Strategi Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris Mahasiswa Mahad IAIN Bukittinggi
Get PDFLiving in a dormitory is a must for the first year students of IAIN Bukittinggi, especially English Education Department. They followed some rules in their daily activities there. They also have some activities including alqur’an recitation, leaderhip, Arabic and English training. Based on the phenomenon above, this research analyzed the use of language learning strategies by the students who lived in mahad. Qualitative analysis was used to find the English language learning strategy and the factors support and obstales face by the stde the used of language learning strategy itself. The results showed that most of the students used affective strategy more in their English language learning. It explained that good attitude and motivation taking a big part in the language learning strategies which brough the students to the deeper understanding of using English for their daily conversation. Then, some factors like the ability to motivate their self in learning English and environment became obstacles in mastering English in mahad IAIN Bukittinggi. This can be anticipated by arranging their scedule well during the day of their learning.Tinggal di asrama merupakan suatu keharusan bagi mahasiswa tahun pertama di IAIN Bukittinggi, khususnya jurusan Bahasa. Mereka mengikuti dan mematuhi beberapa aturan yang ditetapkan Asrama untuk kegiatan mereka sehari-hari. Mereka juga mengikuti beberapa kegiatan tambahan seperti; menghafal alqur’an, kepemimpinan, pelatihan Bahasa Arab dan Bahasa Inggris. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut maka penelitian ini menganalisa penggunaan strategi pembelajaran bahasa oleh mahasiswa yang tinggal di Mahad. Analisa kualitatif digunakan untuk menemukan strategi pembelajaran bahasa dan faktor pendukung serta kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa dalam mempelajari bahasa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebanyakan mahasiswa menggunakan strategi afektif dalam pembelajaran bahasa mereka. Hal ini menjelaskan bahwa sikap yang baik dan motivasi untuk berpartisipasi dalam penggunaan bahasa membawa mereka kepada pemahaman penggunaan Bahasa Inggris untuk percakapan sehari-hari. Kemudian, beberapa faktor seperti kemampuan memotivasi diri dan lingkungan menjadi kendala dalam menguasai Bahasa Inggris di Mahad IAIN Bukittinggi. PEMBERDAYAAN WANITA DAN TANAH ADAT MINANG
No full textIn the Minang community, women are considered as holders of trust and all decisions related to the use of their typical land are still dependent on the decisions of the adat leaders. In another sense, a woman is justified in possessing but the property given to her is pregnant soon (Norhalim Ibrahim 2005). Indigenous women will be grouped with land ownership but in terms of power and rights to land still controlled by traditional leaders. The lack of power in the context of managing and using customary land has led to various issues that have touched indigenous lands. The issue is the issue of customary land that is not cultivated and has become widespread. Therefore, this study aims to examine how indigenous women become hindered as a result of the boundaries held by them. Therefore, in-depth interviews with customary land owners in the study area were conducted. The study found that there were a number of obstacles that hindered efforts to capture indigenous women. Because of the allocation of Enakmen Chapter 215 customary land, conflicts between trustees and tribes, it is difficult to obtain credit facilities and the location of customary land. This situation eventually pushed to the limits of efforts to wake up the economy of women. The lack of power resulting from limited property rights makes the economic empowerment of indigenous women not easy to handle. Thus some changes in the context of traditional leadership must need to think about the relevance of ownership that is more utilizing the owner, but in the same period it does not conflict with the existence of the Minang ethnic and ethnic groups.Dalam masyarakat Minang wanita dianggap sebagai pemegang amanah dan segala keputusan berkait dengan urusan pemakaian tanah khasnya masih lagi tergantung kepada keputusan pemimpin adat. Dalam erti lain, seseorang wanita itu dibenarkan memiliki tetapi hakmilik yang diberikan kepadanya adalah hamilik terhad (Norhalim Ibrahim 2005). Wanita adat akan diompokkan dengan pemilikan tanah tetapi dari segi kuasa dan hak terhadap tanah masih dikuasai oleh pemimpin adat. Ketiadaan kuasa dalam konteks mengurus dan memakai tanah adat menyebabkan timbul pelbagai isu yang menyentuh tanah adat. Antaranya adalah isu tanah adat yang tidak diusahakan dan menjadi terbiar. Oleh yang demikian kajian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti bagaimana pemerkasaan wanita adat menjadi terhalang akibat daripada sekatan pegangan yang dimiliki oleh mereka. Oleh itu indepth interview dengan pemilik tanah adat di kawasan kajian dilakukan. Dapatan kajian mendapati terdapat beberapa halangan yang menghalang usaha untuk memperkasakan wanita adat. Antaranya peruntukan tanah adat Enakmen Bab 215, konflik antara pemegang amanah dan keberadaan suku, kesukaran mendapatkan kemudahan kredit dan lokasi tanah adat. Keadaan ini akhirnya mendorong kepada batasan terhadap usaha membangunkan ekonomi wanita. Ketiadaan kuasa akibat daripada hak milik yang terhad menjadikan usaha pemberdayaan ekonomi wanita adat menjadi tidak mudah untuk ditangani. Oleh demikian beberapa perubahan dalam konteks kepimpinan adat harus perlu memikirkan kerelevanan pemilikan yang lebih memanfaatkan pemilik namun dalam masa yang sama tidak mempertikaian keberadaan suku dan etnik minang. No full textLearning qawaid nahwu (Arabic Grammar) is often considered difficult, especially for beginners in learning Arabic, even many people consider that Arabic is difficult. Learning Arabic for students who receive Bidik Misi scholarships for example, because these students come from different scientific backgrounds and schools and most of them are beginners and have never studied Arabic, therefore special methods and strategies are needed that are different from students who are have learned Arabic even from Pondok Pesantren. There are various ways and strategies used to overcome these difficulties, including by increasing the practice of simple and easy sentence patterns. The lecturer gives examples to students in the form of simple sentence patterns, then students can copy and then create new sentence patterns so that they can easily understand the qowa'id nahwu. For this reason, in this paper, it is explained the importance of understanding simple sentence patterns and examples of making sentences through sentence patterns for students who receive Bidik Misi scholarships at IAIN Bukittinggi

Get PDFThe purpose of this study investigates whether financial literacy affects the preferences of choosing the funding product at Islamic Banks. The research method used is a quantutative method that uses a sample of 385 customers of Islamic banks in Tanah Datar district, under condition 2018, this study reveals that financial literacy is positively associated with the preferences of choosing funding products. This finding offer the empirical evidence of the importance on the relationship of financial literacy to the preferences of choosing the funding product. It indicates that the financial literacy is a important point in Islamic banks thay will make peoples turn to Islamic banks . Furthermore, this research recommends strategy of increasing market share of Islamic Bank by increasing public’s finance literacy
Pengaruh Store Atmosphere Terhadap Impulse Buying Yang Dimoderasi Oleh Faktor Mashlahah
Get PDFThe aim of this research is to analyze the influence of store atmosphere on impulse buying which is moderated by mashlahah factor. This research tries to investigate the role of mashlahah factor in affecting relationship between store atmosphere and impulse buying. The study population is all visitors of fashion retail stores in Bukittinggi. Sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling method, final sample counted 152 respondents. The study used a moderated regression analysis (MRA) tool with the SPSS program to test the hypothesis.The findings showed that store atmosphere variable positively affect the impulse buying. The results also prove the mashlahah factor negatively moderating the relationship between store atmosphere and impulse buying

The design of this study is quantitative correlational. The population is Muslim teenagers in the city of Bukittinggi. The sample of this study was Muslim teenagers in the Bukit Tinggi town who bought cafe food. Furthermore, the determination of the sample to be used as the respondent was done by purposive sampling, by taking and selecting Muslim adolescents in Bukittinggi as respondents.Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that: partially Religiosity and Culture have a positive effect on purchasing decisions in buying cafe food, while Religiosity and Culture simultaneously influence purchasing decisions in buying cafe food where the contribution of the determination coefficient (R Square) is 38.8% and the remaining 61.2% is influenced by other variables which are not included in this similarity regression or variables not examined

For this reason, efforts need to be made to utilize this smartphone technology to support the learning process. This research is intended to develop teaching materials in the form of e-books or digital books using sigil. This research was carried out using the Four-D model RnD method. This teaching material has been created and validated by media experts in the field of informatics engineering and experts in the field of biology education. After the validation test, the validation value of the media expert is as big as 89,16 And experts in the field of biology education amount to 84,8Media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Buku sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran harus bisa ditampilkan mengikuti perkembangan zaman dan perkembangan teknologi. Teknologi smartphone dewasa ini sudah merambah keseluruh kalangan, tidak terkecuali siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Untuk itu perlu ada usaha yang dilakukan untuk memanfaatkan teknologi smartphone ini untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran dalam bentuk e-book atau buku digital menggunakan sigil. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode RnD model Four-D. An Analysis of Interlingual and Intralingual Errors in EFL Learners’ Composition
No full textThis study aims to investigate the occurrence of errors committed by EFL learners in their composition in terms of interlingual and intralingual errors. The setting of the study was a state Islamic university in Banjarmasin South Kalimantan, Indonesia. The research participants were undergraduate students majoring in English Education. Data were collected through documentation of students’ composition and analyzed based on Corder’s Error Analysis (EA) theory. From the samples of 38 compositions submitted, it was identified that interlingual errors occurred more frequently than intralingual errors. Interlingual errors comprised morphological selection, lexical selection, syntactical selection, and misordering. Meanwhile, intralingual errors were evident in both omission and addition in the areas of word formation and syntax. The findings of this study revealed that first language interference caused more errors in writing than learners’ incomplete process of acquiring second language rules. To prevent the errors from being fossilized, it is suggested that in the teaching and learning process, language instructors provide continuous corrective feedback, and learners be more active in finding exposure to the correct form of the target language.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki terjadinya kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh pembelajar bahasa asing dalam tulisan mereka yang berupa kesalahan interlingual dan intralingual. Penelitian dilakukan di sebuah universitas Islam negeri di Banjarmasin Kalimantan Selatan Indonesia. Partisipan penelitian adalah mahasiswa S1 jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. Data diperoleh melalui dokumentasi hasil karangan mahasiswa yang kemudian dianalisa berdasarkan teori Error Analysis dari Corder. Sebanyak 38 sampel karangan mahasiswa dikumpulkan dan ditemukan bahwa kesalahan interlingual lebih banyak terjadi daripada kesalahan intralingual. Kesalahan interlingual berupa kesalahan dalam memilih kosa kata dan menyusun kalimat yang disebabkan oleh pengaruh bahasa asli. Sedangkan kesalahan intralingual berupa penghilangan atau penambahan yang tidak tepat pada bentuk kata atau bentuk kalimat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh bahasa asli yang menyebabkan kesalahan interlingual dalam tulisan terjadi lebih banyak daripada kesalahan intralingual. Untuk mencegah melekatnya kesalahan, disarankan agar dalam proses belajar mengajar guru dapat terus memberikan umpan balik, dan siswa harus lebih aktif dalam mencari contoh-contoh bentuk bahasa yang benar.Kata Kunci: kesalahan, interlingual, intralingual, karanga
The Role of Public Sphere According to Jurgen Habermas’s Perspective for Multicultural Societies in the Indonesian Context
Get PDFThis paper explains the role of the public sphere based on Jurgen Habermas’s concept and analyzes its relevance for multicultural societies in the Indonesian Context. The public sphere exists to present democracy, tolerance, friendship, inclusivism in diversity, unity in diversity, and education. Indonesia is a country that reflects multiculturalism, can realize peace and unity within a multicultural frame. This article was developed using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. This paper explains the role of public space based on Jurgen Habermas for interdisciplinary scholarship and its relevance. His findings show Jurgen Habermas's approach through the public sphere can bring about unity and peace in all aspects of life, including differences in beliefs and multicultural contexts
