Peningkatan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Melalui Model Pembelajaran Pemerolehan Konsep untuk Siswa SMP
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dan aktivitas peserat didik terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran pemerolehan konsep. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah Penilaian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa tes siklus I, II, dan IIl serta lembar observasi aktivitas belajar peserta didik. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IX G SMP Negeri 13 Surabaya yang berjumlah 32 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik menggunakan penerapan model pembelajaran pemerolehan konsep telah mengalami peningkatan dan menunjukkan peningkatan pada aktivitas belajar peserta didik yang dapat dilihat dari hasil observasi pada setiap siklusnya telah mengalami peningkatan

Analisis Respon Minat Belajar Peserta Didik Terhadap Pembelajaran Fisika Berbasis Musik Materi Gelombang Bunyi
No full text Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran fisika terintegrasi musik gamelan dan gitar pada materi gelombang bunyi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI-XII SMA/sederajat pada beberapa sekolah di kabupaten jember. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan bantuan distribusi presentase, statistik deskriptif dan observasi tidak terstruktur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa respon peserta didik terhadap potensi linkungan dan minat peserta didik yang berkaitan dengan seni musik masih kurang, sedangkan pemahaman peserta didik tentang konsep awal gelombang bunyi rata rata 80% responden sudah memahaminya. Hasil penelitian juga menyatakan bahwa respon peserta didik terhadap konsep gelombang bunyi jika di integerasikan dengan fenomena music rata rata 85% responden sudah memahami konsep gelombang bunyi terntegrasi musik

Get PDFThis research is based on the importance of using simple media in knowing students' eye coordination through the throwing and catching baseball tests and hitting the dropped baseball tests. This research is a descriptive qualitative approach with a field trial survey method with a total of 27 students from class V SD Muhammadiyah 1 Panji. Data collection using instruments in the form of eye coordination measurement tests on each student in turn, students are given the opportunity to throw then catch the ball and hit the dropped ball 5 times. Based on the results of the research, it is known that the eye coordination ability through the throwing and catching ball test mostly has a very poor category with an average value of 2.40, while the results of the eye coordination test through the ball hitting baseball test have a very poor category with an average value of 1 ,6, therefore there is a need for special training that emphasizes the eye-hand coordination of student

No full textStudents in elementary school really need the right motor skill development process in order to get an optimal level of development. Development can be done properly if the teacher already knows the level of students' basic motor skills. The purpose of this study was to improve children's motor skills with a focus on body proficient abilities in fifth grade students of SD Namira Kraksaan. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach to 20 students. The study used three test items to determine the motoric development of students, including sitting up, long jump, and sit-ups. The results of the first session of the study showed that there was 1 student who did not pass the sit-up test. The treatment given is focused on the sit-up test, which is doing the sit-up steps correctly. The conclusion of this study is that the application of sit-up learning activities can support the completeness of students' motor development test result
INVESTIGATING TYPE OF ISLAMIC INTEGRATION IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING AT SMP YA BAKII 1 KESUGIHAN CILACAP
Get PDFThis study was carried out to describe the types of Islamic integration taught in English Language Teaching in seventh grade Junior High School. In addition, the focus in this study is also to find out students’ and teachers’ responses related to English Language Teaching in seventh grade which is integrated with Islamic values. A qualitative descriptive research design was used in this study. The study involved one English teacher and six students of seventh grade. The type of integration in this study was proposed to Amin Abdullah. Based on the result of the study by interviewing and analyzing lesson plan, the researcher concluded that the type of integration carried out in English Language Learning was interconnected entities. In addition, based on the result of the students’ and teachers’ interview, students and teacher gave positive responses related to English learning which was integrated with Islamic values. English language teaching that integrated with Islamic values provided benefits and made students happy. In addition, students also got Islamic knowledge in learning and students feel not disturbed in understanding English lesson
The Implementation of Authentic Assessment to Evaluate the Students’ Speaking Skill
No full textThe study mainly aims at describing the implementation of authentic assessment to evaluate the students’ speaking skill in the classroom that conducted by lecturer. The objectives of this study were: to describe the authentic assessment implementation, lecturers’ achievement, their problems, causes of their problems. The research design was case study. Two English lecturers were chosen as the subjects. The fourteen class observations, questionnaire and interview were conducted to collect the data. The data were analyzed by using Miles and Huberman’ model of analysis. The findings showed that basically, two English lecturers have just implemented the authentic assessment but they have not been able to implement it completely, properly, and smoothly in speaking class yet. Some suggestions can be given in the study. They should prepare the time allotment properly before preparing, implementing, and scoring students’ skill, look for many references, join workshop or conference that relating to the authentic assessment in order to understand the ways to design and implement the authentic assessment, score students’ skill and practice them correctly
Designing a Computer Based Test Version of a Vocabulary Test
Get PDFThis research aims to design a Computer Based Test Version of an Academic Vocabulary Test. This study is intended to portray students' capacity in understanding Academic Vocabulary. Also, this research also describes the student's perception of the utilization of the computer-based test. In this study, media and material specialist were involved to confirm the content validity and product quality. Other than that, there are 50 learners participated as the test taker. Surveys and Academic Vocabulary Test was done to resemble the data. Evaluation regarding the program was completed concerning material and the aspects of the media. The suggestion given by the expert were utilized to enhance the utilization of the computer-based test. The validator recommends utilizing four steps; creating interface, coding, publishing, and packaging. Moreover, after the utilization of Computer Based Test, the English Teacher Education Department students' capacity in understanding the meaning of Academic Vocabulary is known in the average level. They have got the average mean score of 53 for the vocabulary test. On the other hand, the result of non-English Teacher Education Department students' capacity in doing the test is in the low level. They have got the average mean score of 35 for the vocabulary test. Moreover, the student's opinion shows that there are 95,5% of the students provide a positive perception to the utilization of A Computer Based Test. They feel positive because of the practicality, and the particular effectiveness of the program to describe students' capacity in understanding Academic Vocabulary.
Teaching English towards the Hearing-Impaired Students
Get PDF The EFL teaching is challenging. Moreover, teaching English towards the hearing-impaired students (hereafter HIS) must have its own uniqueness because of the greater challenges. The exploration in this phenomenological study goes with the teacher’s lived experience in teaching English especially vocabulary towards the HIS. Telling narratively of the teacher’s lived experience in teaching English towards the HIS is the purpose of this research. The descriptions go on the teacher’s understanding, belief, feeling, intention, and action which are elaborated by the purpose of the teaching, the materials, the technique, and the achievement. According to the findings, the purposes of teaching vocabulary are to enrich their vocabulary mastery and to proof that the HIS can learn language. The teacher can only teach simple words because it takes time and lots of efforts. Visualization is the best teaching technique ever for the HIS because it helps better memorization since it gives emotional feeling for them. In conclusion, the HIS can learn simple vocabulary. Visualization helps them memorizing words better.

As a result, these prospective teachers are better equipped to meet the demands of the digital age and provide meaningfuland engaging learning experiences for their future students. However, it is important for them to continue developing their pedagogical and content knowledge along with their technological skills to ensure a comprehensive and well-rounded TPACK profile
