Development of Management File Sharing System not requiring File Server Specialized for Server Management System
Full text linkIn the file servers that are normally used to share management files in server management systems, complicated controls, such as management file sharing methods, are required both as preparation against failure and to ensure file server redundancy. To facilitate such efforts, we propose a management file sharing system (MFSS) for server management systems that does not require a specialized file server. Herein, the detailed configuration of our proposed MFSS, its operation at the times of server failure and recovery, and its overall performance are discussed and evaluated. Then, using various examples, including a high-availability server system and a power-saving server system that utilize different management timings, we demonstrate the utility of our proposed MFSS.departmental bulletin pape
Significance of teaching profession in modern Japanese education : From consideration of how teachers work
Full text link本稿の目的は、現代日本における教師の置かれているゆゆしき状況を打開すべく、学校現場の教師を応援するため、今後の日本の教職の在り方及び望ましい教師の姿を探っていくことである。教師のためのより良い働き方を検討した結果、教師は同僚性(collegiality)を築き、教師自身が日常生活の中でwell-beingを追求することで、教師は仕事にやりがいを感じ、多忙感が解消されることが示唆された。そして、子どもの前で教師が生き生きとした姿を見せることは、現代日本の公教育における教職の意義であり、理想的な教師の姿であることがわかった。The purpose of this article is to explore a future vision of Japanese teaching professions and desirable teachers in order to assist teachers in the field of school and overcome the difficult present situations of teachers. Based on the previous studies and reports, this paper suggests teachers build collegial relationships, and pursue their own well-being in everyday life, making teachers more rewarding and lessen their heavy worked. It was also found that showing a lively appearance of a teacher in front of a child is the significance of the teaching profession in public education in modern Japan, and is an ideal teacher.departmental bulletin pape
A Study on Ann Radcliff ―Mothers Lost & Found―
Full text linkThe social and economic position of women underwent a radical change throughout the eighteenth century in England. As the capitalism-based economy developed and expanded in the industrializing society, women were displaced from the public domain, and their subsistence was increasingly dependent upon their husbands or fathers. How women could be properly fitted in the society was a great concern. It urged the construction of feminine ideology and the role of women as a domestic center. Novels as a new literary genre explored the status and role suitable for women in the growing bourgeois society. Marginalized women had no choice but to participate in the ideology of separate spheres permeating in the middle-class society. The anxiety and fear they confronted generated many female writers as well as female readers.
Ann Radcliffe, one of the main Gothic writers in the eighteenth century, explored the situation in which women were placed in the competitive patriarchal society. She was clever enough to delineate the sufferings and desire of oppressed women under the disguise of a Gothic setting far from the real world. Her heroines, deprived of her family and home, strive for survival, and finally obtain what they really need. The characteristic patterns are repeated in her four novels: the discovery of the father, the discovery of the mother, and the compassionate marriage with a powerless hero. Development of a Rehabilitation Robot for Wrist Joint
Full text linkこれまで患者の手首ステップ追跡運動を定量的に評価するリハビリシステム装置が存在した。しかし、従来の測定装置はモータを利用してはなく、ポテンショメータだけで軌道のみ測定された。又はハンドルを握ると筋活動の分析の際には指の筋電信号のクロストーク(crosstalk)ノイズが出ていること。運動軌道を測定するだけではリハビリ訓練を行うことが出来ない。上記の問題点を解決するため、またリハビリ訓練を行う上で、ロボット技術の導入によるブラシレスモータを使用し、2自由度(DOF)の反力を返すことができるリハビリ装置の開発を実施した。So far, there has been a rehabilitation system device that investigates motor characteristics during circular tracking movements of the human wrist. However, this device only uses potentiometers and does not use any motors. As a result, only the motion trajectory can be measured.
When the patients hold the machine for analyzing muscle activity, there will be crosstalk noise that in the finger myoelectric signal. In addition, this device can only the function of measuring the motion trajectory can be realized but the rehabilitation training cannot be realized. In order to solve the above problems and to ensure the basis of rehabilitation training. Increase the entertainment of training, alleviate the shortage of human resources, and develop better and more effective device. We developed a rehabilitation device that can return a reaction force of 2 degrees of freedom (DOF) using a brushless motor by introducing robot technology and simulated safety.departmental bulletin pape
Ladies in the Rain: A Comparative Study on Lo sceicco bianco and Rainy Day in New York
Full text linkJewish-American director Woody Allenʼs new film A Rainy Day in New York (2019) got involved in gender trouble because film producer Harvey Weinstein was accused of sexual abuse for female-actors. Film critics Brad Stevens called the film maudis so that Amazon Prime Video canceled the distribution contract of it. From the narratological point of view, the plot of A Rainy Day in New York, a young couple’s travel to the big city and faced a catastrophic crisis of their relationship, was based on one of Lo sceicco bianco (1952) by Italian director Federico Fellini. With the supports of Freudian psychoanalytic theory, we attempt to compare Allen’s film with Fellini’s and to prove the influence and the difference of both films.departmental bulletin pape
