PENGEMBANGAN DESAIN PEMBELAJARAN ASSURE BERORIENTASI LITERASI PADA MATERI BANGUN RUANG
Get PDFRendahnya minat membaca maupun menulis membuat siswa enggan menyikapi permasalahan matematika terutama pada beberapa soal cerita matematika. Perlu adanya penerapan suatu metode sebagai alternatif siswa dalam hal membaca dan menulis agar mendapatkan hasil belajar yang maksimal. Salah satu pembelajaran yang dapat menumbuhkan sikap semangat membaca dan menulis siswa adalah desain pembelajaran ASSURE berbasis literasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran matematika dengan desain pembelajaran ASSURE berbasis literasi pada materi bangun ruang kelas VIII SMP . Tahapan pengembangan penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D yang telah dimodifikasi menjadi define, design dan develop. Perangkat pembelajaran terdiri dari rencana pelajaran, lembar kerja siswa, media belajar mengajar dan tes prestasi belajar siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi alat pembelajaran, lembar kegiatan siswa,angket respon siswa dan tes prestasi belajar siswa. Hasil dari instrumen tersebut dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian. Hasilnya adalah perangkat pembelajaran yang berorientasi literasi pada materi bangun datar yang telah valid. Karena perangkat pembelajaran telah direvisi berdasarkan validasi dan setelah eksperimen di kelas respon siswa terhadap perangkat pembelajaran positif dan valid, kepekaan dan reliabilitas. Kategori terhadap uji prestasi menunjukan adanya perbedaan hasil belajar. PERAN GURU DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN SIKAP KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI DI SMKN 1 TROWULAN
Get PDFGuru merupakan pendidik profesional dengan tugas untuk mendidik, mengajar, membimbing, mencerdaskan, merubah tingkah laku dan sikap peserta didik di sekolah formal maupun non formal. Permasalahan kemandirian belajar pada peserta didik dapat merubah tingkah laku belajar, diharapkan peran guru agar mampu merubah tingkah laku dan sikap peserta didik. Kemandirian belajar seseorang dilihat dari proses pembelajaran di kelas pada saat mengerjakan tugas, mencontoh teman atau mengerjakan sendiri. Pentingnya pembahasan tentang topik ini adalah untuk memberikan kontribusi gerakan moral pentingnya pendidikan karakter, guna melatih peserta didik untuk mandiri dan tidak bergantung pada orang lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: Peran guru dalam meningkatkan persaingan peserta didik, peran guru untuk menumbuhkan kepercayaan diri peserta didik, peran guru dalam membangun sikap bertanggung jawab peserta didik dan peran guru menumbuhkan sikap mengambil keputusan dan inisiatif peserta didik. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah wawancara, obervasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ)-1 pada mata pelajaran PPKn di SMKN 1 Trowulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) peran guru dalam meningkatkan rasa bersanging pada setiap peserta didik dapat ditingkatkan pada saat pemberian tugas yang dikerjakan oleh masing masing peserta didik untuk mendapatkan nilai yang bagus. (2) peran guru dapat menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri pada peserta didik dapat dilihat pada saat pemberian tugas untuk menjelaskan kepada temanya di depan kelas. (3) Peran guru dapat memberikan rasa bertanggung jawab pada peserta didik saat pemberian tugas. (4) peserta didik dapat mengambil keputusan dan berfikir apa yang telah dikerjakan dengan baik. PENGARUH HARGA TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN PEMBELIAN KOPI EXELCA SEDUH DI WARUNG POJOK WONOSALAM JOMBANG
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh harga terhadap keputusan pembelian kopi exelca seduh di warung pojok Wonosalam. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu semua pembeli kopi exelca seduh di warung pojok Wonosalam, sedangkan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 67 pembeli untuk menjadi responden penelitian. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana dengan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian kopi exelca seduh dengan pengaruh sebesar 0,188 atau 18,8% dan signifikan pada variabel harga sebesar 0,000 kurang dari 0,05. Sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang artinya variabel bebas terbukti mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian
PELATIHAN SOFTBALL BAGI SISWA DAN GURU PJOK SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS
Get PDFSoftball ini sebenarnya sudah tidak asing bagi siswa-siswi. Olahraga ini mirip dengan permainan bola kasti yang sudah sering diberikan di tingkat Sekolah Dasar. Softball ini merupakan olahraga permainan penyesuaian dari baseball yang mempunyai permainan lebih lunak. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini sebagai salah satu alternatif yang dipilih untuk pembelajaran PJOK di sekolah, sehingga olahraga menjadi lebih bervariasi dan siswa lebih bersemangat dalam melakukan kegiatan olahraga. Softball ini juga dapat dimasukkan sebagai salah satu pilihan ekstrakurikuler sehingga menambah khasanah kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Pada tahap persiapan, hal yang dapat dilakukan adalah menyelaraskan tujuan kegiatan dengan persiapan yang akan dibuat. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa dan guru PJOK SMA dalam bidang softball. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam bentuk pendampingan langsung kepada siswa dan guru. Kegiatan pendampingan meliputi kegiatan sosialisasi, praktek dan diskusi. Get PDFSpeaking is one of the basic language skills that have to be mastered by English foreign learners due to its significant and its use for communication. It is very important to be able to speak English regarding that it is the most commonly accepted language in the world so that it will be very beneficial for those who comprehend it not only to improve their knowledge and skills but also easier for them to get a job. However, the researcher has found that there are many similarities and difficulties faced by the students in speaking English such as fear of making mistakes, fear of being laughed by their friend as they have no idea about pronunciation and grammar that they use. The objective of this research was to prove whether or not students speaking skills be improved by using presentation for students of Bekasi palm oil polytechnic cultivation program. The result of this study shows that At the beginning of the presentation assignment, students' speaking ability is still very limited. But when the presentation assignments went on for quite a long time, students were getting used to the presentation of English and they were also more used to doing public speaking. Based on the results and discussion, it can conclude that presentation can improve student’s speaking skill for Cultivation Program Student of Politeknik Kelapa Sawit Bekasi
Strengths of Good Character to Achieve Higher Social Academic Achievement for Students of English Department at STKIP PGRI Jombang
No full textGood character is important in the daily lives of individuals and families, in the workplace, in school, and in the larger community. For centuries, building and strengthening good character among children and youth have been universal goals for parenting and education. Good character is what parents look for in their children, what teachers look for in their students, what siblings look for in their brothers and sisters, and what friends look for in each other. Character is critical for lifelong optimal human development. It has become parents’ and educators’ responsibility to encourage their children or their students to implement it. Based on the problem above, the researcher has conducted the research to know the correlation between the strengths of character and academic achievement for students of STKIP PGRI Jombang by using correlational research design. The instruments used are questionnaire, likert scale, and interview. The researcher has analyzed the data by using product moment formula. The significant level is 95% (α=0,05). The finding is rxy=0,503079 and t test=2,53734. The correlation is positive which means that there is same direction between free variable and bound variable. The higher good character which the students have, the higher social academic achievement they get. Because t test (2,53734) > t table (2,093), the conclusion is there is significant correlation between good character and social academic achievement for students of STKIP PGRI Jomban

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING SHADOW READING IN TEACHING ENGLISH INTONATION

For example: they can use new technique by considering need analysis, such as: using shadow reading in teaching English. Shadow reading is one of teaching technique applied in teaching English, especially teaching English intonation. Because intonation plays crucial part in conveying ideas, feeling, and information to other. Besides, considering pitch movement, second language learners also must consider the expresiveness and articulacy in English. The phenomenon encourages the researcher to conduct this study on teaching English intonation by using shadow reading. In this study, the researcher is eager to find the effectiveness of using shadow reading in teachingEnglish intonation. The researcher takes the first semester students of STKIP PGRI Jombang as the subject of this research. This study uses quasi experimental design. It is designed by using test, mainly: pre-test and post-test. The result of this study shows that using shadow reading is effective in teaching English Intonation. YOUNG LEARNERS WITH ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVE DISORDER (ADHD: STRATEGY TO TEACH ENGLISH VOCABULARY
Get PDFThis paper aims at analyzing teacher’s strategies in teaching vocabulary to students with ADHD as well as its implementation, the ADHD student’s responses, challenges faced by the teacher, and alternative ways to overcome it proposed by the teacher. Interview, observation, and document analysis were used to obtain the required data,. This study revealed that four strategies; attending to form, learning the meaning of word, making strong memory connection, and extending students’ vocabulary beyond the text book which were used by the teacher to teach English vocabulary to ADHD students were delivered in a chronological order. Then, seven kinds of responses; choral response, open-ended response, confusion work oriented, laughter, using native language, silence, and using L2 showed by ADHD student in the teaching learning process when the teacher used those strategies. The challenges which were faced and alternative ways which were offered by the teacher relate to symptoms of ADHD student especially his attention.
AN ANALYSIS OF ROMANTIC ASPECT AS PORTRAYED IN ‘THE REVOLT IN PARADISE” BY K’TUT TANTRI
Get PDFThis study was aimed to analyze the aspects of Romanticism manifested in the novel “The Revolt in Paradise” and behavior of character reflects Romanticism in “The Revolt in Paradise”. This study was based on the descriptive-qualitative research since the findings were going to be presented in a descriptive form. The data to be analyzed are gathered from two sources. The primary source is the novel itself; The Revolt in Paradise and the secondary sources includes many appropriate documents in the form of literary works, previous thesis, biography, theories and literary criticism, dictionaries and etc. Related to the instrument, the researcher employed herself as the human instrument. The data were analyzed through underlying and labeling. The result of the study found that there four aspects of Romanticism manifested in the novel; The Revolt in Paradise, they were: the love of nature, the memories of the past, the horror /gothic setting and the emotion; included; love, anger and hatred. This study also found that The Revolt in Paradise gave the vivid depiction of the Nationalism as the major behavior reflects Romanticism
