SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF SnO2/ZnO COMPOSITE USING JAPANESE PAPAYA LEAF EXTRACT (Cnidoscolus aconitifolius) WITH HYDROTHERMAL METHOD
No full textSnO2/ZnO composites were synthesized using the hydrothermal method using Japanese papaya (Cnidoscolus aconitifolius) leaf extract. This study aims to determine the effect of using Japanese papaya leaf extract (Cnidoscolus aconitifolius) on the formation of crystallinity and morphology in synthesizing SnO2/ZnO composites. Synthesis was carried out with variations in mass of 5, 10, and 15 grams using the hydrothermal method for 12 hours at 160°C. The results of X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) characterization show that wide diffractogram peaks are identified as the peaks of the SnO2 compound with a tetragonal structure and sharp peaks are identified as the peaks of the ZnO compound. The Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) characterization shows the peak wave number of 665 cm-1 which is the Sn-O-Sn strain and the peaks at wave numbers 598 cm-1 and 501 cm-1 which are the Zn-O strain. Characterization of Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) in the synthesis of SnO2/ZnO composites after adding Japanese papaya (Cnidoscolus aconitifolius) leaf extract had relatively reduced particle size and aggregate formation compared to no extract. The best effective mass of Japanese papaya leaf extract (Cnidoscolus aconitifolius) is the mass variation of 15 grams with 28.49 nm crystals

Get PDFThe Sasak Tribe community on Lombok Island is part of a community that has high social relations, especially in terms of kinship and friendship that is always established in every level of society. One of the favorite zones of the Sasak people to strengthen social relations is to gather in one of the typical buildings that have a fairly high cultural architectural value, namely berugak, either berugak in the form of sekepat or sekenem. This gazebo-shaped building made of wood or bamboo for the Sasak community is not just a seat but a place for communication and information exchange between communities, both planned and unplanned. Departing from this community communication activity is what led the author to study in depth what the flow of communication and information that is built in the midst of a community that communicates through berugak.The method used by the author or researcher in studying berugak as a flow of communication and information for the Sasak community of Lombok is to use exploratory qualitative type research which researchers want to see formulation of communication and information flows used by the Sasak community because broadly speaking researchers do not have a clear picture of the situation and type of communication used by the Sasak Tribe community and what the flow of information circulation is like in the Sasak Tribe community, especially in the use of berugak as a medium for communication.Finally, after conducting an in-depth study of this study, researchers were able to find the results that berugak for the community has a multifunction between, as a family room, study room, discussion room and even a place to live. Then various communication models can be formed through berugak according to the interests and position of the location such as interpersonal communication, group communication, organizational communication, political communication and public communication. Get PDFThis study aims to evaluate the efforts of the library in increasing students\u27 reading interest at Aisyiah Taman Harapan Curup Elementary School. The research analyzes various strategies implemented by the library to facilitate and develop reading habits among students. The findings show that students have a very high interest in reading, which is influenced by regular teaching activities in the library managed by teachers and librarians. These activities include three scheduled library visits each day, allowing students to consistently engage in reading. Specific efforts include book analysis competitions with prizes to motivate students and collaboration with the local library to expand access to various book collections. However, the study also identifies the need for reorganizing the library space and updating the service system to enhance comfort and accessibility for users. Organizing books by category is also recommended to make searching easier. These findings provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of library methods in promoting reading interest and offer recommendations for further developmen
The Influence of Work Environment and Work Motivation on Employee Performance at X Resort Bali
Get PDFPurpose: This study aims to determine the influence of the work environment and work motivation on employee performance at X Resort Bali
Method: The research employs a quantitative approach. The study\u27s population consists of 150 employees, with a sample of 60 respondents selected through nonprobability sampling. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires using a 5-point Likert scale to measure 30 statement items. The data analysis techniques used include classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, determination coefficient, t-tests, and F-tests, all aided by SPSS 26 software.
Result: The results of this study indicate that the work environment (X1) has a positive and significant partial effect on employee performance at X Resort Bali, as evidenced by a t-value greater than the t-table value (3.271 > 1.671) with a significance value of less than alpha (0.002 < 0.050). Motivation also has a positive and significant partial effect on employee performance, as shown by a t-value greater than the t-table value (4.103 > 1.671) with a significance value of less than alpha (0 < 0.050). The work environment and work motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance at X Resort Bali, with an F-value greater than the F-table value (51.319 > 3.16) and a significance value of less than alpha (0.000 < 0.050). The work environment and motivation contribute 64.3% to employee performance, as determined through the analysis of the determination coefficient, while the remaining 36.6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
Contribution: This research contributes by demonstrating that the work environment and motivation significantly improve employee performance at X Resort Bali, providing valuable insights for management to focus on these factors in efforts to enhance productivity
The Impact of Social Media on Tourists\u27 Visits at Giong Siu Tourism Destination in Mataram City
Get PDFPurpose: The rapid development of technology has had a significant impact on the economic cycle of society. This research aims to determine the impact of the use of social media on increasing the number of tourist visits to the Giong Siu tourist attraction.
Method: This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The technique for determining informants uses purposive sampling technique. Meanwhile, in analyzing the data, researchers used the Miles and Huberman analysis model. Then test the validity of the data in terms of credibility in the form of source triangulation.
Results: The results of this research show that social media (Instagram and Facebook) have a positive impact on increasing the number of tourist visits to the Giong Siu tourist attraction. Promotion via social media is an alternative marketing strategy for introducing tourist attractions.
Contribution: This research can be used as a reference in increasing efforts to develop tourist attractions in the region

The findings indicate that the implementation of religious moderation in Islamic education can strengthen inclusivity and promote values of tolerance, dialogue, and mutual respect. The implications of this research underscore the importance of integrating values of religious moderation into Islamic educational curricula as a step to enrich educational experiences and reinforce inclusivity. Thus, this research provides a significant contribution to deepening understanding of how religious moderation can serve as a strong foundation for inclusive Islamic education

The urgency of this research is rooted in the importance of adaptation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) actors to digital changes, especially in the COVID-19 pandemic situation. This research uses a qualitative method involving active users of Tokopedia e-commerce from various regions in Indonesia. No full textThis study discusses the hegemony of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) in Indonesian political dynamics by using a descriptive qualitative approach through the library research method using a sharia normative approach. Nadhalatul Ulama has strong historical roots, having a significant influence on Indonesian politics. The broad support of the community, especially Nahdliyin, allowed him to influence political policy at both the local and national levels. Through participation in the policy-making process such as the Islamic Boarding School Bill, NU brings agendas that are relevant to the interests of the community, especially in the fields of religion and education. In addition, NU plays a role in socializing democratic values through Islamic boarding schools, reflecting its contribution to strengthening the foundation of democracy at the local level. NU also acts as a counterweight in government oversight, ensuring policies are in line with people\u27s aspirationsThe implications of this research include a better understanding of Indonesia\u27s political dynamics and the importance of considering the role of non-state actors such as NU in the political process.
