Interaction-Based English Instruction for Beginner Learners: Analyzing the Acquisition Process and Challenges
Full text link本研究では、 会話を「やりとりの持続」という観点から捉え、 英語会話の指導において、 特にやりとりが継続する会話を意識したインタラクションの指導方法を検討する。 岩田他 （印刷中）が実施したパイロット授業の手法を毎回の授業に取り入れ、実際の授業における指導の過程を分析するとともに、15組34名の学生による英語会話の記録を精査することで、 岩田他（印刷中） が提案する効果的な指導方法を再検証することを目的とする。This study examines the effectiveness of interaction-focused English conversation instruction by analyzing students’ preparatory notes for an oral performance test. The analysis of submitted notes reveals that students successfully incorporated several key instructional elements proposed by Iwata et al. (in press), such as asking follow-up questions, providing detailed responses, and deepening interaction through self-disclosure. However, certain aspects, including storytelling (second stories) and expressive responses (e.g., exclamations), require further improvement. To address these challenges, the study proposes instructional strategies that support students with limited vocabulary
and grammatical confidence. These strategies include structured self-disclosure activities, explicit training in backchanneling and conversational turns, and step-by-step expansion of responses. Findings suggest that a progressive approach to interactional instruction enhances students’ ability to sustain conversations and express their ideas with greater confidence.departmental bulletin pape

The Way of the Film Actor ― Acting Method that Nurtures the Cinematic Poetic Body
Full text linkThe purpose of this paper is to explore the poetic acting method rooted in the unconsciousness of the actor's performance, one of the elements that generate the cinematic poetic body , from the perspective of directing and acting training methods.The cinematic poetic body refers to the actor's body that cannot be recovered in the narrative or meaning of a film. It is a phenomenon peculiar to cinema with a coincidental nature that is generated between the director, the actor, and the camera. The poetic acting method refers to an acting method based on physical sensitivity and unconsciousness that arise from mutual inspiration with the outside world.This research considers analytical and practical perspectives.In the analytical dimension, through an analysis of the characteristics of the film body , this study explores the importance of the poetic acting method for film actors. The practical aspect discussed how to approach the poetic acting method from the acting side, using the training methods.本論は映画における「詩的身体」が生成する要素の一つ——俳優の演技における無意識に根差す「詩的身体演技法」を身につける方法を巡って、演技訓練の角度から考察することを研究目的としている。「詩的身体」とは、映画における物語や意味に回収できない俳優の身体のことを指している。それは演出、演技者、カメラの間で生成する、偶然性を備えた映画特有の現象である。「詩的身体演技法」とは、演者が主観的な心理に基づいて主体的に表現するのではない、外部との相互触発から生まれる身体的感受性と無意識を重視する演技様式である。本論が用いた研究方法は「分析」と「応用」という２つの次元である。分析的な次元では、映画の身体イメージの特徴に対する分析を通して、映画演技者にとって、受動的、無意識に根差す身体的創作力——「詩的身体演技法」の重要性を論じた。応用的な次元では、筆者が俳優育成の現場で応用した訓練を事例にしながら、演技側から「詩的身体演技法」を身につける方法を考察した。departmental bulletin pape
Report on the Year of Broadcast of Mitsuwa Soap Corporation Puppet Animation Commercial.
Full text linkI pursued the contradiction between the history of puppet animation and the history of commercials by
examining the year when Mitsuwa Soap' s commercials began airing.
According to the CM history, a Mitsuwa Soap commercial featuring a puppet animation of three girls was
broadcast in 1954.
However, a discrepancy arises because Shiba Productions, which produced that commercial, was established
in 1958. Additionally, we were unable to find any text or images from books from the 1950s describing about
the puppet animation of three girls.
As a result of various verifications, it is more likely that the commercial song was broadcast on radio and TV
from 1954, but the puppet animation using puppets of the three girls did not appear until after 1954. 1954 was
only the second year of television broadcasting in Japan. I conclude that the history of commercials and the
history of puppet animation have been studied separately, and that the historical discrepancy may have been

Motion Analysis of Figure Skating Using Motion Capture -Comparison of Advanced and Intermediate Double Axels-
Full text linkフギュアスケートの上級者と中級者の動作の違いを定量的に示すことを目的として、特にダブルアクセルジャンプ中の身体動作の特徴を、モーションキャプチャデータにより解析した。その結果、中級者は、一連のジャンプ動作において、足が氷から離れるタイミングよりも前に体の回転が始まっていたり、ジャンプ前の上体や膝の屈曲角度の変化が上級者よりも大きいことが示された。今回示された動作の特徴を改善することにより、中級者の技術の向上が期待される。In this study, the use of a motion capture system revealed differences in movement between advanced and intermediate skaters.Furthermore, it also enabled the identification of areas for
