Increasing teacher creativity through computer-based learning media development training
No full text[Bahasa]: Di Sulawesi Tenggara, pemerintah daerah telah mengadakan pelatihan untuk guru-guru. Namun, program ini belum sepenuhnya diterapkan di sekolah, terutama di daerah pinggiran. Kesulitan dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis komputer dan metode pembelajaran konvensional mempengaruhi motivasi dan pemahaman siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan pengetahuan dan meningkatkan pemahaman guru-guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Lasolo Kepulauan, Kabupaten Konawe Utara, Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis komputer berbantuan Microsoft powerpoint, ispring suite software, dan Kvisoft Flipbook Maker, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kreativitasnya dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran di kelas. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR). Hasil program pengabdian ini menunjukkan 1) Guru-guru merespon sangat baik terkait IAIN Kendari yang memberikan pelatihan terhadap kebutuhan Kerjasama yang diharapkan oleh guru-guru; 2) Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan kreativitas guru-guru dalam mendesain dan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis komputer berbantuan setelah dilaksanakannya pelatihan. Dari hasil evaluasi program, direkomendasikan untuk perlunya dilakukan kegiatan sejenis, agar guru-guru mampu memanfaatkan teknologi komputer atau teknologi Informasi (IT) dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, perlu juga dilakukan pelatihan pemanfaatan software lain seperti canva, serta media-media pembelajaran lainnya yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh guru-guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan evaluasi peserta didik berbasis digital.

[English]: In Southeast Sulawesi, the regional government has conducted training for teachers. However, this program has not been fully implemented in schools, especially in suburban areas. The difficulty in using computer-based learning media and conventional learning methods affects student motivation and understanding. This community service program aims to provide knowledge insight and increase understanding of junior high school teachers in Lasolo Islands, North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province in utilizing computer-based learning media assisted by Microsoft PowerPoint, Ispring software suite, and Kvisoft Flipbook Maker so that they can increase their creativity in carrying out learning in class. The method used was the Participatory Action Research (PAR). The results show that: 1) The teachers responded very well to IAIN Kendari, which provided training on the cooperation needs expected by the teachers; 2) There is an increase in teachers\u27 knowledge and creativity in designing and utilizing computer-assisted learning media after the training. It is also recommended that similar activities be carried out so that teachers can utilize computer technology/information technology (IT) in the learning process. In addition, it is necessary to provide training on using other software such as Canva and other learning media that teachers can utilize in digital-based learning and student evaluation activities.

Processing sawdust waste into innovative eco-substrate through upskilling Batulappa village women\u27s group
No full text[Bahasa]: Limbah serbuk gergaji dari hasil pengolahan kayu di Desa Batulappa menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi lingkungan, terutama pencemaran udara akibat pengelolaan yang tidak optimal. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan limbah serbuk gergaji tersebut dengan memberdayakan Kelompok Perempuan Desa Batulappa melalui berupa Upskilling mitra dalam pengolahan limbah serbuk gergaji menjadi Eco-Substrate Innovative. Mitra dalam program ini adalah 15 anggota Kelompok Perempuan Desa Batulappa yang tergabung dalam divisi SDM dan Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan berbasis partisipasi masyarakat (society participatory). Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, yaitu rata-rata 90% dari aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengolah limbah serbuk gergaji, dimana anggota mitra berhasil memahami dan menguasai teknik pengolahan serbuk gergaji menjadi produk bernilai ekonomis berupa Eco-Substrate Innovative. Selain itu, mitra juga memperoleh keterampilan tambahan, seperti pengemasan, pelabelan, pemasaran, dan pengelolaan keuangan sederhana. Melalui program pengabdian ini, mitra mampu mentransformasi limbah serbuk gergaji menjadi produk inovatif yang ramah lingkungan, sekaligus berpotensi untuk dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi bagi Kelompok Perempuan Desa Batulappa.

[English]: Sawdust waste from wood processing in Batulappa Village has a negative impact on the environment, especially air pollution due to suboptimal management. This community service program aims to overcome the problem of sawdust waste by empowering the Batulappa Village Women\u27s Group by processing sawdust waste into Innovative Eco-Substrate. The partners in this program were 15 Batulappa Village Women\u27s Group members of the Human Resources and Environmental Management division. The methods used include extension, training, and mentoring based on community participation (society-participatory). The evaluation results show a significant increase, namely an average of 90% in terms of knowledge and skills in processing sawdust waste, where partner members succeeded in understanding and mastering the technique of processing sawdust into economically valuable products in the form of Innovative Eco-Substrate. In addition, partners also gained additional skills, such as packaging, labeling, marketing, and simple financial management. Through this community service program, partners can transform sawdust waste into innovative, environmentally friendly products while also having the potential to improve economic welfare for the Batulappa Village Women\u27s Group.

Evaluation of internal control in business systems using COSO framework: A case study of a barbershop business in Ambon City
No full text[Bahasa]: Usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah (UMKM) memiliki peranan besar dalam menunjang keberhasilan perekonomian negara. Oleh karenanya, pelaku bisnis perlu menerapkan pengendalian internal yang memadai untuk mencapai tujuan bisnis secara efektif. Masalah utama yang dihadapi oleh para pelaku UMKM saat ini adalah belum optimalnya penerapan pengendalian internal dalam sistem bisnis yang berisiko menyebabkan kegagalan usaha. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengendalian internal organisasi bisnis menggunakan kerangka COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission) yang mencakup lingkungan pengendalian, penilaian risiko, aktivitas pengendalian, informasi dan komunikasi, dan pemantauan. Program pengabdian ini berbentuk penelitian case study dengan menggunakan metode Service Learning yang melibatkan usaha barbershop dengan tujuh cabang di Kota Ambon. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi secara langsung dengan pihak-pihak terkait bisnis babrbershop sebagai pealu UMKM. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pengendalian internal pada usaha jasa barbershop ini belum sepenuhnya memenuhi standar memadai. Evaluasi ini dapat mengidentifikasi kendala pada masing-masing komponen pengendalian sehingga menyediakan informasi penting bagi pelaku bisnis barbershop untuk menetapkan rencana tindak lanjut yang tepat. Program pengabdian ini memberi kontribusi literatur mengenai penerapan pengendalian internal menggunakan COSO framework pada UMKM. Implikasi praktisnya adalah organisasi usaha barbaershop perlu untuk memperbaiki penerapan pengendalian internal pada komponen lingkungan pengendalian, penilaian risiko, aktivitas pengendalian dan pemantauan.

[English]: Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play a pivotal role in supporting the success of the country\u27s economy. Therefore, business organisations must implement adequate internal controls to achieve business goals effectively. The main problem MSME entrepreneurs face is the suboptimal application of internal control in their business system, which can potentially cause business failure. This community service program aims to evaluate the internal control of business organisations using the COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission) framework, which includes the control environment, risk assessment, control activities, information and communication, and monitoring. This service programme is a case study using the Service Learning method involving a barbershop business with seven branches in Ambon City. Data were collected through interviews, documentation and observation of stakeholders in the barbershop business organisation as MSME entrepreneurs. The results show that the implementation of internal control in the barbershop business has not fulfilled adequate control standards. This evaluation can identify constraints and challenges in each of the business\u27s internal control components. It provides important information for barbershop businesses to establish appropriate strategic action plans. This service programme contributes literature regarding the implementation of internal control using the COSO framework in MSMEs. The practical implication is that barbershop business organisations should improve the implementation of internal control in the components of the control environment, risk assessment, control activities and monitoring.

Organisational assistance for violence prevention and management teams to improve school safety
No full text[Bahasa]: Kekerasan di lingkungan sekolah menjadi masalah serius yang dapat mengancam kenyamanan dan keamanan siswa. Berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset dan Teknologi nomor 46 Tahun 2023, Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Kota Semarang telah membentuk tim pencegahan dan penanganan kekerasan (TPPK) sekolah. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya tim belum menjalankan perannya secara optimal karena kurangnya pemahaman tim terhadap tugas dan fungsinya. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui pendampingan tim TPPK sekolah ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman anggota tim TPPK dalam upaya pencegahan kekerasan, baik secara preventif maupun kuratif. Pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang baik akan mendukung pelaksanaan penanganan kekerasan di sekolah secara efektif. Mitra program ini adalah Musyawarah Kerja Kepala Sekolah (MKKS) SMA Kota Semarang yang terdiri dari 77 SMA dengan rincian 61 SMA Swasta dan 16 SMA Negeri. Metode yang digunakan dalam Program Kemitraan Masyarakat adalah pendekatan Community Development. Adapun tahapan program ini adalah observasi dan perijinan, workshop tentang tugas pokok dan fungsi dari tim pencegahan kekerasan berdasarkan Peraturan Mendikbudristek Nomor 46 Tahun 2023, pendampingan implementasi tim pencegahan kekerasan di sekolah, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pemahaman sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Peningkatan pemahaman tim pencegahan terdiri dari pemahaman terhadap tugas, pemahmanan terhadap implementasi tugas, pemahaman penyusunan program, dan pemahaman terhadap alur penanganan kasus. Setelah mengikuti pendampingan ini, sejumlah 30 sekolah dampingan berhasil menyusun program pencegahan kekerasan baik yang bersifat preventif maupun kuratif.

[English]: Violence within the school environment represents a significant issue that jeopardizes the safety and well-being of students. Under Regulation Number 46 of 2023 issued by the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Senior High Schools (SMA) in Semarang City have established teams for violence prevention and management (TPPK). However, the effectiveness of the team’s implementation has been hindered by a poor understanding of their assigned duties and responsibilities. Good knowledge and understanding will support the effective implementation of handling violence at schools. This community service program aims to increase the knowledge and understanding of TPPK team members to prevent violence. The program collaborates with the Semarang City High School Principal\u27s Working Meeting (MKKS), representing 77 high schools, including 61 private and 16 public schools. This program employed a Community Development approach. The stages of this program were observation and licensing, workshops on the main tasks and functions of the violence prevention team, assistance in implementing the violence prevention team in schools, and evaluation. The results show there was an increase in understanding before and after the program. Improving the understanding of the prevention team consists of an understanding of tasks, an understanding of the implementation of tasks, an understanding of program preparation, and an understanding of the flow of handling cases. After participating in this mentoring, a total of 30 assisted schools have successfully developed violence prevention programs, both preventive and curative.

This research uses a qualitative method that focuses on the Environmental Care Program by KPID NTB in Banyumulek Village, West Lombok. The results showed that KPID NTB succeeded in building public awareness and participation in monitoring broadcast content through media literacy activities in the Desa Peduli Penyiaran program. The collected data is then grouped and analyzed based on the similarity of the data type with the aim of drawing conclusions from the data obtained. From this study, it can be concluded that the role of the Medan Estate Village government in distributing social assistance is to collaborate with all village officials and the obstacle in distributing this assistance is the many envy of fellow residents and the efforts made by the village community. THE ROLE OF THE PROPHET IN EDUCATING CHILDREN AND ITS IMPLEMENTATION IN PREVENTING GADGET ADDICTION IN CHILDREN

One technology that is currently attracting a lot of attention from the public, including children, is gadgets. However, the use of these gadgets sometimes causes people to become addicted to using them if they are not controlled. This research aims to determine the role of the Prophet in educating children and its implementation in preventing gadget addiction in children. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive-analytic data analysis techniques. The results of this research show that Prophet Muhammad has an important role in educating children, contributing to efforts to prevent gadget addiction in children. In addition, parents also play an important role in preventing gadget addiction in children, especially by being good role models as the Prophet was a role model for his people. It is very important for parents to build good communication with their children by applying teachings of the Prophet Muhammad in interacting with children. Likewise, discipline in educating children provides valuable lessons for parents in guiding their children with clear, consistent, and loving rules. Finally, parents can help children choose friends who have positive habits or engage in other creative activities that do not involve excessive use of gadgets. By emulating the Prophet\u27s way of educating children, parents can be more effective in preventing gadget addiction in children, forming good character, and instilling strong religious values from an early age
Carbon Taxonomy Modelling Based on The Theory Planned Behaviour

This research tried to design a waste management model based on individual behavior and economic values. The approach used is a mixed method using SEM PLS as a quantitative analysis tool and descriptive analysis and literature study as a qualitative analysis. The conclusion obtained is that in the consumption behavior variables, the factors age, education, food consumption, energy consumption and residues have a positive impact on awareness of managing waste, in the waste management variables education, individual benefits and values have a significant impact on awareness of managing waste, this finding then became the basis for the development of carbon taxonomy
