Mount Arjuno-Welirang is a stratovolcano type volcano with an altitude of about 3,339 m (10,955) for Mount Arjuno while for Welirang it is about 3,156. Mount Arjuno-Welirang and its surroundings are composed by rocks sourced from Anjasmoro Volcano (Early Plistocene), Ringgit-Pundak-Butak Volcano (Middle Plistocene), Arjuno-Welirang Twin Volcanoes I and II (Late Plistocene), and Penanggungan Volcano. This research includes data processing and interpretation of the results of data processing. This research was conducted using geophysical methods, namely the gravity method. The theoretical basis used is Newton's Law. Data in the form of gravity data that has been downloaded on the Land Gravity Data Website which is then processed using Surfer software, then the Magpick Software Upward Continuation process is carried out. After that, the slicing process is carried out on the residual anomaly, then the slicing results will be used to interpret using Grav2DC Software qualitatively based on the geological map as a reference. The interpretation results on the A-B and C-D tracks obtained 4 rock layers, namely volcanic breccia, lava, tuff breccia, and tuff rock. With an error value of 8.25% for incision A-B, and 3.63% for incision C-D
Unveiling the Impact of Problem-Based Learning on Students’ Science Process Skills and Cognitive Outcomes
Problem-based learning (PBL) is an approach based on real-world problems that trains students to think scientifically, conduct investigations, and construct knowledge logically based on evidence. Through empirical experiences and complex problem-solving, students can improve their SPS and learning outcomes. This study aims: 1) to determine the effect of a PBL model on SPS and cognitive learning outcomes; 2) to determine the relationship between SPS and cognitive learning outcomes among students at MAN 1 West Lombok. This research method is a quantitative type of quasi-experimental research with a non-equivalent posttest control group design. The sample was 50 students in class X. The research instrument used observation sheets and tests. The data were analyzed using Manova and simple linear regression. Research has shown that PBL has a positive and significant effect on students’ SPS and cognitive learning outcomes. Furthermore, SPS play a mediating role between PBL and cognitive learning outcomes. PBL enhances students’ SPS, which in turn positively influence their learning outcome
Negotiating the New Moon: Social Media and the Dynamics of Hijri Calendar Determination among Muslims
Social media has become a primary platform for Muslims to access religious information, including the determination of the Hijri month, which is central to worship such as Ramadan fasting, Eid al-Fitr, and Eid al-Adha. This study explores how social media shapes understandings and debates regarding the ḥisāb and rukyat methods for marking the start of the Hijri month. Using a netnographic approach, data were collected from various platforms and analyzed through content analysis to identify dominant narratives, information patterns, and forms of debate in the digital sphere. Findings reveal three modes of understanding: academic-scientific (based on astronomical data and ḥisāb), normative-textual (rooted in classical arguments and religious authority), and popular (driven by public opinion, humor, and satire). Debates are fragmented into scientific-argumentative, emotional-narrative, and humorous-satirical forms, shaped by authoritative, semi-authoritative, and lay actors. The study concludes that social media plays a dual role: enhancing digital literacy in Islamic astronomy while simultaneously intensifying discourse polarization, highlighting the need for inclusive religious communication strategies
From Policy to Quality: The Director's Strategy in Enhancing Service Quality at Islamic Boarding School
The rapid growth of educational institutions, particularly Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), requires effective management strategies to improve service quality. Nevertheless, few studies have examined the director’s strategic role in managing facilities and infrastructure to enhance pesantren services, considering the unique complexities of this educational context.. This qualitative study investigates how the director of Pondok Karya Pembangunan (PKP) Al-Hidayah in Jambi Province formulates, implements, and evaluates strategies for service quality improvement, with a particular focus on developing the facilities and infrastructure of pesantren. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and internal documentation analysis. Findings indicate that the director employs a comprehensive strategic approach. Planning involves internal/external analysis, strategy selection, and policy formulation for facility quality. Implementation utilizes a holistic method through a dedicated coordinator, diversified funding, external collaborations, proactive maintenance, enhanced human resource capacity, and master plan development. Evaluation is conducted via a supervision program (observations/reports), routine meetings, and periodic physical audits. This research highlights effective leadership and management practices crucial for ensuring service quality in religious educational institutions amidst dynamic changes
The Role of Women in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Through Village Action Plans/Rencana Aksi Desa (RADes)
Women play a crucial role in accelerating the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 5, which focuses on gender equality. At the village level, women's participation in planning and policy formulation through the Village Action Plan (RADes). This research employs a descriptive-analytical method, collecting data from literature, policies, regulations, statistical reports, and studies related to women's empowerment and the implementation of the SDGs in the village. The results show that women make a significant contribution to village development achievements, including improvements in the quality of human resources, family welfare, and environmental sustainability. However, limited representation of women in decision-making forums, gender-biased social norms, budget planning that is not fully gender responsive, and limited disaggregated data are still obstacles. The Village SDGs, the Women-Friendly and Child-Caring Village (DRPPA) program, and RADes demonstrate positive developments in expanding women's leadership and promoting peaceful, gender-equitable village governance. Therefore, strengthening gender mainstreaming, capacity building, institutional support, and monitoring mechanisms are needed to ensure women's transformative role in sustainable development at the village level
Strategi pelestarian naskah kuno di Indonesia dalam tinjauan literatur sistematis
Purpose. This study aims to examine the preservation of ancient manuscripts in Indonesia through a systematic review of academic literature over the past decade. These manuscripts, which hold historical, cultural, and educational significance, face growing threats due to climate change, physical degradation, and limited public awareness.
Methodology. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this study analysed 30 peer-reviewed articles published between 2010 and 2023. Articles were selected from open-access databases (Google Scholar, ResearchGate, and Garuda) using specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. The PRISMA flow diagram guided the selection process, and thematic analysis was used to synthesize the findings.
Results and discussion. Findings indicate that manuscript preservation in Indonesia follows two major approaches: physical conservation (e.g., fumigation, environmental control) and digital preservation (e.g., high-resolution scanning, metadata development). While digitalization enhances access and reduces handling-related damage, it is hindered by outdated file formats, limited infrastructure, lack of skilled personnel, and legal uncertainties. Community-based efforts, cultural values, and institutional collaborations (such as those in Rekso Pustaka and Ranggawarsita Museum) demonstrate practical and adaptive models for sustainable preservation.
Conclusions. The study recommends integrating physical and digital methods in a balanced and context-sensitive strategy. It emphasizes the importance of strengthening institutional capacity, expanding professional training, encouraging local participation, and ensuring policy support to sustain long-term preservation efforts across diverse cultural settings
Utilitarianism in The Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) Program Policy
This research discusses the application of the principle of utilitarianism in the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) Program policy in Indonesia which aims to provide legal certainty and improve community welfare through land certification. Data shows that until 2021, there are 54 million parcels of land that have not been certified, which has the potential to cause agrarian conflicts and gaps in economic access. The utilitarianism approach is used to analyze the impact of the program on the benefits for the wider community. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach and uses secondary data from various official sources. The results show that PTSL has provided significant benefits, such as reduced land conflicts and improved economic access. On the other hand, there are still challenges in implementation, such as illegal levies and lack of transparency. Therefore, it is necessary to emphasize the importance of monitoring and improving the quality of program implementation to maximize benefits for the community

Financial Benefits from The Millennial Generation in Choosing Islamic Mortgages: Do Digital Marketing Channels Matter?
The slow provision of houses or residences that are not balanced with the number needed has led to a backlog in Indonesia. As a result, house prices are getting higher, making it difficult for the lower middle class. This problem has become a burden for millennials when building an ideal family with affordable housing. Many think owning a house is a dream that is difficult to realize. To overcome this, the government has tried to provide homeownership credit (kredit pemilikan rumah-KPR) or mortgage loans to provide subsidies for affordable housing in conventional and Sharia or Islamic contracts. Unlike conventional mortgages, Islamic mortgages have a contract as a sale, purchase, or cooperation, not an interest-bearing debt. This study investigates whether financial benefits and digital marketing channels influence the millennial generation's decision to use Islamic mortgages. The research sample consisted of 131 BTN Syariah bank customers born between 1981 and 1996. Our PLS-SEM analysis revealed that financial benefits and digital marketing channels directly affect choosing Islamic mortgages. However, the interaction between the two variables does not have a significant effect. The possibility behind this result is that financial benefits are the main attribute that stands alone regardless of whether it is communicated through digital marketing channels. Therefore, this study suggests that bank managers and stakeholders strive to improve the financial benefits of Islamic mortgages as a core value to attract consumers. In addition, they also need to properly manage the digital marketing channels they have to provide a positive impression
