Traditional Marriage in Lombok: A Study of the Acculturation of Hindu and Islamic Cultures on the Meaning of Begawe Merariq for the Muslim Sasak Community of Lombok
No full textThe purpose of this research is basically to provide a clear picture of the acculturation of Hindu and Islamic culture occurring in the tradition of begawe merariq (traditional elopement ceremony) in the Islamic Sasak Lombok community, as well as the typology of the Sasak people in interpreting begawe merariq, because there is a lot of Hindu cultural acculturation. In this research, the author uses a qualitative approach that emphasizes the importance of developing and compiling theories that are always rooted in inductive-empirical thinking. Regarding data collection techniques, participant observation, interviews, and secondary data searches were used. The begawe merariq culture is a tradition that has been passed down and preserved because at this time the people of Lombok can gather and stay in touch with each other. Apart from being a family reunion, it is also a momentum to build the bond of an extended family (kadangjari, semeton jari). However, the meaning of kadangjari is now starting to be less understood, lived, and implemented because it is eroded by the insistence of materialism, individualism. Regarding the acculturation of Hindu culture in the Sasak community, the majority is not related to the main teachings of Islam, but is only seen in matters of customs that are Furu\u27iyah. It also applies only to some Sasak people who still use old traditions, while others carry out begawe in a modern way
MELANCHOLY AND RESISTANCE: A POSTFEMINIST READING OF LANA DEL REY’S NORMAN FUCKING ROCKWELL! ALBUM
No full textThis article explores Norman Fucking Rockwell!, the 2019 studio album by American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey, as a postfeminist cultural text that navigates the intersections of femininity, melancholy, and resistance in contemporary popular culture. The research addresses how Del Rey’s lyrical persona performs and problematizes postfeminist sensibility through affective narratives of vulnerability, aesthetic detachment, romantic fatalism, and ironic self-awareness. Employing a postfeminist critical framework—drawing on theories by Rosalind Gill, Angela McRobbie, Judith Butler, Sara Ahmed, and Lauren Berlant—this study also incorporates insights from popular culture theorists such as John Fiske, Dominic Strinati, and John G. Cawelti to situate the album within broader traditions of formulaic storytelling and cultural semiotics. The analysis is conducted through close reading and intertextual interpretation of all fourteen tracks, examining lyrics, performance style, and affective cues. Each track is treated as a discrete narrative unit that contributes to a larger postfeminist discourse: from the ironic empowerment in Norman Fucking Rockwell to the quiet withdrawal in Bartender, and the melancholic resistance in hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have – but I have it. The study reveals that Del Rey’s work simultaneously reflects and subverts postfeminist norms by embracing emotional opacity, stylized despair, and self-reflexive critique. Rather than offering straightforward narratives of empowerment, the album presents femininity as fractured, polysemic, and politically potent in its refusal to conform to coherent neoliberal scripts. Through its interplay of confession and critique, visibility and erasure, Norman Fucking Rockwell! constructs a melancholic femininity that challenges the commodified affect of the “empowered woman” archetype. This article concludes that Del Rey’s body of work does not merely reproduce postfeminist themes, but consciously manipulates them—transforming the album into a literary and cultural text where sadness becomes strategy, and vulnerability, a form of resistance.

Efektivitas Peran Pos Bantuan Hukum di Pengadilan Agama dalam Memberikan Layanan Hukum Kepada Masyarakat
No full textLegal aid is a human right recognized and protected for all legal subjects. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Posbakum services in several Religious Courts in West Java. This descriptive qualitative study uses data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the service effectiveness is measured using Duncan\u27s indicators: (1) Goal achievement, which is quite effective but faces challenges in time management; (2) Integration, which is not yet effective due to issues in the service process and limited socialization to remote areas; (3) Adaptation, which is moderately effective. Key supporting factors include collaboration with competent parties, adequate funding, and necessary facilities. Recommendations include expanding socialization efforts through outreach to remote locations, utilizing social media for information dissemination, and creating suggestion boxes for feedback. Furthermore, it is recommended to enhance staff capabilities through training, seminars, and workshops on legal aid services, improve time discipline, and ensure consistency in providing accurate court schedules and information to avoid inconvenience for the public. This research contributes to improving the quality of legal aid services, especially in terms of outreach and staff development, which is crucial for ensuring access to justice for all citizens
Peningkatan Literasi Hukum Kewarisan Islam Melalui Sosialisasi Dan Edukasi Dalam Upaya Mengurangi Jumlah Sengketa Waris Di Masyarakat Urban Kabupaten Sumedang
No full textSengketa waris di Kabupaten Sumedang masih cukup tinggi, dengan 13 kasus yang diajukan ke Pengadilan Agama Sumedang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penyelesaian sengketa waris di tingkat masyarakat masih belum optimal. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap Hukum Waris Islam, yang sering memicu perselisihan antar ahli waris. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi Hukum Waris Islam melalui kegiatan penyuluhan dan edukasi kepada masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan hukum, diskusi interaktif, dan studi kasus yang diambil dari kasus-kasus waris yang terjadi di wilayah Sumedang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan dan edukasi Hukum Waris Islam secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terkait pembagian waris menurut hukum Islam. Peningkatan literasi hukum ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi potensi sengketa waris di kemudian hari karena masyarakat memahami hak dan kewajibannya secara individu maupun kolektif
From Gambling to Housing: Collective Memory of Cinchona Plantation Residents in West Java, Indonesia
No full textThis study examines the collective memory possessed by local residents in the area of the former Dutch colonial cinchona plantation in Cikembang Village, West Java, which manifests in the form of historical building remnants and oral narratives. Through an ethnohistorical approach, the memory narratives conveyed by residents indicate their attachment to the plantation institution as result of paternalistic relation as a way of labor control. This research demonstrates that, in addition to providing basic necessities and improving moral standards for workers, paternalistic relation were implemented to maintain a continuous supply of plantation labor

The objective of this study is to assess the potential for halal industry growth in West Nusa Tenggara Province as a driver for increasing Islamic economic competitiveness amid global market dynamics. Secondary data was collected from various sources, including official reports from local governments, policies related to the halal industry, scientific publications, and reports from research institutions focusing on Islamic economics and the halal industry. This study relies on both primary and secondary data to ensure comprehensive analysis. The findings highlight the importance of government policies and collaborative efforts to stimulate the growth of the halal industry, such as regulatory frameworks, financial incentives, and institutional support
Keterlibatan ASN dalam Politik Praktis Pemilu dan Implikasinya bagi Demokrasi dalam Tinjauan Hukum Tata Negara
No full textThis study examines the involvement of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in practical electoral politics and its implications for democracy from a constitutional law perspective. ASN, as part of the state bureaucracy, are required to maintain neutrality to ensure honest, fair, and democratic elections. However, the reality on the ground shows that violations of ASN neutrality persist, manifested in support for certain candidates, both directly and through social media. The research method used is a normative juridical approach by examining laws and regulations related to ASN neutrality and case studies of violations that occurred in several elections. The results show that ASN involvement in practical politics not only violates regulations but also has negative implications for electoral integrity, the principle of equal political rights, and public trust in democracy. From a constitutional law perspective, ASN neutrality is part of the realization of the principles of the rule of law and constitutional democracy. Therefore, strengthening legal instruments, optimizing oversight functions, and implementing strict sanctions are needed to uphold ASN neutrality while strengthening the quality of democracy in Indonesia

Regulasi mengamantakan penyiaran harus berlandaskan pada Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa dengan menjaga dan meningkatkan moralitas dan nilai-nilai agama (Tu’minuna billah), Kedua, bahwa penyiaran di Indonesia harus menjaga dan memelihara Integritas, persatuan dan kesatuan Bangsa/Ukhuwah, Keempat, penyiaran di Indonesia harus mencapai tujuan memanusiakan manusia (humanisasi), Keempat, Siaran di Inonesia harus berfungsi meningkatkan kesejatheraan, kemandirian, perlindungan, kebebasan, keamanan, kenyamanan, masyarakat Indonesia (Liberasi). No full textThe purpose of this research is to know how kind of activities tabligh Pemuda Hijrah community in Masjid Al-Lathiif Jalan Saninten No. 2 Bandung and find out how the pattern of tabligh Pemuda Hijrah community in doing tabligh activities. The method used in this research is descriptive method, that is the method that guides the researcher to explore or photograph the social situation which is thoroughly researched, broad and deep. The results showed that the type of activity of the Pemuda Hijrah community as a youth activity packed with Islamic values. Various activities from the start of routine studies, Qur\u27anic tahsin, maqomat learning, tabligh akbar, qiyamul lail and youth events are youth activities in which there are Islamic values. The results showed that the type of activity of the Pemuda Hijrah community as a youth activity packed with Islamic values. Various activities from the start of routine studies, Qur\u27anic tahsin, maqomat learning, tabligh akbar, qiyamul lail and youth events are youth activities in which there are Islamic values. Dakwah Ustadz Hanan Attaki di TikTok: Efektik atau Sekedar Konten?
No full textThis study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Ustad Hanan Attaki\u27s da\u27wah through the TikTok social media platform. Additionally, this abstract explains the research methods and theories used, namely literature review with the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theory and the concept of diffusion of innovation, as well as TikTok\u27s relevance as a contemporary da\u27wah medium. Finally, the summary of findings indicates that Ustad Hanan Attaki\u27s da\u27wah strategy on TikTok leverages the platform\u27s characteristics to reach young audiences with relevant messages and an adaptive communication style. The results suggest that da\u27wah on TikTok has significant potential to increase religious awareness and is not merely entertainment content, despite challenges in delivering in-depth messages. Overall, this study provides a comprehensive understanding of TikTok\u27s role in digital da\u27wah, especially among Generation Z and millennials.
