The Role of the Immanuel Church in Jakarta in the 1998 Reformation Events
The role of the Immanuel Church in Jakarta in the 1998 Reform event is the main focus of this research. The research method is historical/historical method, namely heuristic, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The analysis in this study uses the role theory proposed by Soekanto and the theory of tolerance value. This theory is used as a method of analyzing the history of thought, especially the role of the Immanuel Church in the dark reformation of 1998. The results of the study show that the crisis is an unstable situation and produces undesirable things, at the level of the monetary crisis became a new problem among the people of Jakarta in 1997, Jakarta as the center of government became the place where demonstrations and demonstrations by students began. The economic crisis has an impact on the number of unemployed and difficulties in people's purchasing power which increases crime. The peak of crime occurred in the act of looting that began around Jakarta and spread outside the region as a form of disappointment and loss of coordination in the community in the May 1998 incident. The Church as a community and place of worship has the responsibility to maintain stability in society with efforts made through the internal Church community. The Immanuel Church Jakarta has a role in the reform events by providing a place for people who need shelter from riots and looting
Development of Web-Based Learning Media on Hindu-Buddhist History Materials for Tenth-Grade Students at SMA Negeri 7 Semarang
This study aims to develop web-based learning media for the topic of Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms in history subjects for tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 7 Semarang. The background of this research lies in the absence of web-based learning media applied in the history learning process, particularly for the topic of Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms. History teachers also expressed the need for innovative media that can support teaching and learning activities in a more interactive and flexible manner. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The product developed is a web-based learning platform accessible online, containing instructional materials, educational videos, and practice questions. This media is expected to serve as a solution to improve the quality of history education in schools
Open-Ended Approach as a Development of Imaginative Creativity in Learning History
This study discusses Open-Ended questions by relying on questions that are stimulating and encourage students in learning history to imagine the question "If" on historical content or historical material, or with the question "How and Why" to be applied in history learning in high school and college. Some of these questions can be a trigger for students and college students to reflect and imagine the material of historical figures and historical events in the past by utilizing the creativity and imagination of students and college students in learning history. So, in learning history, students and college students give more meaning to historical events and historical figures in the historical material that has been delivered in class. So that learning history is more interesting and explores the potential of historical material more deeply and in detail
Students’ Perception of History Learning Methods in Class X SMA Negeri 15 Semarang
This study aims to explore the perceptions of Grade X students at SMA Negeri 15 Semarang regarding various history teaching methods used in class, including lectures, group discussions, the use of digital media, and project-based approaches. This research employs a qualitative exploratory approach, with data collected through student questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with history teachers. The findings show that most students perceive the dominant lecture method as monotonous, boring, and lacking interactivity. In contrast, teaching methods that actively involve students—such as group discussions, presentations, historical videos, interactive maps, and educational applications—received positive responses. These approaches were considered more engaging, easier to understand, and better suited to the learning styles of the digital generation. These findings highlight the importance of innovation in history teaching methods that are more contextual, participatory, and technology-integrated to enhance both the effectiveness and meaningfulness of learning. This study contributes to understanding student perceptions as a foundation for developing more relevant and enjoyable history teaching strategies.
Islamic Education in Nusantara at Mosques (Review of Historical and Contemporary Aspects)
Since the time of the Islamic kings, mosques have become the center of Islamic activities throughout the Archipelago. Mosques function as educational institutions, centers for spiritual growth, and social interaction within the community, in addition to being places of worship. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the role of mosques in Islamic education in the Archipelago from both historical and modern perspectives. The study's findings indicate that mosques have played an important role in the lives of Muslims as centers of social interaction, education, and conversation in addition to being places of worship. Mosques have now evolved into more comprehensive activity centers that encompass outreach, social, health, and educational services. This evolution shows how mosques can be flexible and adapt to the needs of the community and the changes of the times
Hegemony of Power Between Dutch and British Imperialism in Bima in the 18th Century
This research is descriptive analysis using historical methods, through several stages of activities which include heuristic, criticism, interperation, and historiography. This research aims to provide an overview of the hegemony and trade war between Dutch and British imperialism in the Bima region. The results of the study show that the factors that encourage the Dutch and British to plant their influence in Bima are generally geopolitical and economic factors. The Dutch-British imperialist rivalry in the region was dominated by the influence of British power while the Dutch gained territorial control over the entire island of Sumbawa. Therefore, hegemony and trade competition have not occurred in open wars between the Dutch and the British in the struggle for power in the area since the XVIII century
The Position of Women in Islamic History
During the pre-Islamic era, women were considered like goods sold in the market. After Islam came, the position of women began to be equalized with men. Islam teaches that men and women have the same position. Even so, it turns out that in practice this is not the case. In Islamic history until today, even in Islamic countries, the position of men is still higher than women. This research aims to analyze the position of women from the time of the prophet to the era of the Ottoman Turkish dynasty. This research uses historical research methods to examine the topic under study. The result of this research is that gender equality taught by the prophet has not been fully implemented, because there are challenges from the culture and thinking of the community. Women during the time of the prophet until Khulafa al-Rashidun were only limited to the intellectual field (religion). They began to be involved in social and political fields from the Umayyad Dynasty to Ottoman Turkey. The small number of women who appear in history proves that gender equality has not been achieved
DETERMINAN KEMISKINAN DI SUMATERA UTARA: STUDI KASUS 33 KABUPATEN/KOTA PERIODE 2020-2022
Indonesia has committed to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) launched by the United Nations (UN), one of which is the first SDG that aims to eliminate poverty in various forms. Although the government has made various efforts to reduce poverty, this problem is still one of the government's focuses that requires continuous handling. The phenomenon of poverty in Indonesia is also exacerbated by the low quality of labor which results in low productivity and ultimately has an impact on low wages. The purpose of this study is to determine the determinants that affect Poverty in 33 Cities/Regencies in North Sumatra in the period 2020 to 2022. This study uses panel data analysis, namely the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The regression results show that the Open Unemployment Rate and Regency / City Minimum Wage have a positive and significant effect on poverty in 33 districts / cities in North Sumatra. Meanwhile, HDI has a negative and significant effect on poverty in 33 districts/cities in North Sumatra
PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PREZI PADA MATA PELAJARAN DASAR-DASAR AKUNTANSI DAN KEUANGAN LEMBAGA DI SMK NEGERI 5 PALEMBANG
Abstrak- Tujuan dari proyek ini adalah untuk menciptakan sumber pengajaran berbasis Prezi yang membantu siswa memahami pelajaran dasar persamaan akuntansi. Penelitian fokus pada pembuatan bahan ajar prinsip-prinsip akuntansi dan lembaga keuangan untuk meningkatkan kedudukan siswa dan meningkatkan hasil belajar dan pengetahuan siswa. Model pengembangan empat dimensi (identifikasi, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi) yang diusulkan oleh Thiagarajan (1976) digunakan dalam penyelidikan ini. Sumber belajar yang dibuat dengan menggunakan Prezi terbukti sangat berhasil, perlunya pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Prezi berdasarkan wawancara di kelas menunjukkan hal itu berdasarkan temuan peneliti. Investigasi dinyatakan sah dibuktikan dengan keempat auditor memperoleh skor rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 87,61%. Berdasarkan angket individu dengan skor 100 persen dan kategori reliabilitas tinggi, serta angket kelompok kecil dengan skor 89,5 persen dan kategori reliabilitas tinggi, dilakukan uji lapangan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa. Dan berdasarkan pengembangan media pembelajaran Dasar-Dasar Akuntansi dan Lembaga Keuangan di SMK Negeri 5 Palembang, hasil belajar siswa terbukti efektif. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan bahwa 38% sampel berada pada kelompok kurang baik, sedangkan 90% sampel berada pada kategori “sangat baik” berdasarkan statistik post-test. Siswa kelas X mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 57,22%
PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA CANVA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MATA PELAJARAN AKUNTANSI DASAR KELAS X JURUSAN AKUNTANSI DI SMKN 1 JENEPONTO
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media canva terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X jurusan akuntansi di SMK Negeri 1 Jeneponto. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah Penggunaan Media Canva (X) dan Hasil Belajar (Y). Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X Akuntansi 1 di SMK Negeri 1 Jeneponto yang terdiri dari 31 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh di mana seluruh populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian dengan sampel sebanyak 31 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear sederhana, analisis korelasi pearson product moment, koefisien determinasi, dan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana diperoleh model persamaan Y’ = 65.420+0,581X yang berarti penggunaan media canva berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang tiap penambahan 1 nilai penggunaan media canva, maka nilai hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,581 satuan. Dari hasil analisis korelasi pearson product moment (r) diperoleh nilai r = 0,644 yang berada pada Interval 0,50-0,699 memiliki hubungan yang sedang antara penggunaan media canva terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Dari hasil analisis koefisien determinasi (R2) diperoleh nilai R2 = 0,415 atau 41,5 % yang berarti penggunaan media canva memiliki konstribusi kepada hasil belajar sebesar 41,5 persen sedangkan sisanya 58,5 persen dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Sementara dari hasil analisis uji-t diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,000<0.05 yang berarti penggunaan media canva berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Maka hipotesis yang diajukan “diduga bahwa penggunaan media canva berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran akuntansi dasar kelas X jurusan akuntansi di SMK Negeri 1 Jeneponto” dapat diterima
