    A Study on the Impact of Leadership Style, Work Culture and Work Environment on Work Performance

    The research primarily focuses on developing an understanding of the factors that would motivate the employee to perform well within the organization. By controlling independent variables such as Work Culture, Work Environment, and Leadership style, the organization could influence the work performance of the employees. This exploratory study was conducted on a sample of 90 men and women. The primary data was collected via a Google Forms questionnaire, and 90 valid responses were compiled for the study. G*Power 3.1.9.2 was used as additional software to calculate the sample size. The software computed 89 as the sample size. The structural equation model was analyzed with SmartPLS 4. This research helped find out that leadership style has the highest influence which is 43% on the work performance of the employee in comparison to other variables (Work Culture – 25.1%, Work Environment – 13%). In addition, it was also found that there are other factors (18.9%) that influence employee work performance. The organization should try to control these independent factors to get maximum productivity from their employees and the employees will be benefited with proper job engagement

    Factor Influencing Job Performance in Audit and Consulting Services of Big 4 Accounting Company in Thailand during COVID-19 situation

    The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in Thailand began on January 13, 2020. Thai government had announced lockdown which had an effect to the work system to response and prevent the outbreak of COVID-19. There are many previous studies have been discussed on how work from home affected to job performance in generally term but there are only few research showing how work from home is affecting to audit and consulting services. Therefore, this study is aimed to determine the factors that influence job performance in audit and consulting services of big 4 companies in Thailand. This study develops a conceptual framework from previous literature review, which consist of five independent variables. The study used the quantitative research survey method, a questionnaire was developed and distributed equally to 280 employees in big 4 companies in Thailand and 264 employees were responded. The result of the study showed that employee commitment has impact on job satisfaction, despite of work-life balance has no impact on job satisfaction. Moreover, work environment and job satisfaction have affected to job performance, whereas remote working has no affect to job performance

    Impact of Food Safety and Standards Regulation on Food Business Operators

    The main aim of the study is to understand food regulation and food safety in India context and global aspects. It also explains the major health problem and recent past reports of FSSAI. The primary data were collected from food business operators (mobile food vendors, many small scale hotels, and local restaurants). It also helps to ensure the knowledge and awareness level of the food business operators. This study is to understand the view of food-business operators in a B-grade city of India “Salem” in Tamil Nadu about the FSSAI regulations and the status of performance of the food safety department in maintaining safety and quality of food and also to know about the level of awareness among the usage of fortified foods among food-businesses. The Study concludes that the Food and Safety Officers should regularly visit for inspection and monitor the food business operators for the betterment of public health. There should be proper awareness about the ingredients are used in fortified food among food-businesses to eliminate malnutrition and avoid food adulteration. The future rules and regulations of FSSAI should be strictly implementing all over India and properly monitor their activities of food business operators to fulfil the FSSAI standards

    Service Quality and After-Sales Service on IoT-Based Car User Satisfaction and Repeat Purchases Services in Indonesia

    This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and after-sales service on the customer satisfaction of car users using IoT (Internet of Things) technology provided with their car purchase. Digital disruption has made manufacturers turn to digital services and marketing systems to discover and understand customer behavior. Using the Isaac and Michael formula a sample size 155 respondents was determined, and data were accordingly collected for processing via non-probability sampling techniques. Data were obtained from respondents matching the unique criteria of Indonesian users of cars with IoT innovation technology. Such cars now account for 10% of total new car sales. This study utilizes path analysis, revealing that customer satisfaction encourages loyal customers to buy new units. The main finding of the research is that a service system connected to the internet or smartphones makes users comfortable and can determine the future choice for product repurchases. Therefore, it is necessary to develop continuous emotional closeness with customers for future success

    Factors Influencing Customer Co-Creation and Happiness in Fitness Center Businesses

    Current understanding of the effect of co-creation in the context of a fitness center is limited. This study aims to examine the factors influencing customer happiness in the fitness center businesses, with customer co-creation as the mediating variable, comparing the differences between businesses and providing insights into customer co-creation and happiness within the fitness center context. The study adopts a quantitative research design, collecting data from fitness centers located in Siam Paragon, CentralWorld, and Samyan Mitrtown, Thailand. A total of 598 respondents participated in the survey, while the collected data were analyzed using GSCA Pro software version 1.1. The research findings confirm that the sharing of experiences significantly influences customer co-creation, which in turn affects customer happiness and overall customer experience. Managers and marketers should establish close relationships with customers, allowing them to actively participate in creating their own experiences within the fitness centers. This direct involvement of customers is a critical factor directly impacting customer happiness

    Achieving Satisfaction and Loyalty of Teacher Training Major Students in Chuxiong, China

    Purpose: The aim of this study is to investigate the factors influencing the satisfaction and loyalty of teacher training major students in Chuxiong Normal University. The conceptual framework proposes causal relationships among academic aspect, reputation, service quality, facility, student satisfaction and student loyalty. Research design, data and methodology: The researcher used the quantitative method to distribute online questionnaires to 500 students of Chuxiong Normal University. The sampling techniques are judgment sampling, quota sampling, convenience sampling and snowball sampling. Before collecting the data, researcher ensured construct validity by using the index of item-objective congruence (IOC). Then, Cronbach's Alpha reliability test was carried out to validate internal consistency of constructs in the pilot test. The data were analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM), including goodness of model fit, reliability and validity. Results: The results reveal that reputation, service quality and facility significant affect student satisfaction. Furthermore, student satisfaction has a significant impact on student loyalty. On the other hand, academic aspect has no significant impact on student satisfaction. Conclusions: Academic practitioners and university executives should improve student satisfaction and loyalty by promoting good reputation and evaluating the efficiency of academic program, service and facility

    Drivers of Attitudes toward Online Purchase Intention Among Residents of Taiyuan in China

    Purpose: This study aims to investigate the influencing factors of consumers’ attitudes towards online shopping and purchase intention in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. The conceptual framework proposes the causal relationship between trust, subjective norm, perceived risk, perceived behavioral control, attitudes, and purchase intention. Research design, data, and methodology: The researchers used a quantitative method (n=500) to send questionnaires to consumers about the online shopping experience in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. A nonprobability sampling includes judgment sampling, quota sampling, and convenient sampling. Structural equation modeling (SEM) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were used for data analysis, including model fitting, reliability, and validity tests. Results: The results show that trust significantly affects online shopping attitude. Furthermore, perceived risk, perceived behavior control, and attitude have significant effects on purchase intention. The influence of subjective norms on shopping intention is not significant. Attitude has the greatest impact on shopping intention. Conclusion: It is suggested that the managers of online shopping platforms should maintain consumers’ good attitudes toward online shopping, improve the level of trust mechanism, and control risks. the research results will help strategic managers and marketers of online shopping platforms gain better experience and enlightenment in attracting consumers to enhance the development of the online shopping market

    Getting Ready for Business Expansion: To Enhance Employee Motivation and Work Performance Through HR Management Practices, Emotional Intelligence and Initiating Organization Learning Culture: A Study of a Fintech Company in Myanmar

    Purpose: The purpose of the study is 1) To investigate the current situation of employees’ motivation, work performance, HR management practices, emotional intelligence, and organization learning culture of ABC Co., Ltd. employees, 2) To implement appropriate Organization Development Interventions (ODIs) in order to support the organization for business expansion, 3) To determine the differences in employees motivation, work performance, HR management practices, emotional intelligence, and organizational learning culture between pre- and post-ODI, and 4) To gain insights of the participants on employees motivation, work performance, HR management practices, emotional intelligence, and organizational learning culture between pre- and post-ODI. Research design, data and methodology: This study employs questionnaires and semi-structured interviews for data collection for two phases: pre-ODI and post-ODI. After data collection, OD interventions such as human resources interventions, employees stress and wellness interventions and knowledge management interventions were performed. After data collection, quantitative data analysis with SPSS software and qualitative content analysis with NVivo software was performed. Results: The results reveal that ODI made significant improvements on employees motivation, work performance, HR management practices, emotional intelligence, and organization learning culture. Conclusions: According to the results, improving HRM policies and practices, emotional intelligence and organization learning culture improved employees motivation and work performance

    Differences in Corporate Social Responsibility Sensitivity Between Business and STEM Students

    Purpose: The prominence of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) within the international business environment has permeated higher education wherein it has been incorporated alongside the study of business ethics in curricula across many majors. This study is unique in the literature of CSR education in that it  sought to determine if CSR sensitivity differed between undergraduate business majors and undergraduates majoring in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Research Design: A Mexican university was analyzed using demographic and attitudinal variables in a self-administered survey. The results indicated that students with STEM majors showed a higher CSR sensitivity than business majors – a unique finding in CSR literature. Findings: In general, female students had a higher sensitivity to CSR than male students. Students, regardless of their major, with little or no work experience expressed a higher sensitivity to CSR. Finally, year of study was significant in that seniors expressed a higher sensitivity than freshmen.&nbsp
