ANALISIS TINDAK TUTUR ABU UBAIDAH DALAM PIDATO 36 HARI PASCA PERANG HAMAS-ISRAEL: TEORI JOHN SEARLE
This research discusses the analysis of speech acts in Abu Ubaidah\u27s speech 36 days after the conflict between Hamas and Israel. The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the types of illocutionary speech acts used in the speech based on John Searle\u27s speech act theory. This research is important because it provides an in-depth understanding of how language is used in the context of conflict to achieve various communicative goals, as well as being a reference for the pragmatic linguistic study of John Searle\u27s speech act theory as a language capable of producing action and providing additional information about the development of the Hamas-Israel conflict. The method used in this research is qualitative with library study techniques, allowing in-depth analysis of the speech material. The main findings of this research show that Abu Ubaidah\u27s speech contains four types of illocutionary speech acts, namely assertive, directive, commissive and expressive. Examples of assertive speech acts include conveying information about war situations, while directive speech acts include praying and giving advice. Promises or oaths represent commissive speech acts, and expressive speech acts include greeting, criticizing, and praising. These results indicate that the speech was designed to not only convey information but also to motivate, inspire, and mobilize listeners. This research emphasizes the urgency of understanding language use in conflict contexts
HASSAN HANAFI\u27S QURANIC HERMENEUTICS: ANALYSIS OF THE INTERPRETATION OF THE TERMS AL-AR? AND AL-M?L
This article questions the extent to which Hassan Hanafi\u27s phenomenological hermeneutical ideas can be applied in understanding the text of the Quran. The research adopts a literature approach in critically examining the hermeneutics of the Quran by Hassan Hanafi, with a focus on the interpretation application regarding land (al-ar?) and property (al-m?l). The primary data sources primarily come from several of Hasan Hanafi\u27s works. The research findings indicate that Hassan Hanafi\u27s phenomenological hermeneutics is fundamentally based on the maudhu\u27i interpretation method. His interpretations do not apply the principle of hermeneutics in the sense of verstehen, where the interpreter is subjective and intervenes in the meaning of the text, but rather erklaren, by objectively explaining the text. This can be seen in the understanding of the terms al-ar? and al-m?l, where their interpretations are obtained from the sound of the text or a series of scattered texts in the Quran. Regarding the phenomenology he uses as an approach, it is evident that he takes natural and social phenomena as an explanation of the meaning of the text. This is certainly different from Fazlurrahman, Arkoun, Nasr Hamid Abu Zaid, who elaborate and seem to drift in the vortex of Western thought

Accuracy Test of Qibla Direction of Qowiyuddin Mosque Jagir Wonokromo Surabaya
This study was conducted to examine the accuracy of the Qibla direction of Masjid Qowiyuddin in Jagir Wonokromo, which is a crucial aspect of performing prayers (shalat) for Muslims. The instruments used in this research included the Mizwala Qibla Finder, Right-Angled Triangle, and Theodolite, each serving to ensure the precise measurement of the Qibla direction. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the researcher collected primary data through interviews and direct field measurements, as well as secondary data from various literature references. The results showed a deviation in the Qibla direction by 23°49\u2712" to the north from the mosque’s current orientation, indicating the need for an immediate correction to ensure accurate alignment for worship. The urgency of this accuracy test is high, as the correct Qibla direction is a requirement for the validity of prayers. Therefore, it is recommended that the mosque’s management adjust the Qibla direction based on these findings and regularly verify its accuracy to avoid errors that could affect the quality of worship for the congregation
VALIDATION OF QIBLA DIRECTION OF RAUDHATUL JANNAH MOSQUE, PANCENG GRESIK
Roudlotul Mosque Jannah is the only mosque in Wonorejo Hamlet, Dalegan Village, Panceng District, Gresik Regency, built in the 1970s. The mosque used to be a small prayer room which was later converted into a mosque for local residents. In the past, only a simple method was used to measure the direction of the Qibla, namely using a compass. Meanwhile, the science of determining the direction of the Qibla has now undergone many developments and given rise to methods that are considered more accurate. Therefore, the author is interested in researching the accuracy of the direction of the Qibla of the mosque using the Rashdul Kiblat global Qibla direction measurement method and the Qibla azimuth used with Mizwala Qibla Finder and Isamicastro application. After conducting research, it can be obtained that the direction of the Qibla is Roushotul Jannah deviated or was not quite right towards the actual direction of the qibla with a difference of 3° 37\u27 58.62” less to the south. Research into the direction of the qibla of mosques or prayer rooms is very important, considering that the qibla is Wrong One condition legitimate for a very prayer? important. So the research on the direction of the Qibla makes the congregation in the mosque or prayer room more solemn and does not doubt the direction of the Qibla
BEST PRACTICES IN CSR PROGRAMS: EMPOWERMENT OF URBAN HOME INDUSTRY ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
The concept of an urban village aligns with the sustainability development framework by enhancing urban civilization and socioeconomic culture. However, inadequate environmental management has led to problems, such as irresponsible household industries and small and medium enterprises exacerbating socio-environmental issues through poor waste management and unsanitary food production practices. The presence of companies plays a crucial role in community development through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. An example is the "Innovative Food Urban-Village" initiative by PT KPI RU III, which addresses urban issues. This study aims to showcase CSR best practices. It employs both qualitative and quantitative methods, using a phenomenological approach. The results demonstrate that CSR best practices effectively address issues through various innovations, including: 1) household industry waste management, 2) urban village planning, 3) creative food products, and 4) good manufacturing practices.
Random walk tests for the MENA stock returns
Purpose — The current study seeks to understand whether individual stock returns exhibit random movement and are not dependent (efficient at weak form) on fourteen out of sixteen actively traded Arab stock markets in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, based on the size of the market value.Method — Various non-parametric methods, including autocorrelation test, variance ratio test, Phillips-Perron unit root test, and runs test, are used to assess the random walk hypothesis for daily data following the Covid-19 vaccination program. This analysis covers the period from January 3, 2021, to March 28, 2023.Result — The study results present evidence that all individual stock returns deviate from random walk behavior. However, only Kuwait, Jordan, and Palestine stock returns follow the random walk based on the run test results at a significance level of 10%. Therefore, it can be concluded that all stock returns are inefficient at the weak-form, suggesting that investors have opportunities for unexpected gains.Practical implications — The findings of this study suggest that investors in the MENA region may have opportunities for unexpected gains, as individual stock returns deviate from random walk behavior, highlighting the importance of considering market dynamics and employing informed investment strategies. Additionally, policymakers could benefit from understanding the inefficiencies in stock returns to implement measures that promote market stability and efficiency
