Get PDFRelatos como el mito de la Atlántida han cumplido una función retórica al establecer puntos de unión para sociedades altamente fragmentadas. Este ejercicio podemos apreciarlo en mitos fundacionales de naciones emergentes en el siglo XIX y edificadores como en el México del siglo XX en el proceso de institucionalizar la Revolución de 1910. El discurso de Vasconcelos cumple este motivo tanto en su producción textual, como en su oratoria y personificación misma. Aún más, recrea tales mitos en sus fundaciones educativas.Stories like the myth of Atlantis have fulfilled a rhetorical function by establishing connecting points for highly fragmented societies. We can appreciate this exercise in foundational myths of emerging nations in the nineteenth century, and builders like in Mexico of the twentieth century in the process of institutionalizing the Revolution of 1910. The speech of Vasconcelos fulfills this motive both in its textual production, as in its oratory and personification itself. Even more, recreate such myths in their educational foundations

Para analizar la expresión “docente competente”, su significado y la práctica pedagógica en las aulas, se tiene en cuenta ‒principalmente‒ el texto de José Manú e Imanol Goyarrola: Docentes competentes.Por una educación de calidad (2011). Además, se profundiza sobre la educación inclusiva y el modelo del docente como un elemento transmisor de conocimientos. Todo ello desde el punto de vista antropológico, lo cual hace posibles ciertas reflexiones que trascienden en las limitaciones ideológicas y las prácticas cotidianas sobre el profesorado en su labor educativa.This paper aims to address a current theme for education in Peru and Latin America. In order to analyze the expression “competent teacher”, its meaning and the pedagogical practice in the classrooms, we take into account -mainly- the text of José Manú and Imanol Goyarrola: Competent teachers. For a qualityeducation (2011). In addition, it explores inclusive education and the teacher model as a transmitter of knowledge. All this from the anthropological point of view, which makes possible some reflections that transcend in the ideological limitations and daily practices on the teaching staff in their educational work
The labor regime from the new command/obedience relations in neoliberal Mexico
Get PDFEl presente trabajo busca desarrollar un marco teórico-conceptual que demuestre los impactos en las relaciones laborales que ha tenido el nuevo patrón de reproducción de capital de finales del siglo XX en México. Para hacer efectiva esta dinámica económica se necesitaron nuevas bases en la relación mando/obediencia en la comunidad estatal, sobre las cuales el poder político permitiera a los sectores dominantes avanzar en sus proyectos. Esto, se expresó en cambios de fuerzas al interior de los estados, que para enfrentar la agudización de los conflictos sociales y para establecer un orden social, reclamaron elevar el mando despótico sobre la población asalariada mediante fuerte signos de violencia.The present work seeks to develop a theoretical-conceptual framework that shows the impacts on labor relations that has had in Mexico the new capital reproduction pattern of the late twentieth century. In order to make this economic dynamic effective, new bases in the command/obedience relationship in the state community where needed, over which political power would allow dominant sectors to progress in their projects. This, sooner rather than later, was expressed in changes of forces within the states, who to face the exacerbation of social conflicts and to establish a social order claimed to elevate the despotic command over the salaried population through strong signs of violence.

Get PDFThe Chicha, Life and Happiness Festival is part of some cultural practices that goes back to our Muiscas indigenous parents, who celebrated in honor of the deity Fu, who was a sacred symbol to them, and it is socially commemorated in the communal drunkenness. The Chicha, which is a fermented beverage usually derived from maize and honey, which becomes a leisure catalyst and a popular element of an essential social group in this festival. Some women, who have been learning for generations how to make the Chicha, nowadays is known for their work in the preservation and transmission the cultural value to the upcoming generations.
“El Festival de la Chicha, El Maíz, la Vida y la Dicha” forma parte de las prácticas culturales que se remontan a tiempos de nuestras madres y padres indígenas muiscas, quienes celebraban al honor del dios Fu, símbolo sagrado para ellos y conmemorado socialmente en las “borracheras colectivas”. La chicha, elaborada a base de maíz fermentado y miel, se convierte en catalizador del ocio como elemento popular de un grupo social fundamental en este festival. Las mujeres aprendieron por generaciones a preparar la chicha y se conocen actualmente por su labor de conservar y transmitir el valor cultural a las nuevas generaciones

Get PDFThis work resumes the case of San Bartolo Teontepec, located in the southeast of the state of Puebla, in order to explain the characteristics of women starting from their temporary and identity referents. This is reflected in their life stages (childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and old age) related with a series of physicaland biological elements, but also with their roles, that altogether, serve as temporary markers which are socially signified as, each one of them are given practices, relationships, values, and norms; expression of their local cultural referents, and what it is expected from them. Therefore, women are subjects generically built from specific times that become part of their identity referents.Este trabajo retoma el caso de San Bartolo Teontepec, ubicado en el sureste del estado de Puebla, para evidenciar las características de las mujeres a partir de sus referentes temporales e identitarios. Ello se refleja en sus etapas de vida (infancia, adolescencia, adultez y vejez) relacionadas con una serie de elementosfísicos y biológicos, pero también con sus roles. En conjunto, fungen como marcadores temporales que se ven significados socialmente, ya que en cada una de ellas se les otorgan prácticas, relaciones, valores y normas: expresiones de sus referentes culturales locales y de lo que se espera de ellas. Por lo cual, lasmujeres son sujetos construidos genéricamente a partir de tiempos específicos que se convierten en parte de sus referentes identitarios

Get PDFThe following document will deepen in the doctor-patient relationship, from several perspectives, in which the historical, anthropological and medical perspectives are highlighted, due to the evolution of the doctor-patient relationship throughout time, giving a new stance both patient and doctor in the medical attention, passing since a paternalistic age, in which the doctor decided the treatment with no complaining in the matter from the patient, coming to a stage in which the ill subject empowers itself facing its health condition and in the health system in which it is involved, in this dynamic, the role of the bureaucracy has influenced several aspects of the medical practice. At the same time, the reveal of the involved political elements in this kind of relationship will be pursued.El siguiente documento profundizará en la relación médico-paciente desde varias perspectivas, entre las que se destacan la histórica, antropológica y médica, puesto que, la relación médico-paciente ha evolucionado en el tiempo dando una nueva posición tanto al enfermo como al doctor en la atención médica, pasando desde una era paternalista en la que el médico decidía el tratamiento sin cuestionamientos por parte del paciente, llegando a una etapa en la que el sujeto enfermo se empodera frente a su condición de salud y el sistema de salud en el cual se involucra; dinámica dentro de la cual, el rol de la burocracia ha pasado a influir en varios aspectos del quehacer médico. Get PDFLa presente obra etnográfica-visual refleja la representación del carnaval o nahnahuatilli y su vínculo intrínseco con elementos culturales prehispánicos nahuas asociados a tlacatecolotl (hombre tecolote), la danza ritual de los pintos y ocelotl (jaguar) en sociedades rurales de la huasteca en el Municipio de Yahualica, Estado de Hidalgo, esta expresión cultural es una de las más importantes para los pobladores y conforma uno de los elementos inmateriales que sustentan la base de la identidad cultural de la huasteca hidalguense.This visual-ethnographic work reflects the representation of the carnival or nahnahuatilli and its intrinsic connection with the pre-hispanic cultural Nahua elements associated with tlacatecolotl (owl men), the pintos’ ritual dance and ocelotl (jaguar) in rural areas of the Huasteca in the Yahualica municipality, Hidalgo´s state, this cultural expression is one of the most important ones for the inhabitants and conforms one of the intangible elements that support the base of the cultural identity of the Huasteca Hidalguense

Get PDFEl modelo intercultural en la educación superior en México hasta el momento ha recibido muchas críticas desde distintos campos académicos. El objetivo del presente estudio es describir y analizar los puntos de vista de las y los alumnos de la Universidad Intercultural de Chiapas (UNICH) sobre dicho modelo de educación y la interculturalidad como tal. Utilizando metodología cualitativa en forma de entrevistas con las y los estudiantes de la UNICH se interroga qué es lo que estos jóvenes priorizan en la interculturalidad y si existe una reflexión crítica al respecto al discurso institucional sobre la interculturalidad. Se concluye que las interpretaciones sobre el modelo intercultural y la interculturalidad varían y pueden llegar a ser contradictorias. Esto lleva a cuestionar la consolidación del discurso intercultural que se ejerce en la UNICH y, posiblemente, también suceda en otras universidades interculturales en México.So far the intercultural model superior education for Mexico has received a lot of criticism from many academic fields. The goal of this research is to describe and analyze the points of view of the students from the intercultural chiapas university UNICH for its letters in Spanish about suchmodel of education and the inculturality as such. Using qualitative methods interviewing thestudents from the UNICH (for its letters in Spanish), they are questioned about what do they take first in to acount on interculturallity. It is concluded that the interpretations about the the interculturalmodel and interculturallity vary and can even be contradictory. This takes us to question theconsolidation of the intercultural speech on the UNICH and, quite possibly, this also happens at other intercultural universities in Mexico

En este contexto, el trabajo explora un patrón de hábitos multitarea entre estudiantes universitarios basado en la consulta y publicación en RSV mientras realizan otra actividad. La investigación se desarrolló con estudiantes de nivel Licenciatura de la Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán (UADY), México. Los datos fueron recopilados mediante un muestreo probabilístico por racimos. En total, se aplicaron 458 encuestas a estudiantes del campus de Ciencias Sociales, Económico, Administrativas y Humanidades (el más numeroso de la Universidad).The performing of simultaneous activities (multitask) during the consult or posting in any Social Network (SN) is a common habit between younger users. In this context, the work shows a multitask pattern based on the consult and posting in SN while another activity is being performed. This research was developedwith Bachelor’s degree students from the Autonomous University of Yucatan (UADY), Mexico. The data was gathered from a probability sampling, in portions. In total, there were 458 interviews to students from the Social Sciences, Economic, Administrative and Human Campus (the largest campus in the university)
