Purpose: This study aims to identify the factors influencing the interest of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in adopting digital zakat payments, with a particular focus on the role of zakat in supporting local economic development.Method: A quantitative research design was employed, with the population comprising all MSMEs operating in Malang City. A purposive sampling technique was utilized, yielding a sample of 100 respondents. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25.Result: The findings indicate that zakat literacy, convenience, and religiosity have a positive and significant effect on the interest in digital zakat payments. This suggests that a strong understanding of zakat, the ease of use offered by digital platforms, and individuals\u27 levels of religiosity enhance the likelihood of utilizing these platforms for zakat contributions. In contrast, trust does not exert a significant influence on digital zakat payment interest, indicating potential concerns regarding the perceived reliability of digital platforms for zakat distribution. Furthermore, transparency has a negative effect, suggesting a lack of understanding regarding the openness and accountability of zakat institutions.Practical Implications for Economic Growth and Development: The study recommends that zakat institutions enhance transparency and user convenience in the management of digital zakat payments. Strengthening these aspects may lead to greater participation in zakat contributions, thereby fostering broader economic growth and development

Purpose: This study investigates how visual appeal in e-commerce influences impulse buying among women, with browsing behavior as a mediating factor. It explores how the appearance of e-commerce applications facilitates both hedonic and utilitarian browsing, which may lead to impulse buying.Method: This study used a quantitative approach by distributing online questionnaires via Google Forms through social media. The sample included 170 Gen Z and Millennial women aged 17–44 years who use Shopee in Indonesia. We analyzed the data using Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) method in SmartPLS4.Result: The results show that visual appeal significantly influences both hedonic and utilitarian browsing. Only hedonic browsing directly drives impulse buying. Visual appeal and utilitarian browsing do not significantly affect impulse buying. Moreover, hedonic browsing fully mediates the effect of visual appeal on impulse buying, while utilitarian browsing does not act as a significant mediator.Practical Implications for Economic Growth and Development: This study emphasizes the importance of visual design in e-commerce platforms. Appealing visuals enhance users\u27 enjoyment during hedonic browsing, increasing the chance of impulse buying. By creating engaging visual experiences, developers and sellers can foster user satisfaction, loyalty, and sales growth.Originality/Value: This study offers new insights by focusing on Gen Z and Millennial women in Indonesia—an underrepresented group in e-commerce research. It also clarifies the distinct mediating roles of hedonic and utilitarian browsing in the relationship between visual appeal and impulse buying

Purpose: This study examines the influence of gamification and price discounts on impulse purchases among Generation Z, with positive emotions as a mediating variable.Method: A quantitative approach was employed, using primary data collected through an online questionnaire distributed via social media. The sample consists of 258 Gen Z Shopee users across Indonesia. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS with SmartPLS version 4.0.Result: Gamification significantly influences both positive emotions and impulse buying behavior. Price discounts significantly affect positive emotions but not impulse buying directly. Positive emotions have a significant impact on impulse buying and mediate the relationship between price discounts and impulse purchases. However, they do not mediate the effect of gamification on impulse buying.Practical Implications for Economic Growth and Development: The study highlights how gamification and discount strategies that evoke positive emotions can increase impulse purchases among Gen Z in e-commerce. This can enhance transaction volumes and contribute to digital economic growth. The findings offer practical insights for e-commerce businesses seeking to influence consumer behavior.Originality/Value: This study contributes original insights by identifying positive emotions as a key mediator in the relationship between gamification, discounts, and impulse buying in Gen Z. It uncovers how gamified elements—such as challenges and rewards—stimulate emotional responses that lead to impulsive purchasing, enriching the digital marketing literature within emotion-driven e-commerce contexts

GUARANTEEING THE RIGHT TO VOTE FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO MARRY UNDERAGE IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE CONSTITUTION : Lex Principle Approach Specialist Derogat Legi Genrali and Homo Sacer Theory Giorgio Agamben

    No full text
This study aims to analyze the guarantee of the right to vote for individuals who marry underage from a constitutional perspective with the principle of lex specialis derogat legi generali approach. Normative conflicts occur between the Election Law, the Child Protection Law, the Marriage Law, and the Civil Registration Law. Based on this principle, special laws (lex specialis) can override general laws (lex generalis). Thus, married minors should be able to exercise their right to vote because the Election Law is special in the implementation of elections. This study uses the homo sacer theory  of Giorgio Agamben. In this theory, individuals under the age of 17 who marry are considered "human beings without protection" because they do not acquire constitutional rights. They are abandoned by the state even though they are still recognized as part of the state. Agamben called Homo Sacer a group that lost its political rights but remained an object of power without legal protection. This study uses a qualitative method, collecting primary data through interviews and secondary data from documentation. Data analysis was carried out with an interactive model: collection, reduction, presentation of data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that individuals who marry underage do not get the right to vote because the state fails to resolve the conflict of norms. This condition causes them to slip into the "identity vacuum" as homo sacer, abandoned due to the state\u27s inability to maintain sovereignty and protect the constitutional rights of its citizens

THE ROLE OF MOTHERS AS LEARNING COMPANIONS IN KURIKULUM MERDEKA: A Study Through Relational Dialectics Theory

    No full text
This study examines the evolving roles of mothers in facilitating their children\u27s education within Indonesia\u27s Kurikulum Merdeka.  This curriculum prioritizes student autonomy, personalized learning, and less reliance on strict instruction, hence raising the expectation for mothers to offer both academic assistance and emotional support at home.  The study employs a qualitative method rooted on a phenomenological paradigm, utilizing in-depth interviews with purposefully selected participants to explore how mothers navigate the tensions between autonomy and guidance.  The findings underscore their crucial responsibilities in promoting autonomous learning while managing dialectical challenges, such as the balance between control and freedom, as well as emotional intimacy and children\u27s increasing independence. Additionally, technology has emerged as both a facilitator and an obstacle, transforming family communication and educational practices.  The research illustrates the cultural, emotional, and logistical difficulties put on mothers and proposes pragmatic solutions, such as digital literacy workshops, community-oriented support networks, and fair access to educational resources.  These findings aim to enhance the overarching theoretical discussion on relational dialectics and provide practical solutions to augment family involvement in education within changing educational environments

THE EXPOLARIZATION OF NARCISSISTIC BEHAVIOR IN MODERN MUSLIM WOMEN ON TIKTOK SOCIAL MEDIA: Between Identity and Existence

    No full text
The rapid advancement of technology has made social media more accessible, facilitating digital interactions that shape mindsets and perspectives. However, social media development has also had negative societal impacts. This study employs a qualitative method with a library research approach. Data is obtained through the analysis of Qur\u27anic texts, interpretations, scholarly opinions, and other literature, focusing on narcissistic attitudes (tabarruj) and legal perspectives, as well as offering solutions to narcissistic behavior on social media platforms. The study aims to analyze how Muslim women present themselves on TikTok, identify manifestations of digital narcissism, examine the social, psychological, and cultural factors influencing this behavior, provide an Islamic perspective on tabarruj in the context of social media, and suggest solutions for more mindful digital engagement. Using a qualitative approach, this research investigates Qur’anic interpretations, scholarly discussions, and various literature related to digital narcissism. The findings indicate that digital narcissism among Muslim women on TikTok is reflected in behaviors such as excessive self-presentation, seeking validation through likes, comments, and followers, and the influence of social media aesthetics in shaping identity. Factors contributing to this behavior include the impact of popular culture, social pressures, and psychological dependence on external validation, which can ultimately diminish self-confidence. Therefore, raising awareness through education is essential to preserving Islamic identity in the digital era. It is hoped that social media users, particularly Muslim women, will be more selective in creating and consuming content while prioritizing moral values and simplicity in online interactions
