Представяне и обработка на знания за културно-историческото и природното наследство на България в интелигентен туристически пътеводител
Докладът представя един реинженерингов подход за разширение на базата от знания на разработвания в DeLC лабораторията на ПУ "П. Хилендарски" интелигентен туристически пътеводител с информация за българските културни, исторически и природни обекти, съхранени в съществуващи нестандартизирани бази от данни. Туристическият пътеводител се разработва като мултиагентна среда, базирана на референтната архитектура на Виртуалното физическо пространство (ViPS). Базата знания във ViPS се базират на мрежа от онтологии - OntoNet. За да използваме съществуващите бази данни, е необходимо да се създаде единна БД, базирана на стандарта CCO (Cataloging Cultural Objects) за представяне на културно-исторически обекти на ЮНЕСКО.The report presents a reengineering approach to expand the knowledge base of the intelligent Tourist Guide developed in the DeLC laboratory of Plovdiv University "Paisii Hilendarski" with information about the Bulgarian cultural, historical and natural sites stored in existing non-standardized databases. The Tourist Guide is created as a multi-agent environment based on the reference architecture of the Virtual Physical Space (ViPS). The knowledge base in ViPS is based on a network of ontologies - OntoNet. with combined power-type nonlinearity
The stability of solitary waves with velocity is proved by means of the Grillakis, Shatah, and Strauss abstract theory and the convexity
of the function , related to some conservation laws. We derive explicit analytical formulas for
the function and its second derivative for quadratic-cubic nonlinearity and
parameters . As a consequence, the orbital stability of solitary waves is
analyzed depending on the parameters of the problem. Well-known results are generalized in the
case of a single cubic nonlinearity
Computing Distance Distributions of Ternary Orthogonal Arrays
Orthogonal Arrays (OA) play important roles in statistics (used in designing experiments), computer science and cryptography. The most important problems are those about their existence and classification of non-isomorphic classes of OA with given parameters. The solving of these problems requires possible Hamming distance distributions of studied orthogonal array to be determined. In this paper we propose a method for computing of distance distributions of OA with given parameters. Performative Framework and Case Study for Technology-Enhanced Learning Communities
This paper employs the overarching concept of communities to express the social contexts within which human creativity is exercised and learning happens. With the advent of digital technologies, these social contexts, the communities we engage in, change radically. The new landscape brought about by digital technologies is characterized by new qualities, new opportunities for action, new community affordances. The term onlife is adopted from the Onlife Manifesto and used to distinguish the new kind of communities brought about by the modern digital technologies, the onlife communities. Design principles are presented to foster such communities and support their members. These principles constitute a framework that emphasizes the concept of performativity, i.e. knowledge is based on human performance and actions done within certain social contexts, rather than development of conceptual representations. To demonstrate the use of the framework and the corresponding principles, the paper presents how they can be used to analyze, evaluate and reframe a concrete system addressing creativity and learning in the field of cultural heritage (history teaching and learning). One of the most significant results is the adoption of principles that facilitate students’ engagement in rich learning experiences moving from the role of end-user towards the role of expert-user with the support of so called maieuta-designers. The result of this process is the use of the studied software not only to consume ready-made content but the creation of new, student generated content, offering new learning opportunities to the students. Актуални събития и процеси, влияещи на визията на класическата стенопистна техника "Секо"
Докладът представя проблемите, свързани с мащабирането, прехвърлянето на стена и изпълнението на монументални произведения в техниката "секо". Разглеждат се положителните и отрицателните страни на методите, използвани до този момент. В основната част се предлагат съвременни технологични инструменти за улесняване на процеса. Като примери се дават нововъведения като – "Робоспрей", вертикален плотер и вертикален принтер. Разглеждат се техните положителни страни и недостатъци. Изследват се следствията от навлизането на нови инструменти и тяхното влияние върху визията на стенописната техника "секо". Предлага се нова форма за изпълнение на монументално произведение – обогатената реалност. Обсъждат се проблемите на подобна творба и обстоятелствата, при които е оправдано използването на тази форма. В заключението се показва нуждата от преосмисляне значението на термина стенопис, поради последните научни открития, касаещи материята.The report presents problems related to scaling, project transfer, and the creation of murals in the art. The positive and negative aspects of the methods used so far are discussed. The main part offers modern technological tools to make the process easier. Examples are innovations such as "Robospray", Vertical plotter and Vertical printer. Their pluses and disadvantages are considered. The effects of the penetration of new instruments and their influence on the visual looks on the secco technique are investigated. There is a proposal for a new form a monumental work - the Augmented Reality. The problems of such a work and the circumstances in which the use of this form is justified are discussed. The conclusion highlighted the need to rethink the meaning of the term: mural painting, due to the latest scientific discoveries concerning matter. Also problems related to the value of the monumental works in the sphere of mural painting
Иновативна форма за достъп до културното наследство на музикалния театър: Перспектива от България
Възползвайки се от модела на Виртуален музей на БМТ (ВМБМТ), институционализиран като самостойна и постоянно развиваща се интернет платформа към Музея на Българския музикален театър (МБМТ), това изследване представлява нов принос по отношение на прилагането на цифрови технологии към управлението на информацията и културните стратегии. Изследването отговаря на актуални проблеми за текущото развитие и приложение на цифровите технологии за създаване на съвкупно мултимедийно съдържание за репрезентация на културно наследство. Предлага се оригинален метод за конструиране на виртуалния музей за интерактивен достъп до архивни образци на български спектакли в традиционните музикално-сценични жанрове – опера, балет, оперета и мюзикъл – и представяне на постиженията на музикално-сценичното изкуство чрез постоянни тематични колекции от репертоарни програми, актуална информация за творческия процес на артисти, диригенти, режисьори, сценографи, балетмайстори. В допълнение, аналитичната процедура може лесно да се приложи в други различни сфери на културното наследството.Providing as an example the Virtual Museum of Bulgarian Musical Theatre, institutionalized as an independent and constantly evolving Internet platform at the Museum of the Bulgarian Musical Theater (MBMT), this study represents a new contribution to the application of digital technologies to management and cultural promotion. The research answers questions regarding the current development and applications of digital technologies for designing multimedia content aiming to represent cultural heritage. The results offer an original virtual museum constructing method for interactive access to archival samples of performances in the following genres: opera, ballet, operetta, and musical. Additionally, the museum offers access to a presentation of the achievements of music and stage art through permanent thematic collections of repertoire programs, up-to-date information about the creative process of artists, conductors, directors, scenographers, choreographers
Когнитивни аспекти на киберфизичните системи за педагогическа рехабилитация: към подход "НТИИМ" в приобщаващото образование
The paper presents the main ideas, motivating two ongoing research projects, justifying the need to move to STEAM education. The proposed novel type of cyber-physical systems - for pedagogical rehabilitation in inclusive education - is outlined. The role of puppet theatre in maximising the learning outcomes in inclusive education is substantiated. It has been also shown that integrating game, puppet theatre and social robotics is beneficiary in the classroom. Social robots have a significant potential for transition of the cognitive analysis of the behaviour of humans and robots from the physical to the social level. Creating а Digital Atlas for Heritage Cities and Towns Along the Danube
The traditional meaning of an atlas has changed recently, with the prompt rise of digitalisation. This process has also opened new perspectives to collect and present atlas data; the interconnection of the huge quantities of the different data sets, including the new types of data and introducing atlases with new topics as an innovation. The essential meaning of an atlas has been, however, preserved even in its digitalised version – to present spatially related phenomena and items thorough their mapping.
The aim of this paper is to discuss about the structure of a digital urban atlas on the example of the creation a new one – the digital atlas of heritage cities and towns along the Danube, one of the main deliverables of DANUrB+ INTERREG Project. This atlas, planned in both hardcopy and digital versions, is still in progress; hence, the main contribution of the paper is to show the expected structure of the digital DANUrB+ Atlas by comparing the project inputs with several already existing digital urban atlases as role-models.This paper is done for INTERREG EU Danube Project “DANube Urban Brand + Building Regional and Local Resilience through the Valorisation of Danube’s Cultural Heritage – DANUrB+” 2020-2022 (No. DTP3-433-2.2)
Comments on Some Inverted Cumulative Distributions: “Saturation in the Hausdorff Sense”
In this note we study properties of some inverted cumulative distribution functions (CDFs). More precisely, we prove estimates for the “saturation” – d about Hausdorff metric using two–parameters generalized inverted exponential c.d.f. The technique used can be successfully applied to other commonly used CDFs in practice. We consider also modified families of adaptive functions with “polynomial variable transfer” with applications to the Antenna–feeder Analysis.
