The key variables included service quality, information quality, system quality, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, use intention, and satisfaction. The validity of the research instrument was assessed by The index of item-objective congruence (IOC), and a pilot test by Cronbach alpha coefficient reliability test. A questionnaire survey was conducted among 500 permanent residents in Chengdu. Additionally, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling were used as statistical analysis tools to evaluate the data. Results: The analysis revealed that service quality, system quality, and perceived ease of use significantly impacted use intention and satisfaction. System quality and information quality significantly affected perceived usefulness. Satisfaction had a significant effect on the use intention. On the contrary, information quality and perceived usefulness had no significant impact on use intention. Get PDF
Even though cryptocurrency is not yet legalised in Thailand nor a legal tender, the popularity of trading in cryptocurrency has risen from time to time in the market. From the perspective of financial firms or institutions, there are opportunities to establish financial services/products based on cryptocurrency investment in anticipation of the legalisation of cryptocurrency trading by the Bank of Thailand (BOT) and the Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand (SEC Thailand). In the past few years, Asian countries, such as China, Japan, Vietnam and Singapore, have widely invested in cryptocurrencies in order to obtain a return on investment. Many countries, including Thailand, are aware of cryptocurrencies, especially in terms of taxation, Initial Coin Offering (ICO), legalisation and control and scamming. This study focuses on providing a deep analysis of the perceptions of Thai cryptocurrency investors. The investors’ demographic characteristics of gender, age, occupation, education level and income were examined as control variables. The data analysis was based on 898 respondents in Thailand and used a binary regression model. Based on the research, age, gender and income have a significant influence on cryptocurrency adoption. An increase of one unit of income will increase the adoption rate by 1.256

Design/Methodology/Approach - This research is using secondary data analysis and an archival study approach to investigate the factors that how online advertising and marketing have an impact on purchase intention through customer behavior, product awareness, and customer satisfaction. The data was gathered from 390 respondents who have ever used online shopping in the last two months. Moreover, this research adopted three theoretical frameworks from previous studies to construct a new conceptual framework. Findings - This research examined the influence of online advertising and marketing impact customer behavior toward purchase intention in online shopping. The finding of the research revealed that online advertising and marketing have an impact on product awareness and customer satisfaction. Moreover, the strength of the relationship between online advertising and marketing and customer satisfaction is stronger than that between online advertising and marketing and product awareness. However, there was no relationship between customer behavior, product awareness, and customer satisfaction do not have an impact on purchase intention in online shopping. Research Limitations/Implication - There are some limitations to researching the influence of online advertising and marketing on customer behavior towards purchase intention in online shopping due to time and budget constraints. Moreover, this research is conducted only in Bangkok and collected data from 390 respondents as a sample size of the whole Bangkok population. So, this study may not be completely applicable to people from the whole population of Thailand and in other countries and different periods. Purpose: The study aims to investigate the determinants of behavioral intention toward using personal health assistant services and technology for potential hypertension patients in a private hospital in Bangkok. The developed conceptual framework contains perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude toward using, customer satisfaction, social influence, facilitating condition, behavioral intention, and usage behavior. Research design, data, and methodology: 500 participants involved in this study, applying purposive, stratified random, and convenience samplings. To assess content validity and reliability test, the index of item objective congruence (IOC) and Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient value (pilot testing) of 50 samples were conducted. The research applied statistical method, using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM). Results: Perceived ease of use significantly influences attitudes toward using. Attitude toward use has a significant influence on customer satisfaction but has no significant influence on behavioral intention. Social influence and facilitating conditions significantly influence behavioral intention. Furthermore, behavioral intention significantly influences usage behavior. Nevertheless, perceived usefulness has no significant influence on attitude toward use. Conclusions: The leading enterprises in healthcare industry should push effort more than even to redefine health technology by moving to the value-based care model for patients, considering significant factors enhancing usage behavior

Purpose: “Rain classroom” is a smart teaching tool jointly developed by Xuetang and Tsinghua University Online Education Office. This study aims to investigate first-year students’ behavior intention and use behavior using the online learning system of Rain Classroom in Chengdu, China. The conceptual framework contains perceived usefulness, self-efficacy, attitude, subjective norms, effort expectancy, behavioral intention, and use behavior. Research design, data, and methodology: The study was conducted quantitatively by distributing questionnaires to 500 participants. The data were primarily tested for content validity and constructs’ reliability in The Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) and pilot test (n=50) of Cronbach’s Alpha. The sampling procedure involves judgmental, stratified random, and convenience sampling. The data was analyzed through Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results: The results show that perceived usefulness and subjective norms significantly influence attitude. Furthermore, self-efficacy, attitude, subjective norms, and effort expectancy significantly influence behavioral intention. Behavioral intention and use behavior are also significantly related. Nevertheless, non-support relationships exist between self-efficacy and attitude, and effort expectancy and use behavior. Conclusions: The application of rain classrooms can be enhanced by promoting its benefits and how such a system can optimize students’ learning efficiency

    Get PDF
With the acceleration of technology and social information, mobile phones have become an indispensable part of college students’ life and studies. The use of mobile applications renders benefits to vocabulary learning and teaching. This study aimed to investigate the experiences and preferences of Chinese EFL students in a private international university in China using mobile phone applications in vocabulary learning. The participants included 123 second-year English major volunteer students who responded to the needs analysis questionnaire. The results revealed that, for the students’ experiences, despite a mandatory requirement to achieve the national vocabulary test level-4, the Test of English Major Band-4 (TEM-4), students had poor performance in vocabulary, both receptive and productive due to the lack of learning tenacity and functional learning methods of vocabulary. They showed the requisites to master a proper way to learn words using mobile applications. For their preferences, the students preferred learning words through activities combined with audio-video and notes. At the same time, students also liked to use learning-oriented mobile applications, E-dictionary and WeChat, to learn vocabulary. The current research would lay the foundation for the subsequent research on designing a teaching mode by using mobile applications to improve students’ vocabulary size

Exploring Tourists’ Responsible Behavior: Evidence from Thailand

    Get PDF
The study aims to measure tourists’ responsible behavior, and to develop a structural equation model of responsible tourist behavior among Thai tourists. A questionnaire survey was conducted using an online questionnaire. A total of 503 Thai domestic tourists who practiced responsible behavior participated in the study. The data were analyzed through structural equation modeling with a two-stage approach. The results of the analysis revealed a good fit with the empirical data (CMIN/DF = 2.62, RMSEA = 0.06, CFI = 0.94, TLI = 0.92). Moreover, the findings highlight two underlying factors which emerged for responsible behavior, namely impact consideration and local connections. The establishment of an extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) model with two additional predictors including environmental and social concern, and pro-environmental behavior in everyday life, explains the formation of tourists’ responsible behavior. Destination managers and marketers can encourage tourists’ responsible behavior by implementing meaningful experiences with various low-impact tourism activities. Relevant government agencies and policy makers can promote responsible campaigns and events to enhance responsible behavior
