who will work immediately if they have completed their education in high school. Experiencee in the field shows that there are still many students who are confused about choosing the department (study program) to be entered, especially for high school students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of information services to improve career planning for students of SMA Negeri 1 Nglames. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Nglames with pre-experimental design research design. Data collection techniques use a psychological scale that is the scale of career planning. Data analysis techniques using t-test. The results showed effective information services to improve career planning proved after a hypothetical test with the t-test analysis technique of the value of asympsig (2-tailed)/asympiotic significance 0.000, it can be concluded that information services to improve career planning of students of SMA Negeri 1 Nglames Kabupaten Madiun

This study is aimed to study hypothetically about Solution-Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) application in family and some example cases of family counseling that focused on solution. The SFBC is a post-modern counseling approach that is developed in 1982 by Insoo Kim Berg and De Shazer. SFBC is an approach based on counselee strength and potency, and focused to the solution and future. In solving the problem, SFBC families more focus on nowadays problems and immediately move to build solution to repair family situation. GROUP GUIDANCE SERVICES WITH A COLLABORATIVE APPROACH TO IMPROVE CAREER PLANNING ABILITY IN VOCATIONAL STUDENTS. This study aims to improve career planning through Guidance Groups in AP-1 Class XI Students of 29 Jakarta Vocational School Odd Semester 2018/2019 Academic Year. After analyzing can be found more deeply, two factors can because, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors are the factors related to the guidance teacher as the implementer of counseling, including the skills and attitudes of the counselor. Guiding skills are the main factor in the success of counseling at school. External factors are factors that come from outside the supervise of the teacher, including the principal's policies, and students' knowledge and understanding of counseling. The problem examined in this study is how to improve the material guidance, service of career and to plan through group guidance methods can improve students' communication skills as a variable y while consulting service guidance as a variable x. Communication skills improvement was measured through questionnaires that contained interest in counseling, counseling, understanding of BK, trust in BK and attitudes towards counseling stating that students' interest in counseling would increase through group guidance methods arranged according to the sequence of student interests that could be verified

IMPROVING PROSOCIAL BEHAVIOR OF STUDENTS THROUGH PEER COUNSELING BASED ON LIFE SKILLS. This study aims to improve students’ prosocial behavior through life skills-based peer counseling. The research method was used experimentally, the design of the pretest-posttest control group involving one counselor as a peer counseling program supervisor, five students as peer counselors, and ten students as the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group used base life skills, while the control group did not use base life skills. The results of this study indicate that students who receive assistance from life skills-based peer counseling prove to be more effective than students who get help from conventional peer counseling

EFFECTIVENESS OF COGNITIVE BEHAVIOR COUNSELING GROUP TO INCREASE THE POSITIVE SELF CONCEPT OF MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS. This study aims to test the effectiveness of counseling cognitive behavior group to improve the positive self-concept of students in junior high. This research uses a pre-experimental pretest type posttest one-group design. The data analysis used is paired test of T-test, to see the change of positive self-concept level in the experimental group between pretest and posttest by looking at t-table price at degrees of freedom (dk), that is the magnitude is N-1, significant α = 0,05 (95%) then got t-table. = 1.782 assuming if t count> t-table then Ha “received.” The results of data analysis of the responses of respondents about positive self-concept show positive self-concept students before intervention is in the category of being, and there is still a low category of 13 respondents. As for after the treatment, based on the posttest results, indicate the criteria of self-concept positive students, no one is in a low category. From the test result using T-Test, it is proved that counseling group of cognitive behavior is effective to improve the positive self-concept of junior high school students, because the value of t count> t table (7.597> 1.782), then the hypothesis that the writer proposed in the form of alternative hypothesis (Ha) the effectiveness of counseling cognitive behavior group to improve the positive self-concept of junior high school students, Ha “accepted”
“It is Important to Prepare Ourselves for the Future Career”: A Study of Indonesian Student’s Self-Directed Experience on Career Exploration
Lack of career exploration leads to career indecisiveness among Indonesian high school students. According to some studies, successful career exploration is determined by students’ initiative. However, no consistent answer about factors that make the students self-directedly engage in career exploration. This study is aimed to explore student’s self-directedness during the career exploration, including the factors that encourage student’s career exploratory behavior. This single case study used semi-structured interview and document analysis to investigate the experience of one Indonesian high school student. Two themes emerged from the data: involvement factor in career exploration, which determined by internal and external influence, and qualities of self-directedness, which is reflected by the employment of strategies and self-awareness. Recommendation for parents and educators to provide exposure to various activities, explicit teaching of self-directed learning and related skills is also essential to build students’ initiative in career exploration
Kemanjuran Strategi Mind-Mapping untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif dalam Pengambilan Keputusan Karier Siswa
THE EFFECTIVENESS OF MIND-MAPPING STRATEGY TO IMPROVE CREATIVE THINKING SKILLS IN STUDENT CAREER DECISION MAKING. The disruptive era in industrial revolution 4.0 is vital for students. In this era, students need creative thinking skills, especially in making career decisions. The Mind Mapping strategy is the right choice to train students' creative thinking skills. This creative thinking skills training is intended for students of Malang State High School Laboratory, class XII MIPA, IPS, IBB, and ICP. The expected goal is to increase the creative thinking skills of Malang State University High School Laboratory students in their career decision making. Based on the results of the study showed that creative thinking skills in career decision making before and after being trained with mind-mapping strategies, there was a significant increase. The Wilcoxon test results were Z = 4,644 with a significance of 0,000. That is, there are significant differences in creative thinking skills in student career decision making before and after being trained with mind-mapping strategies
Pengembangan Model Intervensi Dini bagi Anak Berperilaku Mengganggu (Disruptive Behavior) pada PAUD di Desa Menayu, Kabupaten Magelang
DEVELOPMENT OF THE EARLY INTERVENTION MODEL FOR CHILDREN DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR IN PAUD OF MENAYU, MAGELANG REGENCY. Children with all potential are the next generation that needs to be stimulated according to their stages and characteristics. Disruptive behavior in children is a negative behavior that is harmful to themselves and others. Children's internal and external factors cause the formation of disruptive behavior. This study aims to find out the profile of disturbing child behavior and the formulation of early childhood intervention models that interfere with behavior. Data collection in this study uses observation and Focus Group Discussion. Observations are made on children using the "time sampling" or "sampling interval" approach, and the FGD is imposed on PAUD educators. The research method uses research and development approaches. The research subjects were 50 children and 10 PAUD educators. The results of research on profiles of disturbing behavior of children indicate: (1) fighting 54%; (2) grabbing friends toys 60%; (3) do not want to sit quietly (walk) 54%; (4) screaming and crying 48%; and (5) do not want to be left by parents / caregivers 40%. Early childhood intervention models that interfere with behavior can be used by educators (formal, non-formal, and informal) in giving treatment to children who show disturbing behavior. Implementation of appropriate early interventions can optimize all potential children
