Penerapan HTB (Hierarchical Token Bucket) Dalam Manajemen Bandwidth
Get PDFSMA Negeri 5 South Bengkulu is one of the public schools in South Bengkulu that already has internet access at the school in collaboration with Indihome. The amount of bandwidth obtained is 50 mbps. The purpose of this research is to apply HTB (Hierarchical Token Bucket) in helping bandwidth management so that internet usage can be used evenly. The implementation of HTB (Hierarchical Token Bucket) in Bandwidth Management at SMA Negeri 5 South Bengkulu can help bandwidth management so that internet usage can be used evenly based on the priority user rights that have been created, where there are 3 bandwidth priorities that will be applied with different bandwidth amounts, namely the Principal, Teachers, and Staff. IP Address used is IP class C, where the Server has IP Address 192.168.1.15, then for clients connected to USB Lan Adapter has IP Address 192.168.2.2 for Principal, IP Address 192.168.2.3 for Teachers, and IP Address 192.168.2.4 for Staff. The implementation of this IP Address is carried out on every device that will be connected to the internet network at SMA Negeri 5 South Bengkulu. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, the results show that bandwidth management at SMA Negeri 5 South Bengkulu is running well and bandwidth distribution is carried out evenly
Pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja Terhadap Motivasi Peserta Magang Msib 7 Di Ruang Belajar Aqil
Get PDFMagang dan Studi Independen Bersertifikat (MSIB) is a government program created by the Ministry of Education and Culture and was first held in 2021 with the aim of providing practical-based experience to students and producing graduates who are ready to work. This research examines the influence of the work environment on the motivation of MSIB Batch 7 interns at Ruang Belajar Aqil (RBA), a non-profit institution in Malang City that focuses on quality education and community empowerment. The research method used was qualitative with in-depth interviews with MSIB Batch 7 interns in Assistant positions. The research results show that the physical (facilities, cleanliness) and non-physical work environment (relationships between individuals, communication, appreciation) have a significant influence on the motivation of interns. Interns who have high motivation will contribute and produce optimal performance. The causes of decreased motivation of interns are excessive workload and lack of effective communication. This research emphasizes the importance of managing a supportive work environment to increase the motivation and performance of interns

Get PDFThis research discusses the policy tools made by Padang State University (UNP) in handling cases of sexual violence within the institution. Usually when sexual violence occurs, both against lecturers and students or female students, victims are confused about where to report it. If reported to the department or faculty level, victims usually cannot be handled properly because there are no guidelines that become benchmarks in preventing and handling sexual violence on campus. Therefore, a comprehensive and integrated policy tool is needed, starting from clear reporting procedures, structured case handling mechanisms, to an adequate victim assistance system.This research is a type of descriptive research with qualitative methods. The data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation. Informants in this study include the UNP PPKS Task Force, UNP Tendik, UNP Lecturers and UNP Students. This research uses the Policy Instrument Theory from Howlett and Ramesh (1995) which divides instruments into 3 (three) groups, namely, Compulsory Policy Instruments, Voluntary Policy Instruments, and Mixed Policy Instruments.The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the policy tools of Permendikbudristek No. 30 of 2021 at UNP has been running through various policy instruments, although there are several instruments that have not been implemented optimally. Referring to the Policy Instrument Theory proposed by Howlett and Ramesh (1995) shows that of the six existing policy instruments, four instruments have been fulfilled well, namely regulations, direct provisions, voluntary organizations, and information and exhortation. The other two instruments, namely public enterprises and subsidies, have not been fulfilled optimally due to constraints in coordination with government agencies and limited funding systems. UNP needs to strengthen coordination mechanisms with government agencies and develop a direct subsidy scheme for victims of sexual violence to ensure more effective policy implementation

Get PDFThis study aims to understand the implementation of the Regulation of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Number 28 of 2019 related to the equalization of administrative positions to functional positions within the BKKBN Representative of South Kalimantan Province. With a qualitative approach and descriptive methods, this study relies on interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques, while informants are the main source of information. The data is analyzed through the process of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of this policy is still not optimal. Based on Edward III's policy implementation theory, it was found that the variables of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure have not reached ideal conditions. This research also highlights the role of policy implementers and the impact of policies on relevant officials. As a recommendation, the Representative of the South Kalimantan Provincial BKKBN needs to improve the work system in functional positions to ensure that policies can run more effectively and in accordance with applicable regulations, so as to support bureaucratic efficiency
Implementasi Kebijakan Kawasan Tanpa Rokok (KTR) Di Kantor Dinas Pendidikan Dan Kebudayaan (P&K) Kota Sukabumi
Get PDFIn an effort to limit smoking activities among employees, the Office of Education and Culture (P&K) of Sukabumi City implements Regional Regulation No. 3 of 2014 concerning Smoke-Free Areas. This study aims to determine how the implementation of the Smoke-Free Area (KTR) policy is carried out in the Office of Education and Culture (P&K) of Sukabumi City and the obstacles faced by the Office in implementing the KTR policy. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method and employs the theory of Diana M. DiNitto with four dimensions: communication, resources, bureaucracy, and attitudes. Data for this study were obtained from interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Smoke-Free Area (KTR) policy in the Office of Education and Culture (P&K) of Sukabumi City is still not optimal due to inadequate resources, unstructured bureaucracy, and attitudes that show some employees still smoke inside the office. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the Smoke-Free Area policy cannot proceed effectively due to several inhibiting aspects, namely communication, resources, bureaucracy, and attitudes. The recommendations provided include the need for more intensive and continuous socialization and education regarding the KTR policy, the enforcement of strict laws with clear sanctions for violators, the provision of supporting facilities such as separate smoking areas, and effective supervision by forming a special monitoring team responsible for ensuring compliance with the KTR policy

Get PDFmployee performance in the public sector is a crucial element in assessing the effectiveness of government policies and service programs. One of the internal factors influencing this performance is organizational culture. A strong organizational culture is believed to foster a positive work environment, increase employee loyalty, and encourage the achievement of optimal results. However, not all public agencies possess a supportive organizational culture. This study aims to analyze and show that organizational culture in public institutions has an influence on the good or bad performance of the employees produced. It employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing library research as the primary method of data collection, followed by content analysis. The findings indicate that employee performance in public institutions is influenced by organizational culture. The study shows that the better the organizational culture, the better the performance of employees. Therefore, organizations should routinely review their adopted cultural values and provide training aimed at strengthening organizational culture and enhancing employee motivation

The Jambi Province Diskominfo actively uses social media and uses Instagram to spread news/information in Jambi Province. This research aims to explain the Jambi Provincial Diskominfo optimizing the dissemination of public information through Instagram social media and explain the obstacles faced by the Jambi Provincial Diskominfo in disseminating information through Instagram social media. This study uses a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that the Jambi Provincial Diskominfo has used Instagram quite well in optimizing the dissemination of public information through features such as feeds, reels, and instastories. However, the entertainment aspect and social interaction have not been optimally optimized, causing low appeal, especially for young people. The main obstacles in content management include limited human resources, budget, low digital literacy of the community, and lack of audience participation

Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the optimization of website utilization as a cyber public relations (CPR) medium in supporting the company's communication strategy, with a case study at PT. Indonesian Technology, Kota Metro. The research approach used is qualitative with a case study method. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The research findings show that the company's website has been utilized as a cyber PR medium; however, it still requires improvement in aspects such as interactivity, the application of search engine optimization (SEO) techniques, as well as the consistency and quality of information presentation. An effective digital communication strategy plays a crucial role in increasing stakeholder interest in the company. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that optimizing a website as a cyber public relations (CPR) medium must include the delivery of high-quality content, systematic implementation of SEO, and a digital-based interaction strategy to strengthen corporate communication

This research seeks to explore how marketing communication strategies are applied, drawing upon the theoretical framework of the marketing communication mix. A qualitative research design was adopted, utilizing a case study approach with data gathered through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and relevant documentation. The findings reveal that the marketing communication practices employed encompass advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, direct marketing, public relations, and word-of-mouth marketing. The management of Maknyus Cafe & Resto plays a pivotal role in disseminating key information, ensuring that both promotional content and culinary offerings deliver added value to the target consumer base

Get PDFThis study is motivated by the important role of first-time voters in shaping democracy, who often face limitations in information and understanding of the election process. The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of political literacy conducted by the General Election Commission (KPU) of Samarinda City in increasing the participation of first-time voters through Instagram. The study employs a qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that KPU Samarinda has implemented various political literacy programs, including outreach in schools, utilization of Instagram, and democracy training for youth. However, challenges such as low political interest among young voters and limited resources remain obstacles. In conclusion, the political literacy efforts by KPU positively contribute to raising awareness and participation of first-time voters, though strengthening strategies and cross-sector collaboration are needed for more optimal outcomes
