An Analytical Psychological Examination of Delayed Marriage Among Islamic Boarding School Students in Salatiga City
This study examines the phenomenon of marriage delay among Islamic Boarding Scholl Students (Santri) in Salatiga City through the perspectives of Islamic law and Carl Gustav Jung’s Analytical Psychology. This research is significant because it highlights the increasing tendency of Santri, a group strongly associated with high religiosity and the belief that marriage is a form of worship to postpone marriage. The phenomenon reflects a tension between traditional Islamic values and modern realities, in which financial readiness, emotional maturity, and personal development have become key considerations before marriage. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Primary data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews with 19 Santri from three Islamic boarding schools in Salatiga. Secondary data were obtained from classical Islamic literature and psychological studies on marriage. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which involves data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The analytical framework integrates Islamic legal principles are ahkāmu nikāh, istiṭā‘ah, and kafā’ah with Jung’s Analytical Psychology, particularly the concepts of psyche, archetype, and individuation. The findings reveal that Santri postpone marriage due to concerns about financial preparedness, long-term commitment, and shifting social values. From the perspective of Islamic law, such delay is considered permissible as long as it does not violate religious principles. From the perspective of Analytical Psychology, delaying marriage represents a complex psychological process that reflects deep individual consideration between religious consciousness and modern personal aspirations
Strategy for the Development of Islamic Educational Institutions at the Muhammadiyah Grobogan Institute of Business Technology
Islamic education institutions within Muhammadiyah Universities (PTM) play a strategic role in maintaining and developing Islamic values and the Muhammadiyah ideology within the academic environment. However, these institutions face various internal challenges, such as limited human resources and program innovation, as well as external challenges in the form of digital disruption, secularization of values, and changes in student characteristics. This study aims to examine the importance of strategic management in the development of Islamic education institutions in PTM using a descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed that the implementation of strategic management through the stages of strategy formulation, implementation, and evaluation can increase the effectiveness, relevance, and sustainability of the institution. Identification of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) and the use of the Balanced Scorecard approach are proven to help design policies and programs that are more measurable and impactful. This study recommends the need for visionary leadership, cross-unit collaboration, and strengthening Islamic values-based governance in realizing a superior and competitive institution amid the dynamics of higher education
Direct Method in Small Group ELT Sessions: Investigating Students’ Perceptions of Comprehension and Engagement
Direct Method is a teaching strategy that emphasizes the full use of the target language. Its application can encourage students' active engagement and in-depth understanding of the target language. However, its application in large groups has several limitations, such as limited time for individual feedback and low student participation. Therefore, the use of the Direct Method in small group sessions can improve students' comprehension and engagement in English learning. This study explored students' perceptions of the Direct Method in ELT small group sessions, focusing on comprehension and engagement. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with five English Language Education students who had experienced the application of the Direct Method in small group sessions. The results showed that the Direct Method significantly improved students' comprehension, especially in vocabulary, listening, and speaking skills, by familiarizing them with English and providing opportunities for them to express their ideas. Furthermore, the small group sessions allowed for more focused interaction between teachers and students, resulting in more detailed feedback and increased student confidence. The study also highlighted the importance of teachers as a key role in fostering student engagement through interaction, motivation, and feedback, as well as the importance of incorporating relevant and interesting learning topics to increase participation. Despite challenges related to students' varying levels of English proficiency, these findings confirm the effectiveness of the Direct Method in small group sessions in promoting active learning and improving comprehension
Yanṭiq: A proposed concept in philosophy of islamic communication
Purpose – This study aims to understand the nature of speaking from the perspective of philosophical anthropology and communication ethics, with particular emphasis on its role in reflecting human identity as al-insān al-nāṭiq (the rational and speaking being).
Method – This study employed a reflective-philosophical approach, analyzing classical and contemporary perspectives on language philosophy, communication ethics, and the degradation of speech in the context of social media and instant expression culture. The method consisted of a critical literature review and conceptual analysis rather than empirical sampling.
Result – The results showed that speaking is not merely a biological function or impulsive response but a conscious act that integrates reason, emotion, and moral responsibility. In the modern era, however, speech tends to lose depth, control, and ethical awareness, leading to risks such as misinformation, social fragmentation, and symbolic violence.
Implication – This study suggests the need to revive reflective, ethical, and intentional communication practices to strengthen social harmony, protect human dignity, and ensure that speech continues to serve as a medium of truth and genuine dialogue.
Originality/Value – This research provides a novel reinterpretation of the act of speaking within the framework of Islamicate philosophical anthropology and communication ethics, offering a critical alternative to contemporary communication practices dominated by speed and superficiality.

Lived da'wah: Temporal structuring of religious practice in Tabligh jamaat's daily congregation
Purpose - The main objective of this study is to understand the daily routine of Jemaah Tabligh deeply and to analyze how they integrate various aspects of da'wah (proselytizing) into their daily practices.
Method - This research employs a qualitative method, specifically phenomenology, and the data source consists of individual in-depth interviews. All data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique.
Result - The analysis shows that the khuruj activities carried out by the Tabligh Jamaat group are divided into four daily routines: from early morning to morning, with seven activities; in the afternoon, with six activities; in the evening, with four activities; and at night, with six activities. This demonstrates that the Jamaah Tabligh group is a highly structured, disciplined, and organized entity in its missionary work.
Implication – Based on studies of the Tabligh Jamaat movement, da'wah in the modern era can adopt several key strategies. First, it is important to establish consistent, structured routines, as demonstrated by the Tabligh Jamaat, to maintain the enthusiasm and commitment of members. Second, participatory learning methods such as halaqah should be intensified so that congregants can actively engage in discussions rather than merely passively receiving information. Third, focus on self-improvement (ishlah diri) and setting a good example (uswah hasanah), which are essential points, as da'wah must begin with oneself and be demonstrated through daily behavior. Fourth, the use of symbolic values through simple activities such as eating together can be an effective way to strengthen brotherhood and Islamic values.
Originality/Value - The originality of this study lies in its in-depth analysis of Jemaah Tabligh's daily lifestyle and da'wah routines, which emulate the Prophet Muhammad's da'wah practices, providing a unique insight into the implementation of traditional da'wah in the modern era.

Digital innovation in islamic guidance: Fuzzy mamdani-based stress level detection for muslim adolescents
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to address the urgent need for a reliable and accessible preliminary assessment tool for mental health issues among Indonesian adolescents, a demographic significantly impacted by recent societal changes and showing high rates of psychological distress (e.g., 34.9% experiencing mental problems per I-NAMHS 2022)
Method - The methodology employed is the design and development of a web-based expert system utilizing Fuzzy Logic to diagnose stress symptoms. The system is structured with four core components (User Interface, Knowledge Base, Inference Mechanism, Working Memory) and incorporates Fuzzy Tsukamoto/Mamdani/Sugeno principles for mapping firm numerical symptom inputs to linguistic variables through Fuzzification and Defuzzification processes.
Result - The result (anticipated/achieved) is a functional, dual-role web system (Admin/User) capable of providing objective, preliminary stress categorization, thereby serving as a first step toward early intervention.

Beyond Religiosity: How Social Capital Drives Institutional Zakat Payment Preferences in Indonesia - A Behavioural Economics Analysis
Notwithstanding the fact that Indonesia has the world’s largest Muslim population, zakat collection through formal institutions is substantially below expectations. In light of this shortfall, this study investigates the interplay between religiosity and social capital on individual preferences for zakat payments and the proportion allocated to official zakat agencies, with the overarching aim of contextualizing the fiqh zakat framework in contemporary Indonesia. Drawing upon the data from a nationwide survey of 794 respondents, the empirical analysis employs Linear Probability Model (LPM) and Poisson Pseudo Maximum Likelihood (PPML) regression techniques to examine the determinants of zakat payment behaviour. Findings reveal that social capital significantly increases both the likelihood of choosing zakat institutions and the portion of zakat paid through them. In contrast, religiosity shows a weaker direct effect on institutional zakat payment. Taken together, these results highlight the pivotal role of social networks and trust in enhancing institutional zakat collection. Therefore, the study advocates for a strategic reform of fiqh zakat practices that integrate social capital strategies to reinforce religiosity and improve zakat compliance through formal channels
Efficient Numerical Method for Generating Closed Form Solution for Nonlinear Bratu Differential Equations
This study presents a numerical solution of the Bratu differential equations (BDE) using the Sumudu transform series decomposition technique (STSDT). The process combines the Adomian polynomials (AP), series expansion (SE), and Sumudu transform (ST), and it ultimately converges perfectly to the exact solution. Examining four test problems demonstrates that the strategy converges more effectively than the literature-based approach. Calculations were performed using Maple 2022 software
The Emergence of Global Maritime Fulcrum Indonesia's Maritime Strategy and its Linkage with U.S Indo-Pacific Strategy and China-Belt and Road Initiative
The purpose of this paper is to understand the concept and factors behind the emergence of Indonesia's maritime strategic vision, known as the Global Maritime Fulcrum. A vision of Indonesia's maritime strategy was presented by President Joko Widodo in 2014. The emergence of the Global Maritime Fulcrum is inextricably linked to ideas, values, and norms believed to originate from Indonesia itself, as well as external influencing factors such as Indonesia's views on changes and shifts in international political dynamics in the Indo-Pacific region namely the rivalry between the United States with the Indo-Pacific Strategy and China with the belt and road initiative. The ability to recognize identity in a strategic geographical location as a maritime island state is one of the internal factors that also influenced the emergence of this idea. Other factors that also support the influence of GMF ideas include the changes in the geopolitical dynamics of the Indo-Pacific region over the last decade since the emergence of China’s strategy through the Belt and Road Initiative in 2013 it has made the situation in the Indo-Pacific region even more interesting for study. The dominance of the presence of the United States and its allies, such as Japan, India and Australia in the Indo-Pacific region began to be disrupted by the presence of China under the Belt and Road Initiative programs. Indonesia, as a country with a strategic geographical location in the Indo-Pacific region, is in the middle of the rivalry between the two major powers of the United States and China. Indonesia must recognize and keep an eye on the changing geographical and political security situation in the Indo-Pacific. The Global Maritime Fulcrum, which emerged in 2014, is the right place to know where and how Indonesia is positioned to respond
