    No full text
The growing urgency of environmental challenges has emphasized the importance of integrating green chemistry and sustainability concepts into chemistry education. Green chemistry provides a framework for promoting environmentally responsible scientific practices, while sustainability fosters long-term thinking and ethical decision-making among learners. This study aims to analyze recent trends in the integration of green chemistry and sustainability in chemistry learning contexts. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted following Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Twenty peer-reviewed articles published within the last six years and indexed in Scopus and Science and Technology Index (SINTA) were selected from databases including Google Scholar, Education Resources Information Center (ERIC), and Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute (MDPI). The findings indicate that integrating green chemistry and sustainability enhances students\u27 knowledge, interest, and motivation to adopt environmentally responsible attitudes and practices. Despite these benefits, the integration process faces several challenges, such as limited instructional resources, lack of pedagogical strategies, and insufficient contextualization. The study also highlights various effective strategies for implementation, including the use of student worksheets, multimedia tools, and ethnoscience-based approaches that align chemistry learning with local cultural contexts. These insights contribute to the development of more responsive and sustainable chemistry education models, aligning science instruction with global environmental goals and promoting pro-environmental behaviors among future scientists

The Production of Scientific Interpretation Discourse in State Institutions: A Study of Tamsil Language in QS Al-\u27Ankabūt Verse 41

    No full text
This research departs from the growing tendency of state-affiliated institutions across various parts of the world to engage in the production of Qur’anic interpretations. Through the production of these interpretations, the involvement of state institutions as discourse actors becomes evident, highlighting their role in the contestation of religious authority within Qur’anic exegesis. Therefore, the central focus of this study is to examine how textual structures, cognition, and social context shape the interpretations produced by three state institutions: Tafsir Ilmi by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag RI), Tafsir al-Muntakhab by the Egyptian Ministry of Religious Affairs, and Tafsir al-Muyassar by the Saudi Ministry of Religious Affairs, particularly regarding the understanding of figurative language in QS Al-‘Ankabūt verse 41. This research is qualitative in nature and employs a library-based study. The primary data consist of the interpretations of QS Al-‘Ankabūt verse 41 from Tafsir Ilmi (Indonesia), Tafsir al-Muntakhab (Egypt), and Tafsir al-Muyassar (Saudi Arabia), analyzed using Teun A. van Dijk’s critical discourse analysis approach. The findings reveal that each institution presents a distinctive exegetical style aligned with its respective state ideology and vision of Islam: Tafsir Ilmi emphasizes the integration of science and religion within a framework of moderate Islam; Tafsir al-Muntakhab conveys religious messages through a rational and educational approach; whereas Tafsir al-Muyassar delivers messages of pure monotheism in a clear and normative manner

    No full text
This study aims to analyze the application of the SECI model in Knowledge Management (KM) to enhance educational quality at TPA-TQA Alluqmaniyyah Yogyakarta, a non-formal Islamic education institution. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, this research explores the processes of knowledge socialization, externalization, combination, and internalization within this unique educational environment. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with institution leaders, observation of activities, and review of relevant documents and literature. The findings reveal that the implementation of the SECI model effectively facilitates the conversion of tacit knowledge into explicit forms through various practices, including student assessments, regular learning evaluations, curriculum documentation, and routine teacher training. The success of this implementation is significantly underpinned by robust collaboration among educators, the integral incorporation of Islamic values, and a pervasive reflective culture in decision-making processes. Although certain limitations persist, particularly concerning the aspect of digitalization, this knowledge management approach demonstrably proves effective in improving the overall educational quality at TPA-TQA Alluqmaniyyah

    No full text
The development of information technology in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0 has transformed the landscape of Islamic da\u27wah in Indonesia. Da\u27wah is no longer confined to physical spaces such as mosques and religious study groups but has expanded into digital platforms through social media, podcasts, and other online channels. This article aims to analyze the transformation of da\u27wah in the context of social change due to digitalization and its implications for contemporary da\u27wah strategies in Indonesia. The study adopts a qualitative approach using literature review and descriptive-critical analysis of da\u27wah sociology theories such as Symbolic Interactionism, Diffusion of Innovations, Social Mediation, and Bourdieu\u27s theory of Habitus and Social Capital. The findings show that digital da\u27wah in Indonesia faces challenges such as the spread of religious misinformation, digital extremism, and low levels of digital literacy among the public. On the other hand, technological advancements offer wider, more inclusive, and data-driven opportunities for da\u27wah. Within the framework of Society 5.0, da\u27wah must be oriented toward humanistic and contextual social solutions. Therefore, a sociological approach to da\u27wah is crucial to ensure that Islamic messages remain relevant and capable of addressing the challenges of the times. In conclusion, da\u27wah in the digital era must strategically and adaptively integrate technology, culture, and social understanding. Contribution: This article advances academic and practical understanding of how digital technologies are reshaping religious communication, positioning sociological analysis as crucial to developing effective and future-ready da\u27wah strategies in Indonesia

Globalizing Religious Moderation: Indonesia’s Experience of Religious Moderation for the ASEAN and Global Contexts

    No full text
This study aims to analyze the potentials and challenges of globalizing Indonesia’s policy of religious moderation within the ASEAN and broader international context. Amid growing polarization rooted in religion, extremism, and identity-based conflicts, the Indonesian government—through the Ministry of Religious Affairs—has developed the religious moderation policy as both a normative and strategic framework to preserve harmony within plural societies. Using a qualitative approach based on case studies and document analysis, this research draws on primary data from official reports by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and secondary data from relevant international sources. The findings indicate that Indonesia’s model of religious moderation has begun to gain attention in regional and global forums, particularly through its integration into educational initiatives, interfaith dialogue platforms, and diplomatic arenas such as ICROM and KMBAAA. Nevertheless, several dysfunctions persist: resistance from ideological groups, elitist and symbolic implementation, inconsistency with ongoing domestic discrimination, and the ceremonial nature of international actor involvement. These findings underscore the urgent need for more inclusive, community-based, and consistent strategies if religious moderation is to evolve into a global value system. This study offers an original contribution by positioning Indonesia’s religious moderation not merely as a domestic policy, but as a transnational normative model relevant for diplomacy and religious studies
