    VIDEO GAME SEBAGAI REPRESENTASI ARSITEKTUR DAN PERSILANGANNYA DENGAN SEJARAH DALAM SERI ASSASSIN’S CREED

    Abstract: Throughout its history, abstract ideas in architecture are conveyed through representational media such as writing and drawings. Video games are among the newest medium of representation with their own unique advantage: games necessitate active participation in a virtual space that has become increasingly realistic thanks to technological advancements. This short paper aims to explore how games can be situated with other forms of architectural representation by discussing historical shifts that predated it. This paper also aims to show one of video game’s strength in representing architecture by using Assassin's Creed game series as an example case. The series shows how careful craft and detailed research on historical details within the game can create engaging and immersive architectural experience with educational value. This immersivity however is also limited by gameplay constrains and require extensive resource investment. The author hopes that this exploration could be useful stepping stone in Indonesia to expand new studies of architectural representation and exploration of more engaging learning tools.Keyword: game, architectural representation, historical setting, educational mediaAbstrak: Sepanjang sejarah, ide abstrak arsitektur disampaikan melalui sejumlah media representasional seperti tulisan dan gambar. Tulisan singkat ini bertujuan untuk menempatkan game sebagai representasi arsitektur dengan mengulas pergeseran media representasi yang telah terjadi di masa-masa sebelumnya. Tulisan ini juga bertujuan untuk menunjukkan salah satu kekuatan media game dalam merepresentasikan arsitektur dengan menggunakan sebuah seri game berjudul Assassin’s Creed sebagai contoh kasus. Game tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kriya telaten dan riset mendalam akan detail sejarah dalam game dapat menghasilan pengalaman arsitektural yang menarik, dan imersif dengan nilai edukatif. Namun begitu imersivitas ini juga dibatasi oleh kekangan gameplay dan membutuhkan sumber daya yang tidak sedikit. Penulis berharap eksplorasi ini dapat menjadi landasan di Indonesia untuk memperluas kajian media representasi arsitektur sekaligus eksplorasi alat pengajaran yang menarik.Kata Kunci: game, representasi arsitektur, setting sejarah, media pembelajara

    KAJIAN PENERAPAN KONSEP PASSIVE COOLING PADA BANGUNAN HOTEL ARJUNA BATU

    Abstract: The tourism sector plays a vital role in regional economic growth, with accommodation, particularly hotels, acting as a key element in attracting and accommodating visitors. In popular destinations like Kota Batu, East Java, high demand for hotel rooms often leads to limited availability. This emphasizes the need for hotel development to prioritize sustainability, including energy efficiency, to mitigate the impact of global warming. This research focuses on the importance of implementing passive cooling in hotel design as a key strategy for achieving this goal. Kota Batu, with its generally cool temperatures, presents an ideal opportunity to utilize natural resources effectively and minimize reliance on excessive energy consumption. This study employs qualitative research methods, drawing insights from relevant journals to gain a comprehensive understanding of the area and the specific hotel buildings being analyzed. The aim is to provide recommendations for the most suitable design types for implementing passive cooling in Kota Batu's hotels. This would not only ensure the comfort and satisfaction of tourists but also contribute to environmental sustainability and support long-term economic growth in the region.Keyword: Batu, Hotel, Passive Cooling Abstrak: Sektor pariwisata memegang peran penting dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu daerah, dengan penginapan, khususnya hotel, menjadi elemen kunci dalam menarik wisatawan. Tingginya permintaan kamar hotel, terutama di destinasi populer seperti Kota Batu, Jawa Timur, seringkali mengakibatkan ketersediaan kamar yang terbatas. Oleh karena itu, pembangunan hotel harus memperhatikan keberlanjutan, termasuk efisiensi energi untuk mengurangi dampak pemanasan global. Pentingnya penerapan pendinginan pasif dalam desain hotel menjadi fokus penelitian. Kota Batu, dengan suhu yang cenderung sejuk, memiliki potensi untuk memanfaatkan sumber daya alam secara optimal tanpa bergantung pada energi berlebih. Melalui metode penelitian kualitatif, penelitian ini mengacu pada jurnal-jurnal terkait untuk mendapatkan pemahaman mendalam tentang daerah dan objek penelitian. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan panduan mengenai jenis desain yang paling sesuai untuk menerapkan pendinginan pasif dalam bangunan hotel di Kota Batu, sehingga tidak hanya memenuhi kebutuhan wisatawan, tetapi juga mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan dan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan.Kata Kunci: Batu, Hotel, Pendinginan Pasi

    ANALISA PENERAPAN KONSEP UNIVERSAL DESAIN PADA BANGUNAN PELAYANAN PUBLIK Studi Kasus : Gedung Kantor Pemerintahan DUKCAPIL Bandar Lampung

    Abstract: Government offices are state-owned buildings that serve the purpose of official duties and providing public services or services related to various agencies. However, many government offices, which are public service providers, do not sufficiently support public service accessibility for people with disabilities. Therefore, it is essential to conduct a study on the implementation of the Universal Design concept for people with disabilities in various cities in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to understand how the spatial configuration within public service buildings, particularly the universal design for people with disabilities, is applied at the Civil Registration Office (DUKCAPIL) in Bandar Lampung. The research methodology used is a qualitative approach, where the identification of universal design is chosen within the DUKCAPIL building area in Bandar Lampung. The analysis extends to redesigning based on literature studies in accordance with the standards of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing. The conclusion drawn from the case study is that applying the universal design concept to public service buildings is feasible.Keyword: Government Office, Universal Design, Accessibility, Public Service, Re-DesignAbstrak:  Kantor Pemerintahan merupakan gedung milik negara yang memiliki fungsi untuk keperluan dinas dan kantor pelayanan masyarakat atau instansi terkait. Namun, masih banyak Kantor Pemerintahan sebagai pelayanan publik yang diberikan oleh pemerintah tidak mendukung aksesibilitas pelayanan publik bagi penyandang disabilitas. Oleh karena itu, penting dilakukan kajian tentang penerapan konsep Universal Desain untuk penyandang disabilitas di berbagai kota di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan memahami bagaimana konfigurasi ruang dalam bangunan pelayanan publik khususnya universal desain penyandang disabilitas pada Kantor Pemerintahan DUKCAPIL Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan jenis pendekatan metodologi kualitatif dimana identifikasi universal design dipilih di area Gedung DUKCAPIL Bandar Lampung serta menganalisis hingga melakukan perancangan kembali dengan data kajian literatur sesuai standar Kementerian PUPR. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan, studi kasus menerapkan konsep universal desain dan disimpulkan bahwa konsep universal bisa diterapkan pada bangunan pelayanan publik.Kata Kunci: Kantor Pemerintah, Universal Design, Aksesibilitas, Pelayanan Publik, Re-Desi

    ANALISIS PENERAPAN KONSEP “CRIME PREVENTION THROUGH ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN†PADA DESAIN SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS DI BANDUNG

    Abstract: Schools are educational institutions that provide science learning services for their students. However, behind the main function of the school, which is a place to study, it turns out to be a scene of violence and bullying. The background of the occurrence of bullying is very diverse and depends on the environment itself. We need to see that the role of the school environment as a crime scene is dysfunctional so that it can facilitate criminals. This study aims to design an educational institution area by applying the principle of Crime Prevention Through Environment Design (CPTED) as a way of preventing violence in the school environment. From this research was concluded that 2-4 aspects (12,5-25%) from 12 aspects of CPTED was not fulfilled as criteria of the save and comfortable school. This research was a qualitative research which evaluate 8 sample of Senior High School in Bandung and then propoused a recommended school which applied CPTED concept. CPTED concept is should be applied allover of this aspect comprehensively: (1). Natural access control, (2). Natural surveillance, (3). Territoriality, (4). Physical Protection, (5). Activity support, and (6). Maintenance.Key Word: School, CPTED concept, Quality of School.Abstrak: Sekolah adalah institusi pendidikan yang berfungsi menyediakan layanan pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan untuk peserta didiknya. Namun, dibalik fungsi utama sekolah yaitu tempat menuntut ilmu, ternyata sering menjadi sebuah tempat kejadian tindak kekerasan dan juga bullying. Latar belakang terjadinya tindakan bullying sangat beragam dan bergantung pada lingkungan itu sendiri. Perlu kita lihat bahwa peran lingkungan sekolah sebagai tempat kejadian perkara mengalami disfungsi sehingga bisa memfasilitasi pelaku kejahatan. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk membuat desain kawasan institusi pendidikan dengan menerapkan prinsip Crime Prevention Through Environment Design (CPTED) sebagai salah satu cara tindakan pencegahan kekerasan di lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memecahkan rantai kekerasan dan kasus bullying di lingkungan pendidikan. Dari hasil penelitian terhadap 8 sekolah menengah atas sederajat didapatkan bahwa 2-4 aspek (12,5-25%) dari 12 aspek CPTED belum terpenuhi untuk kriteria sekolah yang aman terhadap potensi tindak kekerasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang menilai sejumlah Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Kota Bandung dan kemudian merumuskan rekomendasi usulan contoh desain sekolah yang menerapkan desain CPTED. Konsep CPTED pada intinya harus memenuhi kriteria (1). Aksesibilitas, (2). Pengawasan, (3). Kepemilikan dan (4). Proteksi Fisik, (5).     THERMAL PERFORMANCE: INFLUENCE OF MATERIAL AND INCLINATION ANGLE ON VAULTED ROOFS IN TROPICAL CLIMATE

    Abstract: Rapid urbanization demands significant growth in basic infrastructure, particularly in affordable housing. Concurrently, the escalating development necessitates an increased demand for energy. Among the strategies to mitigate high energy consumption is the optimization of building envelopes, such as roofs which experience the highest solar gain in tropical regions. This research aims to identify the effect of inclination angle and material of roof on thermal performance in tropical climate. Five configurations of roof inclination angles with various materials, facing both North-South and East-West orientations, were analyzed using Ladybug and Honeybee Tools. The results revealed that roof inclination angle, material significantly affect the average conduction. In a sequential order, the roofing materials with the lowest average conductivity values are concrete tiles, clay tiles, PVC roofs, and metal roofs. A greater inclination angle correlates with a lower average conductivity value, indicative of enhanced thermal performance, and vice versa. Roofs with inclination angles > 0°, featuring the same material, oriented North-South exhibit lower average conductivity compared to those facing East-West.Keyword: Thermal Performance, Roof Inclination Angle, Roof MaterialsAbstrak: Urbanisasi yang pesat menuntut pertumbuhan infrastruktur dasar yang signifikan, khususnya perumahan yang terjangkau. Pada saat yang sama, peningkatan pembangunan memerlukan peningkatan kebutuhan energi. Salah satu strategi untuk memitigasi konsumsi energi yang tinggi adalah optimalisasi selubung bangunan, seperti atap yang memperoleh perolehan sinar matahari tertinggi di wilayah tropis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sudut kemiringan dan material atap terhadap kinerja termal pada iklim tropis. Lima konfigurasi sudut kemiringan atap dengan material berbeda, menghadap orientasi Utara-Selatan dan Timur-Barat, dianalisis menggunakan Ladybug dan Honeybee Tools. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sudut kemiringan atap, material berpengaruh nyata terhadap konduksi rata-rata. Secara berurutan, bahan atap dengan nilai konduktivitas rata-rata paling rendah adalah genteng beton, genteng tanah liat, atap PVC, dan atap metal. Sudut kemiringan yang lebih besar berkorelasi dengan nilai konduktivitas rata-rata yang lebih rendah, yang menunjukkan peningkatan kinerja termal, dan sebaliknya. Atap dengan sudut kemiringan > 0°, dengan bahan yang sama, berorientasi Utara-Selatan menunjukkan konduktivitas rata-rata lebih rendah dibandingkan atap yang menghadap Timur-Barat Kata Kunci: Kinerja Termal, Sudut Kemiringan Atap, Material Ata

    PERANCANGAN RUANG KOMUNAL PADA HUNIAN MAHASISWA UNTUK PENINGKATAN PEMBELAJARAN DAN KOLABORASI

    Abstract: The existence of communal spaces in the student campus environment is one aspect that must be fulfilled. Currently, students are required to be able to improve learning through collaboration between students. Communal space is a space that can be used together and can be used as a place to gather and interact. This research aims to address the issue of lack of space in student dormitories which has a negative impact on student satisfaction and learning quality. This research proposes to address the issue of lack of open spaces that are useful in the smooth running of student activities by designing communal spaces to support learning and collaboration within the campus environment. The research will involve analysing the needs and preferences of students which includes surveys, in-depth interviews, literature studies as well as incorporating design principles that promote learning and collaboration. The result of this research is a design drawing of a communal space with a circular layout concept that is flexible and adaptive to fulfil the needs of students. Some of the facilities designed include a creativity hallway, reflection room, seating, gazebo, and amphitheatre at the Student Residence of the Sumatra Institute of Technology through 3D designs produced by answering existing design issues. With this design, it is expected to create and improve learning activities and collaboration between students in the student residence environment.Keyword: Design, Communal Space, Residential, Student, CollaborationAbstrak: Keberadaan ruang komunal di lingkungan kampus mahasiswa merupakan salah satu aspek yang harus dipenuhi. Saat ini, mahasiswa dituntut untuk dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran melalui kolaborasi antarmahasiswa. Ruang komunal merupakan ruang yang dapat digunakan bersama dan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai tempat berkumpul dan berinteraksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah minimnya ruang pada asrama mahasiswa yang berdampak negatif pada kepuasan mahasiswa dan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini mengusulkan untuk menjawab isu minimnya ruang terbuka yang berguna dalam kelancaran kegiatan mahasiswa dengan mendesain ruang komunal guna mendukung pembelajaran dan kolaborasi dalam lingkungan kampus. Penelitian akan melibatkan analisis kebutuhan dan preferensi mahasiswa yang meliputi survei, in-depth interview (wawancara mendalam), studi literatur serta menggabungkan prinsip-prinsip desain yang mempromosikan pembelajaran dan kolaborasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa gambar rancangan ruang komunal dengan konsep circular layout yang bersifat fleksibel dan adaptif bagi pemenuhan kebutuhan mahasisawa. Beberapa fasilitas yang didesain meliputi selasar kreatifitas, ruang refleksi, tempat duduk, gazebo, dan amphitheater pada Hunian Mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Sumatera melalui 3D desain yang dihasilkan dengan menjawab isu perancangan yang ada. Dengan  adanya perancangan ini, diharapkan dapat menciptakan dan meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran serta kolaborasi antar mahasiswa di lingkungan hunian mahasiswa.Kata Kunci: Perancangan, Ruang Komunal, Hunian, Mahasiswa, Kolaboras

    Jakarta sebagai kota yang maju membuat masyarakat tertarik datang untuk bekerja dan menetap. Hal ini membuat kepadatan dan tingkat kerapatan bangunan semakin tinggi. Perumahan di Pademangan Barat berbentuk kampung kota mempunyai karakter kehidupan sosial keseharian masyarakatnya sebagaimana sebuah kampung yang mempunyai kerekatan sosial dalam bertetangga. Area ini memiliki wilayah permukiman yang sangat padat sehingga beberapa rumah dalam satu blok berderet dan saling menempel, dan bukaannya sangatlah minim. Kenyamanan rumah sangat penting bagi penghuninya sebagai sebuah persyaratan rumah sehat. Kenyamanan penghuni ditunjang oleh pengudaraan dan pencahayaan alami yang baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan observasi pada kawasan penelitian seluas kecamatan, kemudian diambil area yang paling padat sebagai objek penelitian.     Web-Based Raw Material Inventory Forecasting System : Using Double Exponential Smoothing Method In Selera Baru Bakery

    Controlling raw material inventory is important in every production process, but Selera Baru Bakery has not received control over the raw material inventory procurement process, so business owner does not know when the right time to procure raw materials is. This causes bread production to be carried out in accordance with the availability of existing raw materials when the production process is carried out not based on sales needs. The production process that is not in accordance with these needs results in a shortage or excess stock so that the bread is moldy and not suitable for sale. Based on this condition, research is conducted using the Double Exponential Smoothing method with PHP programming language and MySQL uses database. System design uses UML and system development uses Waterfall, based on the categories of wheat raw materials, flour, yeast, sugar, eggs and margarine with alpha parameter testing of 0.2 showing effectiveness in using the Double Exponential Smoothing method with a MAPE value of less than 10%, this proves that the forecasting results are effective and accurate in controlling the raw material inventory procurement process in Selera Baru Bakery

    E-Government Implementation Planning in The Foreign Ministry in XYZ Village Government Indonesia

    The implementation of e-Government has become a commitment of the Government as set out in Presidential Instruction No. 3 of 2003 on national policies and strategies for the development of the e-government, stating that each Regional Government can take the necessary measures in accordance with its main tasks, functions, and authority to implement the development and development of government services based on Information and Communications Technology (ICT) nationally. In support of the implementation of e-Government in the area must of course start from the smallest government of the village. The village is the smaller part of the administrative government system in Indonesia, according to the Law No.6 Year 2014 about the village states the maintenance of the government of village using information technology can be done through e-Governance Village. The implementation of e-Government requires an in-depth study of a suitable model for this village's e-government. The research methods used in the Research are Qualitative Methods, the process of identification of the e-Government needs of the village is carried out with the COBIT 4.1 Framework, Critical Success Factor (CSF), and SWOT analysis. The results of the analysis produce Maturity Level to find out the existing condition of the XYZ Village Government towards e-government, and proposes the implementation plan of e-governing to the XYZ Village Government

    Effective management of a student competition website is crucial in the contemporary digital landscape, as it can support a substantial number of participants and users with optimal performance. As the competition organizer, APTISI Jawa Timur Province often use a website as the platform for spreading information regarding these competitions. Recent advancements in these competitions encompass the introduction of additional levels and categories, participant administration functionalities, payment systems, work submissions, competition webinars, and the issuance of competition certificates. The competition website development team encounters difficulties in sustaining the website's features and quality. The swift advancement of information technology demands scalable and adaptable web solutions, especially for platforms that handle dynamic and intricate capabilities like student competition websites. This paper establishes the deployment of a microservices architecture on the student competition website (lokreatif.org) utilizing web service methodologies. The major goal is to improve the system's modularity, scalability, and maintainability by breaking the application into independently deployable services. Implementing microservices architecture in student competition websites allows each key function to be implemented as an independent service. This method not only improves the efficiency of development and maintenance but also facilitates more distributed development teams
