Get PDFIn this paper we try to give a general overview of the concept of creativity, beyond the common knowledge of the subject and the confusions or generalizations that usually occur in its understanding. To do this, a review and comparison of different relevant investigations for this work was used. It was concluded that creativity is a factor of great importance for the development of the human being on a personal and social level.En el presente trabajo se intenta dar un panorama general del concepto de creatividad, más allá del conocimiento común del tema y las confusiones o generalizaciones que se suelen dar en su entendimiento. Para ello se recurrió a hacer una revisión y comparación de diferentes investigaciones de relevancia para este trabajo. La Orientación a la Dominancia Social: una invariante psicológica en la legitimación de las filosofías de desigualdad social
Get PDFDifferent theoretical approaches throughout history have tried to explain why societies establish ideologies that think intergroup relationships as unequal and hierarchical, and why it is accepted by individuals. Among the perspectives that deepened these philosophies of inequality are: functionalism and Marxism. Both visions are incomplete and focus on top-down models (thinking about the dynamics of society from top to bottom). At the same time different psychological theories, such as the theory of social identity, ideological cultural theory, the theory of system justification and the theory of realistic conflict, began to investigate the psychological factor in adherence to an ideology, turning the focus to bottom-up models. In recent years, the theory of social dominance, incorporates contributions from the aforementioned the aforementioned theories, and postulates that there is a desire of individuals to establish and maintain social hierarchies, through the subordination of certain groups to others. Although this phenomenon has been studied in different countries empirically, there is no evidence of works in Spanish that have carried out a comprehensive theoretical review. That is why the objective of this work will be to carry out a theoretical review on the SDT.Distintos enfoques teóricos a lo largo de la historia han intentado explicar por qué las sociedades establecen ideologías que piensen las relaciones intergrupales como desiguales y jerárquicas, y por qué es aceptado por los individuos. Entre las perspectivas que ahondaron estas filosofías de la desigualdad se encuentran: el funcionalismo y el marxismo. Ambas visiones son incompletas y se centran en modelos top-down (pensando la dinámica de la sociedad de arriba hacia abajo). A la vez distintas teorías psicológicas, como la teoría de la identidad social, la teoría cultural ideológica, la teoría de la justificación del sistema y la teoría del conflicto realista, empezaron a investigar el factor psicológico en la adhesión a una ideología, virando los el foco hacia modelos bottom up. En los últimos años, la teoría de la dominancia social incorpora aportes de las teorías mencionadas y postula que existe un deseo de los individuos por instaurar y mantener jerarquías sociales, por medio de la subordinación de ciertos grupos a otros. Si bien este fenómeno se ha estudiado en distintos países de manera empírica, no se evidencian trabajos en español que hayan realizado una revisión teórica exhaustiva. Religiosidad y espiritualidad en el marco del modelo de los cinco factores de la personalidad
Get PDFAlthough the link between spirituality and personality traits has been intensely researched in the academic literature in recent years -particularly within the five-factor personality model and theory-, there are no review articles that allow summarizing the state of the art in such relationship. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to review studies analyzing the numinous constructs related to individual differences by means of a systematic review of the bibliography found in the PsycInfo, ERIC, Pubmed, CAIRN, CLASS, Scielo, Dialnet, Lilacs, and Redalyc databases. According to such review, although results show considerable disparity, there have been reported positive associations between said constructs and openness, responsibility, extroversion, and agreeableness as well as negative associations with neuroiticism. It is concluded that the discrepancy in the results would be due to to the multiplicity of dissimilar psychological techniques used to assess spirituality and religiosity.A pesar de que el vínculo entre la espiritualidad y los rasgos de la personalidad fue intensamente indagado en la literatura académica en los últimos años -particularmente en el marco del modelo y la teoría de los cinco factores de la personalidad, no existen trabajos de revisión que permitan sintetizar el estado del arte respecto de esta relación. Por este motivo, el propósito del presente trabajo es revisar los estudios que se proponen indagar los constructos numinosos en atención a las diferencias individuales a partir de una revisión sistemática de la bibliografía en las bases de datos PsycInfo, ERIC, Pubmed, CAIRN, CLASE, Scielo, Dialnet, Lilacs y Redalyc. De acuerdo con la revisión, si bien existe una considerable disparidad de resultados, generalmente se han reportado asociaciones positivas entre estos constructos y la apertura, la responsabilidad, la extroversión, y la amabilidad, y negativas con el neuroiticismo. Se concluye que la discrepancia en los resultados respondería a la multiplicidad de técnicas de evaluación disímiles empleadas para relevar la espiritualidad y la religiosidad

Get PDFIt cannot be clearly established how digital development will shape the economic and social relations of the interconnected world, especially in view of the imminent revolution coupled with the emergence of 5G networks and IoT. What is clear is that the values and pillars under which they are grounded are in open discussion and dispute. In this brief communication, taking the current commercial and technological confrontation between the United States and Huawei as a starting point, we will try to identify two confronted sociopolitical models that resolve in their own way the axis of relationships between individuals, governments and tech companies.In particular, it will delve into the recognition of two different scenarios. On the one hand, the West, where large companies such as Google and Facebook are systematically questioned by civil, judicial and political spheres, while they deal with important accusations of unfair competition and manipulation of private data; and, on the other hand, China, where the authorities «protect» their 800 million Internet users for the exploitation of a few companies in what can be understood as a dangerous model of vertical integration.No puede establecerse con claridad de qué manera el desarrollo digital moldeará las relaciones económicas y sociales del mundo interconectado, sobre todo en vistas a la inminente revolución aparejada a la aparición de redes 5G e internet de las cosas. Lo que está claro, es que los valores y pilares bajo los que se fundan se encuentran en abierta discusión y disputa. En esta breve comunicación, tomando como punto de partida el actual enfrentamiento comercial y tecnológico entre Estados Unidos y Huawei, se tratará de identificar y caracterizar dos modelos sociopolíticos enfrentados que resuelven a su manera el eje de relaciones entre individuos, gobiernos y compañías. En particular, se ahondará en el reconocimiento de dos escenarios diferentes. Por un lado, Occidente, donde pueden encontrarse a grandes compañías como Google y Facebook siendo interpeladas por actores del ámbito civil, judicial y político, y donde pesan importantes acusaciones de competencia desleal y manipulación de datos privados; y, por otro lado, China, donde las autoridades «protegen» a sus 800 millones de internautas para la explotación de unas pocas compañías en lo que puede entenderse como un peligroso modelo de integración vertical

Get PDFThis article explains explains some of the novel findings on female sexuality, ESR and prolonged–expanded orgasms, in comparison with the old Tantric and Taoist philosophies. The female orgasm and the female “peak experiences†have their proper recognition in the ancient literature of India, China and the Far East. Similar to Tantric Orgasms, ESR (Expanded Sexual Response) has been defined recently as: the capaciti able to attain long lasting and/or prolonged and/or multiple and/or sustained orgasms and/or status orgasmus that lasted longer and more intense than the classical orgasm patterns defined in the western literature. The West started to understand the real nature of female orgasm in the second half of twentieth century using objective and rational scientific investigation methods. This review presents detailed descriptions of these phenomena in the context of current clinical research.Este artículo explica algunos de los nuevos hallazgos sobre la sexualidad femenina, la Respuesta Sexual Expandida (RSE) y los orgasmos prolongados–ampliados en comparación con las descripciones de las antiguas filosofías tántricas y taoístas. El orgasmo femenino y las «experiencias pico» femeninas tienen su adecuado reconocimiento en la antigua literatura de la India, China y Extremo Oriente. Al igual que los orgasmos tántricos, la respuesta sexual expandida se definió recientemente como: la capacidad de alcanzar orgasmos de larga duración y/o prolongados y/o múltiples y/o sostenidos y/o status orgasmus que dura más tiempo y es más intenso que los patrones de orgasmos clásicos definidos en la literatura occidental. Hacia una poética comparativa de Buda, Kabir y Gurú Nanak desde una perspectiva democrática secular
Get PDFThis article shows how democratic secular values existed 2500 years ago with the Buddha and later during the saint tradition in India, around 14th and 15th century, with Kabir and Guru Nanak even before they were legalized and enshrined in the Indian constitution. No other nation or community in the world probably possesses such a complete consequential philosophy of holistic liberation as India does. And that in a multilingual, multicultural multi-religious Indian ethos there can be a potential dearth of interdisciplinary religious studies or comparative religious departments is in itself the greatest paradox of our times. This paper therefore shall explore the revolutionary emancipatory potential in their philosophical beliefs and egalitarian worldviews that made them popular amongst all sections of the society. It’s a known fact that all the three chose lives as commoners and used the popular language and dialect spoken of their times. All three questioned the efficacy of the Karma Kanda (Vedic rituals) and its hegemonic approach. Their ideological orientations elicit a scientific and an open democratic debate on true nature of things. The rationality, equality and liberal ideology preached by them stands in binary opposition to irrationality, inequality and orthodoxy prevalent. The most important rationale and achievement, extracted out of all the three philosophies, is the psychological freedom ushered to those disqualified and despised because of caste, class, gender and opening up newer vistas of investigation and inquiry that could protect the weak against the onslaught of the strong and mighty. The teachings of Buddha, Kabir, and Nanak move beyond community, religion, language, culture and nation to provide a universal panacea and a paradigm of hope.Este artículo muestra los valores seculares democráticos desarrollados hace 2500 años por el Buda y más tarde durante la tradición santa en la India, alrededor de los siglos XIV y XV, por Kabir y Guru Nanak incluso antes de que se legalizaran y consagraran en la constitución india. Ninguna otra nación o comunidad en el mundo tiene una filosofía tan completa de liberación holística como la de la India. Y que en una idiosincrasia como la de la India, que es multilingí¼e, multirreligiosa y multicultural, pudiera haber una potencial carencia de estudios religiosos interdisciplinarios o departamentos de religiones comparadas es en sí mismo la mayor paradoja de nuestro tiempo. Además, este documento explora el potencial emancipador y revolucionario de las creencias filosóficas y cosmovisiones igualitarias que los hicieron populares en todos los sectores de la sociedad. Se sabe que los tres eligieron vivir como personas comunes y usaron el lenguaje popular y el dialecto que se hablaba en ese momento. Los tres cuestionaron la eficacia del Karma Kanda (rituales védicos) y su enfoque hegemónico. Sus orientaciones ideológicas provocan un debate científico y un debate democrático abierto sobre la verdadera naturaleza de las cosas. La racionalidad, la igualdad, la fraternidad y la ideología liberal predicada por ellos se encuentran en oposición binaria a la irracionalidad, la desigualdad y la ortodoxia prevalecientes. El razonamiento y los logros más importantes, extraídos de las tres filosofías, es la libertad psicológica que eleva a los descalificados y despreciados, debido a cuestiones de casta, clase, género y la apertura de nuevas perspectivas de investigación e indagación que podrían proteger a los débiles contra la embestida de los fuertes y poderosos. Las enseñanzas de Buda, Kabir y Nanak van más allá de la comunidad, la religión, el idioma, la cultura y la nación para proporcionar una panacea universal y un paradigma de esperanza

¿Acceso denegado? : Capital cultural y acceso digital
Get PDFThe paper is a micro-level quantitative study of perceptions of social science students in India whether Free Wi-Fi has helped them learn better. It is commonly believed that digital resources are neutral about social inequalities. However, the survey finds that socio-cultural capital in the form of Caste, Gender, Language and Location has a negative impact on digital access even if it is free. The paper also instills hope as it finds that almost every student on the campus of a State University in Western Maharashtra has access to the Internet and majority of these students perceive that the digital access has improved their academic performance.Este artículo es un estudio cuantitativo a nivel micro de las percepciones de los estudiantes de ciencias sociales en la India sobre si el Wi-Fi gratuito les ha ayudado a aprender mejor. Se cree comúnmente que los recursos digitales son neutrales sobre las desigualdades sociales. Sin embargo, la encuesta revela que el capital sociocultural en forma de casta, género, idioma y ubicación tiene un impacto negativo en el acceso digital, incluso si es gratuito. El documento también infunde esperanza, ya que encuentra que casi todos los estudiantes en el campus de una Universidad Estatal en Western Maharashtra tienen acceso a Internet y la mayoría de estos estudiantes perciben que el acceso digital ha mejorado su rendimiento académico

Get PDFThis article describes how Donald Winnicott\u27s radical existential psychoanalytic understanding of transitional awareness and transitional relatedness intertwines both our personal psychology and our innermost experience of our own existential ontology. This article also addresses the ontological coincidences of our contemporary Existential Phenomenological understanding and Tantric Dzogchen praxis of the 8th and 9th century CE. The paper shows how 8th and 9th century CE Dzogchen Tantric understanding illuminates existentialist thinking through the transcendental phenomenology of Husserl and later ontological phenomenologist such as Heidegger and Merleau- Ponty. The paper also unfolds how these two modalities of existential phenomenological psychotherapy and tantric praxis converge in the experiential process of self liberation. The work also describes how in the patriarchal spiritual world, an experience of Being that is easily accessible has become something belonging to a few «enlightened ones» in the form of a corporate product or brand. Some of the most hidden secrets of Tantra is herein presented.Este artículo describe cómo la comprensión psicoanalítica existencial radical de Donald Winnicott de la conciencia de transición y la relación de transición entrelaza nuestra psicología personal y nuestra experiencia más profunda de nuestra propia ontología existencial. Este artículo también aborda las coincidencias ontológicas de nuestra comprensión fenomenológica existencial contemporánea y la praxis tántrica Dzogchen de los siglos VIII y IX.
