本編は、「Society5.0」における教育を考えるシリーズの(6)編目である。第1章では、Society5.0に生きる学生の科学教育を検討した。第2章で は、Covid-19は教育を変えるのかについて検討した。
The purpose of this study is to consider the new education system suggested by Japanese Government. The system is called Society 5.0. In modern society, development of technology has changed the life of man and education. Increase in female students with low back strength index at Tokyo Polytechnic University
本研究の目的は、東京工芸大における低-背筋力指数(L-BI)を有する女子学生の動向を調べることである。本研究の対象者は、1998年度から2018年度までの工学部1年女子学生1358人(18-19歳)であった。本研究では、背筋力指数(背筋力/体重)1.0未満をL-BIとした。結果として、本研究の女子学生の背筋力指数は、1998年度の1.47±0.34から2018年の1.22±0.24まで低下傾向を示した。L-BIの女子学生の割合は、2008年度以前は10%前後であったが、2009年度以降は20%前後に増加した。このようなL-BIの女子学生の増加には、日常の身体活動不足や座作業時間の延長などのライフスタイルの変化が影響していると推測された。The purpose of this study is to investigate the tends of female students with low back strength index (L-BI) at Tokyo Polytechnic University from academic year (AY) 1998 to AY2018. A total of 1358 firstyear female students (18-19 years old) participated in the study. The back strength index has ecreased from 1.47±0.34 in AY1998 to 1.22±0.24 in AY2018. The percentage of female students with L-BI (less than 1.0) was about 10% until AY2008, but has increased to about 20% since AY2009. Possibilities and Challenges of Integrating Engineering and Sociology in Artificial Intelligence Research- A Study on the Relationship between R&D and Social Expectations -
本研究は, 人工知能研究における工学研究と社会学研究の融合の可能性, 及び課題を検討するものである.具体的には, 人工知能に関わる技術を起点とした研究開発の実態を社会的期待が凌駕しているのではないか, という点について新聞記事から分析する. すると, 工学研究と受容社会との間では, 溝が生じているというよりも, 利用者側が研究に対する理解を進め始めていることが示唆された. こうした社会の実態把握及びステイクホルダーを巻き込んだ人工知能研究を行うには, 工学と社会学の学際研究や学術外までをも巻き込んだ超学際研究の可能性についても言及する.
This study examines the possibilities and challenges of integrating engineering and sociology in artificial intelligence(AI) research. We review the current AI boom in terms of R&D and social expectations, and then analyze newspaper articles to see if social expectations are outweighing the reality of R&D. The results suggest that the users are trying to deepen their understanding of the research, rather than widening the gap between engineering research and society. Preservation and legibility of Bird Seal Script stroke structure -Analysis and verification of decorative stroke deformation-
Bird Seal Script is an engraving typeface that was used for seals in the Chinese continent during the Han Dynasty. The origin of this typeface is a bronze inscription made in southern China during the Spring and Autumn period and Warring period. The ultimate goal of this study is to prove that the Bird Seal Script is the oldest typeface that intentionally uses non-verbal communication functions in the Kanji cultural sphere.
In this article, we analyzed the shape of the Bird seal script, which has poor legibility, and confirmed that the structure of the stroke remains unchanged. This proved that the Bird seal script has legibility and language transfer function, and confirmed the premise that the Bird Seal Script can be evaluated as a typeface. In addition, it was suggested that reducing the readability and legibility of characters has the effect of increasing the confidentiality of the seal.departmental bulletin pape

本論では、第1章でSociety 5.0における大学組織マネジメントについて論じた。第2章では、Society 5.0に向けた科学技術教育について論じた。第3章では、Society 5.0における情報科学教育について論じた。The purpose of this study is to consider the new education system suggested by Japanese Government. The system is called Society 5.0. Chapter 1 tries to consider the relevance of Society5.0 and the organization of University, referring to the characteristic of intellectual capital management at university. In chapter 2, Kawasumi describes what should lecture on “Science and Technology in Modern Society” for Society 5.0. In chapter 3, Kashiwagi addresses computer science problems and describes informatics education in Modern Society” for Society 5.0.departmental bulletin pape
