Comparative Study Analysis of the Effect of Protectionism Policy on Indonesian Cocoa Exports to Destination Countries: India, United States, Malaysia, China, Australia
Protectionist policies are taken by some countries such as Indonesia with the aim of protecting and improving the quality of domestic products. Indonesia is one of the largest cocoa producers in the world and plays an important role in the global supply chain. This study aims to analyze the effect of protectionist policies implemented by the Indonesian government on the volume of cocoa exports to five main destination countries, namely India, the United States, Malaysia, China, and Australia, during the 2019-2023 period. Protectionist policies such as export duty tariffs and non-tariff regulations are implemented to encourage domestic processing to increase the added value of cocoa products. The research method uses a quantitative approach with comparative analysis. Data was obtained from reliable secondary sources, such as the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The results show that protectionist policies have a significant impact on the competitiveness of Indonesian cocoa exports in the global market. The practical implication of this study is the importance of market diversification and product quality improvement to face international competition. In addition, the government needs to balance between protecting the domestic industry and increasing global competitiveness to maintain the sustainability of Indonesian cocoa exports
The Influence of Social Media, Financial Literacy and Quality of Information on Students' Interest in Investing In The Capital Market
This study aims to analyze the effects of social media, financial literacy, and the quality of information on students' investment interest in the capital market. The research method used is descriptive and quantitative analysis. The data used is primary data. The population in this study consists of students at Jambi University. The analytical techniques include simple regression analysis, hypothesis testing, correlation, determination coefficient, and t-test. Jambi University is one of the public universities in Jambi Province. It is the oldest public university, established in March 1963, and currently has nine faculties and ninety-two study programs. The results show that the independent variables (social media, financial literacy, and quality of information) significantly and simultaneously affect the dependent variable (investment interest). Furthermore, the independent variables can explain 89.3% of the influence on the dependent variable, with a determination coefficient (R²) of 0.893. In conclusion, social media, financial literacy, and quality of information significantly influence investment interest
Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) and Intellectual Capital's Impact on the Financial Performance of Indonesian Stock Exchange-Listed Companies That Win Top GRC Awards in 2020–2023
The purpose of this study is to ascertain and evaluate the impact of intellectual capital and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) on the financial performance of 2019 BEI-listed businesses who get the Top GRC Awards. The approach used to determine the sample was purposeful sampling. During a four-year observation period, samples were obtained from eight companies, yielding thirty-two observations. Panel data regression and Eviews 12 are used in this study's data analysis. The findings of this study indicate that the financial performance (ROA) of the organization is significantly impacted by both intellectual capital and GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance). Financial performance (ROA) is not partially impacted by GRC. The financial success of the business is impacted by intellectual capital (ROA)
The Effect of Fintech Adoption and Digital Transformation on Performance and Indonesian Banking Competitiveness
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh adopsi teknologi finansial terhadap kinerja dan daya saing Perbankan Indonesia dengan penambahan variabel transformasi digital sebagai variabel independen merupakan hal yang baru dalam penelitian ini. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria responden aktif menggunakan dompet elektronik selama 3 bulan terakhir. Jumlah responden yang terkumpul sebanyak 165 orang yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan SEM PLS. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa adopsi teknologi finansial mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap daya saing dan kinerja perbankan. Selain itu, daya saing dan transformasi digital memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perbankan. Implikasinya bagi perbankan perlunya melakukan inovasi & peningkatan kualitas layanan produk fintech, dengan meningkatnya inovasi dan kualitas layanan produk fintech dapat mempengaruhi keputusan seseorang dalam memilih produk fintech yang akan meningkatkan daya saing perbankan dan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja bank
Marketing Analysis of Product-Harm Crises on Brand Switching (Case Study on Honda eSAF Frame)
This research aims to analyze the impact of marketing factors, such as brand equity and product quality, on Brand Switching behavior through Product-Harm Crises, with a case study of the Honda eSAF motorcycle frame fracture incident. This crisis not only affects technical aspects but also damages the reputation and consumer trust in Astra Honda Motor (AHM). The study uses the SEM-PLS method with a sample of 160 respondents. Results show that brand equity and product quality have a significant influence on product crises, but do not directly or indirectly trigger consumers to switch brands through these product crises. The decision for Brand Switching turns out to be more complex and influenced by factors other than product crises. Therefore, companies need to develop effective crisis mitigation strategies to maintain consumer loyalty and reduce the risk of brand switching, in addition to strengthening brand equity and product quality
Pengaruh Pendidikan Keuangan, Pendapatan Keuangan, Literasi Keuangan dan Inklusi Keuangan terhadap Pengelolaan Keuangan UMKM di Kota Surabaya
This research examines the relationship between financial education, income, financial literacy and financial inclusion on the financial management of MSMEs. A purposive sampling approach was used in conjunction with quantitative methods. Data collection in the form of a questionnaire via Google Form. The research sample consisted of 100 participants. Multiple linear regression analysis and general assumption testing are two methods of data analysis. The results of this research reveal that simultaneously there is a positive and significant influence between the variables of financial education, income, financial literacy and financial inclusion on financial management variables. Meanwhile, literacy and financial inclusion variables are the variables that have the most dominant influence on the financial management of MSMEs in the city of Surabaya
The Impact of Exports and Currency Value on Indonesia's Economic Development Before and During Covid-19 Period 2011-2023
The COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted global economies, including Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the effects of exports and exchange rates on Indonesia’s economic development during 2011-2023. Using a quantitative approach with the Two-Stage Least Squares (2SLS) method, the results indicate that exports positively contributed to economic growth before the pandemic. However, this contribution weakened during the pandemic due to global supply chain disruptions. Exchange rate depreciation had a positive impact on export competitiveness before the pandemic, while its influence became insignificant during the pandemic. Inflation consistently showed a negative impact on economic growth throughout the study period. This research highlights the importance of export diversification, exchange rate stability, and inflation control as strategies to support sustainable economic growth

The purpose of this study is to adapt the workplace fun scale into the Indonesian version of the scale. This study is based on the ITC (International Test Commission) guidelines for the adaptation process and conducts statistical analysis with the Cronbach's Alpha reliability test and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). CFA results This implies that the model proposed in this study is valid for assessing Workplace Fun in Indonesia and can be used for future research on Workplace Fun in Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Green Economy concept in the Jambi City Waste Bank, with a focus on supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as its positive impact on community economic empowerment and environmentally based economic development. This study found that the implementation of community empowerment through the Waste Bank has a significant impact, especially in increasing public knowledge and awareness of environmental management and waste management. The implementation of the Waste Bank is in line with the principles of the green economy, which aims to improve human welfare, social equality, and reduce environmental risks. Economically, this activity provides real benefits for customers, in the form of additional income and business capital
Studi Fenomenologi UKM Kerajinan Tangan Berbasis Limbah Kayu pada D&D Craft (Purbalingga) dan Jk Watch (Yogyakarta)
This study is a phenomenological study that focuses on wood waste-based innovation carried out by handicraft SMEs in Purbalingga and Yogyakarta. The data collection technique used is purposive sampling technique with the criteria being SMEs that have exported products and received assistance from government agencies. The results of this study indicate that innovation capability is an important capability possessed by handicraft SMEs that determines the sustainability of their business in the wood waste-based handicraft industry. To improve innovation capability, SMEs need to be given continuous training
