Study on the education in "Society 5.0."(5)~Consideration about the education in future Society~
第1章STEM教育と数学教育では、テクノロジーの導入の動きと日本、STEM教育と数学教育、数学教育からみたSTEM教育の課題、プログラミング教育、データサイエンスの勃興について論じた。次に、第2章大学における教養教育からの検討では、Society 5.0における人間の本質と発展についてアイデンティティから論じ、大学における教養教育での参加型授業の試みについて振り返った。The purpose of this study is to consider the new education system suggested by Japanese Government. The system is called Society 5.0. In chapter 1, Ueno considers STEM education, which is expected to have a significant impact on mathematics education in the future. Especially,"information" and "statistics," which were not considered to be the mainstream of mathematics in mathematics education, have emerged as new terms of programming education and data science. 本研究は、滝沢・重光・小沢(2019)からスタートした一連の Society5.0の論考の続編である。文科省の資料によれば、Society5.0の社会像は「Al技術の発達」「経済社会」「課題」「人間の強み」の観点から説明されている。文科省の文書は、受け身的で、予想や推測をもとに語られている部分、また、人材、人、 生徒、学生をどのようにとらえるか、抽象的な表現もあり、学校現場、教員とその抽象的概念が共有されているかどう かも検討する余地はある。いずれにせよ、政策に教育がどのような影態を受けるか、政策転換に対応できるのか、トップが変わったときにこの考えは維持されるのかを俯眼しながら、Society5.0政策に対応する教育について論じなければならないと考えられる。本研究では、人材育成に焦点をあて、第2章は滝沢が「AI時代におけるAL(アクティブラーニング)の意義について」を論ずる。ま た、第3章では重光が「Society5.0で求められる英語力と英語指導」について論ずる。This paper consists of two topics from a pedagogical viewpoint. One is about relationships AI and Active Learning teaching method written by Takizawa (Chapter 2). The other is on Society 5.0 and teaching English speaking skills (Chapter 3) written by Shigemitsu. According to Takizawa, active learning is a learning process that will become a key role to form “a zest for life”. It means to enable students to solidly acquire basic and fundamental knowledge and skills, to foster the ability to think, to make decisions, to express themselves and other abilities that are necessary to solve problems by using acquired knowledge and skills, to cultivate an attitude of proactive learning and to develop pupils’ individuality. However, AI would transform economic activities and bring disparities among citizens. Therefore, it is considered that the power of common understanding that everyone can enjoy and maintain the possibility of life through basic income is also required.Shigemitsu claims in Chapter 2 that society 5.0 does not directly cover English education. She also says that the concept of society 5.0 might affect English teaching, illustrating how English speaking test would have been introduced. Society 5.0 is proposed from the viewpoint of Economy and Business federation, so researchers in the field of education should watch their suggestion will pursue for a zest for life from a pedagogical point of view.departmental bulletin pape
深層学習に基づいた屋外大型駐車場の空きスペースの検出
Parking management is a hard work for many parking agents in outdoor parking lots. It is difficult to have overall information about vacant and occupied spot in outdoor parking arear.An effective detection method of empty space would reduce physical labor and increase the efficiency of utilizing the parking spot information. In this paper, we implemented a system to detect empty space in a spread parking lot with a deep learning algorithm. The detection method was accomplished with a convolutional neural net (CNN) based on the You Only Look Once (YOLO) model architectures.Using a DJI camera drone, we make an image dataset to perform train and test for YOLO, which is a powerful object detection model. Results of our experiments using our dataset showed that the proposed system is effective for implementing an empty space detection in spread parking lots.departmental bulletin pape
Improvement of the phase measurement accuracy of common-path phase-shifting interference microscope using a Fresnel biprism
光導波路や活きた生物細胞の高精度定量計測のために、我々は複プリズムやウォラストンプリズムの横移動を用いた共通光路位相シフト干渉顕微鏡を開発してきた。この方法では、交通光路の構造から、除振台なしでの干渉計測が可能や、非常に高い位相計測の安定性と再現性をゆする。本研究では、このような特徴を活かし、システム誤差や位相シフト誤差の低減法を提案し、サブナノの位相計測再現性を実現した。Several techniques are presented for improving the phase measurement accuracy of the common-path phase-shifting interference microscope. Experimental results for elimination of the system phase error using a subtraction procedure is shown. The residual RMS phase error smaller as λ/1000 corresponding to 0.6nm was achieved. Experimental results for measuring the refractive index distribution of polarization-maintaining optical fibers are presented to demonstrate the usefulness of the method.departmental bulletin pape
