PAPUA TRADITIONAL ARCHITECTURAL IDENTITY
Abstract: Papua as the largest island in Indonesia has a variety of traditional houses that have the characteristics of describing the local identity and uniqueness. This study uses a literature study method and aims to examine how to interpret traditional Papuan architectural works. Theoretically the result of this research finds that the identity of traditional Papuan architecture is seen from the traditional house as an architectural work in terms of firmitas, utilities, and Venustas. The similarity of shapes in various traditional Papuan houses is found on the roof in the form of a sloping roof with various shapes. There are elements of 'tradition' and 'environmental adaptation' in the architecture of traditional Papuan houses, emphasizing special meanings according to local culture.Keyword: identity, traditional architecture, traditional house, PapuaAbstrak: Papua sebagai pulau terbesar di Indonesia memiliki ragam rumah tradisional yang memiliki ciri khas menggambarkan identitas dan kekhasan lokal setempat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan dan bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara teoritis bagaimana memaknai karya arsitektur tradisional Papua. Hasil dari penelitian ini secara teoritikal bahwa identitas arsitektur tradisional Papua dilihat dari rumah tradisional sebagai karya arsitektur dari sisi firmitas, utilitas, dan venustas. Kesamaan bentuk pada ragam rumah tradisonal Papua terdapat pada bagian atap berupa atap miring dengan bentuk beragam. ANALISIS DESAIN UNIVERSAL PADA KORIDOR JALAN DI KOTA BANDUNG (STUDI KASUS: KORIDOR JALAN RIAU DAN DAGO)
Abstract: Riau Street and Dago Street, located in the center of Bandung, are areas with heavy and busy traffic. Having mixed land use dominated by commercial activities allows activities to be carried out by all users. Universal design is an idea that can fulfill the rights of equality of users in urban spaces including pedestrian paths. This research aims to analyze universal design in the corridors of Riau Street and Dago Street and then compare between them. The analysis method used is descriptive qualitative method. The results of the analysis obtained that Dago Street has results that are more in accordance with universal design principles compared to Riau Street. Desain universal merupakan gagasan yang dapat memenuhi hak-hak kesetaraan pengguna di ruang kota termasuk jalur pedestrian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis desain universal pada koridor Jalan Riau dan Jalan Dago dan kemudian membandingkan di antara keduanya. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif berbasis deskriptif. Hasil analisis yang didapatkan bahwa Jalan Dago memiliki hasil yang lebih sesuai dengan prinsip desain universal dibandingkan dengan Jalan Riau.Kata Kunci: Desain Universal, Pejalan Kaki, Koridor Jala
IMPLEMENTATION IOT APPLICATIONS FOR ELECTRICITY LOAD MONITORING AND CONTROL
Human activities are strongly dependent on the use of electricity, making it a daily requirement. The basic electricity rate is currently rising, making electricity conservation necessary. In order to solve this problem, a centralized power load monitoring and control system that can be handled remotely utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) technologies is suggested in this study. The research project involves creating and putting into use a prototype system. An Intel Core i3 laptop, 4 GB of RAM, Windows 7 64-bit, the Arduino IDE program, and a Tools Set were the tools used in the study. A Microcontroller NodeMCU E12 WiFi, Relay Driver, LED indication, and PIR Sensor made up the components employed. The research method was broken down into eight stages, including a review of the literature, the formulation of a problem and an objective, the collecting of data, the design and use of media, the implementation of the results, the drawing of conclusions, and the preparation of a report. The functionality of each system component was tested, and the overall system performance was assessed, in order to examine the research findings. The results show that input, process, and output are the three essential components of the IoT application architecture for monitoring and regulating electrical loads in rooms. Four PIR sensors in the input area indicate the presence of people in the space. Â A microcontroller integrated with the NodeMCU 12E WiFi device is used in the process step. LED indicator lights in the output portion show the amount of load present in the space. Hardware and software components make up the implementation of the IoT application for tracking and managing electrical loads in rooms. The NodeMCU 12E microcontroller and a PIR sensor make up the hardware component, while Cayenne, an IoT service, and the Arduino IDE serve as the software components. The IoT application has overall performed well and according to design in monitoring and regulating the room's electrical demands
Digital Innovation Design of Tourism Destination Marketing Website Using Design Thinking Method
This study aims to design a marketing website for special interest tourism destinations in North Banjar Resident. The method used is design thinking. The design thinking method has five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. At the empathize stage, the needs of system users are classified based on the characteristics of the user as a host or guest. In the define stage, the problem statement technique is used to define the problems and needs of users into four parts: lack of awareness and exposure, limited digital infrastructure, the limited availability of tourism-related infrastructure, and the lack of tourism-related data. At the ideation stage, the main problem identified related to the marketing of special interest tourist destinations is the lack of tourism-related data, so the idea to solve the problem is through the design of a website that accommodates all information about destinations and events, hotel accommodation services, resorts and cottages, vehicle rental services, and travel experiences to North Banjar which are shared in the form of articles to short videos. At the prototype stage, the database and interface design are designed according to the analysis results at the empathize, define, and ideate stages. Furthermore, at the testing stage, aspirations about prototypes are carried out through posters and short videos to gain insight into the subsequent development. Thus, marketing special interest tourist destinations becomes more effective and efficient using a website-based digital platform
Pengaruh Penggunaan Jenis Pahat Bubut HSS dan Karbida terhadap Kekasaran Permukaan Hasil Pembubutan Material Alumunium, Teflon dan Baja ST37
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbandingan kecepatan dan hasil pemotongan benda kerja berbahan alumunium, Teflon, dan baja ST-37 dengan menggunakan pisau pahat jenis HSS (High Speed Steel) dan karbida. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pembubutan benda kerja di Laboratorium Jurusan Teknik Mesin Universitas Kebangsaan Republik Indonesia (UKRI). Kecepatan putar mesin bubut yang digunakan adalah 488 rpm untuk pisau pahat HSS dan 1170 rpm untuk pisau pahat karbida. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pisau frais jenis karbida dapat menghasilkan benda potong baja menjadi lebih kasar atau tampak normal seperti semula
Perancangan Sistem Peringatan Dini Banjir Menggunakan Mikrokontroler Berbasis Android (Studi Kasus di Cianjur)
Banjir sering terjadi di Indonesia. Terlebih khusus pada daerah jawa barat yang mempunyai luas wilayah 35.377.76 km2 yang memiliki 27 kabupaten/kota yang meliputi 18 kabupaten, 9 kota, 627 kecamatan, dan 2.957 desa. Di jawa barat khusnya wilayah kabupaten cianjur yang mempunyai potensi bahaya banjir sekitar 16.903(Ha) perkiraan jiwa terpapar 215.010, dan potensi kerugian material sekitar Rp 882.592 Milyar.
Untuk membantu dalam segi monitoring peringatan dini banjir menggunakan Mikrokontroler, yang mana untuk mengetahui ketinggian air mealui sensor Ultrasonik HC-SR04 lalu diproses oleh Mikrokontroler LGT8F328P. hasil pengukuran ketinggian dikirimkan kepada aplikasi melalui komunikasi data dengan perangkat Bluetooth HM-10 yang saling terhubung satu sama lain. Yang mana didalam aplikasi nya menampilkan data ketinggian air secara realtime.
Hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan dapat melakukan monitoring ketinggian air yang berpotensi mengakibatkan banjir melaluli aplikasi android yang mendapatkan data dari sensor Ultrasonik. Yang mana dengan menggunakan sensor Bluetooth HM-10 sebagai media komunikasi data pengirim sinyal dengan jangkauan 5 – 10 meter dari lokasi pintu air cukup dibilang optimal, dan dengan tingkat akurasi dalam pengukuran ketinggian air dengan sensor ultrasonic HC-SR04 sebesar 98% itu sudah cukup bagus. Didalam aplikasi ini terdapat 4 status level ketinggian banjir yaitu Aman, Waspada, Kritis, Bencana.Banjir merupakan salah satu bencana yang sering terjadi di Indonesia. PENGGUNAAN INSTAGRAM SEBAGAI STRATEGI KOMUNIKASI PEMASARAN TOKO BUKET SBUKET.ID
Selling bouquets using Instagram uses the 4P Marketing Mix concept, namely Promotion, Product, Price, & Place, to be interesting. For this reason, the research aims to find out the promotion strategy of Sbucket.id stores in marketing products to attract consumers' interest in buying via Instagram, and how sellers communicate selling prices to consumers, as well as strategic location which is a determining factor in consumer purchases. This research was located at the Sbucket.id Store in Lubuklinggau City, South Sumatra. The research method used is a qualitative research method. The informants in the research consisted of six people, namely the owner or owner of the Sbucket.id shop, the admin of Sbucket.id and also four consumers or buyers who had bought a bouquet at the Sbucket.id shop using data collection techniques through semi-structured interviews, observation non-participants and also documentation. From the research results, it can be seen that in order to attract consumers' interest in buying a bouquet at the Sbucket.id shop, they promote the product via Instagram social media, initially they use Endorsement services, then they always promote the product via Instagram Stories, and also upload photos of the bouquet on the Instagram feed. by adding a caption. Consumers can request a bouquet according to their wishes, so before purchasing it needs to be communicated first to the sbucket.id admin. POTENSI PENYEBARAN AIR LINDI HASIL TPA PADA KUALITAS AIR TANAH SEKITAR
Environmental pollution can occur because leachate from waste disposal has many parameters that can harm the environment at high or large concentrations. It seems that the Ketapang TPA is not perfect in terms of leachate and waste management where this TPA still does not have a leachate tank or tub. This study aims to determine the potential for leachate release into the surrounding environment by considering the quality of leachate from the Ketapang landfill and the quality of groundwater around the Ketapang landfill which is located in Sampeng Regency. This study also aims to determine the health status of residents who use groundwater by sending questionnaires to several residents who routinely use groundwater for their daily activities. The method for determining groundwater intake points is by purposive sampling method. Furthermore, a correlation analysis of groundwater quality around the TPA was carried out with the distance of the groundwater sample to the TPA location. The results showed that leachate at Ketapang TPA contained COD parameters of 2692 mg/L, pH 9.7, Cadmium which was <0.0204 mg/L, TSS 780 mg/L, and Total N 254.4 mg/L. Then the groundwater around the Ketapang TPA contains COD, Total N, and Cadmium parameters which exceed the quality standards
DESIGN OF A PROTOTYPE OF PAPER MONEY DETECTOR FOR THE VIEW
To access resources and information, use the library. The issue is that some libraries do not yet have a web-based online system for locating learning resources. Due to their inability to recognize and see money, blind persons are more likely to swap, misappropriate, or even defraud money during buying and selling operations. Designing a "Prototype of Banknote Nominal Detector for Blind People" and creating a "Prototype of Information System Data Presentation of Banknote Detector for Blind People" are the main goals of this study. This system's design adheres to the agile software development process. The rupiah money can be identified by the prototype of the nominal banknote detector based on the nominal entered; the accuracy value is 93% for banknotes in neat conditions, 87% in wrinkled conditions, 71% in wet conditions, and 53% in faded color conditions. And the development of a data presentation system in the form of a dashboard can help admins in managing data from testing activities more easily, and so that data can be stored more systematically
A Scrum-Driven Software Development of IoT-Integrated Smart Trash Solution with UV-C Sterilization and Blackbox Testing
Tantangan serius dalam pengelolaan sampah di Indonesia telah memberikan dampak serius terhadap kesehatan dan lingkungan. Penumpukan berlebihan dari sampah telah menyebabkan masalah baru, termasuk penurunan kualitas lingkungan dan penyebaran penyakit.Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mengatasi masalah ini. Metodologi Scrum digunakan dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak, dengan penekanan pada pengujian blackbox dan analisis nilai batas (Boundary Value Analysis/BVA). Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan permasalahan dalam pengelolaan sampah, termasuk penumpukan berlebihan dan pertumbuhan bakteri di tempat sampah.Solusi diusulkan melalui sistem "Smart Trash" berbasis IoT dan Android, yang menggabungkan sensor berat dan ketinggian sampah, teknologi Lampu UVC, serta pengiriman notifikasi ke perangkat Android. Prototype alat ini diuji untuk mengoptimalkan pemantauan dan pengelolaan sampah.Temuan penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sistem tempat sampah pintar ini memfasilitasi pemantauan dan notifikasi bagi petugas kebersihan, serta membantu meminimalkan pertumbuhan bakteri pada sampah. Dengan adanya sistem ini, petugas dapat mengelola pengangkutan sampah lebih efisien. Namun, alat ini memiliki potensi untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut, seperti deteksi bakteri pada sampah
