Integration of Sharia Economy, Green Economy, and Sustainable Development Goals
This study analyzes the integration of sharia economics, green economy, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in strengthening the sustainable development model in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis, this study found that sharia principles such as justice, balance, and benefit are aligned with the green economy agenda that emphasizes resource efficiency and environmental protection. The findings indicate that the implementation of Sharia financial instruments, such as productive zakat, green waqf, and green sukuk, significantly strengthens the funding of sustainable development projects and increases community participation. The coherence between the values of maqasid al-shariah and the SDGs targets makes sharia economics an effective ethical platform in the transition to low-carbon development. This study concludes that Sharia-green integration is a strategic approach to achieving inclusive and resilient development, although challenges remain, including limited regulations, inadequate institutional capacity, and limited public understanding. Recommendations for further research include the use of mixed methods, expanding the study to the halal industry sector, and developing an integrative theoretical framework based on maqasid and SDGs indicators
Marriage Guidance as an Effort to Prevent Divorce from the Perspective of Islamic Family Law: A Study at the Bandung City AMCDP (Agency for Marriage Counselling, Development, and Preservation)
This study examines the implementation of marriage guidance at the Bandung City AMCDP (Agency for Marriage Counselling, Development, and Preservation)’—known as BP4 (Badan Penasihatan, Pembinaan, dan Pelestarian Perkawinan)—as a preventive mechanism against divorce, analyzed through psychological, sociocultural, and Islamic legal perspectives. Using a qualitative case-study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with institutional leaders, observations of counselling sessions, and documentation of program guidelines. The findings demonstrate that AMCDP employs a multilayered guidance model comprising premarital education, post-marital enrichment, conflict counselling, spiritual strengthening, and structured mediation. These practices integrate psychological intervention skills—such as communication training and emotional-regulation techniques—with Islamic ethical principles, including iṣlāḥ, muʻāsharah bi al-maʻrūf, and the preservation of marriage as mīṡāqan ghalīẓan. The institution also plays a mediational role mandated by Indonesian marriage law, particularly in pre-divorce reconciliation procedures. The study concludes that AMCDP represents a hybrid institution bridging religious norms, legal mandates, and psychosocial realities to strengthen marital resilience. This model contributes to Islamic family-law scholarship by demonstrating how classical jurisprudential principles can be operationalized into contemporary counselling practice to prevent divorce
Directive Speech Acts in Islamic Academic Discourse: Can Pragmatic Analysis Reveal Islamic-Specific Politeness Patterns?
In global higher education, classroom interaction has become a central concern in understanding how language practices shape participation, authority, and learning effectiveness. Directive speech acts, as a key component of academic discourse, play a crucial role in managing interaction and facilitating instructional processes across diverse cultural and institutional settings. This study aims to examine the usage and functions of directive speech acts among students in an Islamic higher education learning environment. Employing a qualitative case study approach, the research analyzed recorded classroom interactions involving 48 students from the Indonesian Language Tadris Study Program at Sultan Muhammad Syafiuddin Sambas University (UNISSAS), West Kalimantan. Data were collected through classroom observation and documentation and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results identified 78 instances of directive speech acts classified into six functional categories: requests (26.92%), commands (23.08%), invitations (15.38%), prohibitions (14.10%), suggestions (11.54%), and advice (8.97%). Requests and commands emerged as the most dominant forms, reflecting the instructional orientation of classroom discourse and students’ efforts to ensure participation and mutual understanding. In conclusion, directive speech acts function not only as pragmatic tools but also as ethical communicative strategies in Islamic academic contexts. The study implies that strengthening pragmatic awareness in Islamic education can promote effective, respectful, and harmonious classroom communication aligned with Islamic values
Development of Arabic Language Learning Based on CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) and Flash Cards
This research aims to develop Arabic language teaching materials based on Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL), utilizing the Moodle platform. Moodle will incorporate vocabulary, reading texts, dialogues, and exercises tailored to the curriculum of MTs Al-Muslihuun Tlogo Blitar. Additionally, Moodle will include images, animations, and online quizzes related to the speaking skill (maharah kalam). This CALL implementation will be integrated with vocabulary games in the form of Flashcards. The research employs the ADDIE model developed by Reiser and Margareth Mollenda. The Moodle platform is designed by analyzing the needs for teaching materials, referring to the independent curriculum for the ninth grade of Madrasah Tsanawiyah under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The embedded videos are sourced from YouTube.com, while animations are obtained from social media platforms. Exercises and Flashcards are designed using Canva.com premium and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. Quizzes are created using Quizizz.com, Kahoot.com, Owl Quiz, Wordwall, Fyrebox, and Baamboozle. The product trial demonstrated student acceptance and satisfaction, achieving a rate of 93.5%. Summary of statistical results: There was an increase in the average value (mean) between the pre-treatment and post-treatment periods. The initial mean value, measured through the pre-test, was 60.22, while the post-test mean value, following the treatment, showed a significant increase to 78.70. That indicates that the intervention had a positive effect
Islamic Apologetics and the Commodification of Religion in the Digital Public Space
Insights on the digital transformation of Islamic preaching in Indonesia, for example, highlight how religious practice gets enmeshed with social media\u27s symbolic economy. In this paper, I examine the transition from da’wah to digital commodity in Islamic apologetics through the channel Bang Zuma Official on YouTube, and how faith, authority, and algorithms intersect in the digital public sphere. This study adopts a qualitative interpretive method, building on the analytics of Robert Entman’s (1993) framing analysis and Vincent Mosco’s (2009) theory of media commodification. The main data are collected from the video “Penyesat Itu Bergelar Yesus Kristus.. Siapa Pengikutnya???”(published March 6, 2025). They are, meaning structure or ideological representation, and the forms of commodification of religion in Bang Zuma’s apologetic discourse. The results indicate that Bang Zuma conceptualizes Islam as the ultimate truth and other religions in terms of epistemological distortions. His rhetorical style connects theological argumentation with digital aesthetics, rendering da’wah an ideological spectacle. Three forms of commodification are identified: content (theological messages simplified for viral status), audience (those who consume or engage via donations act out digital fatigue and labour), and indeed the preachers themselves as spiritual labour modified in relation to algorithmic concerns
Determination of Attitudes and Intentions to Adopt Mobile Banking of Sharia Banking Customers in Greater Bandung: Technology Acceptance Model and Religiosity Approach
This study identifies key variables, such as perceived usefulness, ease of use, trust, and security, that influence attitudes toward mobile banking and their impact on adoption intentions. TAM has been widely used in previous studies, but few have examined how religiosity can moderate the relationship between these factors in the context of Islamic banking. By considering the Islamic values that underlie financial decision-making by Islamic customers, this study is expected to provide a more holistic understanding of technology adoption in Islamic banking. A survey was conducted with 209 respondents in Greater Bandung, and the data were analyzed using SEM-PLS. The results showed that perceived usefulness and ease of use significantly influenced attitudes toward mobile banking, while trust, security, and religiosity did not. However, religiosity proved to have a highly significant effect on adoption intentions, while attitude had no effect. These findings confirm that the adoption of Islamic mobile banking is more influenced by religiosity than by users\u27 attitudes toward technolog
Factors Influencing In-Game Impulse Purchase Among Last War: Survival Game Players
This study aims to analyze the psychological factors that affect impulse buying behavior in the mobile strategy game Last War: Survival, specifically the influence of competitive attitudes and the need for popularity on impulse purchase intentions, as well as the role of social competence moderation. The game implements an aggressive freemium business model and manages to create psychological and social pressures that drive status-based impulsive buying behavior. The research uses a conclusive-descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. Primary data was collected through an online survey of 175 Last War: Survival players using purposive sampling techniques. All variables were measured with 35 indicators using a seven-point Likert scale. Data analysis was carried out using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that competitive attitudes have a positive and significant effect on the need for popularity and impulse purchases in games. The need for popularity also has a significant effect on impulse purchases and has been shown to mediate a full relationship between competitive attitudes and purchasing behavior. Meanwhile, social competence has not been shown to moderate the relationship between variables. These findings confirm that in a highly competitive gaming environment, a player\u27s competitive drive is converted into a need for social status which further triggers impulsive buying behavior, regardless of the player\u27s level of social competence in the real world

DO PROFITABILITY, LEVERAGE, AND DIVIDEND POLICY INFLUENCE FIRM VALUE? EVIDENCE FROM INDONESIA’S ENERGY INDUSTRY
The purpose of this study is to analyze the overall impact of dividend, leverage, and profitability policies on energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2019-2023. Secondary data were obtained from financial statements, and 17 companies were selected using directional sampling over a five-year observation period. The analysis employed Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0 to provide methodological insights. By focusing on the energy sector during the pandemic and the recovery period, this study provides a timely context, addressing the gap in prior studies that were primarily focused on the industrial sector and banking and employed conventional regression methods. The findings indicate that profitability and leverage significantly affect firm value, whereas dividend policy does not exhibit a notable impact. An R-squared of 41.8% suggests that the independent variables account for only part of the variation in the company\u27s value, with the remainder attributable to external factors. From a managerial perspective, the findings emphasize the need to prioritize profitability and manage leverage carefully to increase firm value. At the same time, dividend policy should not be treated as a determinant in investor evaluation. To gain broader insight, future studies are recommended to extend the analysis to other industries and increase the sample size
DETECTIVE PATTERNS IN THE PALE BLUE EYES (2022) FILM
This study explores the application of John G. Cawelti\u27s classic detective formula in the film The Pale Blue Eye (2022), which is an adaptation of Louis Bayard\u27s 2003 novel. As part of popular literature, the film represents the enduring appeal of the mystery-detective genre through recognizable narrative patterns and conventions. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and narrative analysis techniques, this study identifies how the six main elements of the classic detective formula (1) mysterious crime situation, (2) introduction of the detective character, (3) investigation process, (4) announcement of the solution, (5) explanation of the solution, and (6) final resolution, are implemented in the film\u27s story structure. The results of the analysis show that the film not only follows the conventional structure of the detective genre, but also enriches the narrative through additional elements such as a Watsonian-style narrator (Edgar Allan Poe) and the existence of a two-layer solution that deviates from the role of the classic detective as a neutral and detached figure. Thus, The Pale Blue Eye proves the flexibility and cultural relevance of the detective story formula in contemporary popular media, as Cawelti\u27s theory suggests that genre conventions serve as both structural guides and mirrors of cultural meanings
