Unlocking Potential: A Teacher's Lens on Artificial Intelligence Towards Students' Problem-Solving Skills

The advancement of information technology is opening up new avenues for integrating artificial intelligence into education. However, there is a prevailing belief that the use of AI could impact students' problem-solving abilities. This research seeks to explore teachers' perceptions regarding the potential influence of artificial intelligence on these skills. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the study involved a survey conducted with 57 participants. Data was collected through a questionnaire and subsequently analyzed descriptively. The findings reveal several key insights: (1) teachers generally agree that AI, particularly tools like ChatGPT, can enhance students’ engagement in problem-solving activities, (2) the primary challenge in implementing AI is navigating ethical concerns, and (3) students indeed benefit from the support of AI in problem-solving tasks, especially in the area of formulating solutions. These results underscore the importance of encouraging the integration of AI technologies, such as ChatGPT, into teaching methods in elementary schools. Such integration could foster a more interactive and adaptive development of students' problem-solving skills. Moreover, the positive views held by teachers about using AI in education serve as a solid foundation for creating training programs aimed at enhancing educators' knowledge and ability to effectively integrate technology into their teaching practices

    No full text
The study aims to identify variations of Arabic language program evaluation based on the multiple intelligences formative-summative model according to Michael Scriven at Markaz Arabiyah Pare, Kediri, East Java. Qualitative methods were used to collect primary and secondary data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that the evaluation of the Arabic language program refers to the formative and summative models carried out in two stages: written and oral tests, which effectively develop the linguistic, emotional, and intellectual intelligence of the santri. Data analysis uses the descriptive method proposed by Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Findings confirmed the importance of multiple intelligences-based programs in improving learning quality and student motivation. The study recommends further exploration of the effect of evaluation methods on the development of other intelligences and the program's long-term impact on students language skills

This study examines the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partnerships on empowering disabled farmers within the "Tumbuh Mandiri Cimahi" (TUMAN) Disabled Farmers Group in Indonesia. It tackles the key challenges faced by marginalized communities, including limited resources, inadequate skills, and restricted market access. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were gathered through in-depth interviews, non-participatory observation, and document analysis involving TUMAN members and relevant stakeholders. Thematic analysis indicated that CSR engagement significantly enhances participants’ agricultural skills, income security, and sense of social inclusion. The program provides customized training, adaptive farming tools, and market connections, enabling participants to attain greater economic independence. Moreover, TUMAN prioritizes local partnerships and ongoing capacity-building, which supports long-term sustainability. The findings illustrate that CSR can serve as a transformative force in disability-inclusive agripreneurship, promoting both social equity and economic resilience in rural areas. This research contributes to the discourse on inclusive community development by presenting a replicable model that integrates CSR with empowerment-focused strategies. The study offers practical insights for policymakers, development practitioners, and CSR stakeholders dedicated to advancing inclusive and sustainable rural livelihoods

The Complicated Relationship of Religious Rituals and Morality: A Critical Review

While many scholarly studies have focused on the relationship between religion and morality, religion encompasses various domains, necessitating a focused examination of religious rituals and their role in human morality. Reviewing research findings and theoretical frameworks, this article explores how rituals influence moral behavior. The investigation yields varying and sometimes contradictory empirical results form various literature, resulting in inconclusive outcomes. However, theoretical models consistently suggest that rituals affect morality through multiple mechanisms: behavioral, spiritual, behavioral-spiritual, social-interactional, and anthropological. The findings indicate that the influence of rituals on moral order and behavior is not straightforward, but instead operates through complex processes, including the performance of rituals, their sacred nature, and symbolic mechanisms that shape individual adherence to societal norms. Future research should therefore pursue interconnective investigations and multi-method approaches that integrate key ritual dimensions –such as sacredness, devotion, symbolic meaning, and social context– to provide a deeper empirical understanding of the mechanisms by which religious rituals contribute to the development of human morality

The issue of religious moderation is a government programme aimed at countering narratives, attitudes, and actions of intolerance. However, this programme is not widely disseminated in communities such as Islamic boarding schools. Activities carried out at the Jekulo Kudus Islamic Boarding School aim to empower students to promote religious moderation and tolerance. The aim is to reveal the lack of study of the works of Indonesian scholars in various Islamic boarding schools, while the works of Middle Eastern scholars still dominate. The method used is PAR, which directly involves students in studying the book Risalah Tawhid by Mbah Hasyim Asy'ari and the book Faidhul Rahman by Mbah Shaleh Darat. The findings indicate that students remain unfamiliar with Indonesian scholars, possess minimal knowledge about the moderate teachings of Nusantara scholars, and have a partial understanding of the teachings of religious moderation, both from the ministry and from religious perspectives. This article contributes to illustrating that santri need to be introduced to and taught the works of Nusantara scholars

The Transformation of Land Law in Indonesia: From Commodification to Maqāṣid and Social Justice

This article examines the transformation of Indonesian land law from the paradigm of fundamental justice embodied in the 1960 Basic Agrarian Law (UUPA) to a market-oriented framework shaped by the Omnibus Law on Job Creation and decentralization policies. This shift generates tensions between constitutional mandates, Pancasila values, customary law, and politico-economic interests that often marginalize structural justice. The study aims to analyze how these foundational values interact with Islamic legal philosophy through the maqāṣid approach to construct a more equitable and sustainable agrarian system. Employing a qualitative normative legal method combined with interpretive and comparative analysis, the research finds that a dialogical integration of UUPA principles, maqāṣid, and the social function of land can generate an alternative paradigm of land governance. The novelty lies in proposing a model emphasizing tawāzun (balance), ecological protection, and social equality. Theoretically, the article enriches global law-and-development discourse, while practically providing normative grounds for reconstructing agrarian policy toward justice and sustainability
