Архивното диалектно наследство и неговото съвременно битие
Get PDFВ доклада се представят диалектните архиви в Секцията за българска диалектология и лингвистична география на Института за български език "Проф. Л. Андрейчин" към БАН, които включват автентична диалектна лексика от различни краища на българската езикова територия, събирана в продължение на повече от 70 години. Проследява се процесът на обработка и картотекиране на диалектния материал и използването му в различни лексикографски и лингвогеографски научни трудове. Посочват се пътищата за обогатяване на архивното диалектно наследство с нови лексикални единици и съвременните средства за неговото опазване и популяризиране (дигитализация, създаване на интерактивни речници, интерактивни карти и др.). Подчертава се важното значение на диалектните архиви за изследване на историята на българския книжовен език и на традиционната народна култура.The report presents the dialect archives in the Department for Bulgarian Dialectology and Linguistic Geography of the Institute of Bulgarian Language "Prof. L. Andreychin" of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, which include authentic dialect lexis from different regions of the Bulgarian language territory, collected for more than 70 years. The process of collecting dialect material in a card-index and its use in lexicographic and linguo-geographical scientific works is described. The ways for enriching the archived dialectal heritage with new lexical units and the modern means for its preservation and popularization (digitalization, creation of interactive dictionaries, interactive maps, etc.) are indicated. The importance of dialect archives for the study of the history of the Bulgarian literary language and of the traditional folk culture is emphasized
Digital Accessibility and Immersive Storytelling for Cultural Heritage

In this respect immersive storytelling as principle, methodology, apps and tools becomes important instrument for institutionalized heritage, if used appropriately. The paper focuses on defining what means and what requires appropriate and digitally accessible use of digitally presented heritage objects. Good practices for immersive user experiences are being shown, digital accessibility principles and standards are presented. Resuming, main rules for construction of technology-balanced and accessible digital storytelling are being formulated

Get PDFForest fires are readily available, but data is not. We present our abstract mathematical model of a forest fire in Bulgaria, without any real-world data. Our main thesis is that it looks realistic. Our calibration techniques are limited to integer values, with a hint of real numbers. Our visualization technique is fixed function pipeline OpenGL implementation, but it does the job. Our programmer staff is limited to two people, both experts in their fields, that managed to make two distinct software products, that have as a base the same solid mathematical algorithm

Министерството на войната в Царство България полага грижи за по-доброто документиране на бойните действия в периодичния печат като използва напредъка на техниката и технологиите. Тъй като военните фотографи не могат винаги да достигнат до "първа линия" и да отразяват ключовите моменти от сраженията на българската войска, са мобилизирани и военни художници. Сред тях, на фронта е и бащата на българската карикатура – Александър Божинов. Настоящата статия представя неговото военно творчество, публикувано в списание "Отечество" по време на Първата световна война.World War I (1914-1918) is the third war fought from the beginning of the XXth century in which Bulgarian people participate in order to achieve their national unification. The Ministry of War of the Tsardom of Bulgaria takes good care of a better coverage of the military operations by using the advances in technique and technology at the time. As the war photographers are not always able to reach the front line and cover the key moments in the operations of the Bulgarian army, war painters are also mobilized. Among them is the "father" of the Bulgarian caricature Alexander Bozhinov who is also sent to the front. The present article represents his war works published in Otechestvo magazine during World War I.The research is part of a research project "Between the comic and the tragic - Alexander Bozhinov (cartoonist, military photographer and writer)" under Contract № KP-06-H40 / 2 of 10.12.2019 funded on the basis of a competition for basic research, Humanities from the Fund „Research”

No full text[Ganchev Ivan; Ганчев Иван]This paper presents an overview of the horizontal approach for the creation of Internet of Things (IoT) platforms, which allows to overcome many of the disadvantages of the vertical approach, by allowing a provider to supply only a horizontal slice in the delivery of IoT services, thus meeting better today’s expectations for efficiency and effectiveness, flexibility and scalability, openness and easy adjustment to new use cases and application scenarios, and multi-purpose use of the IoT systems built on top of such platforms. The state of the art in the area of IoT platforms development is presented along with some examples of horizontal IoT platform solutions in use today. Източният некропол на Сердика. История на проучванията и гробни съоръжения (II – VI в.)
Get PDFИзточният некропол на Сердика е по-големият от двата некропола на античния град. Проучванията на територията му продължават повече от 100 години, а разкритите гробни структури са над 500 броя. Те съставляват разнородни по вид съоръжения от 8 отделни типа, датиращи от началото – средата на II век – до времето на Османското владичество. За своеобразно ядро на некропола е приета базиликата "Света София" – преминала през различни етапи на строителство и преобразования – тя се явява и хронологически индикатор за част от гробните съоръжения. Общата площ на некропола обхваща много голяма територия, съставена от отделни зони с различна концентрация на структури. Въпреки големия обем археологически материал, липсва по-обобщаващ труд, включващ откритото до момента. Настоящата статия е своеобразен опит за събиране и представяне в общи рамки на известното в Източния некропол на Сердика. Освен това натрупаната и анализирана информация ще бъде трансформирана и в идентификационни досиета за регистъра на археологическите обекти в София. Последното е обвързано с дейността на Регионален исторически музей – София в проекта КЛаДА-БГ. Създаденият регистър, от своя страна, ще предостави възможност за две важни направления в опазването на археологическото наследство. От една страна – чрез създаването на дигитални археологически досиета – информацията ще бъде съхранена и защитена, а от друга – ще бъдат създадени предпоставки за социализирането на отделни части от некропола.The Еastern Necropolis of Serdica is the bigger of the two necropolises of the ancient city. Researches of its territory have continued for more than 100 years, and the accumulated amount of burial structures numbers over 500 pieces. They represent 8 different types, dating from the beginning/middle of the 2nd century - to the Ottoman rule. The basilica "Saint Sofia", which went through various stages of construction and transformations, is also used as a chronological benchmark for some of the burial facilities. The total area of the necropolis amounts to a very large territory composed of separate zones, with varying amounts of structures in each zone. However, to date, there is no definitive article about it. The current article is an attempt to collect and present, in a general framework, all the discoveries up to this point in the Eastern Necropolis of Serdica. In addition, the collected and analyzed information will be transformed into identification files for the register of archaeological sites in Sofia. This is also linked to the work the Regional History Museum - Sofia does for the CLaDA-BG project. This newly created registry will provide an opportunity for two important advancements in the preservation of the archaeological heritage. On one hand - by creating digital archaeological files, the information will be better stored and protected, and on the other – it will create a more easily accessible and widely available databank for the necropolis.Настоящото изследване е финансирано по Националната програма „Млади учени и постдокторанти - 2“ на МОН
