    Get PDF
The increasing concentration of urea in wastewater poses both an environmental challenge and an opportunity for sustainable hydrogen production through urea electrolysis, which depends on efficient electrocatalysts. This review focused on nickel-based catalysts due to their high catalytic activity and stability in alkaline media. Using the PRISMA method, twenty studies published between 2020 and 2025 were analyzed based on current density, cell potential, Tafel slope, and stability. Through thematic analysis, catalysts were categorized according to their structure, composition, design strategy, and performance at 10, 50, 100, and 500 mA cm⁻². The review also highlights the importance of testing catalysts in real wastewater rather than in idealized electrolytes. An effective catalyst should exhibit a porous or layered nanostructure, multimetallic composition, and surface doping, while avoiding noble metals and overly complex architectures that hinder charge transfer and scalability

    Get PDF
Inflammation is a biological response to injury that can become chronic and lead to various immunological disorders in humans. Bioactive compounds in Sauropus androgynus exhibit a broad spectrum of biological activity, including anti-inflammatory effects. This study employed a computational approach involving Lipinski’s Rule of Five, protein network analysis, molecular docking, ADMET prediction, molecular dynamics simulations, and Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations for electronic structure elucidation. Among the tested compounds, corchoionoside C and afzelin demonstrated the strongest inhibitory potential against the COX-2 enzyme, with binding energies of −9.57 and −9.14 kcal/mol, respectively. Molecular dynamics simulations showed that the S. androgynus bioactive compound–COX-2 complexes exhibited minimal fluctuation and remained highly stable throughout the simulation, supporting their potential biological activity. DFT HOMO–LUMO analysis further indicated the capability of corchoionoside C and afzelin to interact with biological targets such as COX-2 through polar or electrostatic interactions. These findings are expected to provide a scientific foundation for the development of novel anti-inflammatory agents with promising pharmacological profiles and reduced adverse effects

Zakat-based e-philanthropy strategy in global humanitarian diplomacy: a case study of BAZNAS’ #MembasuhLukaPalestina program

    Get PDF
The humanitarian crisis in Palestine has spurred the emergence of digital-based donation collection innovations in Indonesia, with the National Zakat Amil Agency (BAZNAS) serving as a key actor through its #MembasuhLukaPalestina (#WashAwayPalestinesWounds) program, an initiative in e-philanthropy aimed at responding to global humanitarian tragedies. This article seeks to analyze BAZNAS’s zakat-based e-philanthropy strategy and evaluate its effectiveness in collecting and distributing donations through digital platforms as part of global humanitarian diplomacy. Employing a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, digital observation, media documentation, and analysis of official BAZNAS documents, which were then processed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive analysis model. BAZNAS’s strategy of leveraging digital platforms –such as websites, social media, and e-commerce– has proven effective in accelerating fundraising, expanding public participation, and enhancing transparency. Compared to conventional methods, the digital system is more efficient, accountable, and less prone to misuse. The program not only increases zakat collection but also positions zakat as a strategic instrument in global humanitarian diplomacy grounded in Islamic economics. This model demonstrates that zakat can transform into a cross-border solidarity force through digitalization. BAZNAS’s e-philanthropy strategy exemplifies the concrete integration of Islamic values and technology in strengthening an Islamic economic system based on solidarity, efficiency, and social justice.

Islamic ethical perspective on capital structure, profitability, and firm value: evidence from Indonesia’s healthcare sector

    Get PDF
This study investigates the influence of capital structure, profitability, and firm size on firm value, with dividend policy as a moderating variable, viewed from an Islamic ethical perspective. Using panel data from healthcare companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2019–2023, the research applies multiple regression analysis to examine how financial and ethical dimensions interact in determining corporate value. The results show that capital structure and profitability have a negative and significant effect on firm value, while firm size does not have a significant influence. Dividend policy strengthens the relationship between capital structure and firm value but fails to moderate the effects of profitability and firm size. These findings highlight that excessive leverage and inefficient profit utilization reduce market valuation, whereas transparent dividend distribution enhances investor trust. From the Islamic perspective, these outcomes reflect the ethical principles of ʿadl (justice), amānah (trustworthiness), and ḥikmah (prudence) in managing financial decisions. The study contributes to the integration of ethical considerations into signaling theory and provides practical guidance for corporate managers and policymakers to design balanced financial strategies aligned with Islamic moral accountability

    Get PDF
The growth of the halal industry at the local level shows significant dynamics; however, studies examining the determinants of operational performance in halal culinary businesses based on local wisdom remain limited. This research offers an integration of five variables social capital, halal certification ownership, innovation capability, digital transformation, and business location into a single theoretical model grounded in the Resource-Based View (RBV) to explain the operational performance of halal culinary enterprises in Ponorogo Regency. The study aims to analyze the influence of each variable on operational performance. The method employed is a mixed-methods approach with an explanatory sequential design, beginning with a qualitative phase involving in depth interviews with five business owners, analyzed using NVivo 14. The subsequent quantitative phase was conducted using SEM-PLS on 105 respondents. The findings indicate that halal certification ownership, innovation capability, and business location have a positive and significant effect on operational performance. Meanwhile, social capital and digital transformation show positive but insignificant effects. These results emphasize that halal legitimacy, innovative capability, and locational accessibility function as strategic resources capable of enhancing efficiency and operational competitiveness. In contrast, social capital and digitalization have not provided optimal contributions due to their unstructured utilization. The implications of the study highlight the need to strengthen innovation, accelerate halal certification processes, and provide policy support and digital infrastructure to improve the competitiveness of halal culinary businesses at the regional level

The Influence of Content Marketing, Online Reviews, and Customer Ratings on Purchase Intention with Customer Trust as a Moderating Factor

    Get PDF
This study investigates the influence of content marketing, online customer reviews, and customer ratings on consumers’ purchase intentions, with customer trust positioned as a moderating variable. The main contribution of this research lies in its integrated analytical framework, which simultaneously examines three key digital marketing cues within a trust-based mechanism. Moreover, this study focuses on Indonesian marketplace users, a context that remains underexplored in the existing literature, as previous studies have predominantly examined these variables separately or in different market settings. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from 322 active marketplace users in West Java aged 17 years and above. The analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling with SmartPLS 4 to evaluate both direct and indirect relationships among the constructs. The empirical findings indicate that content marketing has a significant positive effect on purchase intention; however, it does not significantly influence customer trust. In contrast, customer ratings and online customer reviews are found to have a strong and significant effect on customer trust, which subsequently enhances purchase intention. Further analysis reveals that customer trust mediates the relationship between customer ratings and purchase intention, indicating a significant indirect effect. Conversely, the indirect effects of content marketing and online customer reviews on purchase intention through customer trust are not supported. These findings suggest that trust functions selectively within digital purchasing mechanisms, rather than uniformly moderating all marketing stimuli. From a theoretical perspective, this study enriches the digital consumer behavior literature by highlighting the differentiated role of trust in shaping online purchase decisions. Practically, the results underscore the importance for marketplace platforms and online sellers to prioritize trust-building strategies, particularly through transparent rating systems and credible customer reviews, in order to effectively enhance consumers’ purchase intentions
