Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) Coupled with PCA and PLS for Identification and Adulteration Detection of Halal Meat Products
Pork adulteration in halal meat is a significant issue in Indonesia, emphasizing the need for accurate methods to ensure product authenticity and protect consumers. This study aims to identify various meat products and evaluate the use of Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) in combination with Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Partial Least Squares (PLS) for detecting meat adulteration. Samples were collected from various sources and analyzed using LIBS, with PCA used to distinguish meat species qualitatively and PLS to assess adulteration quantitatively. LIBS effectively distinguishes meat types, while PCA successfully identifies meat samples based on the intensity of the elemental compositions. PLS achieves high accuracy R2 > 0.99 in detecting pork adulteration in beef, buffalo, mutton, and chicken, surpassing single-line emission regression methods with low LOD (2.65%, 4.69%, 2.38%, and 3.41%) and LOQ (8.08%, 14.23%, 7.23%, and 10.34%) values. This study demonstrates that LIBS combined with PCA and PLS is a feasible and accurate method for identifying various meat types and detecting pork adulteration. The approach offers a reliable solution for addressing meat adulteration issues and ensuring halal application of LIBS with PCA and PLS for pork detection and quantification in halal meat product compliance
Dynastic Politics and Party Persistence: Mechanisms of Elite Power Reproduction in Indonesian Democracy 2024 Elections
This study critically examines how dynastic politics and party persistence reproduce elite power in Indonesia’s 2024 elections. It highlights a central paradox: elections remain procedurally competitive, yet democracy’s substance is increasingly weakened by oligarchic consolidation. Using a qualitative approach, the research combines a systematic review of literature with critical discourse analysis. The findings show that dynastic politics has become entrenched in both executive and legislative institutions. Nearly 30 percent of parliamentary members are linked to political families, while the rise of Gibran Rakabuming Raka, son of President Joko Widodo, as vice president reflects the normalization of political dynasties in democratic settings. Party persistence is reinforced through cartelization, bureaucratic co-optation, and strategic alliances that cut across ideology. Together, these dynamics create a pattern of “elite circulation without renewal,” where leadership changes but power remains concentrated within oligarchic networks. The implications are profound: Indonesia risks becoming a pseudo-democracy in which electoral procedures continue but meaningful competition, representation, and accountability are hollowed out. This contributes to democratic backsliding and narrows the space for citizen participation. By integrating classical elite theory with contemporary Indonesian evidence, this study highlights how dynastic politics and party persistence function as dual mechanisms of elite power reproduction
Praktik Rasan Tuha pada Masyarakat Suku Komering di Kabupaten Oku Timur Perspektif Hukum Keluarga Islam
Research was carried out with the traditional Rasan Tuha marriage practices among the Komering community in Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency and to assess their relevance in accordance with the principles of Islamic Family Law. The study examines the steps involved in the implementation, symbolic meanings, and socio-cultural values embedded in the practice, with an analysis of its conformity to the concept of ʿurf and the legal principle of al-ʿādatu muḥakkamah. The research employs a literature-based approach with a qualitative descriptive method and a normative perspective. Data were analyzed through content analysis to explore local cultural practices in connection with Islamic legal principles. The findings indicate that Rasan Tuha is still practiced through pre-marriage, marriage contract, and post-marriage stages, although some rituals have been simplified due to economic and efficiency considerations. The tradition continues to uphold values of deliberation, inter-family respect, and the strengthening of social bonds. From the perspective of Islamic Family Law, Rasan Tuha can be categorized as ʿurf ṣaḥīḥ, as it does not conflict with Sharia but rather supports the fulfillment of the pillars and conditions of marriage. Therefore, Rasan Tuha functions not only as a cultural heritage but also as a socio-religious instrument that reinforces family structure and aligns with Islamic principles

Collaborative Governance Evaluation of Collaborative Governance in Realizing Bureaucratic Reform through Smart City Implementation in Cimahi City
Collaborative governance involves public institutions engaging non-state stakeholders in consensus-oriented, deliberative decision-making for public policy. In Cimahi City, stakeholder involvement in bureaucratic reform through the Smart City initiative is vital, yet collaboration remains underdeveloped. This study aims to describe, analyze, and map the roles, challenges, and efforts of Pentahelix actors government, private sector, academia, media, and civil society in implementing the Smart City concept. Using a descriptive-analytical method with a qualitative approach, the research explores collaboration through communication, coordination, and cooperation. Findings show the government is responsible for regulations, procurement, education, and assistance but is perceived as ineffective. The private sector aids job creation, yet opportunities remain limited. Higher education contributes innovation and expertise in policymaking. Media disseminates information and fosters networks. Public participation is low, especially in idea-sharing and technology use. NGOs assist through training and empowerment programs. Key barriers include weak communication, lack of coordination, and differing stakeholder perspectives. To address these issues, the government established a Smart City Expert Council as a collaborative platform. Overall, while roles are defined, actual implementation faces structural and relational challenges, requiring stronger integration and mutual understanding among all Pentahelix pillars to drive effective bureaucratic reform

Integrating Blooket as a Digital Gamification Tool to Enhance Arabic Syntax Learning Outcomes
This study examines the effectiveness of Blooket, a gamified learning platform, in enhancing students’ mastery of Arabic syntax (tarkīb) at Darussalam Islamic Junior High School, Wanaraja, Garut. Employing a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental Non-Equivalent Pre-test and Post-test Control Group Design, the research involved two groups: an experimental class (n = 30) using Blooket and a control class (n = 28) receiving conventional instruction. Data were collected through pre- and post-tests focusing on sentence construction, syntactic recognition, and transformations of jumlah ismiyyah and jumlah fi\u27liyyah. The data were analyzed using t-tests after confirming normality and homogeneity through Shapiro-Wilk and Levene’s tests. Results indicate a significant improvement in the experimental group’s mean score from 37.67 to 72.40, while the control group’s score increased marginally from 40.00 to 43.39. The independent t-test showed a statistically significant difference in post-test scores (p < 0.05) favoring the experimental group. The experimental group’s normalized gain (N-gain) averaged 0.54 (moderate), compared to 0.02 (low) in the control group. These findings suggest that Blooket can effectively increase student engagement and syntactic understanding in Arabic grammar. However, the low-to-moderate N-gain also highlights the need for prolonged intervention or blended strategies for deeper conceptual mastery. Future research is recommended to investigate the long-term effects of Blooket on various aspects of Arabic language proficiency, including speaking and writing skills. Studies should also examine the integration of Blooket with other pedagogical models to enhance critical thinking, collaboration, and deeper syntactic competence across diverse student populations.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa menggunakan media Blooket dalam pembelajaran Bahasa arab siswa kelas VIII MTs Darussalam Wanaraja Garut. Digitalization of Hajj Fund Management through Shariah E-Commerce Model in the Context of Service and Global Investment Transformation
This study aims to analyze how the digitalization of hajj fund management can enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability in accordance with Shariah principles. The urgency of this research lies in the increasing complexity of hajj services, which demand transparency, accessibility, and strong public accountability alongside the rapid development of digital technology. A qualitative approach was employed with literature review as the primary source of data. The analysis applied thematic analysis to identify recurring patterns and interactive qualitative analysis (IQA) to map the interrelationships among variables in the hajj management ecosystem. The reviewed literature covered government regulations, BPKH financial reports, academic studies on digital Islamic finance, as well as research on e-commerce platforms and Islamic fintech. The findings indicate that digitalization through Shariah-compliant Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C) models, integration with the Nusuk application, and collaboration with both domestic and international digital platforms improves cost efficiency, expands pilgrims’ access, and strengthens transparency in hajj fund governance. In addition, direct investment strategies in Saudi Arabia through government-to-government (G-to-G) and business-to-business (B-to-B) cooperation can minimize financial risks while diversifying revenue streams. The implications of this study affirm that digitalization is not merely a technical tool but a structural transformation strategy that has the potential to expand Islamic financial inclusion, strengthen the competitiveness of the hajj–umrah industry, and support the global growth of the Islamic economy. The originality of this research lies in its focus on the intersection of Shariah-based digital innovation—particularly the C2C e-commerce model—and hajj fund governance. This area remains underexplored in previous studies, thus providing novel contributions both theoretically to the development of digital Islamic finance studies and practically to policymaking in hajj fund management in Indonesia
