В статията се предлага концептуална рамка за анализ на обществените нагласи към социалистическото наследство в България като туристическа дестинация. Предложената рамка позволява идентифицирането на различните прояви на обществените нагласи спрямо социалистическото наследство степенувайки ги градивно от любов до омраза в посткоминистчиния период.The paper propose a conceptual framework of societal attitudes towards the socialist heritage in Bulgaria as a country with controversial socialist legacies in the field of tourism. The analysis aims to investigate the different expressions of sociatel approach to the heritage of the communist period of Bulgaria and what is the attitude, feelings, actions of the society towards this heritage in the post-communist times
Понятието "Да притежаваш класа"
Какво означава един човек да притежава "класа"? Произходът или поведението определят класата на личността? Материалът разглежда различни смислови конотации на понятието "класа" на ниво личност и прави опит за неговото дефиниране и категоризиране от гледна точка на основни нравствено-естетически и философски принципи и концепции. Заключението от проучването представя класата като морално и материално независима категория, която е свързана с иманентна за личността способност за отказ от зависимост както към материални, така и към духовни стимули. Човекът, притежаващ класа, ще си тръгне с еднакво безразличие и от ада и от рая. Той е чиста еманация на себенадмогването без значение от крайната цел.What does it mean to be a classy person? Does origin or behavior determine whether one is going to be a classy person? Various semantic connotations of the concept of being a classy person are examined in this paper at the level of personality and definion and categorization in terms of basic moral-aesthetic and philosophical principles and concepts has been attempted. In conclusion, being a classy person is presented as a morally independent category, which is associated with an individual's inherent ability to be free from dependence on both material and spiritual stimuli. A classy person will walk away with the same indifference from both heaven and hell. Such a person is a pure emanation of self-overcoming regardless of the ultimate goal
Алгоритми за анализ на кардиологични данни, базирани на уейвлет теория
The report presents tools for analyzing cardiac data using various wavelet transforms. Algorithms for the analysis of heart rate variability, which is a dynamic, non-stationary variable, are presented. Heart rate analysis with mathematically based methods is a topical issue. Electrocardiography and long-term Holter recordings have established themselves as non-invasive medical methods for assessing cardiovascular activity. In the time domain parameters established in practice are determined. Spectral analysis of heart rate variability makes it possible to assess the work of the heart and to assess its condition in the coming days. Spectral analysis is usually performed in three frequency bands and can be done by different mathematical methods. The analyzes were performed on real long-term Holter records for patients with proven heart disease diagnosed by a cardiologist and for people without cardiovascular problems. The presented numerical and graphical results were obtained with the help of the MATLAB software program. Comparative analyzes show differences in the studied frequency parameters between patients with heart disease and healthy individuals. Българската иконопис има многовековна история, споделила тежката съдба на народа ни, преминал през превратности, върхове и падения. Тя е важен елемент от националното ни културно и историческо наследство. Днес, независимо от редица благоприятни обстоятелства, българската иконопис е изправена отново пред много предизвикателства и опасност да се загуби традицията. Докладът повдига основни актуални проблеми, стоящи пред иконописци и реставратори, свързани с изясняване на границите на православните традиции.Bulgarian iconography is centuries old and, as its peoples, has both suffered and triumphed from the heavy hand that destiny has dealt them. It is an important element of our national, historical and cultural heritage. Today, the number of fortuitous circumstances notwithstanding, the Bulgarian iconography is facing multitude of challenges, including the danger of the loss of its tradition. This report raises the core present-day issues iconographs and restorers face, issues related to the limits of the orthodox tradition

Статията представя българската възрожденска архитектура в контекста на информатиката, и по-специално на изкуствения интелект. Онтологичното инженерство се занимава със семантично моделиране на реални концепции и връзките между тях под въздействието на семантични аксиоми и машинно четими съждения. Онтологиите, описани в статията, са разработени, за да бъдат включени в хранилище с множество онтологии за българско културно-историческо наследство.The article presents the Bulgarian Revival architecture in the context of Informatics, and in particular of the Artificial Intelligence. Ontological engineering is dealing with the semantic modeling of real-world concepts and the relations between them under the influence of semantic axioms and machine-readable judgments. Ontologies that are described in the article were developed to be included in the repository with multiple ontologies for Bulgarian cultural and historical heritage
Strong Maximum Principle for Viscosity Solutions of Fully Nonlinear Cooperative Elliptic Systems
In this paper, we consider the validity of the strong maximum principle for weakly
coupled, degenerate and cooperative elliptic systems in a bounded domain. In particular, we are
interested in the viscosity solutions of elliptic systems with fully nonlinear degenerated principal
symbol. Applying the method of viscosity solutions, introduced by Crandall, Ishii and Lions in
1992, we prove the validity of strong interior and boundary maximum principle for semi-continuous
viscosity sub- and super-solutions of such nonlinear systems. For the first time in the literature, the
strong maximum principle is considered for viscosity solutions to nonlinear elliptic systems. As a
consequence of the strong interior maximum principle, we derive comparison principle for viscosity
sub- and super-solutions in case when on of them is a classical one. The main novelty of this work is
the reduction of the smoothness of the solution. In the literature the strong maximum principle is
proved for classical C^2 or generalized C^1 solutions, while we prove it for semi-continuous ones.Grant No KP-06N42-2/27.11.2020, financed

Metric Fourier Approximation of Set-Valued Functions of Bounded Variation
We introduce and investigate an adaptation of Fourier series to set-valued functions (multifunctions, SVFs) of bounded variation. In our approach we define an analogue of the partial sums of the Fourier series with the help of the Dirichlet kernel using the newly defined weighted metric integral. We derive error bounds for these approximants. As a consequence, we prove that the sequence of the partial sums converges pointwisely in the Hausdorff metric to the values of the approximated set-valued function at its points of continuity, or to a certain set described in terms of the metric selections of the approximated multifunction at a point of discontinuity. Our error bounds are obtained with the help of the new notions of one-sided local moduli and quasi-moduli of continuity which we discuss more generally for functions with values in metric spaces
Laplace Transforms of the Brownian Motion’s Fists Exit from a Strip
The aim of this paper is to investigate the Laplace transforms related to the first exit time from a strip of a Brownian motion. We suppose the existence of a deterministic terminal moment. If the exit time is before this moment, we know the corresponding value of the Brownian motion and hence we have to derive the Laplace transform of the exit time. Otherwise, if the Brownian motion stays in the strip till the terminal date, we determine the Brownian motion Laplace transform at this moment.Project KP-06-N32/8 with Bulgarian NS
Addressing Data Quality in Healthcare
Data quality is an important part of information processing, but its
application in practice is often underestimated. The complexity of data quality management, especially in the case of big data, makes it difficult to work in
different areas of application. Although medical records are a significant source of
errors in most cases data quality assessment on medical data is partially performed.
The presented data quality analysis and recommendations in this paper can help
physicians and software developers to understand better data quality dimensions,
identify gaps in quality assessment, and develop |own procedures and techniques
