Ghost sign for 'Baker & Soars Ltd.', a company in the plumbing industry. Established in 1943 on Wellington Street in Leicester, Baker & Soars Ltd. is still in existence, servicing both the public and plumbing trade. Between 2003 and 2005, the building below this ghost sign was demolished and revealed a secondary sign reading 'Warehouse Manufacturer'. According to the 1941 Kelly's Directory, Baker & Soars Ltd. was located at 140 Wellington Street, but the 1954 directory lists the plumbers' merchants on 83 to 87 Wellington Steet and their store on 19 Waterloo Street
Encaustic memorial tiles in Rothley Church.
In 1897, the placing of a new window in the south aisle of Rothley Church led to an upsurge of more commemoration activity with the special commissioning of personalised tiles in the floor in front of this new window. In each case the central four tiles of the existing diamond pattern in the floor were removed, originally laid in the 1877 restoration. The empty space was filled with a single larger tile dedicated to the memory of a particular individual. Most tiles were commissioned in 1897, with a few coming later

A half-covered ghost sign for an unidentifled stout. The lettering is very similar to a sign that used to be on the corner of Devana Road and Halsbury Street, and may be for 'Holes' stout but this is not certain

Ghost sign for Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey. The sign depicts the whiskey's iconic black label and reads 'Jack Daniel's / Old No. 7 Brand / Tennessee Whiskey'. Along the sides, the sign reads 'Made in Tennessee' and 'Bottled at the Distillery' and along the bottom of the sign, 'Your friends at Jack Daniel's remind you to drink responsibly'. Along the top of the building, there is the faint silhouette of an Ansells sign.
Jack Daniel's is an American whiskey brand. Their distillery was founded in 1866 (or 1875 depending on historical record), but Jasper Newton Daniel, the founder, began distilling whiskey in 1864. Jack Daniel's is now one of the largest whiskey producers in the world
