Communal Space in the Settlement of Cibuntu Sentra Area, Bandung City
ABSTRACT : Cibuntu area is a residential area in the city of Bandung that already existed in the colonial era of the Dutch government before independent Indonesia which was partially inhabited by natives and as the settlement of Cibuntu began to be suspended in China and immigrants from the city inhabiting Cibuntu in Bandung became wrong one area with a diverse population. However, in 1937 there was an immigrant from which he founded a small, tofu-producing factory in the Cibuntu area of Bandung. Even though it is a small-scale home industry, the factory is the first and the beginning of the identity of the Cibuntu area as a center for tofu production. But with the time and time of Cibuntu region with limited space the settlement was getting more crowded. This research is intended to provide data and facts that occurred in the Cibuntu area of Bandung. PENGARUH AKTIVITAS PENDUKUNG TERHADAP KUALITAS VISUAL (Studi Kasus : Jalan Pahlawan Semarang)
Abstract:Pahlawan Street is one of the most favorite street corridor in Semarang. It is crowded by people every weekend not only because of its location itself but also because of the existence the surrounding buildings. It has wide pedestrian walk which triggered many activity support to begin. The presence of many activity support affect the visual quality of Pahlawan street. This research is aimed to know the influences of activity support towards visual quality of Pahlawan street A quantitative rasionalistic method is used by collecting literature study, questionnaires and field observationns..The method data analysis will use statistical analysis by regression test using SPSS 24.0 software for windows. The result of this research proved that activity support influences the visual quality of Pahlawan street.Keywords : activity support, visual quality, street corridor Abstrak: Koridor Jalan Pahlawan merupakan koridor jalan favorit yang cukup ramai dan berada di pusat Kota Semarang.Pada koridor jalan ini terdapat bangunan-bangunan tinggi yang menjadi magnet bagi warga untuk datang kesana.Keberadaan bangunan-bangunan tinggi disertai dengan jalur pedestrian yang lebar,tentu juga menjadi magnet bagi berkembangnya activity support yang terjadi disana.Dengan adanya activity support yang terbentuk di koridor Jalan Pahlawan tentu berpengaruh terhadap kualitas visualnya. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh tersebut,maka penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif rasionalistik.Metode pengumpulan data berupa studi literature, observasi lapangan, wawancara dan kuesioner. Metode analisis data yang digunakan berupa analisis statistic dengan uji regresi menggunakan program SPSS.Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh antara activity support terhadap kualitas visual koridor Jalan Pahlawan.Kata kunci : activity support,kualitas visual,korido
PENATAAN KAMPUNG NELAYAN DENGAN PENDEKATAN ARSITEKTUR EKOLOGI DI KELURAHAN BAGAN DELI KOTA MEDAN
Abstract: Indonesia is a maritime country that has abundant marine natural resources, with optimal and wise utilization, it will be a promising source of income for both the local community as well as the local area. Therefore, the infrastructure and maritime-related arrangements along the coast and the port are things that must be considered and developed. Gabion Port is one of the ports with the largest marine products in the province of North Sumatra, especially in the city of Medan. This port is located near Bagan Deli village which has not yet been optimally arranged and it has economic problems and serious environmental hygiene problems, so that with the application of the concept of ecological architecture can answer the existing problems through its principles. Some applications of ecological concepts in this arrangement can be seen from material aspects, energy aspects, building orientation, and utility aspects. The method used is the glass box method, by looking at elements that need to be applied to support the socio-economic activities of the local community. The results of this paper are in the form of the concept of structuring fishing villages which can be a solution to slum environmental problems and helps improve the economic level of local communities.Keyword: fishing village, ecological architecture, bagan deli Abstrak: Indonesia merupakan negara maritim yang memiliki sumber daya alam kelautan yang berlimpah, dengan pemanfaatan secara optimal dan bijak akan menjadi sumber pendapatan yang menjanjikan baik bagi masyarakat sekitar maupun daerah setempat. Untuk itu infrastruktur dan penataan terkait kelautan sepanjang pantai dan pelabuhan merupakan hal yang harus diperhatikan dan dikembangkan. Pelabuhan Gabion merupakan salah satu pelabuhan dengan hasil laut terbesar di kawasan provinsi Sumatera Utara khususnya kota Medan. Pelabuhan ini berada di dekat kelurahan bagan deli yangmana belum tertata secara optimal, serta memiliki masalah perkeonomian dan juga memiliki permasalahan kebersihan lingkungan yang cukup serius, sehingga dengan penerapan konsep arsitektur ekologi dapat menjawab permasalahan yang ada melalui prinsip-prinsipnya. Beberapa penerapan konsep ekologi pada penataan ini dapat dilihat dari aspek material, aspek energy, orientasi bangunan, dan aspek utilitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode glass box,dengan melihat elemen elemen yang perlu diterapkan untuk mendukung aktivitas social ekonomi masyarakat setempat. PENGEMBANGAN DESA WISATA BATIK DI DESA PUNGSARI KABUPATEN SRAGEN JAWA TENGAH
Abstract: Pungsari Village is a center for batik craftsmen who have long held the title of tourism villages in Sragen Regency. The title of this tourist village is one of the starting points for the growth of the creative economy embryo. These strategies make the environment something important and environmentally sound. In fact, the strategy has been programmed by the Ministry of Village with the theme of Development of Green Tourism Village in 2017. The program scenario has not used a development strategy that slogan "village build". For example, the development scenario does not yet entirely cover the village, such as: markets, settlements, rice fields, creative industries, and local socio-culture. Therefore, this article is intended to discuss aspects that can be done to develop Pungsari Tourism Village. This research is one of several definitions that can support the development of the village area. Furthermore, these parameters are to increase the tourism potential of tourist villages. This classification will be the basis for developing an environmentally sound rural area. Based on the results of this study, Pungsari Village has grouped characters into four additional clusters: socio-economic clusters, cultural-cultural clusters, residential clusters, and integrated development clusters.Keyword: Creative Economy; Scenario of Tourism Village Development; Planning ClusterAbstrak: Desa Pungsari merupakan sentra pengrajin batik yang telah lama memiliki gelar sebagai desa wisata di Kabupaten Sragen. Gelar desa wisata ini merupakan salah satu titik awal tumbuhnya embrio ekonomi kreatif. Strategi ini berpotensi sebagai penyerapan sumber daya lokal yang bersifat padat karya dan berwawasan lingkungan. Bahkan sebenarnya, strategi tersebut sudah diprogramkan Kementerian Desa dengan tema Pengembangan Desa Wisata Hijau pada tahun 2017. Skenario program tersebut belum mengacu pada strategi konsep pengembangan yang berslogan “desa membangunâ€. Sebagai contoh, skenario pengembangan belum seluruhnya mencakup potensi desa tersebut, seperti antara lain: pasar, permukiman, persawahan, industri kreatif batik, dan sosial-budaya setempat. Oleh karena itu, tulisan ini bermaksud untuk mendiskusikan aspek-aspek strategis yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengembangkan Desa Wisata Pungsari. Penelitian ini berangkat dari definisi variabel atau parameter yang dapat mendukung skema pengembangan kawasan desa tersebut. Selanjutnya, parameter tersebut digunakan untuk menyusun klasifikasi potensi desa wisata. Klasifikasi ini akan menjadi landasan pengembangan kawasan desa yang berwawasan lingkungan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, Desa Pungsari mempunyai karakter yang terkelompok menjadi empat kluster diantaranya : kluster sosial-ekonomi, kluster pendidikan-budaya, kluster pemukiman, dan kluster pengembangan terpadu.Kata Kunci: Ekonomi Kreatif; Skenario Pengembangan Desa Wisata; Kluster Perencanaa
ANALISIS ELEMEN FASAD PADA BANGUNAN KOLONIAL KARYA F.D. CUYPERS & HELSWIT DI KOTA CIREBON
Abstract: Colonial Architecture in Indonesia is a historical heritage that should be preserved. Characteristics of colonial architecture, among others, can be seen from the typology and elements forming its facade. The architectural consulting firm F.D. Cuypers & Hulswit whose works are spread in major cities of Indonesia is one of many influential architects during the Dutch colonial administration. This study describes the works of F.D. Cuypers & Hulswit based on elements forming their facade. The results of this study indicate the works of related architects, although they follow the development of existing styles and technologies, still maintain similarities in their characteristics.Keyword: facade, characteristic, colonialAbstrak: Arsitektur Kolonial di Indonesia merupakan peninggalan sejarah yang seharusnya dilestarikan. Karakteristik arsitektur kolonial antara lain dapat dilihat dari tipologi serta elemen-elemen pembentuk fasadnya. Dari sekian banyak arsitek-arsitek yang berpengaruh saat masa pemerintahan kolonial Belanda, adalah biro konsultan arsitektur F.D. Cuypers & Hulswit yang karya-karyanya tersebar di kota-kota besar Indonesia. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan karya-karya F.D. Cuypers & Hulswit berdasarkan elemen pembentuk fasadnya. PENGARUH WAKTU CURING TERHADAP KUAT TEKAN GEOPOLIMER BERBASIS FLY ASH
Abstract:. Suralaya power plant produces fly ash about 219.000 ton per year. Fly ash contents of silica and alumina as major components that can be used as precursors for geopolymer, a three dimensional networks aluminosilicate polymers. This research aim is to utilize fly ash for geopolymer made by mixing fly ash, fine aggregate, and alkali activator in a cubic mould and curing was carried out at room temperature for 7 and 28 days. After 28 days of curing the compressive strength of geopolymer reached 41.70 MPa. XRD characterization shows Albite (NaAlSi3O8) formation which has similarity to geopolymer compound. Fourier Transform Infra Red spectra show siloxo and sialate bond. These are typical functional groups that are found in geopolymer materials.Keyword: geopolymer, fly ash, aluminosilicate, alkali activator, albite, siloxo, sialateAbstrak: Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU) Suralaya menghasilkan fly ash (abu terbang) sekitar 219.000 ton per tahun. Fly ash memiliki silika dan alumina sebagai komponen utama yang dapat digunakan sebagai prekursor untuk geopolimer, suatu material polimer aluminosilikat tiga dimensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan fly ash untuk geopolimer yang dibuat dengan mencampur fly ash, agregat halus, dan aktivator alkali dalam cetakan kubik dan pengawetan dilakukan pada suhu kamar selama 7 dan 28 hari. Setelah 28 hari curing kekuatan tekan geopolimer mencapai 41,70 MPa. Karakterisasi XRD menunjukkan pembentukan Albite (NaAlSi3O8) yang memiliki kemiripan dengan senyawa geopolimer. Hasil spektroskopi Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) menunjukkan ikatan siloxo dan sialate yang merupakan gugus fungsional khas yang ditemukan dalam geopolimer.Kata Kunci: geopolimer, abu terbang, aluminosilikat, alkali aktivator, albite, siloxo, sialat
COMMUNICATION STRATEGY FOR TAX AMNESTY SOCIALIZATION
Abstract: The Tax Amnesty Program in Indonesia has been successfully implemented by the Directorate General of Taxes. With the communication strategy made by the Directorate General of Taxation P2Humas Directorate of Taxes, the tax amnesty program was awarded the world level organized by the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), the Golden World Award for Excellent in Public Relations 2018 in the Public Sector. IPRA considered that this tax amnesty program has bern achieved and remarkable achievements from the time which took place in mid-2016 to 2017. The purpose of this study is to know rhat communication strategie s such as what was done by the P2Humas Directorate in disseminating the Tax Amnesty program. This research use qualitative methods with qualitative descriptive research and constructivist paradigms. Based on the results of this study, it was found that the communication strategy carried out by the P2Humas Directorate in disseminating the Tax Amnesty program was to use all communication media, establish cooperative relations and conduct face-to-face socialization. Keywords: communication strategy, Public Relations, Amnesty Ta
ANALISIS PENGUKURAN KONSENTRASI KARBONMONOKSIDA (CO) PADA BREATHING ZONE PETUGAS PARKIR BASEMENT MALL KOTA BANDUNG
Indoor air pollution in a closed room is one of the air pollutions that gives serious threats to human health. One of them comes from vehicle gas emissions in the closed parking area. This research identifies and analyses CO concentration measured in Mall X parking man’s breathing zone with closed parking area and in Mall Y semi-opened parking area. CO measurement carried out by passive sampling method using Personal Dosimeter Tubes. The measurement result of CO gas concentration to parking man’s breathing zone in Mall X was 25 – 81,25 ppm with the average value in 50 ± 26,15 ppm. Meanwhile, CO gas concentration in Mall Y gave result 3,13 – 12,5 ppm with the average value in 7,88 ± 4,36 ppm. Correlation value between CO concentration and its intake in Mall X area was 0,9983, meanwhile correlation value between CO concentration and its intake in Mall Y area was 0,9903. It was concluded that CO gas concentration measured in parking man’s breathing zone influenced the differences in CO intake value in significance value. Keywords: carbon monoxide, indoor air pollution, passive sampling, vehicle emissio
IMPLEMENTATION OF GREEN ARCHITECTURE CONCEPT IN MOSQUE DESIGN : A FACE AND ISLAMIC DA’WAH
ABSTRACT : Mosque as a means of worship is very important for Indonesian people who are Muslim majority. Mosques in Indonesia have been numerous and will continue to grow. Environmental issues due to the many building developments have become a global concern today, from the limited natural resources, global warming, climate change, Urban Heat Island (UHI) to its impact on the comfort and health of people. The concept of green architecture has been used to minimize environmental damage from buildings. This design-based research will implement green architecture approach in the mosque design in the context of a particular location to identify problems, possible applications and potential development. The designated location is in the eastern area of Bandung, city gates that has fairly dense place of settlement and transportation.The results showed that green architecture approach with neighborhood perspective criteria can be applied, especially with large scale mosque such as the case. The approach is more holistic and relates to the type of communal building. Criterias such as (1)land ecological enchancement; (2)circulation, movement and connectivity; (3)water management and conservation (4)solid waste and material; (5)community wellbeing strategy; and (6)building and energy, can be applied by combining with various design ideas and responses of site problems. Keywords : Mosque, green architecture, research-based desig
Analysis Of Data Climate The Several Town In Indonesia For Support The Development Of Standard Adaptive Comfort The Traditional Homes.
ABSTRACT : According to the adaptive thermal comfort approach, the neutral temperatures or the comfortable temperature of building occupants can be predicted based on the average data of the outdoor air temperature in the vicinity of the residential buildings. Generally the residents of the residential buildings still feel comfortable in the range of zones 80% or plus minus two and a half degrees of comfortable temperature.This paper attempts to analyze the typical annual climate data was published by ASHRAE RP 1477 in the Year 2011 for the purpose of estimating the comfort zone of traditional buildings in Indonesia. The method was used is the statistical data processing of 28 cities in Indonesia, to be presented in the form of average, minimum, maximum, daily and monthly data. It is expected that this method will get selected daily data profile and monthly data. Furthermore, the monthly data calculated comfort zone follows the adaptive thermal equation of ASHRAE 55 2004.The existing data are expected later to be used to compare with the actual data of mean vote which have accumulated over several years of this measurement for prediction the comfort level of the existing traditional dwelling.Keywords : Typical Annual Climate Data; Adaptive Thermal Comfort; ASHRAE; Traditional Buildings; Natural Ventilatio
