Religious Educational Patterns of The Millennial Generation Trough Ngopi Senja Activities
Get PDFThis study aims to describe the Islamic education strategy of the NDO community in Trenggalek Regency in shaping the religiosity of the millennial generation through Ngopi Senja and explore the implications of the activities of the NDO community in Trenggalek Regency on Islamic education and the religious attitudes of the millennial generation through Ngopi Senja. This study uses a case study approach with a qualitative method, namely collecting data through interviews with the committee and participants of the activity, direct observation of the Ngopi Senja activity, and documentation in the form of images and documents related to the focus of the research. The data analysis method in this study is based on the steps of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions to find the best results. The findings of this study include: 1) the Islamic education strategy used in the Ngopi Senja activity to shape the religiosity of the millennial generation is packaged through several stages, namely a) planning consists of formulating objectives, determining targets, themes, speakers, and facilities and infrastructure; b) implementation consists of the accuracy of the material with the target problems by utilizing digital technology; and c) evaluation of activities is carried out through comparison of target performance and monitoring through face-to-face and online; and 2) the implications of the activity strategies used by the NDO community in the Ngopi Senja activity have succeeded in shaping Islamic education and the religious attitudes of the millennial generation.
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi pendidikan Islam komunitas NDO Kabupaten Trenggalek dalam membentuk religiusitas generasi milenial melalui Ngopi Senja dan eksplorasi implikasi kegiatan komunitas NDO Kabupaten Trenggalek terhadap pendidikan Islam dan sikap religiusitas generasi milenial melalui Ngopi Senja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dengan metode kualitatif, yaitu mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara kepada panitia dan peserta kegiatan, pengamatan langsung terhadap kegiatan Ngopi Senja, dan dokumentasi berbentuk gambar dan dokumen terkait fokus penelitian. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini sesuai dengan langkah-langkah dari Miles dan Huberman, meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan untuk mencari hasil yang terbaik. Temuan penelitian ini meliputi: 1) strategi pendidikan Islam yang digunakan dalam kegiatan Ngopi Senja untuk membentuk religiusitas generasi milenial dikemas melalui beberapa tahapan, yakni a) perencanaan terdiri dari merumuskan tujuan, menentukan sasaran, tema, pembicara, serta sarana dan prasarana; b) pelaksanaan terdiri dari ketepatan materi dengan problematika sasaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital; dan c) evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui perbandingan performa sasaran dan pemantauan melalui tatap muka dan daring; dan 2) implikasi dari strategi kegiatan yang digunakan komunitas NDO dalam kegiatan Ngopi Senja telah berhasil membentuk pendidikan Islam dan sikap religiusitas generasi milenial
The Implementation of the Angel\u27s Responsibility Toward the Duties of Teachers in the Modern Era
Get PDFThis research aims to examine how the values of faith in angels, especially in terms of responsibility, can be applied in more holistic educational practices in the modern era. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature approach. The analysis technique goes through three stages: Data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that the implementation of angels\u27 responsibility in carrying out their duties as teachers is very relevant and has a positive impact on the quality of education, both in terms of students\u27 academic results and their character building. Trustworthiness in carrying out tasks, unconditional obedience, sincerity in every task, justice in carrying out tasks, and patience in carrying out heavy tasks are important elements that help teachers face various challenges that arise in the modern era. Teachers who emulate the nature of angels, who have integrity, sincerity, and a sense of responsibility, will be able to create a conducive learning environment and guide students to develop not only in knowledge but also in the formation of a strong character.
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana nilai-nilai keimanan kepada malaikat, khususnya dalam hal tanggung jawab dapat diterapkan dalam praktik pendidikan yang lebih holistik di era modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan. Teknik analisis melalui tiga tahapan: Kondensasi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi sifat tanggung jawab malaikat dalam menjalankan tugas sebagai guru sangat relevan dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap kualitas pendidikan, baik dalam hal hasil akademik siswa maupun pembentukan karakter mereka. Amanah dalam menjalankan tugas, kepatuhan tanpa syarat, keikhlasan dalam setiap tugas, keadilan dalam menjalankan tugas, dan kesabaran dalam menjalankan tugas berat merupakan elemen-elemen penting yang membantu guru dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan yang muncul di era modern. Guru yang meneladani sifat malaikat, yang memiliki integritas, kesungguhan, dan rasa tanggung jawab, akan mampu menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang kondusif, serta membimbing siswa untuk berkembang tidak hanya dalam ilmu pengetahuan, tetapi juga dalam pembentukan karakter yang kuat

ISLAMIC COUNSELING INTERVENTIONS FOR ADDRESSING LGBT BEHAVIOR IN ACCORDANCE WITH INDONESIAN LEGAL PROVISIONS
Get PDFThis study investigates the application of Islamic counseling interventions to address LGBT behavior among students in schools, with a focus on mental and spiritual guidance grounded in Indonesian legal provisions, specifically Article 292 of the Criminal Code and Article 414, paragraph (1) of Law No. 1/2023. Employing a qualitative research design, the study engaged 24 participants, utilizing data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, document analysis, and audio-visual materials. Data analysis was conducted through triangulation, synthesis, interpretation, and the formulation of propositions. The findings reveal that Islamic counseling effectively mitigates LGBT behaviors among students through spiritual practices, including daily prayers, Quran recitation, memorization of short surahs, and transcription of Quranic verses. From a legal perspective, LGBT-related actions are in violation of Article 292 of the Criminal Code and Article 414, paragraph (1) of Law No. 1/2023, which stipulate criminal penalties ranging from 5 to 9 years of imprisonment. The imposition of these legal sanctions serves as a deterrent, encouraging students to critically reflect on the potential consequences of their actions. This research contributes a novel approach by integrating a humanistic and religious framework within counseling interventions, while also emphasizing the role of Indonesian legal regulations in fostering legal awareness and deterring unlawful behavior. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pengetahuan mengenai sejarah, proses pembuatan, bahan-bahan yang digunakan, keunikan dan nilai-nilai intrinsik maupun instrumental dalam proses pembuatan kerupuk. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerupuk yang diproduksi dalam pabrik milik Pak Tris ini merupakan sebuah karya atau inovasi masyarakat Mangli yang diperoleh dari proses akulturasi dan asimilasi antara masyarakat Sunda dan Madura. Selain itu, kearifan lokal ternyata sangat memengaruhi teknik, bahan baku, dan proses pembuatan kerupuk di Pabrik milik Pak Tris yang terletak di Kelurahan Mangli, Kabupaten Jember. Ratu Dwi Anjani merupakan representasi dari agensi perempuan pribumi Sasak Lombok yang membentuk pengalaman mistik dan sakral dalam memberikan makna kehidupan yang komperhensif antara gender dan pemeliharaan dewi. Tujuan penelian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan feminim sosok suci Ratu Roh Jin Dewi Anjani yang memimpin dan membentuk spiritualitas para perempuan dalam organisasi Nahdatul Wathan. Metode penelitian ini adalah pendekatan analisis data kualitatif dengan studi pustaka (Library research). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Ratu Jin Dewi Anjani merupakan sosok perempuan yang disakralkan dan berperan penting dalam membentuk persepsi masyarakat Lombok tentang hubungan antara manusia dan lingkungan alam. Kehadirannya menciptakan dinamika spiritual yang terorganisir dalam organisasi Nahdatul Wathan yang merupakan organisasi Islam terbesar dan berpengaruh di Lombok sebagai representasi dari semangat ekofeminis untuk menjaga dan merawat alam lingkungan, kehidupan sosial masyarakat, politisasi dan religious-gender.Kata kunci: Ratu Dwi Anjani, Ekofeminis, Nahdatul Wathan, Lombok
Kata Serapan Bahasa Sasak Dari Bahasa Arab (Analisis Fonologis Dan Semantik)
Get PDFLanguage is a sound system used by ethnic groups in expressing their desires with the applicable rules. The use of Sasak loanwords from Arabic through written and spoken language causes a change in writing in the Sasak language loanwords from Arabic. This causes a change in the form of the Arabic loanword into the Sasak language, because these two languages are two different languages. These changes can occur in phonological and morphological patterns. The two languages in the realm of morphology have different sequences and syllables in the occurrence of word formation, so there is a change in word class from the previous word class in syllables. Likewise at the phonological level, namely in the field of phonemes, both languages have their own rules.
The entry of Islam in the Sasak lands became a determining factor for the Arabic language until it was heard by the Sasak people. The fact that the Qur\u27an as the foundation and source of Islamic law has made Arabic known as the Islamic language, until the implementation of worship, both obligatory and sunnah prayers using Arabic. Analysis of Students\u27 Arabic Speech Rhythm in Mataram State Islamic University
Get PDFThis paper seeks to explain how students enrolled in the Arabic Language Study Programme at the State Islamic University of Mataram acquire Arabic speech rhythm. The research method utilised was a quantitative descriptive method termed as a survey study which covered 91 respondents comprising of 45% males and 55% females and consisting of the 2020 (40%), 2021 (35%) and 2022 (25%). The findings indicated that around 15% of the respondents are found to be very excellent in the mastery of Arabic rhythms, 40% moderate, 30% poor mastery while 15% did not master Arabic rhythms at all. Other than the place of residence, the factors that contribute to the mastery of speech rhythm are educational background, training frequency and exposure to Arabic-language media where the respondents cited all three as contributing factors totalling 100%, with how many percent each contributing further indicating language barriers such as 40%, 35%, and 25% respectively. Bilingualism is crucial for pronunciation; however, students pointed out their inability to acquire accurate bilingualism as one of the reasons for the students’ deficient Arabic pronunciation, which also involves difficulties in controlling the tempo of pronunciation (50%), the syllables during pronunciation (30%), and acquiring an Arabic vocabulary (20%). Students wish for special training (45%), using audio/video learning media (30%), and receiving individual supervision (25%) in order to better their control of the speech rhythm. The study states that even though a reasonable number of students have acquired sufficient control of rhythm, a great number still have problems with controlling the appropriate timing and pressure when speaking. This calls for more natural and rhythmic Arabic speaking through more practical exercises and accompanying media
Guiding reading club members to build better reading skills using directed reading thinking activities (DRTA)
No full text[Bahasa]: Menindaklanjuti hasil wawancara dengan anggota klub membaca di UIN Tulungagung yang menggambarkan bahwa sebagian besar dari mereka mengaku mempunyai berbagai permasalahan membaca, terutama membuat referensi dan inferensi. Kedua keterampilan tersebut sangat dibutuhkan untuk memperoleh pemahaman bacaan yang baik. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui metode Community Based Research (CBR). Teknik mengajar membaca Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) diimplementasikan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca mereka khususnya keterampilan membuat referensi dan inferensi. Pengabdian masyarakat berbasis penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni 2023 kepada 47 anggota Klub Baca UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung melalui penelitian tindakan. Nilai rata-rata pre-test yang diberikan sebelum dilakukan perlakuan adalah 52,23 dan hanya 10,6% yang memperoleh nilai ketuntasan minimal 75 dari total nilai 90. Sedangkan nilai post-test setelah perlakuan adalah 72,75, dan terdapat 75 % peserta mencapai nilai ketuntasan minimum. Hasil pengabdian berbasis penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik mengajar membaca DRTA dapat membantu pembelajar bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa asing untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mereka dalam membuat referensi dan inferensi. Hal ini dapat mengarahkan mereka untuk mencapai pemahaman membaca yang lebih baik

[English]: In response to the interview results with the reading club members at the State Islamic University of Tulungagung, most of them claim to have various reading problems, mainly in making references and inferences. Those two skills are significantly needed to achieve good reading comprehension. Therefore, it is essential to address the problem through a community service program with Community Based Research (CBR) method. The Directed Reading Thinking Activities (DRTA) technique of teaching reading was implemented to improve their reading skills, specifically in making references and inferences. This research-based community service was carried out in June 2023 to 47 members of the Reading Club at the State Islamic University of Tulungagung. The mean score of the pre-test before the treatment was 52,23 and only 10,6% got the minimum passing score of 75 out of the total score of 90. Meanwhile, the post-test score after the treatment was 72,75, and 75% of the participants reached the minimum passing score. The result of this CBR indicates that implementing the DRTA technique of teaching reading helps EFL learners improve their skills in making references and inferences. This further leads them to achieve better reading comprehension.

The Training and coaching on information and technology-based financial report for the mosque management board
No full text[Bahasa]: Pengelolaan keuangan masjid menjadi salah satu kunci terlaksananya manajemen masjid yang baik. Namun, masih banyak ditemukan dewan masjid di Indonesia khususnya di Kota Balikpapan yang belum memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dalam menyusun laporan keuangan, sehingga tidak mencapai target pengelolaan keuangann yang efisien, akurat dan transparan. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dewan masjid dalam mengelola laporan keuangan yang berbasis teknologi informasi di Kota Balikpapan. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan penyusunan laporan keuangan berbasis Teknologi Informasi (IT) dengan mitra adalah anggota dewan masjid di kota Balikpapan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa setelah pelatihan sebanyak 66,7% peserta akan mengaplikasikan IT dalam penyusunan laporan keuangan dan sebanyak 33% mempertimbangkan untuk memanfaatkan teknologi tersebut. Program pengabdian ini mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra dalam mengelola laporan keuangan yang berbasis IT. Program ini menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen keuangan dewan masjid di Indonesia.

[English]: Mosque financial management is one of the keys to achieving a well mosque management. However, many mosque management boards in Indonesia, especially in Balikpapan City, still have not utilized information technology in the financial report process. Thus, this condition causes inefficient, inaccurate, and non-transparent financial mosque management. This community service program aims to improve the ability of mosque management boards to administer financial reports based on information technology in Balikpapan City. The method used in this program was training and assistance in preparing financial statements based on Information Technology (IT). The participants of this program were members of the mosque management board in Balikpapan city. The results show that after the training, 66.7% of participants will apply IT in preparing financial reports, and 33% will consider utilizing the technology. This community service program can improve partners\u27 knowledge and skills in managing IT-based financial reports. This program is an alternative way to enhance the financial management competence of the mosque management board in Indonesia.
