DO INFLATION AND EXCHANGE RATES MATTER FOR ISLAMIC AND CONVENTIONAL STOCK INDICES? EVIDENCE FROM INDONESIA
Stock Index (ISSI) and the Indonesia Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG). Employing a quantitative approach, the study utilizes monthly secondary data from 2014 to 2023 obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Bank Indonesia, and the Central Bureau of Statistics. Multiple linear regression analysis is applied to assess both partial and simultaneous effects of macroeconomic variables on Islamic and conventional stock market indices. The empirical results reveal that inflation does not have a significant effect on either ISSI or IHSG. In contrast, the rupiah exchange rate exerts a significant influence on both indices, indicating that exchange rate movements play a more dominant role in shaping stock market performance than inflation. These findings suggest that, within the Indonesian context, exchange rate dynamics constitute a key source of systematic risk affecting both Islamic and conventional equity markets. The results provide empirical support for the Arbitrage Pricing Theory by highlighting the unequal influence of macroeconomic factors on asset prices. This study contributes to the literature by offering comparative evidence on the sensitivity of Islamic and conventional stock markets to macroeconomic conditions in an emerging economy
Implikasi Hukum Kedudukan Wakil Menteri sebagai Penyelenggara Negara Terhadap Larangan Rangkap Jabatan : Legal Implications of the Position of Deputy Ministers as State Administrators Regarding the Prohibition on Holding Dual Positions
The prohibition of deputy ministers holding multiple positions has become a polemic within the government structure due to the absence of explicit legal norms regulating such restrictions. This issue later developed following a Constitutional Court ruling stating that the prohibition on ministers holding multiple positions also applies to deputy ministers. This study aims to examine the legal position of deputy ministers in the Indonesian government system and the legal implications arising from the prohibition on holding concurrent positions. The research employs a normative legal method using statutory and conceptual approaches. Secondary data, consisting of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials, are analyzed descriptively and analytically. The study concludes that deputy ministers are state administrators appointed by the President to assist ministers in carrying out their duties and functions. Accordingly, the principles of state administration are inherent in the office of the deputy minister. The prohibition of dual positions has legal implications for interpretation, limits presidential prerogatives, and requires the application of sanctions
Upaya Multisektor Penanggulangan Femisida di Meksiko dan Relevansinya bagi Indonesia
Fenomena femisida atau pembunuhan terhadap perempuan semakin menjadi perhatian global, termasuk di Meksiko, dimana merujuk pada Amnesty International mencatat sedikitnya sepuluh kasus setiap harinya. Tingginya angka femisida di negara tersebut tidak terlepas dari pengaruh budaya patriarki yang masih mengakar kuat dalam struktur sosial dan hukum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis berbagai upaya penanganan femisida di Meksiko serta menelaah relevansinya dalam konteks Indonesia, mengingat kasus kekerasan berbasis gender juga kian mengkhawatirkan di tanah air. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan, mengandalkan data sekunder dari literatur akademik, laporan organisasi internasional, media massa, dan dokumen hukum. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penanganan femisida di Meksiko melibatkan intervensi berbagai aktor, mulai dari organisasi internasional dan regional, perjuangan aktivis dan seniman melalui berbagai medium termasuk media digital, hingga penguatan aspek hukum dengan pemberian sanksi tegas terhadap pelaku. Upaya tersebut dapat menjadi bahan refleksi dan inspirasi bagi Indonesia dalam membangun kebijakan penanggulangan femisida yang lebih komprehensif dan responsif terhadap korban
Ruang Siber Sebagai Instrumen Penguatan Kemandirian Ekonomi Dan Sosial Perempuan Kepala Keluarga Di Era Society 5.0
Era Society 5.0 menempatkan teknologi sebagai sarana untuk mendorong kemajuan sosial yang berorientasi pada manusia, termasuk dalam upaya pemberdayaan kelompok rentan seperti perempuan kepala keluarga. Dalam konteks ini, ruang siber menjadi medium strategis yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memperluas akses informasi, meningkatkan kapasitas, serta memperkuat kemandirian sosial dan ekonomi. Yayasan Pemberdayaan Perempuan Kepala Keluarga (PEKKA) berperan sebagai wadah kolektif yang berupaya mendorong kemandirian perempuan kepala keluarga melalui berbagai program pemberdayaan berbasis komunitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan ruang siber oleh Yayasan PEKKA, faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam penguatan kemandirian ekonomi dan sosial perempuan kepala keluarga di era Society 5.0. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menelaah pandangan, praktik pemanfaatan ruang siber, serta dinamika pelaksanaannya di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ruang siber memiliki potensi besar sebagai sarana transformasi sosial bagi perempuan kepala keluarga. Melalui pemanfaatan ruang digital, Yayasan PEKKA dapat mendorong peningkatan keterampilan, perluasan wawasan, serta penguatan jejaring sosial dan ekonomi. Namun demikian, pemanfaatan ruang siber tersebut belum berjalan secara optimal karena masih terdapat sejumlah kendala, baik dari sisi kapasitas sumber daya maupun akses dan literasi digital. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penguatan strategi pemanfaatan ruang siber agar perannya dalam mendukung kemandirian sosial dan ekonomi perempuan kepala keluarga dapat berjalan lebih efekti
Millennial Santris’ Comprehension of Sundanese Hadith Texts: A Study at Pondok Pesantren Al-Mardhiyyah Al-Islamiyyah, Bandung
Cultural linguistic shifts in the era of globalization have led to a degradation of mother tongue proficiency among the millennial generation, including Sundanese santri. This phenomenon poses a challenge for traditional pesantren in West Java that maintain a curriculum of Sundanese-based Hadith studies. This study aims to evaluate the comprehension level of millennial santri regarding Sundanese Hadith texts and to identify the lexical barriers encountered. The research was conducted at Pondok Pesantren Al-Mardhiyyatul Islamiyyah, Bandung Regency, employing a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection instruments included participatory observation and vocabulary comprehension tests administered to 20 millennial santri, utilizing Hadith samples on the theme of thaharah (purification) from the book Papadang Ati. The results indicate that while santri generally grasp the context of the Hadith, there exists a 21% lexical comprehension gap; students struggled to understand archaic Sundanese terms (buhun) such as lingsemeun, mopoyankeun, and pancaindra. These findings suggest a need for the revitalization of kitab kuning instructional methods that prioritize not only Sharia content but also the preservation of local linguistics
The Dimensions and Paradigms of Multicultural Education and Their Relevance for Islamic Education
This study examines the position of multicultural education within the framework of Islamic education by analyzing its key dimensions, paradigms, and conceptual relevance. Although multicultural education has been widely discussed in global scholarship, limited studies have mapped its theoretical constructs while simultaneously linking them to Islamic educational principles in an integrated manner. To address this gap, this study employs a literature review approach that synthesizes classical and contemporary theories of multicultural education, including Banks’ five dimensions and Indonesia’s national multicultural paradigms. The findings show that multicultural education provides a structural and pedagogical foundation through content integration, knowledge construction, prejudice reduction, equity pedagogy, and empowering school culture that aligns with Islamic principles of equality, justice, tolerance, and rahmatan lil-‘ālamīn. The study concludes that integrating multicultural frameworks into Islamic education strengthens its function in shaping inclusive, moderate, and socially responsible learners. This research contributes theoretically by offering a conceptual linkage between two major educational discourses and provides practical implications for developing culturally responsive Islamic education in pluralistic societies
A Comparative Analysis of Jigsaw, Team Games Tournament, and Conventional Approaches on Student Achievement in Islamic Religious Education at the Elementary Level
This study aims to compare the effectiveness of the Jigsaw, Team Games Tournament (TGT), and conventional learning models in improving Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes in third-grade elementary school students. Using a comparative quantitative research design, this study involved three whole classes, each of which implemented one of these learning models. Student learning outcomes were measured using a standardized assessment instrument after the learning process was implemented. The findings showed clear differences between the three models, with the TGT model producing the highest improvement in learning outcomes, followed by the conventional model, while the Jigsaw model showed the lowest results. These findings indicate that the competitive cooperative learning structure in TGT is able to increase engagement and understanding of religious concepts more effectively than the other two models. This study concludes that the TGT model is superior in supporting the achievement of Islamic Religius Education learning outcomes and has broader pedagogical significance because it can strengthen the cognitive, social, moral, and character-building aspects that are at the core of Islamic education. Therefore, the application of innovative and learner-centered learning strategies needs to be expanded to improve the quality of Islamic Religius Education learning at the elementary school level
Digital Risk Communication in Hydrometeorological Disaster Mitigation in Gili Trawangan
Gili Trawangan, a small island tourism destination in North Lombok, Indonesia, faces high vulnerability to hydrometeorological hazards, such as tidal flooding, coastal erosion, and storm surges. In this context, risk communication is critical in disaster mitigation, particularly with the increasing use of digital communication channels. This study examines how hydrometeorological disaster risk communication is implemented across three stages: anticipatory, crisis, and learning, using the Crisis and Emergency Risk Communication (CERC) framework. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, including local government officials (BPBD), civil society organizations, tourism business actors, community leaders, residents, and tourists. Empirical findings were analyzed using the six core principles of CERC (be first, be right, be credible, express empathy, promote action, and show respect) to assess the effectiveness of digital risk communication. The findings indicated that risk communication in Gili Trawangan remains fragmented and uneven across stages. Digital channels support rapid information dissemination during the anticipatory and crisis stages, but they remain limited in inclusivity and multilingual accessibility, particularly for tourists and temporary populations. In the learning stage, the absence of institutionalized digital evaluation mechanisms constrains continuous improvement. This study suggested integrated and inclusive digital risk communication to enhance disaster resilience and support sustainable tourism in small island destinations
Bimbingan keagamaan Orang Tua terhadap Anak dalam Surat Luqman Ayat 13-19
Banyaknya kasus penyimpangan perilaku pada anak yang semakin memprihatinkan serta jauh dari tuntunan Al-Qur`an. Dengan terjadinya fenomena ini menggambarkan kehidupan anak pada zaman ini mengalami degradasi moral, dimana keberadaan akhlak baik menurun serta semakin sedikit manusia yang memiliki akhlak baik dalam dirinya. Masalah diatas berangkat dari bagaimana orang tua dalam menjalankan kewajibannya dalam memberikan bimbingan pada anak yang sesuai dengan tuntunan Al-Qur`an dan sunnah. Bertujuan untuk bagaimana model bimbingan keagamaan orang tua terhadap anak yang terkadung dalam surat Luqman ayat 12-19, bagaimana proses bimbingan keagamaan orang tua terhadap anak dalam surat Luqman ayat 12-19, bagaimana hasil bimbingan keagamaan orang tua terhadap anak dalam surat Luqman 12-19. Penelitian ini pula bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana model bimbingan keagamaan orang tua terhadap anak yang terkadung dalam surat Luqman ayat 12-19, untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses bimbingan keagamaan orang tua terhadap anak dalam surat Luqman ayat 12-19, untuk mengetahui hasil bimbingan keagamaan orang tua terhadap anak dalam surat Luqman 12-19. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pustaka. Pendekatan naratif dengan dengan metode analisis content. Langkah penelitian mengumpulkan bahan literur, membaca bahan literatur, menyimpulkan hasil yang telah dibaca, mencatat simpulan untuk dianalisis. Hasil penelitian model bimbingan keagamaan dalam surat Luqman 12-19 menggunakan modeling langsung, orang tua memberikan nasihat serta memberikan contohnya terlebih dahulu, melakukan komunikasi 2 arah. Luqman memberikan pengasuhan berupa kebijaksanaan, keteladanan, musyawarah, nasihat dan hikmah. Dengan langkah memberikan nasihat dan hikmah, melalui pendekatan pada anaknya dengan kehangatan, pengawasan, komunikasi. Sehingga anak memiliki kepribadian yang sesui dengan tuntunan Al-Qur`an.

Communication Patterns of Pasundan Synod Christian Church Pastors in Building Interreligious Relations in a Muslim Majority Environment
Pastoral leadership in a Muslim-majority environment presents unique challenges, particularly in fostering harmonious interfaith relationships amidst diverse religious dynamics. This study examines the communication strategies used by pastors of the Pasundan Christian Church to navigate interfaith interactions and resolve conflicts in such an environment. Using a qualitative case study approach, the study used in-depth interviews and direct observation to explore perspectives on interfaith coexistence, sources of conflict, and effective resolution mechanisms. The results revealed that inclusive communication patterns centered on empathy, humanity, and interfaith collaboration were essential in fostering mutual understanding and preventing conflict escalation. Pastors demonstrated openness in engaging Muslim religious leaders through dialogue and active participation in community social activities, which effectively dispelled stereotypes and fostered trust. These practices underscore the importance of adaptive communication methods tailored to pluralistic environments. This study contributes theoretically to the field of interfaith communication by highlighting the role of relational inclusivity as a bridge to religious harmony. Practically, it offers valuable insights for religious leaders seeking to promote synergy and peaceful coexistence in multicultural societies. Its implications extend beyond Indonesia, becoming a model for global interfaith cooperation in fostering resilient and cohesive societies
