    Inequality between regional aspects is common in regional economic activities. This study is to measure the level of regional inequality, the relationship between economic growth, poverty, and the human development index on inequality, and analyze whether there is convergence in the West Coast Region and the East Coast Region of North Sumatra Province. The study uses Williamson index calculations to measure gaps, panel data regression analysis and sigma convergence and beta convergence analysis. The results of the research show that the West Coast Region is indicated by a low level of inequality and the East Coast Region is indicated by a high level of inequality. Economic growth has a positive but not significant impact on inequality in the West Coast Region and a positive and significant impact on inequality in the East Coast Region. Poverty has a positive and significant impact on inequality in the West Coast Region and the East Coast Region. The Human Development Index has a positive and significant impact on inequality in the West Coast Region and the East Coast Region. Simultaneously, Economic Growth, Poverty and the Human Development Index have a positive and significant impact on inequality in the West Coast Region and the East Coast Region. Sigma Convergence does not occur in the West Coast Region but occurs in the East Coast Region. Beta convergence occurs in the West Coast Region and the East Coast Region

    In developing economy, qualified human resources are needed, but gender inequality is a problem that must occur in every country so that the Government must make several efforts to equalize between genders, especially in the fields of health, education, and decent living standards. The aims of this research is to compare the gap between gender inequality that occurs and its impact on economic growth in Indonesia. The data used in this study are data sourced from BPS in 2017 to 2022 and processed using EViews 12 with panel data regression data analysis. This study found that female & male AHH (X1) had a positive and insignificant effect on economic growth (Y), male & female RLS (X2) had a negative and significant effect on economic growth (Y), and male PLP (X3) had a positive but insignificant effect and female PLP (X3) had no but significant effect on economic growth (Y) in Indonesia

    This research aims to determine the internal and external factors in the PT XYZ Medan data center, so as to obtain the right alternative business strategy by knowing the current position of the PT the best center in Indonesia. Data was collected through interviews with top management of PT XYZ Medan. The method used is the IFE Matrix, EFE Matrix, IE Matrix, SWOT and QSPM Matrix to determine appropriate alternative data center business strategies. The results of the research show that the company's main strength factor is the data center which has the best level of security and has been certified by ISO 27001:2013 ISMS (Information Security Management System). Apart from that, the results of the IE matrix show that the position of the PT XYZ Medan Data Center is in quadrant I, namely Growth (concentration through vertical integration) and the best strategy obtained is optimizing service, quality and affordable prices in order to retain customers

    This study aimed to determine the effect of product quality on consumer decisions using wood packaging material services at Carsurindo Siperkasa Medan to assess the impact of product innovation on consumer decisions using wood packaging material services at PT. Carsurindo Siperkasa Medan determines the effect of product quality and product innovation on consumer decisions to use wood packaging material services at PT. Carsurindo Siperkasa Medan. The analysis technique used in this study uses quantitative data analysis techniques, namely testing and analysing data. The respondents in the study were 45 people. From the results of this study, it was obtained the significance value of the product quality variable (X1) on the consumer purchasing decision variable (Y) based on the t-test was obtained at t count > t table (8.212) > (2.018), (Sig 0.001 t table (3.970) > (2.018), (Sig 0.001 F table was (34.068 > 3.21), (Sig 0.001 <α0.05); thus, H3 was accepted, and H0 was rejected. The conclusion: Product quality and innovation have a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions. It shows that if the company can improve product quality and innovation, consumers will be interested in buying these products, increasing consumer purchasing decisions

    Fashion has a strong appeal and is accepted by individuals of all ages as a determining aspect of clothing and daily lifestyle. The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of sales promotion on consumer purchasing choices. The target population of this study consists of Billionaire's Project consumers, with a sample of 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling, a non-probability sampling technique. To collect data, questionnaires were distributed to individuals who had purchased and used products from the Billionaire's Project. The data analysis process uses descriptive and inferential analysis using the Partial Least Square (PLS) 4.0 analysis tool. The findings of this study confirm that sales promotion has a significant effect on purchasing decisions, and the involvement of celebrity endorsers also has a significant influence on consumer purchasing choices. Business owners can leverage these research findings as valuable references when designing digital marketing strategies geared toward increasing sales of Billionaire's Project products, particularly in the areas of sales promotion and celebrity-based marketing

    The aim of this study is to evaluate the influence of hedonistic lifestyles on consumer behavior among university students while analyzing the Islamic perspective regarding this behavior. Hedonism, as a lifestyle choice, captivates the interest of young individuals by offering a luxurious, comfortable, and abundant way of life without requiring substantial effort. Employing a quantitative method and applying Probability Sampling among 200 students, the research extracted a sample size of 115 individuals. The research findings illustrate a positive correlation between hedonistic lifestyles and consumer behavior, evidenced by the positive coefficients within the analysis. The more prevalent the hedonistic lifestyle, the more pronounced the consumer behavior becomes. A significant portion of the student community tends to be influenced by hedonistic tendencies, emphasizing pleasure over essential needs, consequently leading to consumer behavior. The activities, interests, and perspectives of the majority of students do not entirely align with the principles of Islamic economics, which emphasize the necessity for rational needs aligned with the Islamic sharia, as stated in the Quran (Al-A'raf verse 31). This signifies that the orientation of needs driven by hedonistic lifestyles contradicts the principles of Islamic economics that emphasize needs in line with positive values within Islamic teachings

    This research aims to determine the influence of price, product quality and service quality on customer satisfaction at the Mie Satan Prigen Pasuruan Restaurant. The research method used is quantitative and the research sample uses a purposive sampling method. This research used a sample size of 100 respondents with customers who had tried and eaten at the Mie Satan Prigen Pasuruan restaurant more than 2 (two) times. The research results show that simultaneously there is a positive and significant influence between the price, product quality and service quality variables on customer satisfaction, but partially only the product quality variable has no effect on customer satisfaction at the Mie Satan Prigen Pasuruan Restaurant

    This research aims to determine the influence of brand awareness and product design on purchasing decisions through the purchase intention variable. The subjects in this research were 250 community respondents in Serang City. Data analysis tools use SPSS and SmartPLS using a Likert scale. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence between the product design variable on the purchase intention variable, but no direct influence was found between brand awareness on the purchase intention variable for AQUA Japan products in Serang City. Then there is a significant influence of the brand awareness, product design, purchase intention variables on the buying decision variable for AQUA Japan products in Serang City. This research also found that the purchase intention variable does not have a mediating effect on the influence of brand awareness on buying decisions, but the purchase intention variable can be used as a mediation on the influence of product design on buying decisions for AQUA Japan products in Serang City

    Purchasing decisions are a long process that buyers must go through before they buy a product and continue afterwards. The purpose of this study is to see whether variables such as price, trust, security and convenience variables have an effect on purchasing decisions. object of research for students of class 2020, 20221, and 2023 of the Sharia Economics study program. The object of this research is in the Sharia Economics study program of FEBI UIN Fas Bengkulu. The type of research approach is quantitative associative. Then purposive sampling is used to collect data as many as 100 people who are users of the shopee application. Multiple Linear Regression Analysis is used in the data analysis method. Based on the tests that have been carried out, it is revealed that partially price (X1) has a negative effect and (sig) on purchasing decisions. Then partially the variables of trust (X2), convenience (X3) and security (X4) in using e-commerce have a positive influence (sig) on purchasing decisions
