The Effectiveness Of People's Business Credit (KUR) In Sugarcane Farming In West Java Province
People's Business Credit (KUR) is a credit scheme intended for farmers since 2000. The availability of credit for business actors is used to increase capital. However, not all credit obtained can be categorized as effective. Credit is effective if farmers can receive benefits from the disbursement and use of credit to meet farming activities, and one of which is increasing productivity.. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of KUR for sugarcane farmers in West Java Province. This research uses a quantitative descriptive analysis method using scoring. The results showed that the average score of timely credit effectiveness was 103%.. The timeliness score is greater than 100%, meaning that the average credit is on time. Credit is already available before farmers start farming, so that on average, all farming activities can be carried out on time, except for the procurement of fertilizer and cultivation costs. The average accuracy of the amount of credit with the realization of expenditure is 85%, below 100%. This means that credit for the procurement of inputs and farming activities is still not effective, especially for the amount of fertilizer and herbicides. The level of effectiveness of sugarcane farmer credit is at a score of 87.3% to 106.1%, with an average farmer credit effectiveness rate of 94%. This means that, on average, farmers have credit that is ineffective. Most farmers are late in receiving credit disbursements, and the amount of credit received is less than their farming needs.

Dog Ecological Characteristics and Their Association with Rabies-Transmitting Animal Bites in the Sajingan and Entikong Border West Kalimantan: A Cross-Sectional Study
Background: Rabies endemicity in the border regions of West Kalimantan (Sajingan and Entikong) poses a significant public health risk, yet data on local risk factors remain limited. Understanding the ecological determinants of dogs associated with rabies-transmitting animal bites (GHPR) is crucial for effective control. This study aimed to identify dog ecological factors associated with GHPR incidents in these border areas. Methods: This study utilized an analytical cross-sectional design, conducted from January to March 2024. A sample of 348 respondents (dog owners or heads of households) in the Sajingan and Entikong regions was selected using a purposive sampling technique based on GHPR case high-risk areas. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using the chi-square test and multivariate logistic regression.Result: The analysis revealed significant associations between dog sex (p=0.002), ownership status/origin (p=0.001), and dog function (p<0.001) with GHPR incidents. Male dogs, stray (unowned) dogs, and dogs used for hunting were identified as having a significantly higher risk of involvement in bite incidents. Conclusion: Ecological factors are key determinants of GHPR in this border region. This finding implies that generalized rabies control strategies are insufficient. Public health interventions, including targeted mass vaccination and population management (e.g., sterilization), must be specifically prioritized for the sub-populations of male, stray, and hunting dogs to interrupt the transmission chain in this high-risk transboundary area

Relationship Between the Degree of Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) among Female Students’s Haemoglobin levels
Background: Red blood cells include a protein called haemoglobin, which is responsible for transporting carbon dioxide gas (CO2) from the tissues back to the lungs and oxygen (O2) from the lungs to every part of the body. Low hemoglobin levels may impact numerous bodily functions related to hemoglobin. One of the symptoms of Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) is menstrual pain, which low haemoglobin levels can bring on because they can reduce the amount of oxygen in the blood and stimulate the myometrium’s decreased blood flow. This leads to an increase in uterine muscle contraction. For one or two weeks before menstruation, women experience a collection of physical, emotional, and behavioural symptoms known as PMS, which arises during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle. Students are generally in a transition phase where learning activities and imbalanced hormones trigger stress, thus worsening PMS levels. Objective: Determining the correlation between haemoglobin levels and the intensity of PMS in students. An observational analytical research design was used in this study. The group consisted of all students who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria and comprised the sample. To choose the sample, basic random sampling was employedMethods: An observational analytical research design was used to investigate. The analysis’s findings demonstrated a correlation between haemoglobin levels and the intensity of PMS among female students aged 20 to 23 years old enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine at Wijaya Kusuma University in Surabaya. Results: Haemoglobin levels and the severity of Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) among students were shown to be related, according to the analysis’s findings. The Spearman Correlation test sig result of 0,002 (<0,05) demonstrates this. Conclusion: This indicates a correlation between haemoglobin levels and the severity of PMS among female medical students in Wijaya Kusuma University of Surabaya.
