    GIMICS AS A POLITICAL COMMUNICATION APPROACH

    The use of political communication through gimmicks to increase candidate popularity continues to emerge, although traditional methods are still partly relevant. However, gimmicks without substance are a challenge for candidates and democratization. This research aims to see the relevance of gimmicks as an alternative to political communication. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The findings show that gimmicks can be used as a political communication approach. Strengthening the gimmick is important, especially when offering the candidate\u27s ideas. Political communication through gimmicks is too focused on entertainment and does not fully address the need for reform ideas in resolving public issues

    Public space is formed from the development of communication and information ztechnology involving internet users in cyberspace. Public space is utilized as a forum for discussion related to halal food products in Indonesia by the Muslim community. This discussion related to Muslim public space uses a case study method to examine phenomena that exist on Instagram social media. The discussion results show that mass media can be used effectively to exchange information between individuals included in the cyber community to discuss various aspects of halal food products in Indonesia. The role of public space as a forum for discussion of halal food products can add insight and improve the quality of consumers in choosing halal food products

    This study examines the principle of justice in the principles of fiqh siyasah and its application in Indonesia as the country with the largest Muslim population in the world. Fiqh siyasah combines understanding sharia law (fiqh) with the art of leadership and governance (siyasah). Justice in fiqh siyasah is a fundamental principle that colours every government policy and action. The basis of the principle of justice is sourced from the Qur\u27an, such as QS An-Nisa verses 58, 135 and QS Al-Ma\u27arij verses 24-25, which order to uphold justice in law, testimony, and welfare distribution. The application of justice in Indonesia can be seen in law enforcement without discrimination, trustworthy governance, economic justice, protection of minority groups, and equal access to education. However, challenges, such as corruption, discrimination, and gaps, must be overcome to realize justice fully according to the guidance of fiqh siyasah.     The focus of this research aims to explore the views of Armada Riyanto and Pope Francis on anti-violence dialogue, especially in the context of prevention and reconciliation. This research will go through an analysis of the practical approach of these two personages in implementing dialogue as a preventive and reconciliatory tool in facing violence in the name of religion. The point of emphasis is not only to reject the emergence of violence in the name of religion, but also to encourage proactive preventive efforts. Armada Riyanto and Pope Francis believe that dialogue can be an effective means to deal with the potential for violence and to respond to the reality of existing violence. The views of these two personages emphasize the importance of dialogue as a powerful preventive instrument. Through dialogue, people can understand each other, reduce tensions, and find solutions that are fair to all parties. Both are aware that one cannot ignore the reality that life adepting a religion often displays the face of violence. A dialogal spirit becomes the foundation of prevention and reconciliation in dealing with the reality of conflict, without having to lead to violence. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide new insights into the importance of dialogue in building communities of religious believers who are more peaceful and tolerant

    NAVIGATING COMMON GOOD AS THE FRAMEWORK OF PROMOTING RELIGIOUS MODERATION EDUCATION IN INDONESIA

    As a nation with highly multicultural societies, Indonesia comprises various ethnic groups, customs, cultures, and religions. This often triggers societal conflicts between tribes, cultures, and beliefs. For this reason, a model or approach is needed to increase tolerance and respect. Therefore, it is essential to explore the common good values as a framework for promoting religious moderation education through a philosophical approach, particularly in the Indonesian setting. This concept emphasizes the need for cooperation between various beliefs to achieve common goals in creating an inclusive and harmonious society by emphasizing universal moral principles in developing a framework for religious moderation education. Specifically, this study aims to implement the concept of the common good as a universal religious moderation value in Indonesian society as a nation with a significant plurality. The method used in this research is qualitative library research using secondary data. Based on the relevant literature, the results showed that the concept of the common good as the idea of promoting religious education moderation as a solution to the problems of diversity and plurality of religions, cultures, tribes, ethnicities, and groups in Indonesia as a nation with a high level of diversity. This review implies that Indonesian societies ought to embrace the idea of the common good to create harmonious and more tolerant societies in Indonesia

    This study aims to determine the effect of teacher’s professionalism on student’s interest in Arabic learning of class X MAN 1 Mataram for academic year 2020/2021. The population in this study were students of class X MAN 1 Mataram and the researcher took 45 students from the population to be used as samples in this study. The research approach used is quantitative research because the desired data is in the form of numbers. The researcher used three research instruments for collecting data namely questionnaires, documentation and observation. The data analysis used Pearson product moment correlation and simple regression with the help of SPSS 16.0 software. Based on the results of the correlation analysis, there was a positive and significant relationship with a correlation level of R=67% indicating a strong relationship between the two variables. And as for the results of the regression analysis, the researcher got the value of F arithmetic > F table 37.140> 4.06 with a significance level of 0.00 <0.05 so it can be concluded that there is an effect of teacher professionalism (X) on students\u27 interest in learning Arabic (Y), with the contribution of the effect of teacher’s professionalism (X) on students\u27 interest in learning (Y) is R Square = 45.8%.     This article aims to measure the ability of nahwu and shorof as the main capital in the proficiency of Qiroatul Kutub, knowing the inhibiting and supporting factors for the ability of santriwati in Qiroatul Kutub, and knowing what methods are applied in learning Qiroatul Kutub proficiency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. By using three pedagogical, sociological, and psychological approaches. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and tests. The results showed that the ability of nahwu and shorof of female students majoring in religion was in the good category and showed indications of progress after the roll-out of Qirotaul Kutub learning with the Arbai\u27in method.  Factors affecting the ability of Qirotaul Kutub students majoring in religion are the minimum duration of learning time for teachers and students, the different intelligence abilities of santriwati in interest in learning and differences in basic Nahwu Shorof abilities, the adjustment of the qirotaul kutub curriculum which has undergone revision is one of the inhibiting factors from the instrumental side of the institution.   The Qiroatul Kutub method used is the Arbai\u27in Demak method authored by Al Mukarrom kyai Muharror Khudori, this method prioritizes efficiency and innovation in reading bare books or Arabic texts with the help of the Arbai\u27in Demak method.     This research is motivated by the issues related to the low ability of students in pronouncing letters, words, or sentences in Arabic, especially for beginner learners, to prevent future errors that may hinder the learning process. This study aims to analyze students\u27 errors in reading Arabic texts from a phonological perspective. It is a qualitative research with a descriptive research design. The results of this research are as follows. Firstly, the phonological error forms in Arabic speaking skills among students of the Siraaj Al-Thalibin Islamic boarding school include errors in throat consonant groups (?????) and tongue groups (??????); vowel errors such as vowel deletion, vowel substitution, and long-short vowel errors; diphthong errors; double consonant errors (????); and assimilation errors (??). Secondly, the factors causing errors in Arabic language speaking skills include linguistic and non-linguistic factors. Non-linguistic factors such as low interest and motivation in language learning, and lack of application of the Arabic language

    Muslims believe that learning Arabic should be primarily focused on understanding the meaning of the Qur\u27anic texts because the Arabic language and the al-Qur\u27an have a close link. Understanding the meaning of the Qur\u27an requires knowledge of both the inner uses of the sentences as well as the actual lafaz from which they are constructed. Also, because it uses instances of expressions quoted from the Qur\u27an, Arabic language study has not been centered on developing student talents in understanding the meaning of the Qur\u27an from the perspective of Balagah Science. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research design, and two methodologies are used to collect the data. A direct analysis of the Balagah Surah Al-Fath employing Balagah Science Theories Library Research is the first technique, in which researchers gather information by looking at the well-known interpretation books among Muslims. The researcher collects data, which is involves direct observation, and interviews in the research field. There are goals for this investigation is to make these methods more effective for learning Arabic. Based on the findings of the study process conducted at Madrasah Diniyah Islamiyah Ketangga, it has been determined that the surah Al-Fath contains a number of Balagiyah Techniques, including 1. Ijaz (4), 2. Ithnab (5), and 3. Musawah (1). The Qiasiyah Method is used to implement these Balagiyah Techniques, which starts with a general Qawa\u27id Balagiyah lesson before introducing examples from surah Al-Fath as a way to compare them to the Qowa\u27id and to help students understand it better
