    KETANGGUHAN TERMAL: MENGANALISIS BENTUK ATAP VERNAKULAR DALAM MENGATUR SUHU DAN KELEMBAPAN

    Abstract: Vernacular architecture is still used today, especially in rural areas because almost all residents do not have expertise in the field of architecture. In theory, this concept is worthy of use because it can respond to surrounding conditions. However, in reality, many residents of vernacular houses feel as hot as the residents of Slagi Jepara Village feel. Moreover, coastal areas have higher temperatures than other types of areas. This causes the house to be more adaptable by providing maximum thermal performance. The roof will receive the most heat from outside, so the role of the roof in regulating building temperature is important. Therefore, this research was carried out with the aim of knowing the thermal performance of several types of vernacular roofs so as to obtain the form of vernacular roof that has the best thermal performance. Using quantitative methods with the help of data loggers to record the temperature and humidity of the under-roof and exterior spaces. As a result, the roof of Limasan Lawakan has better thermal performance than the roof of Limasan Maligi Gajah. This is in accordance with research which states that the height and air circulation on the roof affect the thermal performance values.Keyword: Kinerja Termal, Atap, Arsitektur VernakularAbstrak: Arsitektur vernakular masih digunakan hingga sekarang terlebih di pedesaan karena hampir semua warganya tidak memiliki keahlian di bidang arsitektur. Dalam teorinya, konsep ini memang layak digunakan karena dapat merespon kondisi sekitar. Namun, pada kenyataannya banyak penghuni rumah vernakular yang merasa panas seperti yang dirasakan warga Desa Slagi Jepara. Terlebih wilayahnya berupa pesisir memiliki suhu lebih tinggi daripada tipe wilayah yang lain. Hal ini menyebabkan rumah harus lebih bisa beradaptasi dengan memberikan kinerja termal yang lebih maksimal. Panas dari luar akan diterima paling banyak oleh atap sehingga peran atap dalam mengatur suhu bangunan menjadi penting. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui kinerja termal beberapa tipe atap vernakular sehingga didapatkan bentuk atap vernakular yang memiliki kinerja termal paling baik. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan bantuan alat data logger untuk mencatat suhu dan kelembapan ruang bawah atap dan eksterior. Hasilnya, atap limasan lawakan memiliki kinerja termal lebih baik daripada atap limasan maligi gajah. Hal ini sesuai dengan penelitian yang menyebutkan bahwa ketinggian dan sirkulasi udara pada atap mempengaruhi nilai kinerja termal.Kata Kunci: Kinerja Termal, Atap, Arsitektur Vernakula

    Abstract: Javanese society is inserparable from the philosophy of  life, even in construting a building. This article aims toanalyze the unique philosophical meaning of architecture Wisma Karatowibowo by using descriptive-qualitative analysis methods and interpretivsm paradigm.Wisma Kartowibowo has a mixture of traditional Javanese and modern colonial architecture. Raden Kartowibowo is a well-known educational figure in Blitar Cityat that time, he has interesting thoughts that he expressed in his house map. Raden Kartowibowo relates his house map to the sequence of human body and the development of human thoughts from the time period.Keyword: Wisma Kartowibowo; Raden Kartowibowo; Philosophy; ArchitectureAbstrak: Masyarakat Jawa tidak terlepas dari filosofi kehidupan bahkan dalam mendirikan sebuah bangunan. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis makna filosofis dari arsitektur Wisma Kartowibowo yang cukup unik dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif-kualitatif dan paradigma interpretivisme. Wisma Kartowibowo memiliki arsitektur percampuran tradisional Jawa dan kolonial modern. Raden Kartowibowo yang merupakan salah satu tokoh pendidikan di Kota Blitar pada masa itu, memiliki pemikiran menarik yang beliau tuangkan dalam denah rumahnya.     IDENTIFIKASI KORIDOR JALAN SUKUN RAYA SEMARANG DAN POTENSI REVITALISASI SHOPPING MALL BERKONSEP PEDESTRIAN WALK

    Various private housing estates have developed in Banyumanik Subdistrict, such as Taman Setiabudi Housing, Puri Perdana, Jati Raya Indah and others. Taman Setiabudi Housing is unique because the entrance to the housing estate has developed into a street market area and Pasar Minggu. This housing is located on the Sukun Raya road corridor. This corridor has developed several shops, restaurants, supermarkets, minimarkets, rows of shophouses, schools, restaurants, cafes, clothing stores, pharmacies, street vendors, salons, grocery stores, fruit and vegetable shops and gas stations. There is an abandoned building that used to be the Harmoni Supermarket, which was successful in the 1990-2000 era and closed in the 2000s. Many changes in the function of buildings into commercial buildings characterize the rapid development of the corridor into a commercial area. This research aims to reveal the characteristics of the corridor and find the design potential of developing the corridor as a pedestrian walk by revitalizing the Harmoni shopping building. The research uses survey methods, interviews, depictions of corridors, and Google Streetview to detail building types and facades. The research findings show the potential to develop the Sukun Raya corridor as a commercial area with a pedestrian walk concept by revitalizing the shopping mall

    PENGARUH SUN SHADING TERHADAP KENYAMANAN THERMAL DAN VISUAL PADA RUANG BACA GEDUNG AUDITORIUM POLITEKNIK PEKERJAAN UMUM SEMARANG

    Abstract: The use of Sunshading elements is often applied by Architects in designing building facades to respond to solar heat radiation entering the building and is an important element that influences the temperature in the room and the intensity of light entering the room. By using quantitative methods with OTTV OTTV ( Overall thermal transfer Value )  calculation simulations and software dialux according to SNI 6389-2020 regulations with a standard of 35 watts / m2 and SNI 6197:2020 Energy conservation in natural lighting systems with a standard of 350 lux to determine the optimal design and adapt to the facade that has been implemented so that it will produce a space standard that meets the thermal comfort criteria and visual so that it has a good impact on activities in the room as well as saving electrical energy loads because the intensity and propagation of solar heat radiation can be responded to optimally using a sun shading design.Keywords: sun shading, thermal Comfort ,Visual ComfortAbstrak: Penggunaan elemen Sunshading sering diterapkan oleh Arsitek dalam merancang fasade bangunan untuk merespon terhadap radiasi panas matahari yang masuk ke dalam bangunan dan menjadi elemen penting yang berpengaruh terhadap temperatur didalam ruangan dan intensitas cahaya yang masuk kedalam ruangan.Dengan menggunakan metoda kuantitatif dengan simulasi  perhitungan OTTV ( Overall thermal transfer Value ) dan software dialux  sesuai peraturan SNI 6389-2020 Konservasi energi selubung bangunan pada bangunan Gedung dengan standar 35 watt /m2 dan SNI 6197:2020 Konservasi energi pada sistem pencahayaan alami dengan standar 350 lux untuk menentukan desain yang optimal dan menyesuaikan pada fasade yang sudah diterapkan sehingga akan mengahasilkan standar ruang yang memenuhi kriteria kenyamanan thermal dan visual sehingga memberikan dampak yang baik pada aktivitas di ruangan tersebut disamping akan menghemat beban energi listrik karena intensitas maupun rambatan dari radiasi panas matahari dapat direspon secara optimal menggunakan desain sun shading.Kata Kunci: Naungan matahari,Kenyamanan Thermal,Kenyamanan Visua

    Abstract: This paper aims to identify the architectural plan of Sitiwinangun Village Pottery Tourism Centre from Form-Function elements, then reveal its local cultural-historical-natural meaning, and identify its preservation actions. The method is descriptive-qualitative with the approach of Architecture, Tourism, Culture and Architectural Preservation. The mass-space layout has historical meaning (pottery centre, Islamic propagation), cultural meaning and local nature meaning. Preservation of cultural and historical meaning through the adaptation of the Pottery Centre into a contemporary Pottery Tourism Centre. Preserving the meaning of local nature by maintaining its integration with local nature. The figure of the building open to the local nature means local nature, and its continuity from the Pottery Centre means history. Preservation of the figure of the old building by preservation and regular maintenance, preservation of the new building by maintaining the architectural style of the old building, then preserved. Open building layout-orientation to the old kiln is historically significant. It is preserved by maintaining the principle of open space layout and orientation. The activities of the Pottery Tourism Centre are meaningful to local history, culture and nature. For preservation, the heritage activities are maintained as before, and the present activities are adapted to the demands of the times.Keyword: Form, layout, figure, function, preservation Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi rencana arsitektur Pusat Wisata Gerabah Desa Sitiwinangun dari unsur Bentuk - Fungsi, lalu mengungkap makna budaya-sejarah-alam lokalnya, dan mengidentifikasi tindakan pelestariannya. Metodenya deskriptif-kualitatif dengan pendekatan Arsitektur, Pariwisata, Kebudayaan dan Pelestarian Arsitektur. Tata massa-ruangnya bermakna sejarah (Sentra Gerabah, syiar agama Islam), bermakna budaya serta bermakna alam lokal. Pelestarian makna budaya dan sejarah melalui adaptasi Sentra Gerabah menjadi Pusat Wisata Gerabah kekinian, dan pembukaan akses langsung ke masjid Keramat Kebagusan. Pelestarian makna alam lokal dengan mempertahankan integrasinya dengan alam lokal. Sosok bangunan terbuka ke alam setempat bermakna alam lokal, dan keberlanjutannya dari Sentra Gerabah bermakna sejarah. Pelestarian sosok bangunan lama dengan preservasi dan perawatan rutin, pelestarian bangunan baru dengan mempertahankan bergaya arsitektur bangunan lama, lalu dipreservasi. Tata ruang bangunan terbuka-orientasi ke tempat pembakaran lama bermakna sejarah. Pelestariannya dengan mempertahankan prinsip tata ruang terbuka dan orientasinya. Aktivitas Pusat Wisata Gerabah ini bermakna sejarah, budaya dan alam lokal.     BLACK SOLDIER FLY (HERMETIA ILLUCENS) SEBAGAI MEDIA ALTERNATIF REDUKSI SAMPAH ORGANIK AMPAS TAHU

    Pollution can be caused by the disposal of industrial waste which is difficult to decompose and takes a long time. Biological conversion of organic waste with the Black Sodie Fry method is an alternative that can reduce industrial waste, especially fermented tofu and tofu dregs. BSF larvae have a protein fat percentage of 20-30% at 2030% compared to other microorganisms, which can be a source of nutrient-rich food. This study aims to determine the percentage of tofu dregs during fermentation and the ability of BSF to reduce tofu dregs. In this study, we used an experimental method that included two reactors, each containing 600 7 until 16 day old larvae. The frequency of feeding the larvae is 500 g for each larva every 3 days. The results showed that the reduction value of tofu and tofu in fermentation is 23.33% and 16.605%. The optimal reduction level of BSF larvae in tofu waste and tofu waste during fermentation was found in tofu waste, which reached 23.33%

    Implementation of Knowledge Management to Support Strategic Decision-Making in Property Development Companies

    The property industry faces challenges in managing knowledge dispersed across various departments, hindering efficiency and decision-making. To address this issue, the aim of this research is to develop Knowledge Management (KM) using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which enables rapid and responsive system development according to organizational needs. By utilizing the SECI model to manage tacit and explicit knowledge, this KM prototype is capable of addressing knowledge fragmentation, improving information management efficiency, and supporting data-driven decision-making. The research findings show that this system also facilitates knowledge transfer between departments and enhances collaboration, providing a foundation for KM implementation that can increase competitiveness in the property industry

    Kebakaran merupakan suatu tragedi yang datangnya tidak bisa diprediksi, di samping tidak diinginkan oleh Masyarakat juga sering tidak terkendalikan[1]. Kebakaran ini sangatlah mengancam nyawa seluruh sivitas akademik apabila terjadi di sekolah. Banyak faktor yang menyebabkan kebakaran salah satunya yaitu disebabkan oleh faktor alam, faktor non-alam ataupun faktor manusia. Kebakaran yang terjadi di sekolah dapat menyebabkan kerusakan materil dan mengakibatkan kerugian finansial yang signifikan. Mengingat banyaknya fasilitas dan properti yang berharga seperti buku, komputer, peralatan, dan barang berharga lainnya. Penggunaan dan penerapan teknologi pendeteksi kebakaran merupakan salah satu jawaban untuk mengurangi tindak kebakaran yang lebih fatal. Pendeteksi kebakaran dapat menjadi bagian dari sistem peringatan dini dalam menghadapi keadaan darurat. Involving an in-depth analysis of political negotiation situations, this research aims to identify the key factors that influence the success of negotiations and their impact on the political communication process. Using an interdisciplinary approach that combines political communication theory and negotiation strategy, this research provides insight into how effective negotiation skills can improve results in reaching political agreements. The findings of this research contribute to the practical and theoretical understanding of the importance of negotiation in achieving political goals and provide guidance for improving negotiation skills in complex political communication contexts

    EVALUASI SISTEM DRAINASE DI UNIVERSITAS KEBANGSAAN REPUBLIK INDONESIA

    The drainage system is an important component in an area. Water discharge from the hydrological cycle or from activities in the area will be channeled into the drainage system that has been built. There will be no flooding or disruption to area activities if the drainage system is built properly. This research was conducted to determine flood discharge and flow discharge in drainage channels and then determine the factors that cause inundation at certain locations at University Kebangsaan Republik Indonesia. Quantitative methods were used in this research with hydrological mapping and also literature studies taken from several books, journals and other supporting sources related to this research, making it easier to collect data, analyze data, process data and prepare reports.. The results of the planned flood discharge compared to the existing channel discharge with a Daily Return Period (PUH) of 5 years showed that the flood discharge (Q flood) = 0.7812 m3/s and the existing channel discharge (Q existing) = 10.0091 m3/s, then the existing and planned channels are still feasible and can be used for the next 5 years. Factors that cause flooding in several locations at the Universitas Kebangsaan Republik Indonesia are uneven land elevations, roads with holes and rainwater flow that does not enter drainage channels. Keywords: Drainage system, Flood Discharge, Existing Discharge.Â
