Концепцията за интеракция и добавена реалност в произведения на изкуството
В изследването се разглежда начина, по който си взаимодействат произведения на визуалните изкуства, използващи добавена реалност (Augmented reality, AR) с реципиента. Разширените възможности на новите технологии позволяват стимулирането на човешките сетива на едно по-високо ниво, като това открива по-широки перспективи пред визуалните артисти за нови творчески търсения. Такива художници със своите творби се опитват да включат наблюдателя в тях, като предизвикват сетивата му, както на физическо, така и на психологическо ниво. Така чрез взаимодействието творба-наблюдател се дава нова роля за зрителя като активен участник и това прави неговото емоционално преживяване по-пълно. Търсят се и исторически връзки между концепцията за интерактивност, добавената реалност и визуалните изкуства. Не на последно място се споделя и личен опит при творческите търсения в областта на интерактивното изкуство, реализацията на такова с добавена реалност и в крайна сметка обратната връзка на зрителя-участник след потапянето му в това различно от конвенционалното, разширено преживяване.This research explores the way in which artworks with augmented reality (AR) interact with the recipient. The expanded capabilities of new technologies allow the stimulation of the human senses at a higher level, which opens wider perspectives for visual artists for new creative pursuits. Such artists with their works try to include the observer in them, challenging his senses, both on a physical and psychological level. Thus, through the interaction work-observer is given a new role for the viewer as an active participant and this makes his emotional experience more complete. Historical connections between the concept of interactivity, augmented reality and the visual arts are also sought. Last but not least, personal experience is shared in the creative search in the field of interactive art, the realization of one with augmented reality and ultimately the feedback of the viewer-participant after immersion in this different from the conventional, extended experience

It is a fact that employability of the graduates and post-graduates in engineering disciplines does not explicitly require any specific mathematical knowledge. It is unfortunate but true that even though Mathematics is the foundation of computer science it is now being considered as a totally separate subject. The inclusion of topics from Mathematics in the Computing Curricula all over the world has often times been very tough to justify. Mathematical foundations any beyond the first year in a typical Undergraduate Engineering programme are rarely found in the computing curricula today. The author is associated with working on teaching computer science to K-12 schools. Integrating Computer Science and Mathematics has a huge potential but so are the risks. Алгоритъм за топлинно изчисляване на двигател в инженерното образование
This review aims to acquaint readers with the methods used in calculation in disciplines of vocational education and in particular basic calculations in internal combustion engines. Within the framework of the exposition the theoretical bases in this field of thermodynamic calculation using Excel are considered. Each of the main sections contains developed examples for solving a specific problem using the specified algorithms. At the end are summarized the main advantages that require calculation. The text can be used by engineering practitioners who rely on their research, including assessments and analysis

This paper discusses the way physical and transport accessibility provide model or alternative to achievement of digital accessibility as contemporary social goal. Based on direct observation of actual accessibility in variety of public spaces, belonging to different social sectors, as well as to their virtual representation, we argue that digital access is rather a continuation, than only the other way round, when a space, event, or project are not organized in regard of recent global accessibility standards. Хуцулски народни носии (шевици, дантели, плетива) в колекцията на Етнографски музей "Северин Удзеля" в Краков
Статията представя изследването на хуцулската народна носия в колекцията на Етнографския музей "Северин Удзеля" в Краков. Колекцията от хуцулски народни носии, съхранявана в музея, е оформена на няколко етапа и е свързана с историята на два музея: Музея на технологиите и промишлеността (затворен през 1950 г.) и Националния музей в Краков. Основната част от колекцията е от края на 19-ти и първата половина на 20-ти век (до избухването на Втората световна война). Тази колекция включва дамски и мъжки облекла и няколко детски артикула. Оригинални орнаменти, цветове и видове облекла и аксесоари показват местното разнообразие на хуцулското облекло. Въпреки това, редица предмети изискват по-прецизно описание, а колекцията като цяло се нуждае от допълнително разработване – в контекста на социални, културни, етнографски и местни фактори – за да се дефинира и идентифицира феноменът на традиционната хуцулска народна носия.The article presents the research on the Hutsul folk costume in the collection of the Seweryn Udziela Ethnographic Museum in Krakow. The collection of the Hutsul folk costumes stored at the museum has been developed in several stages and is related to the history of two museums: the Museum of Technology and Industry (closed in 1950) and the National Museum in Krakow. The main part of the collection dates from the end of the 19th and the first half of the 20th centuries (until the outbreak of World War II). This collection includes women's and men's garments and a few children's items. Original ornaments, colors and types of garments and accessories show a local variety of the Hutsul clothing. Nevertheless, a number of objects require a more precise attribution, and the collection in general needs further elaboration – in the context of social, cultural, ethnographic and local factors – in order to define and identify the phenomenon of the traditional Hutsul folk costume
Съвременни стратегии за обучението на студентите от специалност "Изящни изкуства – Рисуване и интермедия" – интерактивни методи и техники
Днес се създават реални предпоставки за обновление във всички сфери на образователната система, което намира отражение в прилагането на нови образователни технологии. Качествено се променя най-вече ролята на учителя – освен преподаващ знанията и уменията, той става организатор, ръководител и партньор в учебния процес. Това важи с особена сила за обучението във висшите училища. Целта е превръщането на студента в творчески мислещ и активен човек. Много от методическите иновации включват използването на интерактивни методи на преподаване. Като се стъпва на традициите и без да се отхвърлят основните водещи закономерности при обучението, в специалност "Изящни изкуства – Рисуване и интермедия" на ФИИ се прилагат съвременни стратегии – интерактивни методи и техники. Създава се възможност както за "освобождаване" на художественотворческия процес на студентите от използването на клишета и "лесни решения", така и за активиране на творческото им въображение.Today, real prerequisites are being created for renewal in all spheres of the educational system, which is reflected in the application of new educational technologies. Qualitatively, the role of the teacher is mostly changing - in addition to teaching knowledge and skills, he becomes an organizer, leader and partner in the learning process. This is especially true for the higher education. The goal is to transform the student into a creative thinking and active person. Many of the methodological innovations include the use of interactive teaching methods. Following the traditions and without rejecting the main leading regularities in education, modern strategies - interactive methods and techniques are applied in the "Fine Arts - Drawing and Intermedia" specialty of The Faculty of Fine Arts. An opportunity is created both to "liberate" the artistic process of the students from the use of clichés and "easy solutions" and to activate their creative imagination
A Class of Fibonacci Matrices, Graphs, and Games
In this paper, we define a class of Fibonacci graphs as graphs whose adjacency matrices are obtained by alternating binary Fibonacci words. We show that Fibonacci graphs are close in size to Turán graphs and that their size-stability tradeoff defined as the product of their size and stability number is very close to the maximum possible over all bipartite graphs. We also consider a combinatorial game based on sequential vertex deletions and show that the Fibonacci graphs are extremal regarding the number of rounds in which the game can terminate
Taylor Series for the Mittag–Leffler Functions and Their Multi-Index Analogues
It has been obtained that the n-th derivative of the 2-parametric Mittag–Leffler function is a 3-parametric Mittag–Leffler function, with exactness to a constant. Following the analogy, the author later obtained the n-th derivative of the 2
-parametric multi-index Mittag–Leffler function. It turns out that this is expressed via the 3
-parametric Mittag–Leffler function. In this paper, upper estimates of the remainder terms of these derivatives are found, depending on n. Some asymptotics are also found for “large” values of the parameters. Further, the Taylor series of the 2 and 2
-parametric Mittag–Leffler functions around a given point are obtained. Their coefficients are expressed through the values of the corresponding n-th order derivatives at this point. The convergence of the series to the represented Mittag–Leffler functions is justified. Finally, the Bessel-type functions are discussed as special cases of the multi-index (2
-parametric) Mittag–Leffler functions. Their Taylor series are derived from the general case as corollaries, as well
The Impact and Progression of the COVID-19 Pandemic in Bulgaria in Its First Two Years
After initially having low levels of SARS-CoV-2 infections for much of the year, Bulgaria experienced a major epidemic surge at the end of 2020, which caused the highest recorded excess mortality in Europe, among the highest in the word (Excess Mortality Rate, or EMR ∼0.25%). Two more major waves followed in 2021, followed by another one in early 2022. In this study, we analyze the temporal and spatial patterns of excess mortality at the national and local levels and across different demographic groups in Bulgaria and compare those to the European levels. Bulgaria has continued to exhibit the previous pattern of extremely high excess mortality, as measured both by crude mortality metrics (an EMR of ∼1.05%, up to the end of March 2022) and by standardized ones—Potential Years of Life Lost (PYLL) and Aged-Standardized Years of life lost Rate (ASYR). Unlike Western Europe, the bulk of excess mortality in Bulgaria, as well as in several other countries in Eastern Europe, occurred in the second year of the pandemic, likely related to the differences in the levels of vaccination coverage between these regions. We also observe even more extreme levels of excess mortality at the regional level and in some subpopulations (e.g., total EMR values for males ≥ 2% and EMR values for males aged 40–64 ≥ 1% in certain areas). Innovative Digital Stochastic Methods for Multidimensional Sensitivity Analysis in Air Pollution Modelling
Nowadays, much of the world has a regional air pollution strategy to limit and decrease the pollution levels across governmental borders and control their impact on human health and ecological systems. Environmental protection is among the leading priorities worldwide. Many challenges in this research area exist since it is a painful subject for society and a fundamental topic for the healthcare system. Sensitivity analysis has a fundamental role during the process of validating a large-scale air pollution computational models to ensure their accuracy and reliability. We apply the best available stochastic algorithms for multidimensional sensitivity analysis of the UNI-DEM model, which plays a key role in the management of the many self-governed systems and data that form the basis for forecasting and analyzing the consequences of possible climate change. We develop two new highly convergent digital sequences with special generating matrices, which show significant improvement over the best available existing stochastic methods for measuring the sensitivity indices of the digital ecosystem.
