Създаване на училищна STEM стратегия със STEM School Label, проектът Scientix и "Класната стая на бъдещето"
Get PDFРазвитието на технологиите се нуждае от добре обучени STEM специалисти. Преходът към качествено STEM образование изисква сътрудничество между STEM учители, изследователи в областта на образованието, политици и други заинтересовани страни в образованието. Създаването на общности за STEM образование и подкрепата на STEM учителите в Европа са сред основните цели на проекта Scientix. От 2021 г. Scientix поддържа дейностите по проекта STEM School Label. Платформата STEM School Label подкрепя училищата в разработването на успешни STEM стратегии. Future Classroom Lab е напълно оборудвана, преконфигурируема среда за преподаване и учене, разположена в Брюксел. Много европейски учители след посещението си във Future Classroom Lab са били вдъхновени да обновят своите класни стаи и да променят подходите си на преподаване. Статията представя двете платформи Scientix и STEM School Label, основните идеи на Future Classroom Lab, както и част от българския принос в развитието на STEAM образованието.The development of technologies needs well-trained STEM professionals. The transition to quality STEM education requires collaboration among STEM teachers, education researchers, policymakers, and other educational stakeholders. Creating communities for STEM education and supporting STEM teachers in Europe are the main goals of the Scientix project. Since 2021 Scientix maintains the activities of the STEM School Label project. The STEM School Label platform supports schools in developing successful STEM strategies. The Future Classroom Lab is a fully equipped, reconfigurable, teaching and learning environment located in Brussels. Мany European teachers were inspired to retool their classrooms and change their teaching approaches after their visit in the Future Classroom Lab. The article introduces the two platforms of Scientix, STEM School Label, the main ideas of Future Classroom Lab, and part of the Bulgarian contribution to the development of the STEAM education

Управление на колесен мобилен робот при следене на зададена траектория
Get PDFВ статията са изследвани проблемите на устойчивост при движение на четири-колесен мобилен робот по зададена траектория. Обект на изследването е колесен мобилен робот с предни завиващи и задни задвижващи колела по схема Акерман. Направена е симулация, базирана на bicycle математичен модел, в която се изчисляват надлъжната и напречната устойчивост. От симулацията се вижда че ускоренията не надвишават пределните стойности гарантиращи устойчивостта на робота по време на движението по зададената траектория.In the article, the problems of stability during movement of a four-wheeled mobile robot along a set trajectory are investigated. The object of the study is a wheeled mobile robot with front turning and rear driving wheels according to the Ackerman scheme. A simulation was made based on a bicycle mathematical model, in which the longitudinal and transverse stability are calculated. The simulation shows that the accelerations do not exceed the limit values guaranteeing the stability of the robot during the movement along the set trajectory
Need for Postdigitalization in (South) Africa: Role(s) of Education Leaders
Get PDFConsidering the debate on preference between digitalization and postdigitalization, this study which is a concept note is undertaken. This is in attempt to explore the roles of education leaders if postdigitalization is to be preferred and promoted. Digitalization which is characterised by high technology use is regarded as tool for repair and solution to prevailing challenges such as inequality, unemployment, poverty, among others tends not to be experienced optimally as envisaged. Meanwhile, one of its major drivers remains the education sector. Conversely, the concept of Ubuntu which is used to express brotherhood remains a major phenomenon in the African continent. Thus, the need to consider postdigitalization as a remedy towards harnessing some of the benefits of digitalization together with those of Ubuntu. This is majorly because in postdigitalization more of the focus remains on humans which is the case with Ubuntu compared to digitalization which considers technology more than people.The study is limited to a concept note, hence, only relevant literature were reviewed, analysed and presented. It is therefore suggested that a similar study be conducted using qualitative and/or quantitative or mixed method approach where data would be collected from participants. This would aid the retrieval of in-depth information on the subject and possibly, generalization of the results

Тези уебсайтове се изследват в по-широкия контекст на дейността на културните институции, тъй като имат важно значение в културната инфраструктура на съответните съседни балкански страни. Ползва се сравнителна таблица за установяване на критерии за оценка на цифровите платформи, с особен акцент върху съдържанието.
Статията подробно характеризира разделите, посветени на основните и временните изложби, които играят решаваща роля за улесняване на дигиталното ангажиране както със съществуваща, така и с потенциална публика. Разгледани са и избраните подходи за представяне на музейни екипи и колекции. В допълнение, пропуските и несъответствията се идентифицират чрез сравняване на тези уебсайтове с други в музейната област. Оценяването на видео материалите и дигиталните обиколки на изложбите се придържа към високите стандарти, поставени от съвременните дигитални технологии в културния сектор.
Логично статията завършва с формулиране на три препоръки, насочени към подобряване на уебсайтовете на националните исторически музеи в България, Румъния и Сърбия. Тези препоръки имат за цел да отстранят идентифицираните недостатъци и да подобрят цялостното цифрово изживяване, предоставяно от тези институции.The article focuses on analyzing the websites of three prominent national museums in Romania, Bulgaria, and Serbia. These websites are examined within the broader context of the cultural institutions' activities, as they hold significant importance in the cultural infrastructure of their respective neighboring Balkan countries. A comparison table is utilized to establish evaluation criteria for the digital platforms, with a particular emphasis on content.
The article extensively characterizes the sections dedicated to the main and temporary exhibitions, which play a crucial role in facilitating digital engagement with both existing and potential audiences. The chosen approaches for showcasing museum teams and collections are also scrutinized. In addition, gaps and inconsistencies are identified by comparing these websites with others in the museum domain. The evaluation of video materials and digital tours of the exhibitions adheres to the high standards set by modern digital technologies in the cultural sector.
Consequently, the article concludes by formulating three recommendations aimed at enhancing the websites of the national history museums in Bulgaria, Romania, and Serbia. These recommendations are intended to address the identified shortcomings and improve the overall digital experience provided by these institutions
