    Ghost sign for the Bricklayer's Arms pub that reads 'The Bricklayers Arms / Cask Ales / Sky Sports and BT Sports / Live Entertainment / Karaoke'. The Bricklayer's Arms dates from at least 1833 and may well have been built to cater for workers at the local brickyards who were building the New Town area of Leicester. In 2023 the pub was renamed the Fox Hut

    Ghost sign for Harry Rayson. The sign is severely deteriorated at the top, but the bottom half reads: '... Ra... Complete House Furnisher'. The sign was likely repainted at some time as there is a faint second layer visible. There is also a rectangular outline visible, indicating a potential second layer or that the sign was partially covered at some time. According the 1936 Kelly's Directory of Leicestershire & Rutland, Harry Rayson is listed as a house furnisher on Biggin Street

    Ghost sign for Leicester Brewing & Malt (LBM). LBM was registered in 1890 to merge Bates, Son and Mitchell, who brewed at the Eagle Brewery, and the malting firm of Needham & Crick. The brewery supplied about 150 pubs and clubs. In 1952, the LBM was acquired by Ansells who closed the brewery but continued to bottle LBM until the 1960s

    Ghost sign for Sir Robert Peel. This sign is made up of two parts. The first, located on the front of the building, is a depicition of the figure Sir Robert Peel. The second, located on the side of the building is the same portrait of Sir Robert Peel with the name of the pub written below. These signs were painted in 2016. The pub is named after the British prime minister Sir Robert Peel, famous for introducing criminal law and prison reform and creating the Metropolitan Police. The pub has existed since the mid 1850s, and one of its landlords was Arthur 'Dick' Pougher, one of the most famous Leicestershire cricketers. Everards purchased the pub in 1901 and continues to run it

    Ghost sign for 'Whitbread's Ale & Stout / Mackeson's Stout'. Around 2022, the sign was repainted. Whitbread & Co. was established in 1742 by Samuel Whitbread in partnership with Godfrey and Thomas Shewell who Whitbread quickly bought out. By 1760, Whitbread & Co. were the second-largest brewery in London, becoming the largest in 1796. In 1930, Whitbread acquired Mackesons. In 2001, Whitbread Group Plc. sold all of its breweries and brewing interests to Interbrew (InBev), and in 2002, all pub estates were sold to Enterprise Inns. Whitebread Group Plc. now focuses on hotel (Premier Inns) and coffee-house (Costa) interests. Mackeson's began in 1669, founded by James Pashley in Hythe. Henry and William Mackeson inherited the brewery in 1801, and in 1909, the first milk stout was introduced. In 1930, Whitbread took control of Mackeson's, and now under the control of InBev, Mackeson's is still brewed in the UK, USA and Trinidad
