KONSEP BIOPHILIC DALAM PERANCANGAN ARSITEKTUR
Abstract: Various attempts were made to reconnect humans with the buildings and places they inhabit. Biophilic design, as the newest theory of reconnection, essentially incorporates organic life into the built environment. This study aims to explore the biophilic concept in architectural design as a literacy reference in the field of architecture. The research method is through literature review and interviews with the primary data source of an architect and one other architect as a secondary data source. The collected data were analyzed using the Biophilia Architecture theory by Prof. Samalavicius (2020). The analysis showed that the primary source was not included in the Biophilia category, while the secondary data sources had applied the Biophilia concept. The study based on the Biophilic Architecture theory concludes that the concept of biophilic design is an architectural approach to solving residential needs problems by bringing the natural atmosphere into space as a therapy for its occupants both psychologically and physiologically. Meanwhile, understanding the creativity of an architect's work can be done through Intangible (intangible) and Tangible (real). The architectural design process consists of the analysis stage, the synthesis stage, and the evaluation stage, which are known as the divergent, transformation, and convergent stages.Abstrak: Berbagai upaya dilakukan untuk menghubungkan kembali manusia dengan bangunan dan tempat yang mereka huni. Desain biofilik sebagai teori rekoneksi terbaru, menggabungkan kehidupan organik ke dalam lingkungan binaan secara esensial. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggali konsep biophilic dalam perancangan arsitektur sebagai referensi literasi dalam bidang arsitektur. Metode penelitian melalui kajian literatur dan interview sumber data primer seorang arsitek dan satu orang arsitek lainnya sebagai sumber data sekunder. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan teori Biophilia Architecture oleh Prof. Samalavicius (2020). Hasil analisa menunjukkan sumber primer belum termasuk kategori Biophilia, sedangkan sumber data sekunder telah menerapkan konsep Biophilia. Pengkajian berdasarkan teori Biophilic Architecture disimpulkan bahwa konsep parancangan biophilic merupakan pendekatan arsitek untuk memecahkan permasalahan kebutuhan hunian dengan membawa suasana alam kedalam ruang sebagai terapi bagi penghuninya baik psikologis maupun fisiologis. Sedangkan memahami kreativitas karya arsitek dapat dilakukan melalui Intangible (tak berwujud) dan Tangible(nyata). SISTEM SUBGROUND PASSIVE COOLING PADA GEREJA DI CIBUNUT, KUNINGAN, JAWA BARAT
Abstract: Subground passive cooling is a passive cooling technique that is carried out by flowing cold air in the ground into the room. The Pasio Christi Church in Cibunut, Kuningan, West Java was founded in 1965. Then the church implemented a passive cooling subground system through renovations carried out on May 11, 2018. This passive cooling system is usually carried out in areas with subtropical to cold climates, however Cibunut who has a tropical climate tries to implement this system. In fact, there is concern if the system is implemented in the tropics, such as humidity entering the system, causing fungal problems that can have an impact on health. . Therefore this research describes the application of the subground passive cooling system in tropical climates with the following steps: (i) data collection in the form of literature studies, (ii) identification of the subground passive cooling system of Cibunut Church, (iii) elaboration of theory regarding subground passive cooling, (iv) analysis of the application of subground passive cooling of the Cibunut church with the results of theoretical elaboration. This research is expected to be able to contribute in science, especially regarding the application of subground passive cooling systems in tropical climates.Abstrak: Subground passive cooling merupakan teknik pendinginan pasif yang dilakukan dengan mengalirkan udara dingin dalam tanah ke dalam ruangan. Gereja Pasio Christi di Cibunut, Kuningan, Jawa Barat didirikan sejak 1965. Lalu gereja ini menerapkan sistem subground passive cooling melalui renovasi yang dilakukan pada 11 Mei 2018. Sistem pendinginan pasif ini biasanya dilakukan pada wilayah dengan iklim subtropis hingga iklim dingin, namun demikian Cibunut yang beriklim tropis mencoba untuk menerapkan sistem ini. Padahal ada kekawatiran jika sistem ini diterapkan di wilayah tropis, seperti kelembaban yang masuk dalam sistem sehingga muncul permasalahan jamur yang dapat berdampak pada kesehatan. Oleh karena itu pada penelitian ini mendiskripsikan mengenai penerapan sistem subground passive cooling pada wilayah beriklim tropis dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut : (i) pengumpulan data dalam bentuk studi literatur, (ii) identifikasi sistem subground passive cooling Gereja Cibunut, (iii) elaborasi teori mengenai subground passive cooling, (iv) analisis penerapan subground passive cooling gereja Cibunut dengan hasil elaborasi teori. Dari penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan sumbangsih dalam keilmuan terutama mengenai penerapan sistem subground passive cooling pada wilayah beriklim tropis
KOMUNIKASI ANTARPRIBADI PARA DISABILITAS DALAM PROSES PEMENTASAN TEATER DI SMILE MOTIVATOR BANDUNG
Abstract: This research is motivated by public acceptance of the presence of persons with disabilities who are still not good, even though people with disabilities are capable and have abilities that are almost equal to the general public and have a strong artistic spirit and very potential if explored further. Persons with disabilities at Smile Motivator are given teaching and training in performing arts, both dance, painting and theater performances. Interpersonal communication is certainly very important in the process of training for a performance. This will become more difficult because what is faced is people with special needs. This type of research is a qualitative-descriptive research using interview, observation and documentation data collection methods. After the data is collected, the data is reduced, then the data is displayed and made a conclusion. The first objective of this research is to find out the interpersonal communication languages agreed upon by persons with disabilities in Smile Motivators and the second objective to find out the interpersonal communication of persons with disabilities formed backstage during training. The results showed that interpersonal communication of persons with disabilities at Smile Motivator Bandung has a type of verbal and non verbal communication. Not all persons with disabilities understand nonverbal, therefore the approach taken is an approach from the heart, honesty and sincerity in order to arrive at a quality of life that gives meaning to life for others. Theater performances certainly provide tremendous motivation and inspiration because the disabilities present with high enthusiasm and dedication to the audience. But in overcoming conflicts, Smile Motivator does not yet have specific techniques, still relying on feelings, because the disabilities are very sensitive to the emotional condition of themselves and the people around them.Keywords: Interpersonal Communication, Disability, PerformanceAbstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penerimaan masyarakat terhadap hadirnya para penyandang disabilitas yang masih kurang baik, padahal para penyandang disabilitaspun mampu dan memiliki kemampuan yang hampir setara masyarakat pada umumnya serta mempunyai jiwa seni yang kuat serta sangat potensial jika dieksplorasi lebih jauh. Penyandang disabilitas di Smile Motivator diberikan pengajaran dan pelatihan mengenai pertunjukan seni, baik tari, lukis maupun pentas teater. Komunikasi antarpribadi tentu sangat penting dalam proses pelatihan untuk sebuah pementasan hal ini akan menjadi lebih sulit karena yang dihadapi adalah orang-orang yang berkebutuhan khusus. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Setelah data terkumpul, maka dilakukan reduksi data, kemudian data tersebut di display dan dijadikan sebuah kesimpulan. Tujuan penelitian dalam ini yang pertama adalah untuk mengetahui bahasa-bahasa komunikasi antarpribadi yang disepakati penyandang disabilitas di Smile Motivator dan tujuan yang kedua untuk mengetahui komunikasi antarpribadi penyandang disabilitas yang dibentuk di belakang panggung ketika latihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa komunikasi antarpribadi para disabilitas di Smile Motivator Bandung ini memiliki jenis komunikasi verbal dan non verbal. Tidak semua penyandang disabilitas tersebut memahami nonverbal, maka dari itu pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah pendekatan dari hati, kejujuran dan ketulusan agar sampai pada kualitas hidup yang memberi makna hidup untuk orang lain. Pementasan teater tentu sangat memberika motivasi dan inspirasi luar biasa karena para disabilitas itu menampilkan dengan semangat dan penuh dedikasi yang tinggi untuk penontonnya. Tetapi dalam mengatasi konflik, di Smile Motivator belum memiliki teknik-teknik yang khusus, masih mengandalkan perasaan, karena para disabilitas tersebut sangat peka terhadap kondisi emosional dirinya dan orang-orang sekitar.Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Antarpribadi, Disabilitas, Pementasa
SISTEM PAKAR MENDIAGNOSA PENYAKIT CAMPAK DAN RUBELLA DENGAN METODE FORWARD CHAINING BERBASIS WEB
Abstract:The development of technology is growing rapidly, one of which is to facilitate human activities by continuing to create new things such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) Systems that can help solve problems easily from the help of computers. The problem that will be discussed in this study is "The expert system for diagnosing measles and rubella using the web-based forward chaining method" is one part of AI, namely Expert System with the intend that users can know how much percentage of the disease they feel it.The research method used in this case refers to the journal "Pemanfaatan Sistem Inferensi Fuzzy pada Aplikasi Pendiagnosis Penyakit Kulit pada Anak" which is only to determine the value weight of symptoms of Measles and German Measles (Rubella) and for prevention or solutions that have been used briefly which comes from the source of articles on measles and rubella from alodokter.com and has been reviewed by Dr. Marianti. For research methods of system analysis using forward chaining method is useful for the running of symptom selection along with the weight of the values that have been determinedAt this conclusion the case discussed is useful for users who feel symptoms of Measles and Rubella and how to prevent it by using a website-based application. It should be noted that the discussion in this case is not to be the main reference in diagnosing measles and rubella and is not recommended to users who have measles and rubella with conditions that must be handled in an emergency.          Keywords : Expert system, Measles and German Measles (Rubella), forward chainingAbstrak: Perkembangan teknologi bertumbuh dengan cepat salah satu nya untuk mempermudah kegiatan manusia dengan terus menciptakan hal yang baru seperti Artificial Intelligence (AI) Sistem yang dapat membantu dalam menyelesaikan masalah dengan mudah dari bantuan komputer. Pada masalah yang akan di bahas pada penelitian kali ini adalah “Sistem pakar mendiagnosa penyakit campak dan rubella dengan metode forward chaining berbasis web†salah satu bagian dari AI yaitu Sistem Pakar dengan tujuan supaya pengguna dapat mengetahui seberapa peresentase penyakit yang dialami pengguna.Metode penelitian yang di gunakan pada kasus ini mengacu pada jurnal “Pemanfaatan Sistem Inferensi Fuzzy pada Aplikasi Pendiagnosis Penyakit Kulit pada Anak†yang hanya untuk mengetahui bobot nilai dari gejala Campak dan Campak jerman (Rubella) dan untuk pencegahan atau solusi yang di gunakan sudah di ringkas yang berasal dari sumber artikel campak dan rubella dari alodokter.com dan sudah ditinjau oleh dr. Marianti. Untuk metode penelitian pada analisis sistem menggunakan metode Forward Chaining berguna untuk berjalannya pemilihan gejala beserta bobot nilai yang sudah di tentukanPada kesimpulan kali ini kasus yang di bahas berguna bagi pengguna yang mengalami gejala pada penyakit Campak dan Rubella dan cara pencegahan nya dengan menggunakan aplikasi berbasiskan website. Perlu di ketahui pembahasan pada kasus ini tidak untuk menjadi acuan utama dalam mendiagnosa penyakit campak dan rubella dan tidak di anjurkan kepada pengguna yang mempunyai penyakit Campak dan Rubella dengan kondisi-kondisi yang harus di tangani secara darurat.Katakunci : Sistem Pakar, Campak dan Rubella, forward chainin

The city of Bandung has a special attraction for migrants from other regions to carry out various activities. This is because the city of Bandung was made as a center for education, tourism and culture, a trade center, and also as a center of government in West Java Province. The need for economic improvement in an urban area that was originally not developed and is now developing indirectly there are changes in land use or land use in various ways including by changing the function of the original home to a shop house and even turning into a shop or land commercial. ANALISIS ENERGI PADA BERBAGAI MATERIAL DINDING (BATA, BATAKO DAN BATA RINGAN)
In building design, the selection of building materials is one aspect that needs to be considered. Building materials are components that require energy in the manufacturing process. In the process of building material production, the use of energy at each stage becomes one of the parameters of CO2 carbon emission levels. The higher the use of fossil energy, the higher the CO2 emissions and the risk of causing global warming. Bricks, concrete blocks, and lightweight bricks are the types of materials commonly used to make building walls. The selection of wall materials is still largely related to price or aesthetic considerations, but the assessment of the level of environmental friendliness is still lacking in attention. This study tries to analyse the life cycle of energy in wall materials (bricks, concrete blocks and lightweight bricks). From the research results obtained, concrete block is the lowest material in the use of production energy
ESTETIKA EKSPRESI STRUKTUR DI TERMINAL PENUMPANG KAPAL LAUT
Structures in architecture acts as a load-bearing element on mechanical systems. In addition, structures can also provide spatial and aesthetic expressions in architectural with the use of certain techniques and materials that bring out the structure expression. The problem discuss in this paper relates to aesthetic parameters used to examine the structural expression on architectural. The research method used is descriptive analytical method conducted with study of the literature on aesthetics, based on parameters: visual complexity, texture and colour, symmetry of the form and familiarity using the case study of Ship Passenger Terminal building such as Qingdao Cruise Passanger Terminal, Kai Tak Cruise Terminal and Salerno Maritime Terminal.The result shows that visual complexity parameter were exposure the form of curved structures and folding structures, the use of lattice, single-mass, and different building imagery. The texture and colour parameter are subtle textures with curved patterns, use of aluminium or concrete materials,and ivory white to bring out the buildings with the color of the sea.The symmetry of the form parameter shows a natural scale, a rectangular geometric shape that is subjected to addition or subtraction, and the proportion 2:1 between the envelope and open façade. The familiarity parameter is repetition of asymmetric curved patterns form make rhythm that raises perception of the visual aesthetic of the building
PEMANFAATAN JALUR PEDESTRIAN PADA AREA MIXED-USE DI JL. MT HARYONO (KORIDOR PETERONGAN-PEREMPATAN BANGKONG)
Abstract: This research is based on a new design on the pedestrian ways on MT. Haryono Street corridor of the Peterongan-Bangkong intersection, because the Semarang City Government made several changes to the pedestrian lane design in several locations, one of which was on MT. Haryono Street. Through this new pedestrian ways design, researchers will associate with mixed areas or mixed-use areas in the corridor that will be examined based on factors and indicators of the mixed area and pedestrian ways design. The purpose of this study is to determine the utilization of pedestrian ways in the mixed-use area which gets the highest priority based on pedestrian path users. Field data and interview results on pedestrian path users obtained were then analyzed using a qualitative deductive method combined with quantitative through sampling with purposive sampling. And it was concluded that the highest utilization of the new design of pedestrian ways in the MT Haryono Street is a function and activity.Keyword: Pedestrian ways’ utilization, mixed-use area, MT. Haryono koridor Peterongan-Perempatan Bangkong, karena Pemerintah Kota Semarang melakukan beberapa perubahan terhadap desain jalur pedestrian di beberapa lokasi, salah satunya di Jalan MT. Haryono. Melalui desain jalur pedestrian yang baru ini, peneliti akan mengkaitkan dengan area campuran atau mixed-use area pada koridor tersebut yang akan diteliti berdasarkan faktor-faktor dan indikator area campuran dan desain jalur pedestrian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pemanfaatan jalur pedestrian pada area mixed-use manakah yang mendapat prioritas paling besar berdasarkan pengguna jalur pedestrian. Data lapangan dan hasil wawancara pada pengguna jalur pedestrian yang didapat kemudian dianalisa menggunakan metode deduktif kualitatif yang dikombinasikan dengan kuantitatif melalui pengambilan sample dengan purposive sampling. Dan didapatkan kesimpulan pemanfaatan paling tinggi dari desain baru jalur pedestrian Jalan MT. PENATAAN PASAR TRADISIONAL, PUSAT PERBELANJAAN DAN TOKO MODERN STUDI KASUS KECAMATAN ROWOSARI KABUPATEN KENDAL
Seeing the very important role of traditional markets for the community, it is necessary to examine several things that can affect the smoothness or success in increasing people's income. Therefore, to improve and maintain the role of traditional markets, there needs to be involvement or coordination with agencies to support the welfare and success of traditional market traders. So, in this study, the location was taken by considering the welfare of the traditional market in Rowosari Village. There is a traditional market that has been around for a long time and is managed by the village government. Descriptive method is used in this research which explains the situation in Rowosari Traditional Market. From the results of the study, Rowosari Traditional market plays a role in increasing the income of the community who generally come from the Rowosari region and surrounding areas.Â
EVALUASI KONSEP RAMAH PEJALAN KAKI PADA PEDESTRIAN MALIOBORO DENGAN PENDEKATAN KONSEP WALKABILITY
Abstract: Malioboro Pedestrian is located in the tourist area of Malioboro, which has been arranged by the Yogyakarta Regional Government. The arrangement carried out applies the concept of the Cultural Terrace which basically has the purpose of creating a tourist area of Malioboro that is visitor-friendly, including pedestrians. Many facilities are provided for pedestrians to support this concept, for example the provision of benches, special diffable lanes and other facilities. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the pedestrian-friendly concept applied to the Malioboro pedestrian with the walkability concept approach. The method used in this study uses descriptive qualitative method, which is direct observation to the study location to find out, understand and directly identify the actual conditions that exist in Malioboro pedestrian. In addition to knowing the comfort level of actual conditions, the concept of walkability is used as a comparison concept. The results of this study indicate that the arrangement of the Malioboro pedestrian carried out by the government has met the criteria of pedestrian friendliness in accordance with the concept of walkability, namely accessibility, aesthetics, safety and security criteria and comfort aspects. Although structuring has met the criteria, the existing facilities have not been used and utilized properly by Malioboro pedestrian users, so that there are some negative impacts that cause discomfort, such as waste problems and mastery of pedestrian space for other activities that are not in accordance with pedestrian functions.Keyword: Malioboro, Malioboro pedestrian, pedestrian friendly, cultural terrace, the concept of walkabilityAbstrak: Pedestrian Malioboro berada pada kawasan wisata Malioboro yang telah ditata oleh Pemerintah Derah Istimewah Yogyakarta. Penataan yang dilakukan menerapkan konsep Teras Budaya yang pada dasarnya memiliki tujuan untuk menciptakan kawasan wisata Malioboro yang ramah pengunjung, termasuk pejalan kaki. Banyak fasilitas yang disediakan pada pedestrian untuk mendukung konsep ini, misalnya pengadaan bangku, jalur khusus difabel dan fasilitas lainnya. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi konsep ramah pejalan kaki yang diterapkan pada pedestrian Malioboro dengan pendekatan konsep walkability. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif yakni melakukan observasi langsung ke lokasi studi untuk mengetahui, memahami serta mengidentifikasi secara langsung kondisi aktual yang ada pada pedestrian Malioboro.Selain itu untuk mengetahui tingkat kenyamanan kondisi aktual maka digunakan konsep walkability sebagai konsep pembanding. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penataan pedestrian Malioboro yang dilakukan pemerintah telah memenuhi kriteria ramah bagi pejalan kaki sesuai konsep walkability, yakni kriteria aksesibilitas, estetika, keselamatan dan keamanan serta aspek kenyamanan. Meskipun secara penataan telah memenuhi kriteria, fasilitas yang ada belum digunakan dan dimanfaatkan dengan baik oleh pengguna pedestrian Malioboro, sehingga muncul beberapa dampak negatif yang menimbulkan ketidaknyamanan, misalnya masalah sampah dan penguasaan ruang pejalan kaki untuk aktivitas lainnya yang tidak sesuai dengan fungsi pedestrian.Kata Kunci: Malioboro, pedestrian Malioboro, ramah pejalan kaki, teras budaya, konsep walkabilit
