    Level of Understanding of Financial Knowledge, Financial Management Behavior and Self-Control

    Abstract. The aim of this research is to see the level of students\u27 understanding regarding financial knowledge, financial management behavior and self-control. The population in this study were students studying at state and private universities in North Maluku Province. The sample in this study was determined using purposive sampling with the condition that the students were scholarship recipients from Bank Indonesia (BI), totalling 137 respondents. The analytical tool used in this research is descriptive statistics. The research results show that students\u27 understanding of financial knowledge, financial management behavior and self-control is good, they only need to improve their financial management regarding the ease of obtaining loans because they always pay bills on time. Apart from that, they are more protective of themselves by prioritizing needs over desires when shopping. At the end of this research, conclusions and suggestions for further research are also discussed

    PROVIDING LIQUID TOFU WASTE, RICE WASH, FRUIT AND EGG SHELLS CAN INCREASE TOMATO PLANT PRODUCTION IN DRY LANDS

    Tomatoes are climbing plants. The aim is whether there are differences in vegetative, generative and productive growth at various concentrations with various waste applications. Tofu waste, rice water, fruit and egg shells are waste that encourage accelerated growth, flowering, fruiting, ripening, production and resistance to disease while reducing soil damage due to chemical fertilizers. This research uses RAK, namely 5 treatments, repetitions of 3 to 15 experiments. The results of various liquid wastes with different concentrations have a real influence on all plant height, primary, secondary, flower and fruit branch characteristics. Treatment of egg shell liquid waste with a dose of 1000 ml resulted in the best tomato production in all plant height observations 34.00 cm observed at 21 DAT, 44.00 cm observed at 28 DAP, 56.00 cm observed at 35 DAP, 71.00 cm observed at 42 DAP, 85.00 cm gain 49 HST, 83.00 cm observation 56 HST. The character of the number of primary branches obtained was 4 primary branches, 32 secondary branches, 25 flowers, 19 fruits in the first harvest, 21 in the second harvest, 20 in the third harvest, and the character weight was 92g in the first harvest, 73g for the second harvest and 99g for the third harvest

    Unemployment Concentration and Its Determinants In Java island Provinces In 2008-2022

    The study aims to analyze the unemployment concentration in the provinces of Java from 2008 to 2022, as well as the influence of population growth, provincial minimum wages, economic growth, and industrial volume on the unemployed concentration of the province of Java between 2008 and 2022. The data used in this study are secondary data published by the Central Statistical Agency. The study uses cross sections of six provinces with time series of 2008-2022. The method used in this study is a concentration index to calculate unemployment concentration and panel data regression to determine the influence of independent variables on dependent variables. The results of this study show that the provinces of DKI Jakarta, West Java, and Banten have a greater than national role in unemployment issues and become the unemployed base provinces in Java Island. Panel data regression results show that population growth variables have a positive and significant influence on the population concentration, provincial minimum wage variables and economic growth have a negative and significant impact on the unemployee concentration

    Herpes zoster disease or what we often know as shingles is an acute and localized inflammation of the skin, especially in the elderly, which is typically characterized by unilateral radicular pain (lumbar pain) and the appearance of vesicular lesions (injury) that are limited to the dermatome (area of ​​the spine). the skin) which are innervated by spinal nerve fibers (spine) and ganglion (tissue that connects muscles to bones) sensory nerve fibers (cells or organs) from the cranial nerves (nervous system). Usually characterized by the appearance of red bubbles such as small blisters that cluster on the surface of the skin and are watery and accompanied by itching and burning. Breadth first search (BFS) is an algorithm that performs a broad search that visits nodes on a preorder basis, namely visiting a vertex then visits all the vertices that are adjacent to that vertex first. Furthermore, the nodes that have not been visited and are neighbors to the previously visited nodes, and so on. The results of this study indicate that the Breadth First Search (BFS) method can predict disease. Whether it\u27s mild Herpes Zoster, moderate Herpes Zoster, and severe Herpes Zoster, by utilizing tracking with a decision tree every symptom and Herpes Zoster disease is asked. In the design shows every condition added to the system will be processed. If all conditions have been met or all rules have been executed based on the queue then the session ends.Penyakit Herpes Zoster atau yang sering kita kenal dengan sebutan cacar ular adalah radang kulit akut dan setempat, terutama terjadi pada orang tua yang khas ditandai dengan adanya nyeri radikiuler unilateral (nyeri bagian pinggang) serta timbulnya lesi vesikuler (cedera) yang terbatas pada dermatom (area kulit) yang dipersarafi serabut saraf spinal (tulang belakang) maupun ganglion (jaringan yang menghubungkan otot ke tulang) serabut saraf sensorik (sel atau organ) dari nervus krainialis (sistem saraf). Biasanya ditandai dengan munculnya gelembung-gelembung berwarna merah seperti lepuhan-lepuhan kecil yang berkelompok pada permukaan kulit dan berair serta di barengi dengan rasa gatal serta panas. Breadth first search (BFS) adalah algoritma yang melakukan pencarian secara melebar yang mengunjungi simpul secara preorder yaitu mengunjungi suatu simpul kemudian mengunjungi semua simpul yang bertetangga dengan simpul tersebut terlebih dahulu. Selanjutnya, simpul yang belum dikunjungi dan bertetangga dengan simpul-simpul yang tadi dikunjungi, demikian seterusnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa metode Breadth First Search (BFS) dapat melakukan predikisi penyakit. Baik itu penyakit Herpes Zoster tingkat ringan, Herpes Zoster tingkat sedang, dan Herpes Zoster tingkat berat, dengan memanfaatkan pelacakan dengan pohon keputusan disetiap gejala dan penyakit Herpes Zoster yang di tanyakan.Dalam perancangan menunjukkan setiap kondisi yang ditambahkan ke sistem akan diproses.     Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalis permasalahan pencurian satwa, padahal sudah ada payung hukum yang mengamanatkan akan pentingnya perlindungan keanekaragaman satwa di Taman Nasional Alas Purwo sebagai warisan dunia. Undang-Undang tersebut belum diimplementasikan secara maksimal, dibuktikan masih maraknya kegiatan perburuan satwa burung. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Instrumen dalam penelitian kualitatif adalah peneliti itu sendiri. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Analisa data menggunakan model interaktif yang terdiri atas empat komponen  proses analisis, melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlindungan hukum terhadap satwa burung dalam hukum positif adalah perlindungan yang diberikan dalam aturan perundang-undangan, supaya tidak terjadi kepunahan satwa endemi

    Ocean waste is currently a global problem in the environment, especially plastic waste. It can harm living things (such as human, coastal fauna and flora) and marine transportation systems. This activity aims to socialize and assist coastal resident in Sasa Village with giving knowledge and awaken public awareness about the dangers of plastic waste in the community, Beside that, the team also inviting the community to participate in cleaning coastal area in Sasa Village. To achieve this aims, activities have been carried out: socialization and beach clean-up actions. The results obtained from this activities are as follows: (1) The socialization activity went well and received a positive response from residents in Sasa Village (2) The beach clean-up activity was carried out together with several students and local residents. The results of the waste collection collected were 20 bags of rubbish.Sampah pantai saat ini menjadi masalah besar di lingkungan. Terutama sampah jenis plastik karena dapat membahayakan makhluk hidup (manusia, hewan, dan tumbuhan) dan sistem transportasi laut. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan dan mendampingi warga pesisir pantai Kelurahan Sasa dengan pengetahuan dan menanamkan kesadaran tentang bahaya sampah plastik ke masyarakat dan mengajak masyarakat untuk ikut serta dalam kebersihan daerah pesisir, terutama pantai. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut telah dilakukan kegiatan sosialisasi dan aksi bersih pantai. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Kegiatan sosialisasi berjalan dengan baik dan mendapat respon positif dari warga di Kelurahan Sasa (2) Kegiatan aksi bersih pantai dilakukan bersama dengan beberapa mahasiswa dan warga sekitar.     The Kendari Bay mangrove ecosystem has an important role in maintaining the balance of coastal and marine ecosystems, especially as a natural protector from coastal erosion and seawater abrasion, as well as a habitat for various flora and fauna. However, these ecosystems continue to face pressure from human activities, such as deforestation for ponds, reclamation, and coastal development, which are exacerbated by climate change. This community service aims to increase awareness of mangrove sustainability in Kendari Bay, by involving religious extension workers and youth organizations. This activity included socialization about the importance of mangrove conservation and the planting of 300 mangrove seedlings in the area. Religious extension workers, as pioneers in the community, have an important role in spreading a culture of caring for the environment. Similarly, youth organizations act as agents of change that promote the values of environmental care among members and the wider community. Through the collaboration between Halu Oleo University, the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Southeast Sulawesi, and the Ansor Youth Movement, this program is expected to be able to create conservation cadres and build a culture of caring for the environment. This effort not only focuses on mangrove planting, but also integrates religious and youth values in conservation practices. Thus, this program contributes to the preservation of sustainable mangrove ecosystems in Kendari BayEkosistem mangrove Teluk Kendari memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem pantai dan laut, terutama sebagai pelindung alami dari erosi pantai dan abrasi air laut, serta habitat bagi berbagai flora dan fauna. Namun, ekosistem ini terus menghadapi tekanan dari aktivitas manusia, seperti deforestasi untuk tambak, reklamasi, dan pembangunan pesisir, yang diperparah oleh perubahan iklim. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran akan kelestarian mangrove di Teluk Kendari, dengan melibatkan penyuluh agama dan organisasi kepemudaan. Kegiatan ini mencakup sosialisasi tentang pentingnya konservasi mangrove dan penanaman 300 bibit mangrove di kawasan tersebut. Penyuluh agama, sebagai pelopor di masyarakat, memiliki peran penting dalam menyebarkan budaya peduli lingkungan. Demikian pula, organisasi kepemudaan berperan sebagai agen perubahan yang mempromosikan nilai-nilai kepedulian lingkungan di kalangan anggota dan masyarakat yang lebih luas. Melalui kolaborasi antara Universitas Halu Oleo, Kantor Wilayah Kementerian Agama Sulawesi Tenggara, dan Gerakan Pemuda Ansor, program ini diharapkan mampu menciptakan kader konservasi dan membangun budaya peduli lingkungan. Upaya ini tidak hanya berfokus pada penanaman mangrove, tetapi juga mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keagamaan dan kepemudaan dalam praktik konservasi.     West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) is an area that has abundant agricultural resources apart from the tourism sector. Generally, the climate in NTB is tropical, which is in the southern part of Lombok, namely in the Central Lombok area. The technique of determining the location and population was carried out using a purposive sampling method, meaning that the population used as a research sample was a population that met specific sample criteria according to the research objectives, and what had to be represented depended on the assessment or considerations of the researcher. Meanwhile, the data analysis used was descriptive data analysis, quantitative with multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, and F-tests, and qualitative descriptive analysis using interview techniques with questionnaires, counseling, and FGD. The stages of the research are surveys, interviews, distribution of respondents, forum group discussion (FGD), counseling, and evaluation. Land conversion, excessive use of pesticides, and burning of crop residues were carried out on this basis by the Forum Group Discussion (FGD), which aims to provide solutions to existing problems. From the results of multiple linear regression testing, there is a significant relationship between the variable Y (level of agricultural productivity) in Pujut District and the factors that cause a decrease in soil quality or soil degradation (variable X) that occurs at the research location with the results of the regression equation, namely Y=5,398+0.97X1+0.125X2+0886X3+0.861X4. The regression equation results show a strong relationship between the decline in soil quality and the factors causing the decline in soil quality in the Pujut sub-district.   Keywords: Agricultural Productivity; Dry Area; Soil Qualit

    The Effect of Mangosteen Peel Extract Concentration as a Corrosion Inhibitor on Low Carbon Steel in NaCl Media

    This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of mangosteen peel extract as a corrosion inhibitor on low carbon steel in a NaCl environment. Corrosion of low carbon steel is a significant issue in the industry, especially in chloride-containing environments. The weight loss method was used to measure the corrosion rate, while the form of corrosion was examined using the photomacro method with a digital microscope. The research was conducted by immersing low carbon steel specimens in a NaCl solution. The experimental research method involved corrosion testing on mild steel plates in a NaCl 3% solution with varying concentrations of mangosteen peel extract (100 ppm, 200 ppm, 300 ppm, 500 ppm, 600 ppm). The results show that the mangosteen peel extract is effective in reducing the corrosion rate, with a concentration of 200 ppm showing the highest inhibition efficiency. Analysis indicates an increase in corrosion resistance, suggesting the formation of a protective layer by the extract on the steel surface. The conclusion of this study is that mangosteen peel extract has potential as an environmentally friendly and effective corrosion inhibitor for the protection of low carbon steel in chloride-containing media. Further research is recommended to optimize the formulation and application of the extract on an industrial scale

    Kupu-kupu adalah bagian dari ekosistem yang fungsinya mempertahankan keseimbangan ekosistem dan memperkaya keanekaragaman hayati. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi habitat kupu-kupu dan menganalisis keanekaragaman jenis kupu-kupu di Sungai Oba. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi atau pengamatan langsung di lapangan. Identifikasi habitat dengan mengamati vegetasi, suhu, dan kelembapan. Pengumpulan data kupu-kupu dilakukan dengan metode kombinasi yaitu gabungan dari metode kualitatif dan metode kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu indeks keanekaragaman jenis, indeks kemerataan jenis, dan indeks kekayaan jenis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis vegetasi yang ditemukan di sungai Oba diantaranya Pinang hutan, Sukun hutan (Artocarpus elasticus). Aren (Arenga pinata), Siri hutan (Piper aduncun), Kayu soro (Ficus exasperate), paku raja (Polystichum setiferm), Kananga (Cananga odorata), Gosale (Syzygium malaccense), Jabon (Antochepalus cadamba), Sengon (Albizia chinensis), Benuang laki (Duabanga moluccana), Binuang bini (Octomeles sumatrana), Pisang hutan (Musa acuminate), Matoa (Pometia pinnata), Beringin (Ficus benjamina), Rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum), Awar-awar (Ficus septica), Gofasa (Vitex cofassus), Kayu bugis (Koordersiodendron pinnatum), dan Pala (Myristica fragrans).
