Factors Influencing Hospital Nurses’ Performance in Relation to Clinical Authority: A Literature Review
Hospital nurses’ performance within their clinical authority is essential for patient safety and care quality. Evidence from studies published between 2021 and 2025 indicates that performance is shaped by interactions between organizational, individual, and environmental factors rather than individual competence alone. This literature review synthesized empirical qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods studies examining determinants of nurses’ performance, including leadership, workload, empowerment, and work environment. Articles were systematically searched, screened, and thematically analyzed. Four key determinants emerged: supportive clinical leadership as the most influential factor; manageable workloads that reduce role conflict in clinical practice; structural empowerment and professional autonomy that encourage innovative behavior; and a positive organizational or team climate that supports collaboration. Major barriers included hierarchical organizational cultures, resource limitations, and lack of mentorship. Environmental considerations were frequently deprioritized due to time pressure and insufficient institutional support. Overall, nurses’ performance within their clinical authority is governed by a complex interplay of leadership, workload, empowerment, and organizational climate. Targeted organizational strategies and further research in diverse healthcare contexts are required to optimize nursing performance and maintain high-quality patient care

Pemanfaatan Lahan Pertanian Desa Teuladan, Aceh Besar untuk Budidaya Nilam Berkelanjutan
The global demand for patchouli oil as a raw material in the perfume industry is considerably high. However, the supply from exporting countries, particularly Indonesia, remains suboptimal. Aceh Province, one of Indonesia's key producers of patchouli oil, has been expanding its patchouli farming areas as a strategy to enhance productivity. Nevertheless, not all agricultural lands are suitable for patchouli cultivation. Therefore, it is essential to identify agricultural land resources that are ideal and sustainable for patchouli farming. The utilization of new potential lands could positively impact patchouli oil productivity. Land identification and mapping were carried out through observations and by utilizing candidate land indicator instruments. These indicators include land quality, land type, accessibility, land security systems, drainage systems, water sources, groundwater quality, and vulnerability to natural disasters. This article outlines the stages of community engagement activities conducted to identify the potential for patchouli farming in Teuladan Village, Lembah Seulawah Subdistrict, Aceh Besar Regency. The process involved program socialization, focus group discussions (FGDs), and interviews with farmers using candidate land surveys. The findings indicate that the agricultural land in Teuladan Village is suitable for sustainable patchouli cultivation. With the availability of ideal land and sufficient knowledge of proper patchouli cultivation practices, it is anticipated that high-quality patchouli oil can be produced. This will directly contribute to improving the welfare of the local community, particularly the farmers in Teuladan Village

A Robust Hybrid Cost Sensitive Stacking Ensemble Model for Hepatitis Survival Prediction and Clinical Decision Support
Chronic hepatitis continues to pose a significant global health challenge, frequently advancing to liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma if not managed with precise prognostic interventions. The capacity to accurately predict patient survival is essential for optimizing resource allocation and treatment planning. Although Machine Learning (ML) has shown promise in medical diagnostics, standard algorithms often underperform when applied to hepatitis datasets characterized by severe class imbalance and high dimensionality. Conventional models tend to bias predictions toward the majority class (survival), resulting in a high rate of False Negatives for the minority class (mortality), which is clinically unacceptable. Moreover, single-classifier approaches often lack the generalization capability necessary for robust clinical deployment. To address these deficiencies, this study proposes a Hybrid Cost-Sensitive Stacking Ensemble Model (HCS-SEM). The framework integrates three strategic components: (1) a rigorous Split-First Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE) protocol to resolve class skewness without data leakage; (2) a Chi-Square feature ranking mechanism to eliminate redundant clinical attributes; and (3) a Two-Tier Stacking Architecture employing Random Forest, SVM, and Gradient Boosting as base learners, optimized by a Logistic Regression meta-learner. Experimental validation on the UCI Hepatitis dataset demonstrates that HCS-SEM significantly outperforms standalone classifiers and traditional ensemble methods. The model achieves superior performance metrics, particularly in Sensitivity and F1-Score, confirmed by the Friedman Rank Test and Nemenyi post-hoc analysis. These findings suggest that the proposed HCS-SEM provides a robust, clinically viable tool for hepatitis prognosis, offering high-precision decision support for medical practitioners managing high-risk patients
